Attualmente è chiuso, si può visitare il luogo e vedere l'abbazia ma solo da fuori. Il posto è bellissimo, con natura e un lago artificiale molto pittoreschi.

Just realized I could have written about the Abbey in 2019 (it was august) , when I participated a Speak language conference in this lovely home and visiting complex of the Abbey, and buildings in the area. |Staff and owners were so friendly, welcoming and atmosphere happy and caring. Gardens and the surrounding nature is a bliss - as was the blackberries which I ate every trekking trip!|Our program was tight and it took most of the time but the whole abbey is full of wonders of Art, there is so much of interest to the eyes...|If you ever have a chance, go and see it yourself - I think its only open for groups and happenings, but always worth to ask.

I was fortunate to be selected as a participant in an English immersion program that took place in August 2019. What a wonderful experience ans what a delightful location for the week. The accommodations were great with a nice room and bathroom. The food was over the top and excellent. We had the run of the place and there were many lovely rooms to meet in during the week with beautiful artwork throughout the multiple buildings. The owner was a delightful hostess and always could be found walking with her two small dogs... The Abbey is from the 11th century and beautifully restored with walking paths ans a lake to walk around. Beautiful peaceful sunrises and sunsets each day...

I stayed a week at the abbazia in August, when I took part in a Speak in Italy English language immersion programme. This was a brilliantly-organised programme in a fantastic, peaceful location. It is an ideal location for such a programme : extensive grounds for 1-1 walks, many communal rooms with comfortable seating, a nice herb garden...We had excellent meals with great seasonal vegetables and salads, served by friendly staff. An amazing experience.

Bellissimo "resort" situato in amena zona collinare a poca distanza dall'uscita autostradale di Chiusi. È formato da un corpo di fabbrica principale risalente all'inizio dello scorso millennio, che comprende anche, ovviamente, una piccola chiesa, e da varie dependances ubicate nei dintorni. Il tutto perfettamente restaurato ed arredato con raffinata eleganza. Posto adattissimo per eventi e ricevimenti. Ci sono stato in occasione di un matrimonio. La gestione diretta dei proprietari ha aggiunto cortesia e professionalità ad un'organizzazione impeccabile. Menù eccellente di specialità e vini locali. Dotato anche di una piccola piscina e, per chi ne avesse il tempo, possibilità di visitare le numerose attrazioni della tenuta, tra cui un piccolo lago naturale.

I had the opportunity to experience a week at this ancient abbey in March of this year. It will be remembered as a highlight of my life for years to come. Speak In Italy, an English immersion course was held there in March/April and I was fortunate enough to be included as an anglo (English speaker) in the group. For one week I lived where the monks lived, but certainly not in the manner in which they would have lived. The Abbazia and itis surrounding buildings are amazing in every aspect. But the food is even better, and the staff better than the food!!! Highly recommended for anyone seeking a real Italian experience away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist cites of the country.|

We rented one of the property’s farmhouses, La Cerchiaia, for a week with friends. The entire property has been carefully renovated: adding modern amenities like private swimming pool, dishwasher and washer, while preserving the centuries-old character of the buildings. Terrific location for exploring Tuscany’s hill towns: Montalcino, Montepulciano, Arezzo, Pienza, Siena etc. Short drive to Pam Market in Chiusi for fresh food. We paid for the housekeeping option and it was well worth it- they did thorough job daily. WiFi worked well. Beautiful runs around the property with stunning scenery and wildlife including deer, pheasant.

A medieval abbey converted into a facility for collective contemplation that preserves the ancient character of the place at its best but furnished in contemporary style with modern amenities of indoor heating, cosy rooms, with indoor temperatures maintained at a very comfortable 20C. And stupendous food!... The place is too remote to go buy a snack which you will never need. The sumptuous breakfasts have a heap of fruit, cheeses and home-made pastries, besides hot made-to-order omelettes as well as cereal, and yoghurt and juices. A large range of wholesome dishes served at meals including traditional Tuscan ones, ending with superb desserts, and laced with homemade red, white and dessert wines. Vegetarians have no trouble at all and they would even make a basic dish to order for vegans. Spacious warm spaces to sit around, and outside as well for when the weather is good. People who cannot be accommodated in the main Abbey are housed in nearby farmhouses that could be between 15-30minutes of walking from the main Abbey. The staff are extraordinarily courteous.

Nous sommes restés 5 jours, un groupe de 40 personnes. Les chambres agréables (le chauffage trop élevé dans certaines chambres), les repas excellents. Nous avons eu un problème implicant une consultation a l hôpital. L abbazia nous a envoyé une voiture avec chauffeur pour nous aider dans les trajets. Puis nous a réclamé de payer ce service, sans nous l avoir annoncé à l avance! Ils n ont pas proposé de couper la note en deux, nous avons tout payé alors que ça ne représentait même pas un demi pourcent de ce que les participants à la conférence leur avait laissé pour les 5 jours. Aucun geste commercial à attendre donc de la part de cet hôtel en cas de problème. Relation très désagréable avec la responsable de l abbazia. Dommage car le reste des prestations était bien.

I would like to thank Beatrice and the entire Staff of Abbazia di Spineto for helping me organize and realize the most beautiful wedding I could have hoped for. The location is stunning and every detail was realized just as we asked for or better. We rented the entire Abbazia in exclusivity and two Houses, which gave us a lot of flexibility to organize different events and settings. We were looking for a place with "personality", different from a "regular" hotel and we could not have been happier with our choice. Many of our italian and international guests also told us this was the best wedding they ever attended.||Grazie!!|Serena and Daniel

Di passaggio per raggiungere Radicofani, abbiamo visto l'insegna che indicava l'abbazia e abbiamo deciso di andare a vedere! luogo incantevole, paesaggio incredibile nella quiete di una bellissima campagna toscana incontaminata!|Il posto è stato trasformato in agriturismo con diversi appartamenti, dalla fattezza si capisce che una volta era un vero gioiello con grandi spazi dedicati ai cavalli!!!||

Location carina e caratteristica in un posto isolato dal mondo dove fa fatica pure il cellulare a tenere la linea. Molto bella la corte interna anche se in inverno col freddo che faceva era difficile stare fuori anche sotto i funghi riscaldati. Stanze ben curate e pulite purtroppo non molto riscaldate. Colazione mediocre, pranzo ottimo e abbondante. Sinceramente mi aspettavo qualcosa di più visto le recensioni.

Bellissima location in una campagna affascinante. Siamo stati qui diverse volte ma per questa fine anno non abbiamo trovato più la colazione, il servizio di pulizia e il famoso pranzo di capodanno della Contessa. E senza tutto questo, in pratica, si affitta solo un casale in Toscana con molti insetti e con il forno inutilizzabile perché altrimenti affumica le stanze. Rispetto al passato un passo indietro. Peccato.

It was a real treat to stay in this thousand-year-old abbey, which has been beautifully restored by its current owners. Our rooms in the main building were very spacious and clean and we also had the use of a sitting room with comfortable sofas and cushions and lots of books. We had delicious breakfasts of fruit, yoghurt, cheeses and hams, homemade jams and cakes, etc sitting around a large table with the other guests making us feel as if we were having breakfast with friends!... The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving great advice on restaurants and places to go. The Abbazia di Spineto provided a truly tranquil break and a chance to enjoy some majestic scenery.

Posto meraviglioso. Unico per che ama il silenzio ed il relax. Un'abbazia millenaria in una valle da favola. Ospitalità eccezionale. Dalla Sig.ra Marilisa non si è considerati dei clienti ma dei vecchi amici. E la mattina una colazione principesca. Da consigliare per eventi e matrimoni nella bellissima chiesetta collegata all'abbazia. Nonostante sia di lusso prezzi abbordabili.||Nelle vicinanze il Borgo di Sarteano con le tombe etrusche ed i bagni di San Casciano Terme.

Soggiornato nel fine settimana causa matrimonio, molto impegnativo, di amici!!!|L'abbazia è molto bella, arredi, paesaggio, personale e cucina; il casale era composto da diverse camere per lo più con letti singoli ed essendo tutte coppie non è stato un granché.|Unica pecca la quantità di insetti che si addentra nella casa se si dimentica la porta aperta; se si soggiorna in compagnia si mette in conto.|Piscina del casale freddissima!!!

È' stata la prima volta che ho soggiornato qui per una convention aziendale. Magnifico luogo con bellissimo paesaggio e dai silenzi che si ha la,fortuna di godere. Fantastico guardare all'insù la sera con cielo sereno tempestato di stelle non essendovi molte luci artificiali. La Toscana riserva sempre sorprese ma questo luogo ( che spero si mantenga così ) ti aiuta a pensare e a rilassarsi . Lo,consiglio a tutti.

I visited this Abbey converted into a meeting facility in early May, 2015. It is located on the top of a hillside surrounded by rolling hills and meadows for dozens of acres around. It is very quiet and an ideal place for a small to medium-sized group to gather for a meeting and deep contemplation. Each room is uniquely finished in a way to preserve as much of Abbey's original features, but to add many modern amenities. There is limited wifi - but it was really nice to be disconnected for most of a weekend. The staff there was great and the meals were really outstanding. But the really selling point is the location itself in the Tuscan countryside!

I have been there for a Congress. ||The place is very nice, surrounded by woods and nature. The middle ages abbey and the ancient residences have been restored, respecting their original shape. This was formerly a monastery to work and pray and still today people gather together to discuss topics, far from the noise of the city. The silence during the night is really impressive. ||Very good local cooking with plenty of traditional Tuscan dishes. Very often they set up "itinerant dinners" with many courses served in the various rooms of the ancient residence. ||Some small logistic issue in case of large groups, because the estate is huge and the houses with the accommodations are pretty distant from each other.
