We chose Nicola Genati and his team for our engagement, rehearsal dinner, and wedding photos and video. From the very beginning, Nicola was responsive, flexible and organized. On top of all of that, incredibly kind. We met him a year before our wedding because we were in Italy planning and he was able to do our engagement photos which turned out beautiful even on a rainy day! Our wedding weekend was perfect and they captured every MOMENT! He and his team seamlessly fit into the background of your day you barely know they are there and when you do they are so fun and funny, they are a pleasure to be around!! The photos and video they created captures everything and while we are sad the day is over, we will be able to remember it all because of Nicola and his wonderful team! We could not recommend him enough!!!

Il giorno del nostro matrimonio abbiamo avuto il piacere di essere accompagnati da Roberto ed Eleonora. Sono due persone davvero fantastiche: precise, rispettose, educate, complici, discrete. Sono stati a nostra completa disposizione e hanno prestato attenzione a tutte le nostre esigenze con estrema delicatezza. Sono due professionisti che lasciano il segno e averli avuti al nostro fianco in un giorno così importante e’ stata la nostra fortuna. Le foto che hanno scattato sono davvero magnifiche, sono stati in grado in immortalare i nostri momenti più belli con una semplicità e un’eleganza invidiabili. Rivedere le foto ci fa tornare a quel giorno riempiendoci il cuore di gioia perché la profondità con cui i loro scatti sono in grado di raccontare, emoziona. Non avremmo potuto fare scelta migliore e ringraziamo Nicola per averci affidati a loro. Siamo certi di aver trovato un team fantastico e per ogni occasione ci rivolgeremo solo a loro 🥰

If you are looking for stunningly candid and real photos coupled with a photographer that makes you feel so relaxed and feel so incredibly beautiful - Nicola and his team are the best choice for you. We cannot thank Nicola and his lovely team enough for the service they provided on our wedding day. As people who are not comfortable in front of the camera - we were quite nervous about photographers and videographers being there. These guys instantly they made us both feel at complete ease and their warm energy allowed us to relax and enjoy our time immensely. We didn't want to leave cocktail hour for our portraits as we didn't want to miss out on time with our guests. However, the 20 minutes we spent in the olive trees, just the 2 of us and the team, is one of our favourite memories of the whole day. We basically just spent time the 2 of us and they captured the raw and candid emotion. I could keep going but I need to stop somewhere. Nicola and his team will capture your day PERFECTLY and they are a beautiful addition to the day as people as well as just vendors. 100000/10 recommend. Ho contattato Nicola tramite il nostro wedding planner. La comunicazione con Nicola è stata praticamente inesistente e all’ultimo minuto ci ha mandato due fotografi per rimpiazzarlo. Premetto che la località, sul lago di Como era bellissima e tutto era perfetto, ma sfortunatamente i fotografi non lo erano. I fotografi erano veramente degli amatori, non avevano idee, non avevano creatività e hanno fatto tante foto uguali, di pessima inquadratura, o troppo lontano, o troppo vicino, non hanno sfruttato assolutamente la bella location e i bei panorami. Abbiamo aspettato due mesi per delle foto imbarazzanti e orrende, non editate, non selezionate perché il Nicola non si e nemmeno disturbato a fare una selezione un po’ decente se questo fosse mai possibile. Tanta delusione e tanta amarezza per esserci fidati di Nicola e del nostro wedding planner nel nostro giorno più importante. Vi posso solo consigliare di fare più selezione e di non sempre fidarsi del proprio wedding planner per tutto l’evento e del primo fotografo che vi capita.
Che peccato!

We hired Nicola for our wedding on June 1st, last minute he sent us two replacement photographs who took amateur pictures that where either too close or too far, bad light, a lot of duplicates pictures, no creativity, no ideas, and nothing was edited by the photographers. We had to wait for two months for this very poor quality compilation of wedding pictures…very sad and very, very disappointing. We don’t recommend Nicola and his team.

Non potevamo fare scelta migliore

Ho conosciuto Nicola per caso, alla disperata ricerca di un fotografo per il mio matrimonio e mi sono innamorata dei suoi lavori non appena li ho visti. Non avevo dubbi, sarebbe stato lui a immortalare il mio grande giorno. Mi ha risposto subito e abbiamo organizzato una video call, essendo distanti. Mi è sembrato fin da subito professionale e preciso, ma anche simpatico e alla mano, in grado di mettere chiunque a proprio agio. Il giorno del mio matrimonio Nicola e il suo team sono stati favolosi, discreti ma presenti, e il risultato è un meraviglioso reportage, naturale e spontaneo, proprio come lo desideravo. Non posso che consigliarlo di cuore!

Let me just start by saying; Wow - We couldn't be happier with Nicola Genati and his team! They truly went above and beyond our expectations, capturing every moment in a way that felt unique to us. And they did so under no easy circumstances: A tropical thunderstorm threw our Sicilian summer wedding upside down (to say the least!), but Niko somehow managed to capture the magic of all the chaos and unpredictability in a way that was simply perfect. The (2000+!) photos tell the story of our day with such authenticity and genuine emotion that the rain, the delay, the mud, the getting married barefoot, still all came together beautifully. Their friendly and professional approach made even the most camera-shy of our 130 guests feel super relaxed and comfortable, resulting in the one thing we so sincerely wished for; beautifully natural shots. I can honestly say that hiring Niko and his team was the best decision we made for our wedding. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking a photographer who brings the utmost skill and passion, come rain or sunshine!

Choosing the right wedding photographer is probably one of the most important things we did for our wedding day, and we couldn't have been happier to find our perfect match in Nicola.

From the moment we booked him for our destination wedding in Rome, he demonstrated a level of professionalism and passion that set our minds at ease. He has an incredible eye for detail, effortlessly capturing our special day. The diverse and breathtaking backdrops of Rome provided the perfect canvas for him to showcase his talent. Best of all, he was so accommodating, kind, and understanding of what we wanted - he figured out a way to squeeze four historical sites into our photo shoot timeline despite hesitations from other vendors - and was willing to go above and beyond to make our dreams come true. He even sent us a few wonderful photos earlier than the contract, so I could have our wedding announcement post cards made and sent to family back home.

We had a lot of great vendors, but choosing Nicola was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. The stunning collection of photos he delivered exceeded our expectations and perfectly encapsulated the magic of our celebration in Rome.

Nicola e il suo staff sono stati fantastici, hanno saputo essere presenti in ogni momento della giornata, a partire dall'alba con i preparativi, fino a notte inoltrata durante i festeggiamenti, senza mai essere invadenti e adeguandosi ad ogni momento, a volte proprio non si notavano neppure e hanno saputo immortalare i momenti in modo molto naturale e spontaneo, senza intervenire troppo. Anche tutti gli invitati si sono complimentati per questo motivo. Inutile invece recensire le foto, che già parlano da sole e sono bellissime, così come i video! E' stato molto divertente anche il momento ritagliato per le foto di coppia e alla fine della giornata eravamo già tutti amici!

Nicola non fa foto... fa poesia. Ho conosciuto Nicola ed il suo staff in occasione del matrimonio di una cara amica. Gli scatti sono fantastici!!! Successivamente è venuto diverse volte in Villa Bono da noi sempre per wedding. Le foto sono uniche e hanno uno stile inconfondibile. Gioca con la luce come nessun’altro. Consigliatissimo!!!!
