We had mixed feelings for this hotel. We booked two nights for two people in an attic room apparently, and as soon we arrived the lady said, you'd better take a look of the room because your husband is big and the room doesn't have a shower and the bed is small. She offered another room for 50 euros extra. We took that one for the first night and I really didn't like it. Old furniture without character, old carpets, nothing special. We told them we'd rather take the small one. The room wasn't worth 50 euros extra. Then it was breakfast, where you have to pay extra for cooked eggs. Depending on the eggs 7 or 8 euros. We didn't like that also. Now, the location...beautiful. But prices are too expensive for rooms that are outdated and not luxurious.

Veramente un menu accurato e leggero, dagli antipasti ad un ottimo risotto con limone biologico, colata di acciughe e capperi e, a seguire, un filetto di dentice molto buono.|Buono il prosecco e l'Arneis che hanno accompagnato la cena.|Un buon posto da ricordare.|Roberto55

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und das Personal sehr freundlich. Was das Essen betrifft überteuert. Spaghetti al ragu mit 25,00 € und ein gemischter Salat mit 15,00 € ist überzogen, wobei die Qualität passt.

Pros - |a) well-appointed room and bathroom;|b) lift to room;|c) secure off-street parking (however vehicle needs to be registered with local police or large fines can be incurred – reception did this for our car);|d) located on the town square; |e) choice of soft and hard pillows as well as a very comfortable bed;|f) close to bars, restaurants and attractions (the in-house restaurant was first class with terrace views over the town and surrounds);|g) no bus loads of tourists, mainly locals (hilltop town with extensive vehicle restrictions); and|h) reception and restaurant staff were fantastic.||Con - |None

This hotel is such a gem. Every person there, from the owners to the waitstaff, is gracious and warm. Excellent food in La Terrazza restaurant. Bountiful breakfast. Excellent service from start to finish. And I really loved the quiet luxury of the place. It is not “over designed” like so many 5-star hotels. Just beautifully elegant and understated.

This charming hotel in the heart of Asolo is absolute heaven. The owners Sylvia & Elena are very welcoming & insured our stay was perfection! Waking up every morning looking out on the beautiful town of Asolo was memorable. The restaurant is exquisite and the service is flawless. The room we had was comfortable and beautiful. House keeping was outstanding as well! We look forward to coming back!

L'hôtel est idéalement placé car il surplombe légèrement la place principale d'Asolo, tout en disposant d'un parking sur l'arrière du bâtiment. Ambiance chaleureuse et familiale, chambres sobres mais bien équipées, service réactif, calme absolu. Le petit déjeuner est bon, varié et copieux, servi sur la magnifique terrasse du bar/restaurant avec vue sur le village et tous les alentours. Bon conseils sur les visites à faire et les adresses de restaurants. Excellent wifi gratuit. Les prix restent raisonnables : 140 euros petit déjeuner compris au mois d'août pour une chambre single use. Je recommande donc vivement cet établissement, où j'ai d'ailleurs prolongé mon séjour tellement j'y étais bien.||L'hôtel propose aussi un restaurant, "La Terrazza", bien nommé car la terrasse en question en constitue un des principaux agréments. Bonne cuisine, un peu travaillée à partir des produits et recettes locales. Les portions servies sont un peu chiches pour les prix pratiqués, mais cela reste une adresse bien agréable pour un dîner panoramique.

The BEST hotel in Asolo! Silvia and Elena are wonderful! From the seem less check in to the perfect breakfast, everything was fantastic! Silvia booked my husband and I a wine tour and tasting to 2 wineries having lunch at the second one! She gave us dinner recommendations which were amazing! We ended up having a problem with our rental car the night before we were to leave for the airport, our car wouldn’t start. Silvia booked a taxi for us to get to the airport while she contacted the rental car company to have them pick up the car. She went above and beyond to help us! So gratuitous! Highly recommend Albergo Al Sole!

Beside the hotel being beautifully preserved, with a non ostentatious luxury that's apparent in all details, from the bedlinen, to the silverware used to serve breakfast in the room. The quality of the food offered is definitely worth a positive mention. The service received from the staff was exemplary and superbly friendly. ||So what can be so much more important to all the above that I started with 'beside', well let me explain; during my stay I had a kidneystone manifest itself. ||This is were I felt special, there was nothing that the hotel owners, Helena and Sylvia didn't do to accommodate me. From repeatedly calling an excellent team of medics and letting me rest in the room to the hour that suited me. They also had no problem extending my stay in high season so I could recover from the treatment. I felt well carred for and the truly tried to make me as comfortable as humanly possible.||All I can express is extreme gratitude.||A hotel to be recommended without hesitations even if they don't have to tend to a sick guest.

I would come back here for a third time in a second. I was here 8 years ago and the return trip was just as fabulous. I adore this hotel, the owners, the staff. The linens and water pressure were great, the bar and breakfast were incredible, the dinner was inventive and delicious. I love being right in the old town but a tiny bit away from the noise. Don't take a big car (we had a rental) as the roads are SO narrow. It was wonderful to have parking on site.

Unforgettable Stay and Dining Experience!|From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth and genuine hospitality. Silvia, Elena and their staff are absolutely amazing!!!|The hotel is impeccably clean, stylishly decorated, and perfectly located. Mi hanno regalato una notte all'albergo Al Sole e non potevo chiedere di meglio. La vista dalla terrazza dove abbiamo cenato e dove viene servita anche la colazione... favolosa!! La camera era stupenda, pulita e accogliente. Il personale è stato cordiale e attento alle nostre esigenze. Mi sono sentita coccolata. Anche la cena non è stata da meno: il menù buonissimo! Del risotto abbiamo anche fatto il bis! Un grazie alle titolari Elena e Silvia!!!

Asolo (Treviso ) es un pueblo como algún otro viajero ha descrito de calles empinadas sin mucho negocio turístico sin embargo no carece de un precioso encanto de la Italia medieval. Calles limpias, bien cuidadas. La preciosa Piazza, y las calles adyacentes son un verdadero lujo simple y claramente espectacular por sí mismos,un referente para los amantes de la fotografía, tanto en primavera como en otoño.|El Albergo de Asolo una verdadera experiencia tanto culinaria como de descanso ,el sumamente silencioso entornoes más silencioso aún si cabe, rodeado de naturaleza por la parte trasera.|Solo puedo decir que la atención fue sublime,la cocina digna de reseña y el descanso.Por Dios cómo definirlo, silencioso...La limpieza en el hotel, perfecta,la atención perfecta de hecho nos dieron a elegir dónde cenar en el interior o en la terraza y cenamos en una mesa con velas en la terraza.|Las dos veces que me he hospedado han sido por negocios,pero al final han terminado siendo un referente para volver os lo recomiendo. También os recomiendo su cocina local, exquisito producto fresco de huertas del mismo entorno, que dan un carácter expontaneo de fresco a la cocina de temporada. En las dos ocasiones he probado una el cordero y en la otra el pescado y en ambas situaciones he disfrutado verdaderamente. Venta de productos de temporada reseñar la huerta local entre la cual podemos disfrutar de verdura y legumbres locales finas y absolutamente frescas. Reseñar el cordero y la ternera en porciones generosas en platos no muy elaborados, pero exquisitamente presentados y sencillos. De todos mis viajes este es uno de mis referentes por varios motivos, no está masificado, el entorno es precioso no está lejos Venecia y es un hotel donde se puede ir a disfrutar y descansar sobre todo esto último descansar, porque es uno de los hoteles más silenciosos en los cuales me he alojado. Total y absolutamente recomendable 100%

Septiembre 2012||Al llegar a Asolo la impresión de la plaza principal resulta muy atractiva. En la colina al fondo se levanta el hotel en un sitio privilegiado. Se llega a un área de recibidor moderna y limpia, sin embargo, atrás de las frases de recepción se percibe una frialdad en el personal. Nos asignaron una habitación pequeña y obscura que daba a un pasillo de terreno que era el límite de la propiedad. Pedimos cambio de habitación la cual no nos fue concedida. Dejamos hecha una reservación al restaurante y salimos a caminar. ||El pueblo discurre prácticamente en una sola calle, que es la carretera que lo atraviesa, y debido a su terreno en la colina no es fácil caminarlo. Las calles son empinadas y hay unos pocos negocios que puedan resultar de atractivo turístico.||Al ir a cenar nos asignaron una mesa fuera de toda vista. Debo aclarar que el hotel tiene una terraza bellísima en el restaurante y pedimos que se nos diera una mesa en la terraza, donde sólo había una pareja. La respuesta era que estaban esperando un grupo, pero aún así se nos ofreció una buena mesa. La cena no merece mención especial. Llegó el grupo esperado de otro pais europeo, eran unas 20 personas, y prácticamente acapararon toda la atención y el servicio del personal.||Al día siguiente el desastre fue peor. Al llegar al comedor acababa de salir todo el grupo de la excursión y no había ni mesas limpias, ni comida. Fue necesario bajar a la recepcion a pedir que apareciera alguien para atendernos pues todos los meseros desaparecieron tan pronto el grupo se fue.||Para completar, entre la incomodidad de la habitación y la falta de luz, se extravió un teléfono celular. Se buscó en todo sitio posible y al dejar el hotel, conscientes de su desaparición, hicimos un reporte y dado que estábamos haciendo un viaje en carro en las cercanías, pedimos que si era encontrado por el servicio de limpieza se nos avisara para regresar a recogerlo. Aún estamos esperando por la llamada.||Hemos visitado Italia un sinnúmero de ocasiones, desde el Lago Maggiore hasta Sicilia y esta ha sido nuestra peor experiencia.||Italia es un país bello, lástima que algunas personas pierdan el concepto de que un buen servicio es el mejor recurso para atraer al turismo.
