Our favorite so far in Tuscany! Family travel (kids 13 & 6). Apartment (#8): beautiful, big and clean! Full kitchen with all you need (dishwasher!). Pool: we are now big fans of biological pool and our kids loved it! Big, clean water and natural - no chlorine smell. The views from the pool are amazing. You actually have views all around. Peace, quiet and away from it all. But also in best location, just 8min from Poggibonsi with supermarket (Coop the best), bakeries (Denni & Gianni is a nice one!), gelato (Dandoli is the same one as in San Gimingiani). Convenient to San Gimingiani, Siena and Florence. Tenuta is up on a hill, so 3 min drive uphill, but then you're on top of it all in the most serene place!

Absolute gem of an accomodation! It is like a true Tuscan dream.

Even though so far less then half of the whole Tenuta is renovated. But the part is done is very lovely - the rooms are beatufil, spacious and well furnished with ample common space (terrace and laundry room).

The biolago (pool) is amazing and we spent time there every aftrenoon during our stay. It is refreshing and offers great views over the countryside.

Andrea (our host) was very friendly and welcoming and helped us with every request and answered every question.

The location is very convenient - it is right next to Colle di val d'Elsa and Monteriggioni and 30 minutes to Sienna and San Gimignano. There is a big supermarket in Poggibonsi where you can load up on Italian food and wine and then enjoy it on the terrace enjoying the ambience.

Nous voulions faire un séjour en haut de ces élégantes collines toscanes ponctuées de cyprès, loin des touristes . Je n'ai pas été déçue, l'accueil est extrêmement chaleureux, on y parle si bien le français, ....beaucoup d'élégance qui cache tellement de travail, pour que vous y soyez heureux ....Merci et Bravo !

Le domaine est situé dans un emplacement exceptionnel à proximité de Poggibonsi. Calme et tranquillité. Les appartements sont spacieux et très bien équipés. Un accueil sublime par les propriétaires, très attentifs à vos besoins, multilingues, ayant une excellente connaissance de la région. Tout a été parfait dans ce séjour d'une semaine. Merci beaucoup.

Our stay at Tenuta di Megognano was a truly unforgettable experience! Nestled in the heart of Tuscany, the property offers stunning views, beautifull gardens, and a serene atmosphere. The accommodation was comfortable and charming, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. The owners were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure all our needs were met.
The surrounding area is perfect for wine tasting and exploring quaint villages. We highly recommend Tenuta di Megognano for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the Italian countryside!

È vero si tratta di un posto un poco isolato, senza senza auto quindi non vai da nessuna parte.
Per quanto mi riguarda però ho amato il silenzio e l'isolamento, va quindi specificato che per chi cerca la mondanità non è il posto ideale.

Detto questo siamo stati accolti con estrema cortesia. La signora Flaminia è una persona squisita che ha soddisfatta ogni nostra richiesta.

Le camere perfette, tutto molto pulito e malgrado la temperatura esterna, dentro casa si stava benissimo.

Stra consigliato, noi torneremo di sicuro!

Siamo stati ospiti della Tenuta di Megognano nella valle del Chianti ed è stata un'esperienza fantastica! La struttura è estremamente accogliente così come la famiglia di Flaminia e Luigi, persone di rara generosità ed ospitalità. Il paesaggio che ci accoglie appena arrivati è mozzafiato e ti catapulta quasi in un mondo antico fatto di tranquillità e serenità lontano dalla freneticità cittadina. Gli appartamenti appena ristrutturati sono pieni di colori in una fusione perfetta tra il vecchio e nuovo. Tanto verde intorno. Dalla Tenuta sono facilmente raggiungibili Siena, San Gimignano, Certaldo e le bellissime Terme di Rapolano.
Certo il progetto di Flaminia e Luigi è molto ambizioso e tanto ancora c'è da fare, ma sono sulla strada giusta e sicuramente riusciranno a rendere questo luogo ricco di storia ancora più interessante ed invitante!! Grazie Flaminia e Luigi per la bella esperienza assolutamente da ripetere!!

Where do I start? The location is perfect for exploring all of Tuscany as it sits in a very central location in the region. The Tenuta is extremely charming and rustic, and the views of the surrounding hills are incredible. There are nearby towns a short drive away for supermarkets and restaurants.

The apartment we stayed in (number 8) was spotlessly clean and the rooms were ginormous! The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you could possibly need. We stayed in November and the heating kept the place nice and warm despite the high ceilings. The apartment was relatively modern but still very charming. The bathrooms were especially nice!

The highlight of the stay was the hosts, Andrea and Flaminia. Andrea met us late in the evening to make sure we got checked in okay. He and Flaminia bought breakfast to us every morning and even shared a great restaurant recommendation which we tried on the first night. They were so welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. I have zero complaints about Tenuta di Megognano, the most perfect place to stay in Tuscany!

Great place with a beautiful view.
Quiet and peaceful. In the area you can go for walk with beautiful view of Hills, vineyards and Olive trees. Very friendly and helpful hosts that really care about their guests.
