A very special place to stay! This former monastery is in a gorgeous location in the forest. The views are breathtaking of the spectacular valley. The staff is very patient and helpful. The breakfasts are terrific. The historic building changes its moods throughout the day, especially in the evening. We recommend staying in the main building, on the second story. There are some very good restaurants that you will need a car to get to, for lunch and dinner. Spoleto is great for a day trip. Staying here is a one of a kind experience.

Questa immensa, misteriosa e affascinante struttura, meriterebbe 10 stelle. È stupefacente, quando arrivi non ti sembra vero di quello che ti aspetta.|Non vedo l'ora che riapra a Marzo per tornaci. Lezione di yoga in giardino bellissima.Cena al ristorante L Alloro buonissima!

Nel cuore della Valnerina, il relais Abbazia di S.Pietro in Valle è proprio un gioiello di arte e natura. È stato ben restaurato ed è gestito benissimo, con stile famigliare. Passare un paio di giorni immersi nell'incantevole natura umbra è un esperienza da non perdere. Le stanze sono semplici, ma curtre e in tutto l'ex convento ci sono divanetti ed angoli per leggere o stare in silenzio.

Ottimo posto dove abbiamo passato un fine settimana con un pacchetto compreso di SPA e cena al ristorante. Tutto ottimo pulizia, colazione e gentilezza dello staff. Sicuramente lo consiglio e se capito in zona ci ritorno.

The most beautiful and magical wedding venue in Europe! Our daughter and new son-in-law celebrated their wedding at this magnificent venue in August. The setting, the grounds, the views, the food, the service, the entertainment, the staff were amazing and wonderful. This amazing venue offers fantastic value for money. The peace, solace and beauty is breathtaking. Spend a night, a week, but go.

The most beautiful and magical wedding venue in the world! Our daughter and new son-in-law celebrated their wedding at this magnificent Abazzia in Umbria. The setting, the grounds, the breathtaking beauty of the area are simply stunning. The food was absolutely wonderful and delicious. Breakfast was lovely. The rooms are small and compact. The restaurant food is excellent with typical local cuisine on the menu. The staff and service are impeccable. This is one of Italys finest secrets. Visit and stay, I promise you will not be disappointed.

Location stupenda, oltre l'immaginazione. Dopo tanti anni finalmente sono riuscita a vedere un cielo stellato.
Ottima posizione per raggiungere i magnifici borghi della Valnerina; luogo tranquillo e immerso nel verde. Personale gentilissimo ed impeccabile, pronto a soddisfare qualsiasi richiesta.
Camere ben tenute e pulite.
Colazione meravigliosa: biscotti, confetture e torte fatte in casa, tutto fresco ogni giorno. Buffet ricchissimo per ogni esigenza.
Lo consiglio vivamente! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Een fantastisch mooie accommodatie in een oud klooster, wat nog helemaal de rustieke sfeer uitademt van toen. Zeer ruim terrein met zitjes in de grote tuin. Gastvrije en zeer vriendelijke eigenaars en staf.
Zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met veel Italiaanse lekkernijen.
Mooie groene bergachtige omgeving.
Wifi en mobiel internet was het enige wat binnen op de kamer wat minder goed werkte, denk door de dikke muren en afgelegen locatie.
Bij de receptie en buiten werkte het goed.

Siamo stati per la prima volta, nella suite dell’abate, la più bella che hanno,grandissima, comodissima,mega letto, bagno con vasca idromassaggio,frigo, pulizia impeccabile così come il silenzio immacolato. Gestione gentilissima, un posto da sogno.
Ottima colazione a buffet nel chiostro con tanti prodotti dolci e salati. Un esperienza da ripetere.Grazie infinite a Chiara

Conviés à un mariage, nous y avons passé deux nuits.|Le site est magnifique et la vue sur la montagne est à couper le souffle : un décor de rêve pour des épousailles ! |Notre chambre, quoi que propre et confortable, avait une allure un peu monacale et la salle de bains (où il ne manquait certes rien) était petite et assez peu pratique : si vous êtes très costaud et mesurez plus de 1,80 mètres, prendre votre douche devient un exercice périlleux.|Ceci dit, très bel endroit, bien entretenu et avec un vaste parking ombragé à proximité. Personnel aimable et disponible, petit-déjeuner simple mais dans la norme; même si vous n’avez que deux cafés maximum prévus dans le prix…|Possibilité de dîner sur place; comme l’établissement est vraiment très loin de tout, c’est plutôt pratique ! |Un très bel endroit; vraiment…

We had our wedding at the Abbazia this June and had the most amazing experience. Chiara and Federica were very helpful throughout the whole process, from arranging the booking to making sure our guests felt welcomed in every way. Everyone working at the Abbazia has so much love for the place, and you can tell. The abbey itself is absolutely breathtaking, private and peaceful. We would not have been able to plan this wedding from afar without Christina who manages the restaurant attached and was our coordinator plus catering for the wedding. She was there every step of the way for us. Her guidance with choosing vendors, help on the day and of course the delicious food made the whole weekend come together perfectly. All in all, we highly recommend considering this venue for anyone planning a wedding or even visiting for a few nights if you have the chance!

Very nice family owned hotel in a magnificent environment. It feels like being thrown back in time and the restoration of the building feels very authentic. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful for getting around in the region with plenty of tips to explore the area surrounding the abbey.

We had our wedding here in June of 2025 and it was spectacular. Chiara and Federica made the booking process easy and were very responsive, even though I didn't speak Italian. Maria Cristina did a wonderful job coordinating the events and vendors. The venue was absolutely breathtaking with the abbey, hillside, and fireflies at night. The whole staff was exceptionally nice from the cooks to servers to cleaners. One thing that took me by surprise was the welcome pizza dinner; pizzas were cooked outside in the string-light lit garden and were so delicious! I highly recommend the Abbazia as a wedding venue. My only note to any American couples is too plan ample time for the dinner (~3 hours) as this is going to be the coursed main event and not a quick service like most American weddings. But you will be in a beautiful cloister under the stars with loved ones and delicious food, so we really enjoyed a longer dinner. Thank you to everyone involved for making our wedding such a memorable experience.

Ho trovato bellezza, gentilezza, professionalità,un' accoglienza gentile e curata in ogni dettaglio.La mia camera molto confortevole con vista da sogno, la sala colazioni ricca di tante bontà, le sdraio nel grande giardino dove poter rilassarsi guardando il panorama sono alcuni dei preziosi elementi che rendono la Residenza d'Epoca Abbazia San Pietro in Valle il luogo ideale per rilassarsi ,rigenerarsi ,prendere ispirazione e punto di partenza per tante escursioni nella spettacolare Valnerina in Umbria, cuore 💚 verde d'Italia... Grazie mille di tutto
