We stayed with our Daughter and her spouse. This wasn't a single building, mind you; it was a complex in what had been a small, abandoned medieval town until about seventy years ago, when the current proprietor’s great-grandfather bought it and renovated it. There were multiple buildings with one or two-bedroom mini-apartments (stocked with several bottles of Chianti, of course). It sat on a hill overlooking vineyards (it's almost impossible not to be overlooking vineyards in Tuscany). A tucked-away laundry room was very useful, and the wandering dogs and cats were fun. The original Chapel is there and worth a visit.

Absolutely magical place to stay. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful, and every detail feels like it came straight out of a Tuscan dream. We felt so welcomed and cared for—it was the perfect mix of charm, comfort, and beauty. Already dreaming about coming back.

Wonderful place to stay outside Siena, Italy. Good variety of rooms. The views over the vineyards are great. Breakfast was wonderful. Enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying the view. One night we had a barbeque with the other quests which was a nice touch. Another night you had an option to help make an Italian dinner and then eat it. There are also some lovely, quaint restaurants nearby. We rented a car. One day we went to Castle Brolio which is about 5 miles away. It is the home to Chianti Classico. Another day we drove down to Montelcino to do a tour of a Brunello winery. Then we drove over to Montepulciano for lunch and more wine tasting. Our last day we drove up to Florence. There is a large carpark outside of Florence where visitors need to park and then take the tram into Florence. It ends near SME (the main train station in Florence near all of the sites) If you rent a car, heads up, the rounds are windy. I thought we were going to ride bikes to wineries in the neighborhood but the roads are very narrow and don't have bike paths. My only suggestion to the owners is to put up shower curtains around the tubs. I'm 5'2" so sitting in the tub showing was too inconvenient but for a 6'4" guy it is. We had to wipe up the floors everytime we took showers. Also extend the timer on the lights in the hallway. We stayed in the Maria Suite. It always went out before I reached my door. Thanks.

Our stay was magical! We felt like we were in a hallmark movie. The location was perfect, Gabriele was so helpful with recommendations of things to do, helping us rent the e-bikes and answering questions about the property and surrounding area. Grounds were beautiful and perfect for relaxing. We only wish we stayed longer. We also loved that they offer local bottles of wine and ice cream for purchase on the property and we drank/had several. Plan in advance for food and i recommend bringing some snacks as you are in the countryside. There’s plenty of dinner/lunch places within a 15 minute drive but we wish we had more snacks for the room for in between. Most of the other guests were couples/honeymooners,which fit the vibe of the property, and it was fun to get to know them. Overall highly reccommend!

We couldn’t speak more highly of our stay at Borgo Argenina. The room was decorated so cute with an outlook to the vineyards. There was a sitting room in between the bedroom and an another shared space so it was quiet and felt really private. We stayed in the ‘Anna’ room. The bathroom was clean and we loved the bathtub. The bed was very comfortable, perfectly firm and the pillows were great too.

The shared amenities such as the kitchen, outdoor sitting spaces and the pool area were each so lovely to sit at, especially the lounge chairs around the pool with a refreshing drink or ice cream you can purchase quite cheap from the fridge on the property.

A particular highlight for us was the breakfast buffet each day and the coffee machine. We also highly recommend the cooking class offered.

We had a car for this area which was very helpful to get around, and visit some of the recommendations that were provided. I would only stay here in the future!

Lovely place in a beautiful location. Our cooking class with Elena was great! Although having a pool was not a requirement when we were deciding where to stay, we ended up using it one of the days to help beat the heat. Several wineries within just a few kilometers.

We (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed in La Pieve. Our visit was perfect, with postcard views out every window of our rooms. This was a great home base for trips to Siena and Florence. We enjoyed using the e-bikes as well as hanging out by the pool. We loved the cooking class and a pizza party that was put on one night for all the guests.

lovely lovely spot under the tuscan sun and i loved being in chianti. can take taxi from siena to pieve marsina + borgo argenina for around 40euros. to return will cost around 65-70euros. ||TUSCANY must be on your bucket list. ||recommend booking directly instead of airbnb (bc then breakfast is included!)||though elena is no longer at the property, the folks who run the pieve + borgo are professional and kind and will help when you ask for it and within their abilities. they provided a list of lovely restaurants as well. communication via whatsapp. charming. ||the breakfast is wonderful and the women who work the morning so very charming. ||the e-bikes really fun. ||the evening planned events are kind of them to host. ||*my biggest recommendation: must have a car here if staying >2-3 days. remember to look into what you need to rent a car in italy before you leave home. *||i look forward to returning.

We had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Pieve Marsina & Borgo Argenina. As soon as we set foot on the property we realized we should have spent our entire trip there. It’s difficult to properly articulate the serene beauty of the lovingly restored buildings and meticulously maintained surrounding property. They obviously work very hard to keep it as manicured and beautiful as it is. The pool area is wonderful and very relaxing. The private jacuzzi room is a must-do for couples. Tons of different areas around the property to sit and relax privately with a bottle of wine and a meat and cheese board. Highly recommend visiting the very modern co-op grocery store (ample free parking) in Siena to stock up on grocery supplies. We stayed in the Maria suite, it was charming and beautiful as described with a very comfortable and roomy bed. Breakfast is a highlight of this place. Freshly prepared varieties of both sweet and savoury items, including made-to-order eggs and crepes. The standout experience for us was the cooking class, which was well worth the cost.

Picturesque Italian villa nestled among the vineyards. So beautiful. Old world charm, kitchen with coffee, tea, local soft drinks beer and wine. Breakfast included, with croissants, baked treats, coffee machine with a variety of options, eggs and crepes. The pool area was very relaxing and peaceful. Electric bikes were fun, with the ability to rent for half day. Cooking class was entertaining and fun, dining on our creations with Prosecco and wine. We must go back!!! And the owners and staff were amazing!!!

A truly lovely experience in a picturesque villa in Tuscany. The room and property are idyllic. Breakfast is delicious. The owners ensured we were comfortable and well taken care of. They have great recommendations for local activities such as wine tasting and places to dine. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed running in the area. Pieve Marsina & Borgo Argenina was my favorite stay during this trip to Italy. I look forward to my return.

El lugar es exactamente como habíamos visto en las fotos. Lindísimo!||El paisaje es de película y el alojamiento excelente.||Gabriele fue super atento y amable. Nos costó un poco encontrar el lugar pero él nos ayudó con indicaciones por teléfono. ||El lugar está bien ubicado para recorrer la zona. ||Todo estaba limpio y cada vista desde las ventanas de la casa eran un cuadro. La casa tenía una galería donde desayunábamos en medio de un paisaje maravilloso.||Tal vez el equipamiento de cocina no es tan completo si uno va por varios días y quiere comer adentro. ||Nosotros solo nos hospedamos dos noches así que no pudimos disfrutar mucho de las instalaciones, por ejemplo de la pileta. Pero se veía impecable.||Gabriele nos prestó bicicletas para salir a pasear y siempre estuvo disponible para cualquier cosa que necesitáramos.||Esperamos volver algún día, super recomendable!

Es un lugar encantador, lleno de detalles que evocan su pasado, se diría que estás siendo parte de una película. La casa es adorable, el desayuno es muy bueno, típico Toscana. La atención de Dazy, su amabilidad y cuidado fueron muy especiales. ||El paisaje alrededor, con sus colinas vestidas de cultivos de uva y olivos, toman el color del sol en cada momento del día. ||Helena, gracias por todo el cariño que pones para cada detalle, eres una maravillosa anfitriona. Nos acercaste a tu verdadera Toscana y la hiciste nuestra.

Nos encanto el lugar y el partamento. La piscina fabulosa. En medio de la campiña toscana con vistas espectaculares sobre los viñedos. Quizas un poco dificil de encontrar. Esta a 20 min. de Siena y cerca del pueblito de Monti donde hay un pequeño almacen.

Ir a la Toscana siempre fue un sueño para mi familia. Haber podido quedarnos 5 días en este maravillo lugar fue el marco perfecto para vivirlo. La vista insuperable, las colinas de chianti, hermosas, llenas de viñedos, la villa acogedora, naturalmente decorada al estilo de la Toscana, rústica sin embargo cómoda, con una gran chimenea y una preciosa cocina donde pasamos inolvidables momentos preparando las comidas con productos frescos adquiridos en los alrededores, directo a los productores. La piscina es un plus, el jacuzzi también. Gabriele, nuestro anfitrión, merece una calificación de 5 estrellas también, siempre atento y preocupado sin ser invasivo... siempre flexible con nuestros requerimiento especiales, como cuando armamos una mesa para almorzar prácticamente sobre el valle. Mil Gracias por este sueño. Prometo regresar!

Simplemente precioso! Hemos estado muy cómodos, el paisaje es espectacular y el alojamiento tiene todo lo que puedas necesitar. Muy amables y serviciales, nos han dejado leña para la chimenea todos los días. Completamente recomendable!

Un lugar increíble rodeado de viñedos en el corazón de la toscana, y a sólo 20 minutos de Siena. Elena, la dueña, una estupenda anfitriona que te acoge como uno mas de la familia desde el primer momento de tu llegada, el servicio estupendo,las habitaciones muy limpias y decoradas al mas puro estilo toscano. Los desayunos muy completos. En resumen, un sitio fantástico.||||Grazie Mille Elena! :)
