We absolutely loved our 4 nights stay. It is more beautiful than the photos can show - the view at the surrounding lovely hills and other villas is enchanting! The hotel has the feel of an old palace and the staff is very very nice (especially Oana was so very charming and nice). Food was very good and tasty wine. Our room (double superior) had a beautiful view. Minibar, coffee maker, bathrobe- perfect. For a small fee you can have your breakfast served in the room, which we did on the first day and it was soooo nice and tasty. The bathroom was pretty with marble, but a little bit narrow/small. One minor issue: The lovely room did not have any painting or picture on the walls. As it was otherwise so nice (wooden floor, antique furniture) I felt this was lacking. The whole stay felt more like 5 stars than 4. Very service oriented. Someday I would love to return in summer and enjoy the lovely surroundings and it must be so magic to sit outside in the evening. Keep up the good work and thank you!!

Soggiorno in una villa di charme in collina con una splendida vista. Ambiente parzialmente rinnovato, camera ampia, bagno un po’ datato. Personale alla reception molto collaborativo, nei vari cambi turno hanno mostrato tutti un livello professionale eccellente. In questo periodo il rapporto qualità prezzo è assolutamente favorevole e la posizione, la cortesia e la villa antica creano una suggestione che potrebbe non essere scontata in periodi differenti dell’anno

Bella villa ma ha bisogno di piccoli ritocchi, ottima la prima colazione, si potrebbe aumentare la insonorizzazione almeno nella camera 106. Parcheggio perfetto è un prezzo ottimo. Gentilezza e pulizia in tutto l’hotel .

Colazione super da 5 stelle dolce e salata.
Piccolo inconveniente: da una porta comunicante, lasciata aperta, siamo entrati nella stanza vicina dove abbiamo trovato una signora e suo marito che stava uscendo dalla doccia proprio in quel momento.
Da segnalare la mancanza di una luce centrale per una adeguata illuminazione della stanza da letto e ventola del bagno cieco non funzionante. Presenza di vasca da bagno invece di una più comoda doccia con semplice piatto.
Molto carini però gli spazi comuni e personale gentile.
Ampia possibilità di parcheggio.
Struttura nel complesso accogliente e lussuosa.
Bella la vista sulla vallata.

Location molto bella e suggestiva, ottima colazione con prodotti freschi e vari. Comodo il parcheggio gratuito. Buona la qualità del cibo al ristorante, con interessanti proposte vegetariane. Il signor Nicola è stato molto gentile e disponibile ed è preparato sulla storia della villa e sui consigli per visitare i dintorni.

I stay at hotel Michelangelo at least twice a year, either by myself or with my family. This time I had my mother, 2 daughters (and a boyfriend) and wife with me and all of them absolutely LOVED staying there. For Christmas, we enjoyed lunch with my relatives in the restaurant. The food was perfect as usual, the scenery breathtaking taking and service second to none. I will be going back to the villa in mid January and look forward to seeing Meri again who's customer service and care is simply unparalleled. Ottimo lo staff e il soggiorno in generale, ma non è stata una sorpresa visto che era ero già stato ospite. Purtroppo, considerando che ho dovuto passare parecchio tempo in camera, devo osservare che la dimensione della camera era davvero troppo piccola per le mie esigenze, in modo particolare il bagno, considerando che tra camera e colazione la spesa non è stata irrisoria.

Siamo stati questa sera al Ristorante Villa Michelangelo e l’esperienza è stata davvero impeccabile. Dall’antipasto al dolce ogni piatto è risultato curato, equilibrato e buonissimo.
Il personale è stato gentile, simpatico e al tempo stesso estremamente professionale, capace di farci sentire a nostro agio per tutta la serata.
La location è stupenda: un luogo elegante e suggestivo, perfetto per una cena speciale.

I only have the highest words of appreciation for this pristine property!

I knew to expect a great experience reading all the reviews prior booking. The stay, the staff and everything about the place exceeded my expectations.

The first sight as you drive up stuns you, and then every walk you take to the room keeps adding to the excitement. There’s beautiful detailing on about every aspect of the property, be it the door knobs or the stair railings or the ceramic plates on the walls.

The property overlooks some of the best views of the rural hills. The small town of Arcugano can be explored by foot. An early morning or evening stroll cannot get better than this.

Dining was excellent. The multi-room dining areas are set beautifully rustic.

Breakfast was some of the best I’ve bad. The croissant was crisp, and I’ve no count of how many I’ve had!

A special mention to the folks who run this place. The front desk, the help and the restaurant attenders are well mannered and best in their trade.

If you’re reading this, definitely consider booking this place. This is a holistic getaway experience, where you can take life at a slower pace and enjoy the beauties of nature, with the best of heritage architecture.

Wir hatten ursprünglich einen Aufenthalt von fünf Tagen gebucht, sind jedoch nach einer Nacht abgereist.

Die Hygienestandards im Hotel entsprachen leider nicht unseren Erwartungen.

Obwohl wir uns bewusst waren, dass die Zimmer nicht hochmodern sind, war der Zustand der Ausstattung alt und abgewohnt.
Nach einer Beschwerde an der Rezeption, die von einem sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiter entgegengenommen wurde, erhielten wir ein neues Zimmer.

Dieses war auf dem ersten Blick "okay", aber bei genauerem Hinsehen waren auch hier Mängel zu erkennen, die besonders in Verbindung mit den Bildern im Internet enttäuschten.

Insbesondere fanden wir Haare in der Dusche, auf dem Boden und an den Lampen, sowie Schimmel im Badezimmer, was inakzeptabel war.

Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit sowie kulant, im Gegensatz zum Restaurantpersonal, das wenig freundlich und unprofessionell wirkte.
Das Essen war von geringer Qualität und erinnerte an Kantinenkost.
Auch im Speisesaal war Schimmel zu finden.

Zusammenfassend ist das Hotel renovierungsbedürftig und sollte dringend auf seine Hygiene- und Qualitätsstandards überprüft werden.

Schade, dass so ein schönes Anwesen von innen so heruntergekommen ist. Dies erklärt aber dann auch wohl den Preis.

Es tut uns aufrichtig leid, dass wir Sie bei diesem Aufenthalt nicht überzeugen konnten, auch wenn unser Team alles darangesetzt hat, auf Ihre Hinweise zu reagieren und Ihnen entgegenzukommen. On our way to Tuscany, on the recommendation of some friends, we stopped here for one night. A special place, as if taken from a story. When you step into the reception of the villa, it's like stepping into a book. Images from another time open up to you. The rooms are very clean, they smell very nice. The breakfast is varied and can be taken on the terrace or inside. Everything was so pleasant that we regretted not staying 2 nights. We will definitely return to this wonderful location.

Mi sono ritrovata presso hotel villa michelangelo per via del soggiorno di Miss Aurora per la finale nazionale, e devo dire che ho trovato tutto incantevole! Dalla camera, al cibo e alla piscina. Le stanze molto spaziose e pulite, non ho trovato nulla fuori posto e non mancava nulla. Ho utilizzato il mini frigo bar in camera e c’era di tutto, perciò veramente bene. L’unica pecca è la salita per arrivarci, ma la visuale ne vale la pena!!

Awesome Hotel in a villa from 1790. Located in Vicenza 50 km to Verona, 70 km to Venice in a quite hillside! Breakfast buffet really good! Worth every dime!

A ver qué me explique, el personal maravilloso, el edificio, el ambiente, la ubicación y los jardines, todo perfecto, pero las habitaciones no, necesita una reforma integral, la primera noche la habitación olía a alcanfor, tan fuerte que al día siguiente aún lo olía, en el viaje de vuelta, una habitación super pequeña con una ducha en la que apenas se cabe, si mides 1'68 y pesas 60 kg, apenas se cabe, si eres algo más grande, no way...el precio es carísimo en mi opinión, no lo voy a decir porque me enfado otra vez

Como le pudieron ya explicar en la Recepción, debido a la falta de disponibilidad en el Hotel, habíamos comunicado con antelación a su grupo que algunas habitaciones en esta ocasión iban a ser individuales. El precio que le ofrecimos era de todas maneras descontado respecto a las tarifas públicas. Le pedimos disculpas y esperamos poder recibirlo nuevamente en nuestro Hotel en el futuro. En base a nuestra experiencia en el Savoya Excelsior de Trieste perteneciente a la cadena Starhotels Colezione decidimos pasar 4 noches en Villa Michelangelo perteneciente a la misma cadena.||La ubicación es magnífica con vistas a los montes circundantes y Vicenza y se respira tranquilidad.||Nos costó un poco llegar al lugar pues a pesar que hay algunos carteles indicadores son pequeños y están escritos con caracteres poco visibles. ||||En el desayuno nos atendió una camarera muy amable y dispuesta con una sonrisa constante, lo cual es un toque agradable. El desayuno es adecuado aunque poco variado y nos sorprendió no encontrar más variedad en el fiambre, p.ej. el speck tan promocionado.||||La habitación y el baño no lucían limpios y además había hormigas en ambos lugares. Hicimos notar esto en recepción y la respuesta fue que estábamos en el campo y tratarían de solucionarlo, cosa que no hicieron. Esto se entiende pero no se explica en la página ni en los anuncios.||El baño tiene una cortina plástica que no es compatible con un hotel 4 estrellas y la bañera tenía hongos en las juntas.||||Es de destacar que el hotel tiene muchos desniveles con escalones, lo que debe tenerse en cuenta para personas con alguna discapacidad.||||En base a lo anterior quedamos un poco decepcionados…

Elegir este Hotel , como base para recorrer el Veneto , ha sido un acierto pleno.|El edificio y los espacios comunes sin tremendamente agradables y acogedores.|La situación, las vistas, la piscina, la terraza, hacia que el regreso al Hotel, al caer la tarde, fuera muy apetecible.|El personal eficaz y muy agradable.|Sin duda, muy recomendable!!

Reserve este hotel creyendo que iba a ser otra cosa (207€/noche). Muy bonito por fuero pero obsoleto por dentro. Muy decepcionada...|Habitaciones viejísimas, baño pequeño, wifi solo en zonas comunes, desayuno normalucho... No volvería a este hotel.

Lugar ideal para descansar y tomarlo como base para visitar Vicenza, Padova y aledaños. Sobre una colina con vistas 360 a todo el valle que rodea Arcugnano, mucha paz, tranquilidad y relax. Muy bueno el restaurante pero tener cuidado la cocina cierra temprano por la noche. La única contra, desde mi punto de vista: el camino de acceso.
