When we first started the wedding planning process we met with Anna, who was warm and knowledgeable and gave us great insights on how to even start planning. As she had to step away for maternity leave, Laura stepped in along with other team members like Elena and Giada, everything remained on track and not a single piece of information or message was lost through the transition. The team was patient, knowledgeable, and consistent in their communication and guidance in helping us plan the wedding from overseas. Laura and Giada were present on the wedding day and the vision came together so beautifully. Two months have passed since our wonderful wedding in Borgo San Lorenzo. And my wedding turned out so beautifully that I'm still in awe. After deciding on a destination in 2023, we began searching for wedding coordinators. We interviewed with a few but right off the bat, we fell in love with Brillant Events and more so with Anna Gomiero. Ana was fantastic when we first started working with her, but Laura Maggiolo took over after she stepped away. And believe me when I say that Laura works miracles! As we handled late-night and early-morning calls from California, she was simply amazing and kept the peace. We experienced a devastating and unexpected loss in the family about a month prior to our wedding, which caused us to fall back in planning. Laura saw my vision before I did, so trusting her was not an issue for me. Giada was equally amazing, and we had the pleasure of meeting her when we got to Borgo San Lorenzo. I was astounded by how beautifully everything came together after they assisted with setting up the vendors, cuisine, and decorations. And because we had to change plans because of the weather, they accomplished it with little to no guidance.

Brillant Events' efforts and commitment to our wedding will always be appreciated. We had some difficult times near the end, so I don't believe I was the easiest person to work with, but I do appreciate their kindness and compassion. Without them, I could not have accomplished anything, and I hold a very unique place in my heart for this group. Although we had a more intimate ceremony, the team made it feel so special and grand by going above and beyond. We had a lovely wedding in Venice in October 2024 at Hotel Monaco and Grand Canal. The day of wedding coordinators, Francesca and Linda (I believe) were fantastic and the execution was perfect from the boats to transport our guests, the church ceremony, cocktail hour on the Monaco terrace facing the Grand Canal and our reception. We are so happy to see how everything came together so beautifully after planning it for nine months and primarily via email.

We met with Laura in Venice in January 2024 who showed us Monaco and Baglioni Hotel. She was one of several wedding coordinators we met with during the week along with touring several palazzos and other venues. We ultimately decided to choose Brilliant Events because of their relationship with the Monaco and from researching their previous events, which are beautiful. We also loved the history of the Monaco and they will allow live bands, which was important for us.

We primarily worked with Anna. She was helpful sending us quotes for different aspects of the wedding from transportation, musicians, photographer, videographer etc. We also coordinated a couple of video chats which were beneficial because communication via email can be tough, especially with a 9 hour time difference and a lot of follow up questions. We were provided quotes for different vendors that varied in price points, but we also found other vendors that fit more in our budget than some of the quotes we were provided. My husband had lived in Venice and had some connections which helped with that aspect.

We would recommend the team at Brilliant Events and are very happy with our wedding!

I worked with this company earlier this year and had the pleasure of working with Brilliant Events to plan a proposal in Venice, and I couldn't be more impressed. Giada and Gioia were instrumental in making this special moment unforgettable.

From the initial planning stages to the execution, they demonstrated exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and creativity. They seamlessly coordinated the gondola ride, banner drop, and logistics, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience.

I had hired a saxophonist to play during the proposal, and Giada and Gioia worked with him flawlessly to create a romantic ambiance.

The photographers work from the event were stunning, capturing the essence of our special moment perfectly. 100% reccomend adding that service.

After seeing their amazing Gondola Proposal videos on YouTube of their other clients, I instantly knew that was the way to propose to my girlfriend.

I contacted Brilliant Weddings about this service and Romena helped every step of the way and planning the whole proposal. The details in the proposal plan was immaculate.

Everyone from their team deserves an honourable mention from Liudmila who I met on the day who helped orchastrate the Gondola ride, lower the proposal poster and throw the rose petals as we went under the bridge.

The Gondola man who asked if he could take a photo of us right before we got to the bridge so that the poster would surprise my fiancé.

Michael Zennaro and Damiano Negri who were our photographer and videographer. Their photos and video were absolutely amazing and even better than what we expected them to be.

Brilliant Wedding is an understatement when describing our wedding in Venice, thanks to Linda and her exceptional team. It was not only brilliant, it was magnificent. The entire wonderful, perfect day happened as if by magic, with every detail attended to expertly by Linda and her incredible team to make our dreams – and some we hadn’t expected – come true.
Weddings are notoriously stressful and we anticipated many twists and turns but from our first enquiry to the day itself and beyond Brilliant Wedding made it a joy, even amid the covid pandemic rollercoaster. Having Linda and her team on board was like having a PA, best friend and fairy godmother all at once, organising everything with their extensive experience and contacts, impeccable taste, creativity and amazing professionalism. Whether you know exactly what you want, are overwhelmed by the options or haven’t a clue their vision, perception and dedication brings peace of mind as well as a stylish wedding.
Our dedicated planner was Myriam, who was incredibly attentive, responsive, friendly, warm and knowledgeable. As we’re in the UK, having someone to handle every detail, big and small, on our behalf, was invaluable. When covid hit this proved even more vital and Myriam steadied the ship through extremely troubled waters with empathy and compassion, reassuring and guiding us through what were anxious times for everyone. The constantly moving goalposts and even long periods of limbo meant a lot of extra work and flexibility, with repeated renegotiations, rearrangements and rebookings with suppliers, venues and professionals. However, despite a two-year delay because of covid Brilliant Wedding did not charge a penny extra, even though the pandemic must have cost them dear in so many ways. In fact, they negotiated with all the suppliers and professionals to ensure there were no extra costs and everyone involved was so generous with their time, experience and spirit to give us an affordable as well as unforgettable day.
The day itself was like a celebrity wedding without the price tag. Ours was a modest budget, yet Brilliant Wedding and the whole entourage of talented, world-class professionals they commissioned, from musicians to make-up artist, photographer to florist, performed miracles. Everything was exquisite, with surprises at every turn and countless extra touches and attentions, such that not only were our expectations far exceeded but so too were those of our guests – to see their amazement and joy was priceless. We were astounded by what we got for our money. We were also overwhelmed by the delight expressed by everyone involved; they clearly love their work and shared so enthusiastically in our happiness and in making our day so abundant with treasured memories.
We will cherish our experience with Brilliant Wedding. There is no way we could have done this without them and we wouldn’t have wanted to – in fact, we’re going to miss them!

Oh my! It was like a dream, a real movie dream. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I totally would, 5+++. I first started communicating with Brilliant Wedding Venice in Oct/Nov of 2019...YES you read that correctly 2019. We had intended to have our wedding 10-10-20 but a global pandemic and travel restrictions put that desire to rest. In August of 2019 we had to postpone our wedding to 2021. Fast forward to 2021 and I was still reluctant as travel restrictions were still in place. Thankfully they opened back up August-ish and we were able to travel to Italy. If you've never planned a destination wedding, it takes a tremendous amount of faith on both parties part--the couple and the planner. From the couple's perspective you're planning one of the most important events of your life with someone you've never met, never seen the venue, never met any of the vendors. From the planner's perspective you're planning and utilizing your resources for someone who you've never met and don't know their intentions or level of dedication. Linda is a true gem-->she is extremely dedicated, she's a great communicator and she truly has a vision and a talent. Linda and I communicated for 2 years and she took my vision, desires and dreams and made every single one of them happen. We had a detailed day plan, opportunity to select music & food options, it was extremely well organized. It was even better than I could have imagined! It was truly a dream, I couldn't be happier with our venue/location choice, hotel, hair and makeup and photographer. Everything was spectacular! Thank you so much Linda you are so talented.
