TRULY BREATHTAKING - I feel honoured to have gotten married at Castelvecchi as it really is something out of a fairytale. This venue is a piece of Italian heritage, a true traditional rustic farmhouse style villa but with elegant grandeur & timeless class. The views around the vineyard are simply indescribable & every single one of our guests commented on how special this place is. We had a 3 night wedding here in late July 2025 & everything was complete perfection. We attended the summer before for our food tasting, met the team and were able to explore the rooms. From the minute we found this treasure, Barbara and her team really did try to assist us in creating our perfect wedding.
The catering is honestly exceptional. Sofia and her team are fantastic and we were served incredible food throughout the wedding weekend. We chose to not use external catering and wanted to support the beautiful on site restaurant and I would highly recommend this. It almost felt like fine dining throughout our wedding breakfast and in 92 guests, not a single person had an incorrect meal or allergy missed. We also had just a wonderful time with the staff and by night 3, after a stunning pizza party, they were dancing into the night with us!
Although I hope to of course not marry again, I truly hope to have a reason in the future to hire and return to CastelVecchi - genuinely a piece of our hearts now lives within those gardens ♥️

Went to a wedding here this weekend and the facilities and staff were just exceptional! So welcoming and accommodating to every request!! The facilities were beautiful with amazing views overlooking Tuscany! They also allowed us to do a wine tasting before we left which was delightful! Highly recommend!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! From start to finish, everything was seamless. The space was absolutely stunning and created the most magical atmosphere for our special day. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, and their professionalism and warmth put us completely at ease. As wedding photographers, we absolutely love Borgo Castelvecchi! The rooms are beautiful and full of character, and on sunny days the sunsets are simply magical, giving us the most incredible light for photos.
Also we LOVE the bulb lights, they are incredible during the night!

Every time we shoot here it’s a joy, and the team is always welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended!

A Dream Wedding Venue – Unforgettable Experience!

We visited Tuscany in 2023 to explore wedding venues, and the moment we saw Borgo Castelvecchi, we knew it was the one. The charm, the views, the atmosphere – it was exactly what we imagined for our wedding. Our 3-day celebration there was nothing short of perfect. The team was incredibly supportive and passionate about what they do, and it truly showed in every detail. All of our 70 guests, including children, were able to stay on-site comfortably, which made the whole experience even more special.

A huge thank you also to Sofia, Lorenzo, and the entire team at Ristorante Castelvecchi. From the welcome pizza party to the wedding dinner and light lunch, everything was absolutely delicious. They were so flexible and thoughtful – my husband is vegetarian and they made sure we had plenty of great veggie options throughout the entire stay. They even organized a birthday cake for one of our friends who was celebrating her birthday during the wedding!

We were incredibly lucky to celebrate our absolute dream wedding at Borgo Castelvecchi. Not only is the Borgo a stunningly beautiful estate surrounded by vineyards, but the entire team—especially Barbara, Daniele and Sophia—are true gems!

Over the course of two years, they answered every question with ease, made every wish possible, and were always incredibly flexible and relaxed in their communication. The atmosphere at Borgo Castelvecchi is truly breathtaking and creates a very special, almost magical, feeling.
The food was absolutely incredible as well. They were happy to accommodate every dietary preference, including vegetarian and vegan options, and put together a truly exquisite menu that left everyone amazed.

One of the absolute highlights is that all guests can stay on-site, which made the time together even more meaningful and unforgettable.

If we could, we would celebrate there every year! We’ll definitely be back for a visit!

The most magical weekend celebrating our wedding! We truly cannot recommend Borgo Castelvecchi enough to anyone dreaming of a Tuscan wedding. From start to finish, Barbara, Sofia, Daniele, and the entire team were warm, welcoming, and incredibly supportive with every detail.

As an English couple planning from abroad, we had limited opportunities to meet suppliers in person. The team went above and beyond, not only helping us find amazing local vendors but also managing every aspect seamlessly. Their flexibility and dedication meant that any issues were quickly resolved, and they worked tirelessly to bring our vision to life.

The venue itself is breathtaking, full of character, charm, and surrounded by stunning scenery. The winery tour was a wonderful bonus for our guests; many enjoyed it so much they even bought bottles to take home after tasting the wines throughout our celebration. The nearby village is absolutely worth a visit too; it’s quaint, picturesque, and a must-stop for ice cream and pastries at Bar Sampoli. 😍

We kicked off the weekend with a pizza party on the first night, which was an absolute hit. The team took care of everything, serving up fresh pizzas from their traditional oven, each one delicious and not short on options. The chocolate dessert pizza in particular the kids adored!

On our wedding day, everything was simply perfect. The food was outstanding, and the whole day felt relaxed and joyful, allowing us to soak in every moment with our loved ones. Barbara was amazing in the planning all the way through to delivery.

We had 48 guests for 3 days at the end of May. All our guests were blown away by the venue and had nothing but praise for the wonderful staff. It was a weekend we will cherish forever, and we cannot thank the team enough for making it so unforgettable.

Words cannot truly capture the magic we experienced at Borgo Castelvecchi, but we’ll try — because this place made our wedding more than we ever could have wished for.
We came to Castelvecchi with high hopes and big dreams… but also with a more modest budget than many other venues we’d looked at. The team not only made those dreams come true — they exceeded them in every way.
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome, cared for, and truly special. Everyone — Barbara, Daniele, Sofia, Lorenzo, and the full team, as well as Giovanni, the kind and passionate owner — went above and beyond to make sure we were supported, comfortable, and able to enjoy every moment. They are all so friendly, fully proficient in English, and made communication effortless. It honestly felt like we were in the hands of people who genuinely care about making your day perfect.
The venue itself is pure magic — like a scene from a movie. The stunning views over the Chianti hills, the charming stone buildings, the peaceful, elegant garden — it feels as if you and your guests are the only people in the world. The garden for the ceremony is truly one of a kind, a perfect spot to say “I do” surrounded by nature’s purest, most intimate beauty.
The food is outstanding, a true taste of Tuscany. From the breakfast, to the aperitivo, pizza dinner and wedding dinner - it was all delicious. Lorenzo and the team even made us a round tiramisu instead of a traditional wedding cake, and it was not only at a good price and very delicious, but it looked absolutely stunning — a perfect match for the surroundings. To quote the bride “Lorenzo’s tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had”.
The wine, especially their own rich red, was a huge highlight — smooth, deep, and perfect for toasting to a new marriage.
The rooms are all different, yet effortlessly elegant and cosy, filled with charming details and a rich sense of history. The venue also has beautiful “getting ready rooms”, perfect for both the bride and groom — intimate, beautiful spaces filled with character — a wonderful start to a wonderful day.
We chose to make our own playlists and ren the speaker at Borgo Castelvecchi instead of hiring a DJ, and it turned out perfectly. The team made sure we had everything we needed, and the result was a wonderful, heartfelt celebration under the Tuscan sky.
Borgo Castelvecchi is not just a venue — it’s a place filled with soul, kindness, and pure magic. We honestly felt we were in a world of our own, surrounded by love, happiness, and peace. If you’re looking for a wedding that’s intimate, stunning, stress-free, filled with character, and made possible by people who truly care, this is it.
We will forever be grateful we chose Castelvecchi. We can’t wait to return — it feels like home.

Waren auf einer Hochzeit dort. Location und Flair sind fast einzigartig. Preise bei den Getränken überraschend moderat. Pool hat den uns und den Kinder sehr gut gefallen...leider ist dieser sehr Chlorig. Danach unbedingt duschen!

Bellissimo agriturismo tra i colli in provincia di Siena. Ottima posizione e buon servizio. Il mio giudizio sulle camere è riferito alla camera dove ho alloggiato che era una di quelle degli edifici laterali. Probabilmente le camere dell'edificio principale sono molto meglio.

Abbiamo trascorso un week-end di luglio in un questo bellissimo borgo.
Abbiamo prenotato due appartamenti che ci hanno fatto rimanere a bocca aperta. Una vista incantevole e il borgo è immerso nella natura. È presente, inoltre, una piscina vicino agli appartamenti.
Consigliato a tutti, ci tornerei molto volentieri!

Meraviglioso agriturismo del Chianti. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di soggiornarci un weekend e ci tornerei subito. Il posto è Veramente stupendo, immerso nella campagna toscana. Le camere sono veramente bellissime e ben tenute. Dispone di una piscina molto curata e il personale è veramente disponibile e gentile. Veramente un agriturismo pazzesco!

Ci sono andato al primo giorno di apertura post covid per cui alcune cose non possono essere recensite. Borgo bellissimo interamente a vostra disposizione a pochi chilometri da Radda nel cuore del Chianti. Stanza pulita anche se forse troppo spartana in particolare il bagno, ristorante chiuso e colazione solo servita causa covid. Bellissima la piscina per riprendersi dalle fatiche della giornata e bellissimo il panorama. Cantina "in casa" per degustazioni ... Ottime. Personale cortese e molto disponibile per qualsiasi necessità. Rondini ovunque che rallegrano lo spirito.

Un cadre splendide au cœur des vignes du chianti, le calme absolu ( vous ne serez pas dérangé par le téléphone , aucun réseau ou passe difficilement) Le wifi est disponible mais de mauvaise qualité . Notre chambre et la salle de bain étaient très humide avec de la moisissure dans la salle de bain . De plus , les pièces sont très mal éclairées.
Concernant la piscine , la vue depuis est superbe mais dommage qu'elle soit mal entretenue.
Le petit déjeuner est sous forme de buffet, avec un peu de tout (sucré / salé) . Le restaurant est pas mauvais mais assez cher.

Ha un po’ deluso le mie aspettative. Il posto non è male sembra un piccolo borghetto privato ma pensavo più spartano invece e’ più tipo hotel non una fattoria. La camera niente di che. Nota positiva ci hanno offerto la degustazione gratis (di cui però non abbiamo usufruito). Piscina carina. Posizione carina in mezzo ai vigneti. Colazione ok ma avrei aggiunto qualcosa per gli intolleranti al latte.

Nos alojamos en el mes de julio de 2017 un par de noches. Complejo en el que se tiene un hotel que ocupa un antigua casa palaciega con bodegas. Lugar par descansar, en medio del campo (literal) y con carretera con bastantes curvas de acceso - como detalle no hay televisiones en las habitaciones-. Muy buen desayuno, variado y de calidad. Se puede tomar al aire libre. Restaurante para cenar con cocina de alta calidad en el que degustar los vinos de su bodega. Por estancia te obsequian con una degustación de vinos en su bodega que por desgracia no pudimos aprovechar. Muy recomendable.

Ubicación muy bonita, habitaciones amplias y cómodas y restaurante propio con buena comida. Si se quiere ir a visitar las ciudades de alrededor hay un buen recorrido de curvas pero por el resto sitio perfecto.
