Our experience at Verde Olivo with Irene(and with The Italian Planners) was absolutely outstanding! Firstly, the verde Olivo villa is absolutely gorgeous, and every detail of this historic villa was renovated with local products and made to keep the villas charm and beauty. Secondly, we spend 4 days there with our guests from all over the world to celebrate our wedding (along with a pizza karaoke welcome drinks night, a wine tasting and visit to a medieval town and the wedding celebration/New Years Eve), and everyone was amazed by the villa’s beauty, and how accommodating Irene was; everyone had the most magical 4 days at Verde Olivo. We ran in to some small issues with guests (lost luggage, an (almost) visit to the hospital, etc.) and Irene was extremely helpful and made sure all issues were resolved. Thanks to Irene at Verde Olivo (as well as her sister Claudia at The Italian planners), we were able to have 4 incredible worry-free days with friends and family in an absolutely beautiful location. I 110% recommend Verde Olivo ! <3

Our stay at this beautiful inn was nothing short of magical, and that’s largely thanks to Irene, the innkeeper and owner, who truly was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with such warmth and genuine hospitality that we instantly felt at home.

We were in town for a wedding—serving as both florists and guests—and Irene went above and beyond to make our experience seamless. She graciously provided us with space and assistance for our floral designs, showing a level of kindness and flexibility that is rare to find. Words cannot express how deeply grateful we are for her generosity and care.

The property itself is stunning—an ideal blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, from the beautifully appointed rooms to the pristine common spaces. The inn exudes tranquility and elegance, creating a perfect countryside escape.

Set in the picturesque hills of Verona, surrounded by small restaurants, vineyards, olive trees, and roses stretching as far as the eye can see, the setting is nothing less than a dream. I cherished every moment of our stay and am already planning to return—this time with the entire family.

My husband and I recently organized our wedding weekend in the Verona area. I am American, and he is from Verona, though he has lived abroad for years, so we knew our friends would be traveling from all over. When planning, we needed accommodations for about 70 people. In my search, I discovered Verde Olivo and immediately thought it would be perfect for my family and for guests who would prefer an apartment-style stay over a traditional hotel.

We visited about nine months before the wedding and met Irene, one of the owners, and instantly loved her. She and her family have created such a beautiful and welcoming space. During that visit, we realized Verde Olivo would not only be ideal for accommodations but also the perfect spot to host a welcome party for our out-of-town guests the day before the wedding.

Working closely with Irene, we developed an idea for the event. While my husband and I were completely absorbed in wedding planning and couldn’t dedicate much energy to it, Irene took our vision and transformed it into something far more magical than we ever imagined.

We are so grateful to have found Irene and Verde Olivo. Both the accommodations and the event were unforgettable, and our guests still talk about how special it was. I cannot recommend this property highly enough for anyone visiting Verona or planning a special event.

Nous avons y avons séjourner s'est un lieu magique. Nous avions un appartement avec 2 chambres 2 sdb spacieuses . Une cuisine et un grand salon avec canapé convertible complète le tout s'est parfait. Le petit déjeuner est fournis par l'hôte. Nous avons profité de la piscine et de l'endroit exceptionnel. Irène nôtre hôte est très serviable et sympathique. Nous avons également recharger notre voiture électrique une borne est dans le garage.

What a great place to stay for a few days of relax in a wonderful area of Italy! Our appartament was huge, confortable and very relaxing! The kitchen and the living room were larger than my entire house!!!! I was here for a weekend … but I’ll be back for a longer vacation! There are so many great places to visit in less than an hour driving!!!!!

Location a dir poco stupenda ristrutturata da poco con gusto e raffinatezza. Una vista sulle colline che scalda il cuore.Giardino e piscina che rendono il luogo, iddiliaco. La proprietaria Irene ci ha accolte con una gentilezza e disponibilità infinite. Anche per il Tour degli ambienti, molto gradito. L'appartamento 'Timo" pulitissimo, ordinato e dallo stile delizioso. ll letto comodissimo, morbido come poche volte in Hotel ho trovato. Dotato di condizionatore in entrambe le stanze e la doccia a dir poco favolosa.Complimenti per tutto ciò che abbiamo trovato e per l'estrema gentilezza di Irene.

Esperienza fantastica. Noi eravamo un gruppo di 8 persone e abbiamo alloggiato nell'appartamento Valpolicella: spazi ben organizzati, puliti e ben arredati. Biancheria di ottima qualità. Ciascuno ha la sua privacy e allo stesso tempo c'é possibilità di trascorrere momenti conviviali nella meravigliosa sala con camino (che abbiamo acceso e usato per grigliare tutte le sere!!!) . Irene e la sua famiglia sono persone davvero gentili e sempre disponibili. Sicuramente un bellissimo ricordo. Esperienza che consiglio e che personalmente spero di ripetere presto.

Awesome place!

I visited Verde Olivo with my family and friends during the holidays at the end of 2023 and we were all completely satisfied - the combination of coziness and convenience is unique and rarely found. The quietness and fresh air also deserve a mention.

The house is old, but renovated, modernly furnished, in a fabulous location, with a garden among the vineyards around.

Three dogs were also part of our company, and they loved the place too :)!

Irene, the landlady, was very kind and responsive, she gave us valuable advice and great directions to the sights and restaurants around.

We have no objections, we can only recommend to everyone who is planning a trip to Verona. If we ever go there again, we will definitely stay there again.

We hosted our wedding weekend with closest friends & family at VerdeOlivo1876 and absolutely loved it. Irene, Michaela and Claudia made our stay absolutely unforgettable!

Throughout the planning leading up to the day and the weekend itself, Irene took care of every little detail with great attention and made everything possible. We had dinner and breakfast at VerdeOlivo, which was prepared by Michaela and simply delicious. The property is fantastic and the apartments are all beautifully renovated. All our guests enjoyed their stay and even wanted more details on the beds and pillows as they were so comfortable :)

What truly makes the difference for us here is, how genuinely nice and caring Irene and the whole team are. We will always cherish the memories we made here and come back in summer next year to enjoy the pool!

What a lovely place to stay! Irene is a wonderful hostess and puts a lot of time and energy into keeping everything running smoothly. She is happy to provide tons of recommendations and made sure our stay was awesome.

The apartments have been restored by Irene and her family to perfection with comfortable details and designs. Everything is very cozy, including the beds. The shower is divine. The kitchen has all the basic amenities. The property itself is just beautiful (it was a little rainy so we wish we could have enjoyed it more).

We did swim at the pool next door. The cost is €5 per person, the pool is not heated but the kids enjoyed and had fun. It's a nice facility.

The Migross grocery store is small but has a really good selection and great prices. We loved taking day trips to Verona and Lake Garda.

Verdeolivo is awesome! My family and I loved it from the beginning. Irene is a great host and took care of everything you'd wish for.
The apartment is totally renewed and due to the AC very good for hot days in Italy. The garden is huge and beautiful. You also get discount to the swimming pool around the corner. Also they introduced a great breakfast for a great price. We'd come back every year and can recommend it to anybody

Hermoso fin de semana en un lugar increíble donde es posible moverse en bici, disfrutar la vista hermosa de las cumbres y descansar la mente. El sitio es una antigua casa totalmente amodernada con departamentos donde cada detalle ha sido cuidado por Irene que es muy simpática y atenta. Grazie!!
