We celebrated our wedding in August 2022 here and it was everything we dreamed of and more! The venue itself is stunning, but the team around Paola really make the difference. After having to move our wedding due to covid-19 by two years, we were lucky that the entire staff did all they could to make our dreams come true. Despite last minute challenges such as rain and guest arrival changes, they made every effort possible to make this day unforgettable, and succeeded ! All of our guests were happy and taken care of, the menu was delicious and well presented, the house wine is a delight, and the service was unbeatable. We would do it again every time and can only recommend this venue for any future wedding couple - please do not be irritated by the bad reviews of the past, it is better than you can ever imagine. We’re so thankful for everyone in making our dreams come true, and cannot imagine a better wedding venue than Montelucci.

Montelucci made my dream wedding come true!||I will forever feel honoured to say I got married at Montelucci! Serena, Paula and all the team at Montelucci will hold a special place in my heart forever. The most beautiful, charming, and bespoke wedding venue you will ever come across. Each morning I woke up and had to pinch myself that this was real life. For the whole weekend we felt as if we were in our own bubble with just our friends and family, you completely forget about the outside world. We took the risk of booking and paying our deposit before even visiting and my goodness am I thankful we did, I was completely blown away as it is even more beautiful that the pictures show and then I fell in love all over again with Montelucci when we arrived at the start of our weekend. Even now I get butterflies reminiscing about our beautiful wedding weekend. The food, the venue, the wine, the staff and the setting is just one of a kind and incredibly hard to put into words. When people ask us about our wedding weekend, we can only describe it as incredible and everything we wanted and more. It was the most magical, special and wonderful wedding that I don’t think you will ever be able to compare to anything else! Our guests cannot stop talking about their weekend at Montelucci and have said that this was the best wedding they have ever been to and no other wedding will be able to top it. My husband’s Great Auntie and Uncle said they “have been to many weddings all over the word but our wedding at Montelucci has out done them all!”. I think there should be a special mention to Serena and Paula who are both just amazing. They think of every little detail and put so much love into every wedding, they honestly just make you feel like part of the family! I don’t have enough words to say how grateful I am to everyone at Montelucci for making my dream wedding come true. I even cried when it was time to leave and I have made my husband promise that we can come back and do it all over again for our 10th anniversary. I know that whenever I am next in Italy I will be popping in to visit Montelucci and seeing those breath taking views once again. Finally, as one of our guests has written to us and we couldn’t agree more… “A wedding weekend we will never forget and always remember with a smile”. ||Thank you once again Montelucci for all of your hard work, love and making such a special memory we will cherish for the rest of our life. |

We are so happy to have chosen Montelucci Country Resort as our wedding venue! Not only were we able to have all of our guests fit and stay comfortably on-site, the venue provided amenities for our guests to stay entertained! Our guests absolutely loved the peaceful nature of the grounds, and the pool and billiard's room! Paola, Serena, Belinda, Sara and the rest of the Montelucci staff were a pleasure to work with and made our three days at Montelucci feel like home. We can't thank them enough for making our wedding such a memorable experience that we will cherish forever!

We celebrated our wedding weekend at Montelucci and everything was perfect. Our guests came from all over the world and enjoyed the accommodations, food, wine and overall hospitality. The staff was a pleasure to work with and did not hesitate to answer questions or help with requests. The overall atmosphere of the weekend was relaxing and fun. I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding weekend one to remember!

Such a beautiful venue. You really don’t know what to expect as you climb the steep, narrow, rocky road but when you arrive the views are breathtaking. |The food was fantastic for the 3 days that we were there. |The staff were all super friendly. |The pool was lovely but could have done with more sun loungers and fewer wasps. |The only downside….. the bedrooms in the main building don’t have Aircon and are hotter than the sun. A fan was provided but very little sleep was had.

Sono stata al Montelucci Country Resort con il mio compagno per il matrimonio di un'amica. Abbiamo passato 2 giorni fantastici, immersi nella natura, lontano dalla frenesia di tutti i giorni. La struttura è molto curata, le camere sono pulitissime e con il giusto tocco retró, il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, la cucina è assolutamente eccellente! Che dire... è stata la location ideale per il matrimonio di una principessa!

Sono stata in questo resort in occasione di un matrimonio: l'atmosfera che si respira è quella di un casolare antico ma con un sapore di modernità. ||E' stato possibile dagli sposi prenotare tutta la struttura e questo ne garantisce l'esclusività. Tutto curato nei dettagli, cibo buono e ottima mise en place. ||Lo staff è presente per le esigenze degli ospiti. Non ho dormito nella struttura ma chi lo ha fatto si è trovato bene. consigliato!

A wonderful wedding at Montelucci Country resort! A couple of friends married here 1 week ago and as a guest I couldn't imagine a better location. All was well prepared and organized, the staff was smiling and caring of details and made every moment a magic one. The view, the garden and beauty of the inside spaces along with very good food and wine (wine produced by them).. all fantastic! I do recommend it not only for events and for the restaurant, but also for a relaxing stay.

Ho trascorso un weekend per un matrimonio con esclusività del posto per gli invitati per 2 giorni, il 3 ottobre.
Paola, le altre ragazze e lo staff son stati con noi meravigliosi tanto che alla fine erano anche loro più ospiti del matrimonio che organizzatori dell'evento.
Son precisi, anche puntigliosi se vogliamo, ma se si riesce a creare empatia con le persone ecco che danno il meglio di loro.
Cibo e vino fantastici. Prodotti locali di buona qualità.
Le scelte sul menù son molto limitate ma perché c'è attenzione al piatto. Tutto quello che ho mangiato l'avrei ripreso altre tre volte.
Il posto poi è bellissimo, rilassante nella natura tra oliveti e vigne, con possibilità di fare passeggiate o rilassarsi a bordo piscina (un po' fredda a ottobre, ma se ho fatto il bagno io lo può fare chiunque!) La struttura è una fattoria riadattata con tante unità indipendenti, nel classico caldo stile rustico toscane, camere pulite e arredate in stile.
Se proprio devo trovare un punto debole, un servizio bar che può essere migliorato, anche se è comprensibile si voglia limitare certi eccessi.

We stayed 3 nights in Montelucci to celebrate the wedding of our Italian friends. It's a great place in the Tuscan hills. Both before, during and after the wedding the service was great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere perfect. I've seen the bad reviews, but can't think of how these experiences can be true after meeting the people that run this place with such great love. Even the dirt road leading to the venue has the least amount of potholes I've counted in Tuscany :)

We had the most amazing 3 day wedding experience at Montelucci. The staff around Paola and Elisa were extremely helpful and made sure we had an unforgettable time. From helping us with our one-year old and being extremely flexible about our wishes to making sure non-Italian speaking guest had everything they needed. The food (and wine) provided by Alessandro and Luca was magnificent, and the location is unbeatable! Many thanks again for the wonderful time and we will be back!
Edit: We've read some negative reviews about this place and have to say this: If you expect everything to go exactly to your plan and don't speak any Italian please be flexible. Understand it is more a 'family' business run with the heart, not a Hilton where you spend 10 times as much. Paola was extremely helpful to us and made sure we had a wonderful time and we can't thank her and the staff enough for the magnificent time!

Spent a few days at Montelucci as a wedding guest -- it was incredible. The scenery, the food, and the relaxed environment were amazing. All the staff we met were welcoming and very helpful.

On the wedding day, the strap of my dress broke, and the two women at the front desk immediately dropped what they were doing, found thread and needle and offered to help me sew it back. That is the kind of place this is!

Having visited this only recently, I wanted to commit my review to writing as soon as I had a clearer head and and an even clearer memory of our long weekend at Montelucci. This review isn’t going to be as pretty as the picturesque scenery, in fact, it could come across as quite scathing. However, is it my honest opinion.||||We checked in on day one and all was good, very pleasant staff in a beautiful reception area surrounded by a collection of fine wines from their vineyards. Outside, you are surrounded by stunning views not fitting for a mere camera phone, but a professional photographer’s playground. ||||We were shown to our room and let in, all good so far. The majority of the fun happened on the second day, our friend’s wedding day. I noticed that the pool bar kept randomly closing, the doors slammed shut despite the large number of people present around the pool. The bride and groom were constantly having to speak to management. This seemed a common theme at Montelucci, nothing to do with the staff personally as they seemed very apologetic, the manager Paola kept telling them to move onto other things. Short staffed. Seemed to be that they didn’t want to lend themselves to the notion that a member of staff would have paid their own time in the amount of alcohol that 90 or so people could have drunk on a wedding day.||Flavia, who was very pleasant throughout and a credit to the place, was even told to shut the bar by a certain time before the wedding, despite the 4 or five people at the bar at the time. This led to a small disagreement between Flavia and another guest. I felt sorry for her, but surely the best thing to have done would have been to have only served the people who were there and not accept any new people at the bar? Paola's management style seems to reflect poorly on her staff who take the brunt of the abuse when they pull one of their strange stunts. I get the feeling that their staff are not happy working with such a person.||||Another incident was around the meal for the Sunday, a menu was produced by the management detailing the courses available for that evening. It was €30 per head. Then at the 11th hour, it was changed to a buffet at €20 per head, my own personal opinion would be that due to the sheer lack of staff at Montelucci to deal with a sit-down meal.||||The last one that comes to me is the two tall suited gentlemen (who were hired by the hotel to keep an eye on security I imagine). Nothing to moan about here do I hear you say? Well, it was all a little bit over the top, dare I say it had a touch of the SS about it? Both gentlemen were very pleasant to speak to. But again, when speaking to one of them via the translator on their phone, they were only there on behalf of Paola and to be acting in a certain way.||||On the whole, the group of people that we were with did not let the hotels strangely graceless management ruin their weekend, we celebrated together and it was a fabulous wedding. Do I think that the hotel contributed towards that feeling? No. I think they did all that they can to aggravate the bride and groom due to the lack of the staff and reneging of promises. An earlier reviewer mentions that there are some similarities with Fawlty Towers, I’d say Basil Fawlty would have been brilliant to watch, whereas Paola’s unmalleable approach to compromise made it difficult for a bride and groom who’s sole focus was on their guests, whom had travelled a great distance to share their day with them, not squabbling with a manager on a power trip.||||The positives...||||#unreal scenery||#Beautiful looking grounds and buildings||#Fantastic food cooked by a wonderful Chef who talked wonderfully with guests||||The negatives…||||#The management||#Beer served in half pint plastic cups from a large bottle for €3.50 each||#Strange bar closing times||#The lack of manoeuvring by the management to ensure that the hard-earned money paid by the families were invested into a weekend to remember||||Having read the reviews before I wrote this, there seems to be a common, consistent reason why the reviews have shifted from 4/5 stars to 3, 2 or even 1 star. One name crops up. If you are thinking about booking your wedding or holiday here, read the reviews first. Whatever happened when the old manager left and the new manager came in has distorted the views on this wonderful place.||The group of people we went with made this a fantastic holiday, it could have been even better if the management played ball and alleviated the stress on the couple who were married there.||||I am giving this an extra star purely because I think that the short amount of staff that they do have DO work hard, bloody hard in fact. They are just let down by a captain whose sole aim is to smash the business into an iceberg.

Wunderschön gelegen. Anlässlich eines Hochzeitsfestes besuchten wir das Montelucci. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir unfreundlich begrüsst. Nach der Benutzung des Swimingpools wurden wir von der Direktorin heftig und laut gerügt, weil der Pool angeblich mehrere Tage gereinigt werden sollte. Das Essen und die Köche waren fabelhaft, jedoch wurden uns nach 22.00 keine Getränke mehr verkauft! Noch nie haben wir auf unseren Reisen soviel unhöflichkeit Seitens einer Direktion erlebt. Beim Vorabend des Hochzeitsfestes mussten wir bei grösster Hitze über 2 Stunde auf unsere Getränke warten, weil die Direktion zu unflexibel war dem Wunsch des Brautpaares nachzugeben. Das Brautpaar selbst tat uns schon richtig leid, weil jeder Wunsch kategorisch mit einem „No“ abgeschlagen wurde.||Schade um dieses Anwesen welches sich dank eines missmanagment in den Abgrund reitet.

Fuimos a pasar unos dias en Semana Santa con la familia y estuvimos muy a gusto. El sitio es estupendo, en una región única y con unas vistas estupendas, un sitio ideal para descansar y desconectar de la ciudad. El personal escelente, muy buen trato, hablan español perfectamente. Las estancias estaban limpias y la decoración acorde con el lugar. Tardaron un poco en servirnos la comida entre platos pero nos lo compensaron con un postre típico italiano. En general muy contentos.

Un lugar para desconectar, si se prefiere disfrutar del entorno hay ofertas para hacer senderismo, paseos en caballo o relajarse en la piscina, tiene buena ubicación en la región de la Toscana para poder visitarla y relativamente cerca de los destinos típicos de la región. ||No es un hotel clásico que todo esta en un edificio, las habitaciones están repartidas en casas acondicionadas, son las casas del pueblo antiguo de Montelucci, por lo que no tienes una sensación de aglomeración de gente.||Las habitaciones no son de lujo pero correctas acorde con entorno de campo del hotel, el desayuno completo y el servicio de restaurante estupendo con platos típicos de la región muy bien elaborados por su Chef, los vinos y el aceite son de elaboración propia, la relación calidad precio es aceptable.||La recepción es el centro neurálgico del Resort en ella se puede tomar un vino, café, charlar con el personal y es único lugar que dispone de Wifi, en mi opinión se agradece de que las habitaciones no dispongan de este servicio.||Aprovechar el atardecer en sus jardines muy bien cuidados como todo el entorno, y tomar un vino solo escuchando los pájaros y viendo los colores del sol en el cielo es una terapia aconsejable.||En cuanto al personal del hotel solo agradecer su amabilidad en todo momento y su predisposición a que te sientas como en casa desde el primero al ultimo.||Para los españoles ningún problema con el idioma hablan castellano perfectamente.||Han sido unos días perfectos y es muy aconsejable, hasta siempre!!!

Aunque asuste un poco el acceso (es una carretera de piedras sin asfaltar), uno se siente muy cómodo en el marco de este complejo. De él se puede destacar la tranquilidad que encontrará el visitante, al igual que el buen trato por parte de todos los que allí trabajan. Si no se desea coger el coche la oferta del resort ofrece: piscina, paseos con caballos y posibles excursiones a pie, aunque seguro que estarán encantados en explicar qué es lo que se puede hacer desde allí. ||Si se desea conducir, el sitio está cerca de cualquier destino de los obligados por la comarca aretina.||Es un espacio rural, por lo tanto que el visitante no espere los lujos de los hoteles de las ciudades, ni tampoco olvide que su visita podrá estar acompañada de algunos "bichillos".||El desayuno es muy completo y se volverá más atractivo si el tiempo acompaña y se puede tomar en el jardín.||Admiten animales, por lo tanto los amantes de perros y gatos estarán de enhorabuena. Los que no gusten de comer o desayunar acompañados de ellos, mejor que no se alojen en este lugar.||Si se opta por cenar en el restaurante tampoco es mala opción, pues la oferta de platos y vinos es muy aceptable, al igual que el precio de los mismos.||Wifi solo hay en la recepción, pero esta se encuentra abierta en todo momento.||Por las noches solo se oirán los sonidos de la naturaleza, acompañado de un cielo espectacular.
