Staying at this hotel truly makes you feel at home. The owner’s family is staying with you and taking good care of everything you need. only 5 rooms available, which adds to the personal touch. Every morning, we enjoyed a customised breakfast exactly as we requested, prepared with care. The garden and the view are absolutely amazing, creating a peaceful atmosphere. What really impressed me is how they listen to your feedback and fix it immediately, such attention and warmth make this place truly special.

Imagine that tou have a friend or relatice that happens to own XV century villa near Verona and tou are invited to stay over. That is exactly the experience you get if you stay in Villa Carrera. Marco is amazing and very careful host with great restaurant recommendations. The villa has been renovated with great respect to its history yet with all the modern amenities (AC, great water pressure etc). And Murano chandeliers and Moore heads, sculptures near the freshly built marble pool.. all in all great experience off the beaten track

I loved absolutely everything in this historic villa: magnificent halls and living spaces, authentic well preserved furniture, precious upholstery fabrics, works of art everywhere and wonderful Vivaldi music played in the morning; I loved every little detail in the Traviata room, which miraculously combines elegant historical authenticity with modern facilities; I adored the breakfast room, the elegant tables set with excellent bone china tableware, fancy crystal glasses and finest cutlery; the breakfast itself consists of the best quality foods; I loved the magnificent old garden which surrounds the house, with relaxing swimming pool under the ages old trees, which during the night turns in to some magical place with its illuminated sculptures and the cypress tree alleys under the full moon... But above all, the most amazing are the hosts, the very kind, very intelligent very cordial people, who preserve this magnificent place with love and attention to every single detail, and who treat their guests as royalty and at the same time as the dearest friends. Thanks a lot for the amazing stay, dears!

Buongiorno, abbiamo avuto il privilegio di soggiornare presso la Vostra meravigliosa, storica, elegante ed accogliente struttura...ci è sembrato di vivere in una favola, in un altra dimensione, in un'altra epoca dove tutto era come doveva essere, dove il tempo frenetico della vita moderna sembrava essere un lontano ricordo...peccato sia durato poco ma, di certo, torneremo per un periodo più lungo perché ci mancano le Vostre coccole e la vostra incantevole dimora nonché ospitalità eccellente, ci siamo sentiti subito in famiglia. Ci mancano persino i vostri alberi secolari, i maestosi cedri o i cipressi secolari sotto i quali fare yoga e rilassarsi con il cinguettio degli uccellini, un paradiso per il corpo e per l'anima, zero stress e tanta tranquillità. Voi poi siete adorabili, veri padroni di casa, veri Signori come non se ne trovano più. Grazie di cuore ❤️ Consigliatissima, a presto 🌹💯

A partire dall'accoglienza, calorosa e cordiale, ogni momento trascorso a villa Carrara è stato scandito da una costante sensazione di benessere: merito dell'eleganza della dimora, del buon gusto degli splendidi padroni di casa, della loro cura del dettaglio e della passione che mettono in tutto ciò che fanno per rendere indimenticabile il soggiorno nella loro villa ricca di storia, di ricordi, ma anche di una capacità di accogliere e fare sentire a proprio agio che a questi livelli diventa "arte dell'ospitalità"!

What a treat! Want royal treatment without the royal price tag? Look no further! This property is simply amazing, surrounded by a beautiful Italian style park. Every room in the villa is different and has its own style. The hosts were incredible! They were very friendly and provided everything that I needed. They gave me a personal tour of the historical rooms of the villa, making it feel like I had my very own palace. Every step you take there feels like walking through the pages of a history and art book. The property is spotless, blending charming history with modern touches. I highly recommend staying here, and I will definitely go back.

Location super!! È una residenza storica che ti fa rivivere nel passato. Tutto è molto curato, ordinato e molto pulito. Accoglienza molto cordiale da parte dei gestori e proprietari che ti fanno subito sentire a tuo agio. Luogo molto accogliente, ed è molto piacevole anche da scoprire con le sue stanze interne arredate con mobili originali dell’epoca. Avvolto tra le montagne si possono fare escursioni e fare degustazioni di vini prodotti localmente!!

We had the GREATEST time in La Carrera. It is simply beauty, elegance and style in a resting atmosphere outside of Verona, in Grezzana. The rooms are perfect, combining modern comfort and amazing taste with historical and super valuable furniture. Breakfast was very good and served in a gorgeous room. The Villa goes back to 16th century and every detail is carefully studied to perfection. There is a beautiful park with old trees and statues. This is the best place we’ve been in sometime and the most interesting historical house that you can stay in. It even has an actual registered church with original ornaments. Marco was the greatest host and we were so welcomed with true kindness and caring that it felt like home. Grazie !!!

Ho visitato la villa un pomeriggio di luglio in compagnia dei gentilissimi proprietari. La villa è una splendida dimora antica che il sapiente restauro ha riportato al suo splendore.Stanze spaziose e accoglienti con mobili antichi che riportano indietro nel tempo, ma che si mescolano alle comodità moderne....Il parco è vasto e ben tenuto con le rose rosse che danno un tocco romantico. La posizione è ottima sia x visitare Verona che Bosco Chiesanuova e i suoi monti.....Un posto dove riposarsi, con i 2 proprietari disponibili e simpatici pronti a rispondere a tutte le domande e necessità

Einfach nur: Wow!!! Eine wunderschöne historische Villa bei der man die Geschichte spüren und erleben kann, mitten in einer prächtigen, gut gepflegten Gartenanlage. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll und geschmackvoll renoviert und eingerichtet, mit modernen Bädern und allen Annehmlichkeiten. Das perfekte Gleichgewicht aus Historie und Moderne. Wir sind grade erst angekommen und fühlen uns jetzt schon wie zuhause, weil Marco uns so herzlich willkommen geheißen hat. Leider bleiben wir nur für eine Nacht, aber wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

This hotel sits on a very charming property with many beautiful flowers and trees, which gives great character. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and spoke very good English (my Italian is not great) 😁. The rooms are very charming and each one is unique with Italian history. The hosts were very accommodating and asked if we had any special requests prior to arrival. The villa is also very clean with some modern touches! The hosts provided many complementary treats along the way which really added to the value of the stay! I highly recommend to Italians and especially Americans who want an authentic Italian experience! :)

I would totally have a wedding here if I wasn't married already 😍

Eine wunderschöne Villa zum wohlfühlen. Die Gegend für diese Villa ist einfach gemacht. Die Zimmer sind fabelhaft. Es ist mit so viel Liebe restauriert worden, dass es einen nur zum staunen bringt. Das Personal und damit sind die Besitzer dieser Villa gemeint, sind ebenfalls freundlich hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich das macht das ganze einfach perfekt. Ich werde auf jedenfall wiederkommen und das auch schon sehr bald. Danke für alles.

Luogo d'altri tempi romantico e suggestivo. Una villa meravigliosa con arredamento originale dell'epoca ma perfettamente restaurato ed in armonia con i comfort moderni. La sensazione è quella di entrare in una epoca lontana ricca di fascino. I proprietari sanno mettere a loro agio e soddisfare le esigenze dei loro ospiti. Fiore all'occhiello l'eleganza e la cura degli ambienti. Nel grande parco puoi passeggiare indisturbato tra alberi secolari e goderti il paesaggio ascoltando solo il cinguettio degli uccelli. Da non perdere se devi soggiornare a Verona.

Un soggiorno stupendo. Villa curata in ogni suo particolare!
Stanze completamente nuove, ristrutturate e complete di ogni accessorio. Ambiente molto caldo, silenzioso e piacevole fin da subito.
Colazione a buffet sia dolce che salata dove non manca davvero nulla! Ci sono prodotti anche per intolleranti, vegetariani e vegani!
E sopratutto vorrei fare i complimenti per l'accoglienza.
Appena entrati in villa ci siamo sentiti subito di essere entrati in famiglia.
Inoltre la villa è "pet friendly", molto disponibili per le comodità del vostro animale.
Davvero complimenti per tutto! Posto meraviglioso!
