There are truly no words to describe the gratitude we have for the entire team at Lake Garda Weddings. From day one, their communication stood out — they are hands down the fastest, most thorough, and most thoughtful emailers, which immediately gave us complete confidence in our decision.

We had only visited Malcesine once prior to booking our wedding, and even with that, we cannot recommend Lake Garda Weddings enough. Every single person on the team — Gwen, Deborah, Christina, and Sara — is the utmost professional, and we feel incredibly lucky to have worked with them.

We were hoping for a wedding that felt chill yet sophisticated, and they delivered beyond anything we could have imagined. I will openly admit that I am a bit of a control freak, and because of how incredibly organized, prepared, and detail-oriented this team is, I was truly able to let go and enjoy every single moment of the day. The entire day was so seamless — we had zero worries whatsoever because they were on top of every single detail, even the ones I didn’t realize or had completely forgotten about.

People always say it’s “the best day of your life,” which can be hard to fully believe — until it happens. Lake Garda Weddings is the reason we truly had the best day of our lives.

We are forever grateful and still find ourselves tearing up looking through the stunning photos Gwen delivered in record-breaking time — our wedding was on a Friday, and we received the full gallery by Sunday, that is just unheard of where we are from, we are from the US and it is very typical to wait 3+ months for photos back from a photographer. We were also so appreciative of Sara sharing video footage she captured. Being able to relive our day through both photos and video has been incredibly special.

We were thrilled with every vendor they work with — everyone was absolutely lovely. Our day included a castle ceremony, a boat transfer to La Voglia, and a reception at La Voglia with an outstanding meal. The DJ/saxophone player brought the absolute best energy — the vibes were unmatched. We also highly recommend the string quartet, who were fabulous.

They were incredibly accommodating to our family and guests. We traveled with our 1-year-old son, and we also had two other babies attending — everyone was so thoughtful and accommodating, which meant the world to us.

It truly was the best day of our lives, and we owe it all to the amazing team at Lake Garda Weddings. Endless gratitude to every single one of you!

BEST DAY EVER!! Planning a destination wedding can be stressful, but from the very beginning, Lake Garda Weddings made everything feel simple and enjoyable. From my very first email, the communication was excellent, and I always felt supported and reassured. I was able to visit twice before the wedding, and both times the team took so much time to show me around, answer my questions, and help me picture how everything would come together.

Deborah was an incredible planner who handled every part of the process with kindness, patience, and professionalism. She was always quick to respond and made planning a wedding from another country feel completely effortless. Gwen captured the most beautiful photos that perfectly reflected the joy of the day, and she delivered them only three days after the wedding, which was unbelievable. Sarah created a stunning video that we will treasure forever and spent time with us before the ceremony walking through the castle and ensuring every detail was perfect.

The string quartet at our ceremony was absolutely fabulous. They played beautifully and even performed songs I had chosen that were not originally on their list. I provided the sheet music, and they played everything perfectly.

I had many specific requests for how I wanted the reception to look, including the flowers, decorations, and favors. The team completely nailed every single detail! The room looked even better than I could have imagined. The DJ was fantastic and played every song I had requested, keeping the dance floor full all night. The food at La Voglia was outstanding, and the restaurant staff went above and beyond to accommodate every allergy and special request. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was, and the cake was perfect. The bar service was also excellent and made sure every drink request was prepared exactly as I had asked.

Our family and friends continue to tell us it was the best wedding they have ever attended. Every moment was seamless, and the entire day felt magical thanks to the hard work and care of the Lake Garda Weddings team. I seriously cannot recommend them enough. They will truly create your perfect day and bring every dream and detail to life. I will always be so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding the most beautiful and unforgettable day of our lives. THANK YOU!!!

Where do I start to review this amazing company and fantastic people. From the first time that Marcus and I both spoke with Deborah and Gwen we knew we were in the best of hands. From organising the wedding from the UK to arriving and actually having the ceremony and reception of our dreams the words we can use would be absolutely faultless and seamless. They are absolutely exceptional. We woke up on our wedding day with nothing to organise but just go along for the ride and enjoy every exceptional minute. Deborah was with us from the start to the beginning of our reception and there wasn’t a time when we didn’t know what was happening or had to do anything other than take in the breath taking moments that Maclesine Castle and Lake Garda have to offer – it all is truly breath taking. They made us feel as though we have been the only couple to get married here and that they were there just for us and us only as a one off. The suppliers that they recommend are all exceptional and really just cannot do enough for you. Gwen was our photographer and just wow, our photos are amazing and what fun we had creating them in what seemed like no time at all. We honestly believe we had THE BEST day of our lives and is truly down to this magnificent company and the fantastic staff within. They truly are the most amazing people I have ever come across to arrange the most perfect day you could ever wish for. If you are reading this review, and thinking of getting married here in Lake Garda, our only advice would be stop thinking, looking and just book NOW as we promise you, you would never be disappointed, trust us!! Sara, Gwen, Deborah and team were absolutely fantastic. We were struggling to decide where to elope and couldn’t be happier that we chose Malcesine.

Whenever we had questions, the team would respond within 24 hours and help ensure we knew how the day would unfold even though there was a time difference.

The actual day was perfect. We met the team in the morning and they walked us through how to pose, where to walk for pictures, where hair and makeup would be done etc. They constantly made sure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Then the ceremony happened and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Sara officiated our ceremony while Gwen took photos and it was a beautiful experience for us at such a magnificent venue.

Then we got home and Gwen sent over the photos right away so we could share them with family and friends. The whole experience was absolutely perfect and effortless on our part. At no time did we have any trouble navigating in a foreign country or felt lost. Gwen, Sara and team made our special day perfect and we can’t thank them enough.

We had the most perfect and special day through Lake Garda Weddings. I cannot emphasise how responsive, supportive and thoughtful the team were during the planning process. One relative was unwell on the week of the wedding and they did all they could to accommodate her needs. Christina our planner on the day was so warm, caring and stayed throughout ensuring everything was perfect, she was present but very much in the background. Gwen who runs LGW but is also the photographer captured the most beautiful memories - massive thanks to the entire team we could not have wished for a more magical day. Our wedding was so perfect thanks to the team at Lake Garda Weddings. From the first video call with Deborah, to the big day with Cristina, and Gwen doing the photography; we were made to feel so welcome and in the best hands from start to finish! So many people kept asking how we were managing with the wedding abroad stress and because of Lake Garda Weddings we had none at all!

Genuinely such wonderful people (and so patient with my many daft questions via email!) it was always a laid back atmosphere, nothing too much trouble and of course plenty of laughs throughout. I couldn't imagine a better planning experience, we joke that even a storm was no match for the team as we had thunder, lightening, sun and rain on our day which Cristina and Gwen coordinated around perfectly so not a drop ruined the day!

We are so grateful for our perfect day, we wouldn't change a thing, nothing could have gone better and we'd recommend anyone getting married in Italy to let Lake Garda Weddings create you the most magical wedding as they did for us.

We are from the UK and from the moment we got into contact with Lake Garda Weddings it has been so easy and plain sailing! They helped us with all our legalities on our end and stayed in contact up until the big day to answer any questions we had. When in Lake Garda we had the most amazing wedding meeting. They took us to the town hall, to pick flowers, showed us meeting points and took us to Malcesine castle to show us exactly how our wedding day would take place! Lake Garda weddings were everything we could have ever dreamed of and more. They created our dream day from start to finish, the whole process was so organised and detailed, yet relaxed and enjoyable. They are complete experts at what they do. Our guests couldn’t believe how great Deborah was on the day, she made sure everything was perfect and her attention to detail meant everything went smoothly. Gwen created the most beautiful photographs for us and the way Gwen, Christina and Deborah work seamlessly together just adds to the day. We had our reception at La Voglia with the DJ & Sax, which again, was perfect. The welcome meeting when you arrive in Malcesine sets you up perfectly for the day and gives you all the information you need! We didn’t want the day to end and we can’t wait to return to Malcesine, we can’t recommend having your wedding here enough and LGW are the best in the business to plan it through!

From our initial enquiry with them to the big day itself and the follow up afterwards, their service has been faultless. They have been prompt on responding to our queries and once we arrived in Malcesine we were blown away by how thorough the welcome meeting was. As for the big day itself all we can say is wow. On our wedding day we were blessed with the ever changing unpredictable weather, however after all our initial weather worries this did not impact our day at all, the team had contingency plans for every eventuality and the day ran without a hiccup it was seamless. I would say the weather only added to the day and ended up with us having a few added bonuses. Our guests have since complimented the professionalism and high standards of the team. A massive thank you to Gwen, Christina and Deborah. I wish we could do it all again.

It’s difficult to give Lake Garda Weddings the justice they deserve in this review. From starting the process almost 3 years ago, all the staff we dealt with went over and above to help us arrange our special day. They provided detailed paperwork and were always on hand to respond to emails quickly. We visited and were given a lovely tour and felt at ease throughout the entire process of wedding planning, which can be quite stressful. Deborah made our wedding day so special and did everything she could to make sure it went like clockwork, it felt like she was celebrating with us and there was absolutely nothing for us to worry about. Gwen was fabulous with the photos and had us posing in all different ways to get those perfect shots! We had the most perfect day, it was amazing! From initial communication, planning over 12 months, immediate wedding run up, the day itself, photographs all the way up to the post-wedding follow up, the team at Lake Garda Weddings were SUPERB!

We didn’t visit Italy whilst planning the wedding but Gwen, Deborah and Annabel made the planning process simple. The team are so knowledge and make sure the day is exactly what you hope it to be. We were provided with so many options to make our ceremony perfect and the team go above and beyond to help you with the more personalised touches.

Meeting Deborah a few days before the wedding was a pleasure. We spoke through the final arrangements, dealt with the legals and Deborah talked us through the timings of the wedding. We felt so at ease following the meeting that we could relax in the sun in the run up to our wedding. We also text Deborah with a few questions the night before the wedding and she went above and beyond to assist us.

The day itself was spectacular! The timings worked perfectly. The ceremony was magical. Gwen was a fantastic photographer. Deborah was amazing at dealing with logistics. The ladies at the salon who did our hair and make up were so skilled, we all felt amazing.

We had a private reception at Paradiso Perduto after the 5pm ceremony and it was perfect. Our guests commented to say the best wedding food they had ever had. The backdrop was stunning and the night ended with a bang in the form of thunder and lightening which caused some excitement but we were still able to stay out and keep dry under the gazebo.

I couldn’t recommend Gwens photography any more. We felt at ease, had a laugh and received the most stunning photos before our flight home a few days after the wedding.

When we think back to our wedding, we will always think of LGW fondly. Our day was made perfection by the team and we will be forever grateful. There is so much I have missed in this review but if you are considering using LGW, then you will not regret it!

Our experience with Lake Garda weddings was just fantastic! Anyone who is thinking about getting married in Lake Garda are in safe hands with this team of amazing ladies! They made planning one of the most important days of our lives stress free and enjoyable. Even though we were organizing everything from Ireland nothing went amiss,absolutely everything was taken care of.Our planner Deborah and our photographer Gwen were both so lovely and really put us at ease from the very beginning.Deborah took care of us & all our guests so well for the whole day and when we got home and went through the pictures Gwen took they blew us away,so beautiful! We started planning our wedding in 2019 and booked with Lake Garda Weddings for June 2020. We had to cancel twice because of COVID but throughout all of that, LGWs were fantastic and so accommodating in allowing us to rearrange everything. We finally had our day two weeks ago and it was beyond all our expectations. Annabel and Gwen are absolutely amazing at what they do.

Everything was perfect - the flowers, the reception, the boat trip, the ceremony, hair and make up etc. We had the most incredible day. We were both a little worried about the photographs but Gwen made us feel so relaxed and they’re the most beautiful photos of us all! Thank you so much. Lake Garda and Malcesine are so beautiful - I don’t think photos can do it justice! We can’t wait to return sometime soon x

Absolutely perfect. Thank you so much to Annabel for listening and giving us exactly what we wanted on the day - a simple beautiful wedding. And thank you to Gwen too for some absolutely fabulous pictures. The team at Lake Garda Weddings were all fantastic from start to finish. With having to cancel our original date in May due to COVID we were lucky enough to get another date in September.

I cannot stress how good Annabel was at taking on board what we wanted from the day and delivering it. I fear I may have been her first Groomzilla :) but after so much heartache with original dates it was one of the most perfect days in my life on the day.

The little extras like the tuk tuk wedding car and boat trip made a special day even more memorable. La Voglia restaurant for the reception was fantastic. All of our friends were blown away by the quality of the food and the beauty of Malcesine.

The ceremony itself was also very personal for a civil ceremony and we felt very welcomed by all the people of Malcesine.

Will pop in and say hi to the team when we return to Malcesine which we certainly will.
