We are beyond grateful to SPAO Borgo San Pietro Aquaeortus for giving us the wedding of our dreams. The venue is truly magical—nestled in the peaceful Umbrian countryside with breathtaking views in every direction. It was the perfect setting for an unforgettable celebration.

Planning a destination wedding could have been stressful, but the team at SPAO made it incredibly easy, especially Lorenza and Flavia! They were responsive, flexible, and always happy to jump on a call to talk through details. Their warmth and professionalism gave us complete peace of mind from start to finish.

The food was absolutely incredible—every dish full of flavor and made with love. Our guests still haven’t stopped talking about it!

We will always cherish our time at SPAO, not just for the beauty of the place, but for the people who made it all happen. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone dreaming of a wedding abroad—you will be in the very best hands.

Incredible in every way.
We don't even know where to begin... We had the pleasure of getting married this past July at SPAO, and it was everything we dreamt of and more.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to Anastasia and her Husband, Stefano, for owning and running such an incredible venue for our event from start to finish.
We would also like to thank Lorenza, Flavia, and Alessio for all of their attention to detail and thoughtful help during our 3-day wedding event. The entire staff takes pride in making your vision come alive, and we felt every bit of hard work that was put into each of our events over the course of all 3 days.
Last but certainly not least in any way, we would like to give a huge shout-out to Chef Leo and his entire kitchen team. With us both being part of the hospitality world ourselves, it was a huge priority that our food was up to a high standard at our wedding, and he hit it out of the park. Vi feiret bryllupet vårt på SPAO Borgo San Pietro, og kunne ikke vært mer fornøyde. Vi startet med en hyggelig pizza-middag på fredagen, etterfulgt av selve bryllupsfeiringen på lørdagen. Både mat og drikke var av topp kvalitet, og servicen var upåklagelig – vi ble virkelig tatt godt vare på av alle som jobbet der.

En spesiell takk til Flavia og Alessio, som gjorde en fantastisk innsats for at alt skulle bli perfekt. Vi var ca. 60 gjester, og alle koste seg fra start til slutt.

Vi gir stedet 10/10 og kan på det varmeste anbefale SPAO Borgo San Pietro til andre som vurderer et bryllup i Italia.

We celebrated our wedding at SPAO Borgo San Pietro, and we couldn’t have been happier. We started with a lovely pizza dinner on Friday, followed by the wedding celebration on Saturday. The food and drinks were excellent, and the service was warm and attentive – we truly felt well taken care of by everyone working there.

A special thank you to Flavia and Alessio, who made a fantastic effort to ensure everything was perfect. We were around 60 guests, and everyone enjoyed themselves from start to finish.

We give the venue 10/10 and can warmly recommend SPAO Borgo San Pietro to anyone considering a wedding in Italy.

Absolutely gorgeous wedding venue and b&b. The staff really went above and beyond for the couple and all of their guests. The food all weekend was delicious and fresh. The chef did an amazing job. The rooms were clean and super comfortable. It was so much fun to have everyone staying together and enjoying the pool! I highly recommend the Borgo if you are looking for great food, wonderful service and a stunning setting for your wedding.

This villa is a wonderful beautiful place with such craftsmanship that expounds on its already perfect setting. I didn’t have the opportunity to spend more than a lovely afternoon at this place of rest but was amazed all the better. I have traveled throughout Europe and the world and I love seeing great architecture in action. The staff was super friendly and offered us the best of its accommodations and the pool and views were mesmerizing. I cannot wait to return with my spouse and enjoy the lodging and amazing culinary experience the borgo is known for. If you want an amazing venue in central Italy for your private destination wedding please consider San Pietro Aquaorteus; it’s close to everything in Umbria and Tuscany. Enjoy!

After an absolutely amazing wedding weekend, we can only give SPAO and the team our warmest recommendations. Their level of professionalism, attention to detail and service is outstanding and resulted in our dream wedding.

Anastasia and Alessio are kind and dedicated hosts, and they have made our wedding feel truly special. Their presence during our wedding weekend secured that everything ran smoothly, and they thought of all the things that we did not ourselves.

The chef at SPAO, Leonardo, is incredibly talented and accommodating. He made all our Italian dinner dreams come true, and he took extra care of our one pregnant guest, so she could also enjoy the wedding without a worry. He truly makes the most incredible risotto alla milanese and tiramisu as well.

The wedding planning team at SPAO made the preparations for our wedding smooth and easy, and they answered all our questions and requests in the best way possible - they gave us a truly personalised wedding that in no way felt cookie cutter.

SPAO is a beautiful place kept in perfect shape, with the most spectacular flowers all around and charming Italian rooms for all your guests. We wish we could do it all again and highly recommend SPAO!

Borgo incantevole, perfetto per i matrimoni, sembra quasi di trovarsi in una fiaba.
Ho avuto la fortuna di alloggiare in questo borgo per un matrimonio, e se dalle foto sembra meraviglioso dal vivo lo è ancora di più, mi ha lasciato completamente a bocca aperta.
Il borgo si trova all'interno di un'area protetta dove è possibile fare lunghe passeggiate, cosa che consiglio vivamente per immergersi completamente nella natura che il borgo sprigiona da ogni suo angolo.
Durante il soggiorno sono stati tutti disponibilissimi e non ci è mancato nulla, la cucina è stata divina ed i ragazzi del servizio impeccabili.
Abbiamo fatto sia la cooking class che il wine tasting che non posso far altro se non consigliare.

From the moment I traveled from London to Italy and met Anastasia, I knew Spao was the perfect place for us. Her passion and dedication were evident from the start, and it truly shone through on our special day. During our next visit, we enjoyed an exquisite tasting menu for the wedding, sampling Leonardo's exceptional cuisine paired with perfectly matched wines.

The three days we spent at Spao for our wedding weekend were nothing short of magical. From the lively pizza party night to the beautiful wedding ceremony and the fun-filled pool party, everything was amazing. The venue and its team were flawless.

Stunning, beautiful place! The architecture and surrounding nature are just breathtaking. We've seen countless monarch butterflies feeding on the lavender growing all across the venue.

The Staff are all great, friendly and very professional people! The food and service was next level.

The most amazing wedding venue ❤️

We got married here in June 2024 and could not have asked for a better place. The borgo itself is stunning; carefully renovated with nice rooms, and all amenities you could wish for. Our guests were all so impressed when they arrived and very much appreciated the pool.

The wedding itself was spotlessly organized with the team at SPAO helping out wherever needed and worked seamlessly with all of our suppliers. The food and drinks, all arranged by SPAO, were truly incredible (people are still talking about the fresh mozzarella weeks after the event), and the team took fantastic care of us and our guests.

All in all, we couldn’t have had a better weekend and have only positives to say about SPAO, the only downside would be that as they only do weddings, we’d have to get married again to come back 😄

The perfect wedding location! My new husband and I got married here in April 2024 and we had the most amazing experience from start to finish. We had 40 guests in total who stayed on site at the Borgo and everyone was so impressed with the venue! We opted for a 3 night stay where we had a welcome meal for guests the evening before the wedding, the full wedding day and then a pizza party the following day. The food was spectacular and the staff were very attentive. The venue itself is also kept extremely well with perfect garden areas and clean rooms. Our wedding day was so special and we can’t think Anastasia and the team enough for making our dreams come true! Anastasia also hosted our ceremony for us and did an excellent job! We can’t wait to go back and visit the Borgo in years to come to reminisce on the best weekend ever!

Soggiornato qualche mese fa in questo fantastico borgo, in occasione di un festeggiamento aziendale, ho passato due notti e tre giorni meravigliosi, cullato dal silenzio e dal comodissimo letto. Ho apprezzato tanto la cortesia dello staff, dal check in, colazione, pranzo, cena, servizi fino al check out voto dieci. Il borgo è immerso nella natura, con bosco alle spalle e vista panoramica incredibile goduta dagli spazi esterni comprensivi di piscina e tanto verde attorno.
Complimenti a chi gestisce e mantiene questo fantastico posto.
Di sicuro ritornerò.
