Abbiamo trascorso dei giorni memorabili soggiornando in famiglia presso la Villa Trinità. Siamo profondamente riconoscenti ai proprietari per la loro squisita gentilezza e raffinata accoglienza. La struttura è semplicemente magnifica. Un parco vasto e ben curato, stanze rinnovate con gusto e dettagli raffinati, una spaziosa cucina equipaggiata con utensili e tutto il necessario per gioiosi pranzi famigliari. La sala da pranzo altrettanto vasta ed elegante. E sopratutto, un salone con un grande camino per serate di gioia e semplicità con i nostri bambini, attorno al fuoco. Raccomandiamo vivamente questa villa con il cuore, una storia antica e un charme alla Agatha Christie. Ci piacerebbe ritornare, magari in estate. A presto!

Splendida villa in campagna, non lontana da Roma. Grazie alla villa stessa, il giardino e dintorni l’atmosfera é serena e bucolica. I proprietari sono stati cortesi e disponibili. Assolutamente consigliata per qualche giorno di riposo e relax circondati dalla natura!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks in Relais Villa La Trinita’. The first week we had our children and grandchildren and the second week we had our siblings. The Villa is gorgeous! It is a well loved family estate that is filled with memories and lovely antiques. The villa is privately nestled in amongst hazelnut trees and provides a beautiful vista of some of the countryside. Micheal and Paola were attentive and helped us navigate the area. They help us find rental cars and help arrange trips into Rome as a well as a few nights with a chef. We enjoyed visiting a few of the sites near and around Capranica. It truly was a lovely vacation and everything you would expect a Villa in Italy to be! WE would love to visit again!!!

Incredible villa with beautiful gardens and a wonderful pool. We had the most enjoyable holiday we have ever had and the hosts Michela and Paolo are wonderful and kind people. About one hour from Rome central and with beautiful views and towns to visit nearby. We used the Coop supermarket which is 10 minutes drive away frequently. Their guide book and restaurant guide is also fantastic and made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Superbly renovated villa with well manicured garden, beautiful trees, and wonderful swimming pool in the Etruscan countryside. Not far from Rome, too. We truly enjoyed our stay there!

We just returned from an absolutely magical stay at this stunning villa. Words can hardly convey how special it is. It was the highlight of our 2 weeks in Italy because it checked all the boxes, and then some. The villa itself is elegant, comfortable and perfectly appointed. We loved the original antiques & shelves of beautiful old books. The park surrounding the villa is remarkable- the giant trees, the roses, the lavender garden were gorgeous. So many birds & butterflies! We enjoyed wandering through the hazelnut orchards, stargazing on the terrace and many, many hours by the lovely pool. Our kids couldn’t get enough. The location was perfect for us- close enough to spend time in Rome (an easy hour drive) but far enough away from the swarms of tourists. We loved exploring the nearby hilltop towns and had several delicious meals in Sutri. This villa is truly a masterpiece and we are already planning our return! Thank you Michaela & Paolo for sharing your very special place with us.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this spacious family-owned villa near Capranica. The home itself is stunning: exposed wooden beams, antique furnishings, and attention to detail throughout. Every room felt thoughtfully curated and was full of character.

The expansive yard and gardens are a highlight – with wide open views of the surrounding countryside. Mornings and evenings were incredibly peaceful, with nothing but the sound of birds.

The house was perfect for our group of six adults and two children – comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped. The hosts were gracious and welcoming, offering great recommendations for food and sights in the region. We also arranged for a private chef one evening, which was delightful. And there were many other activities available that we didn’t take advantage of, but would certainly consider if we return.

Recommended for anyone seeking calm in the Lazio countryside.

Our hosts were amazingly helpful and responsive - also providing great recs for local activities and restaurants, etc. Very spacious with lovely bedrooms and family areas, great huge kitchen for cooking and socialising. We loved it!

Stunning! The perfect place to relax and enjoy time with friends. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is perfect for cooking large family meals. Most of all, the owners are kind and attentive, clearly showing a deep love for the property. Will be back!

We are travelling Italy now for years and got used to rent a villa for 1-2 weeks and get family and friends together. After years of watching, but no luck with the timing (the villa was always busy!), we were fortunate to be able to rent Villa Trinita for one week the end of June, this summer. We were really stunned by the villa and the garden! This is one of the most beautiful villas we have ever been, the surrounding is beautiful. The villa is, as we learned, in family ownership and this is visible at everything. The quality of the estate, the furnitures, the equipment, ... you can find the best of everything you can imagine! The chef - kitchen (if someone likes to cook!) is a blast!||The closeness to Rome makes the estate a great base for exploring the capitol, getting some culture and a real taste of Italy, while one can relax and enjoy the sun!||The owners are very nice, helpful and are really watching the needs and comfort of their guests! We had a great time with kids, friends and family and really hope to be able to come back again!

You'll feel transported to another era when you step foot on this stunningly beautiful property. The owners have lovingly restored this beautiful villa to its original glory. If you let your mind wander you're really transported at this timeless property, despite all the modern conveniences. The home is well laid out and when you roll back the shutters you are hit with spectacular sunlight throughout the home. The garden is stunning and the pool area beautiful. We traveled as a family of four with two young children and had a terrific time for our weeklong stay. Michela was a wonderful host and very helpful with local restaurant recommendations and even finding us a wonderful babysitter so we could enjoy some adult nights out. If ever in and around Rome and looking for just the perfect retreat, you will not be disappointed!

We have just returned from a wonderful week’s holiday. On arrival the house met all of our excited expectations having seen the pictures before we booked. It is a beautiful house in a beautiful location with stunning and meticulously maintained gardens. The outside world and the humdrum realities of life felt immediately very far away. (We had wondered whether the relative proximity to Rome might have compromised the beauty of the area but we needn’t have worried.)
What we did not know then was how, as our stay progressed, the villa’s true old world charm and elegance would seemingly endlessly unfurl, revealing new delights. There’s nothing showy or ostentatious - simply class and carefully thought out design. The way there always seemed to be some shade to find by the pool; the crisp but not too cold pool temperature; the way just as in the afternoon the heat of the day was starting to become a bit too much, a gentle breeze picked up around the house; how the evening sun settles on the seating area by the house in time for an aperitif bathed in the rosy light of the setting sun; the lack of mosquitoes (really); and at night, despite the hot temperatures we remained cool and comfortable thanks to the house’s thick walls having kept it cool throughout the day.
The house is an old family home carefully and loving restored by Michela and Paolo. Their devotion to the property and their guests is what really set our stay apart. They are charming, easy going, efficient and straightforward to deal with. They managed to convey how important the house is to them and yet to instinctively understand the importance of letting us enjoy it as if it was our own during our stay. Yet, they simply could not have made themselves more available when we needed them. We were not straightforward guests. Covid restrictions meant we had to self isolate for 5 days upon arrival. Michela spent hours before our arrival making arrangements for food and wine to arrive, meals to be delivered and tests to be done - all taking into account various allergies and dietary requirements. Everything was ready for us when we got there and went without a hitch. For the period we were out of quarantine she booked a lovely restaurant for us and arranged for the chef to come and cook for us. Each were magical evenings. The chef created a wonderful meal which we enjoyed in the dining area surrounded by the beautiful gardens. To top it all, on our last day, when we needed to get medical help, Paolo took us himself to the local urgent care unit. Michela and Paolo were just utterly fantastic hosts - leaving us with a feeling of having been cared for and looked after as family friends rather than as part of a service to paying guests. They could not have been kinder or more generous with their time or attention.
Circumstances meant we had little chance to explore but glimpses of possibilities flashed by as we travelled to and from the airport (and the hospital) - the Etruscan tombs, Sutri, the lake. Rome is of course nearby. We left planning our trip back. A final moment of appreciation came whilst we made use of the pool beyond check out time to allow for a later flight. The house became a hive of activity with gardeners, cleaners; Michela and Paolo all working on getting the house ready for the next guests, demonstrating just how much work goes into maintaining it and offering what they do. Yet, had we not stayed beyond our check out time, it would have been completely invisible to us

Cercavamo un luogo dove rifugiarci nel mese di agosto e lo abbiamo trovato nella La Trinità, villa dalle forme molto classiche ed eleganti. |L’accoglienza dei proprietari è stata calorosa e piena di attenzioni, il parco meraviglioso, molto ben curato, circonda a 360 gradi la villa e consente di riposare lo sguardo nel verde in ogni momento. |La piscina e’ stata un ottima soluzione per i più piccoli e anche per noi, nelle ore più calde della giornata.|La cucina grande e super attrezzata ha reso divertente preparare i pranzi, le cene e i dolci.|L’ottimo gusto dell’arredamento degli interni completa i lati positivi di questa bella vacanza all’italiana.

Accoglienza gentile e professionale da parte dei proprietari e personale in questa antica casa storica perfettamente ristrutturata. spazio verde composto dal parco con alberi secolari e noccioleti, permettono passeggiate in pieno relax immersi completamente nell natura locale, con avvistamenti di fauna locale. pulizia, ordine, disponibilità, grande professionalità. Cucina piena di sapori.

We were looking for a luxurious retreat for all the family and we certainly found it in this classic Italian villa that has been lovingly restored by the owners. It was spacious, luxurious and very well equipped. We loved the original features, like the old marble basins, but also appreciated the modern walk in waterfall showers! The best of both worlds!||The gardens are huge and beautifully designed , overflowing with clipped box , roses, rosemary and lavender . The trees alone are worth a mention, lovely old cypresses and umbrella pines immaculately maintained and framing the views of the surrounding countryside. There were numerous sitting and eating areas which we used at different times of day, according to our needs for sun or shade.||We all loved the pool, especially our 2 year old grandson, whose parents appreciated the pool's firm fence and gate!||The owners were charming and attentive, a pleasure to meet. The maid service was much appreciated, as was the maid herself who was cheerful and efficient.||We had a mini 'Downton Abbey' experience one evening when we asked a chef to come and cook us dinner. He filled the kitchen with tantalising smells and then we ate the delicious results in the gracious dining room. We can recommend the experience!||All in all we found exactly what we were looking for, a beautiful place to stay that had everything we needed on site, from which we could make trips to the surrounding area if we could tear ourselves away from our little paradise.||It is worth mentioning that this area is much less visited by tourists than nearby Tuscany and Umbria, but has much to offer . We visited a magical clifftop medieval village, painted Etruscan tombs (a Unesco World Heritage site) and a Roman amphitheatre . There is copious information in the villa on all the many things we didn't get around to visiting.

Un luogo magico e incantevole , ottimo per trascorrere momenti di vero relax e base straordinaria dalla quale raggiungere mete vicine come Roma e Viterbo. La casa è circondata da un bellissimo parco con alberi secolari (alcuni arrivano addirittura a 350 anni) e da un giardino ricco di colori e odori magnifici curato in ogni particolare..||Ideale per una fuga romantica e strategico per visitare gli interessanti luoghi della Tuscia!||I proprietari hanno ci hanno organizzato una fantastica giornata durante la quale abbiamo fatto un giro in Mountain Bike della Riserva Naturale del Lago di Vico e dei Monti Cimini con una guida locale, poi siamo stati a pranzo in una trattoria dove il cibo e il vino erano davvero squisiti!! Nel pomeriggio abbiamo poi fatto un giro a piedi molto bello nelle faggete della riserva. Torneremo sicuramente quest'anno per ||Conserviamo ancora i profumi e i sapori del luogo nonché della strepitosa marmellata di fichi fatta in casa!Da provare!Un grazie speciale!

The Villa is absolutely stunning! It's clearly taken care of down to every small detail. It's quiet and cosy - private in all the right ways. It's the perfect setting for a yoga holiday: fresh air, surrounded by nature, healthy all throughout. The family who run the place are also wonderful and truly passionate about the place and about giving you the best possible experience. I will definitely be visiting regularly.
