We wrapped up our two week Italian vacay with three nights at la Moscadella which was without a doubt the highlight of our trip. Perfect location, unbelievable property, amazing staff, Michelin quality cuisine were the highlights but are only the tip of the iceberg. Entire staff was so helpful in all aspects of our stay. Analisa, Alice, Erika in charge of customer service and Mara, Giulia and Wiera in the restaurant were amazing and can’t thank them all enough. Of course the Captain of the ship was Isabella who was so impressive and such a delight to visit with. It is a 5 star experience and we are so pleased we chose to make la Moscadella the final stop on our Italian adventure 🇮🇹🇮🇹. Evy and Roberto

If you are gluten free- this is THE place to stay! Both the owner and several staff have celiac family members so they truly understand gluten free. Breakfast and dinner were both amazing!

The hotel is beautiful, our room was huge and the staff were so helpful. The concierge set up a call with us before we arrived and gave excellent recommendations. The room had so many complimentary amenities- a welcome bottle of wine, fully stocked fridge, fresh fruit, Swiss skincare and so much more. The hotel is conveniently located to wineries, restaurants and charming towns. We loved our stay here!

We had high expectations for La Moscadella. Those expectations were exceeded. This was one of the finest places we have ever stayed at, and our week was spectacular. I don't want to overdo superlatives, but it would be easy to. ||The staff was extremely helpful and friendly - and they seemed sincere about it. About the best staff we have ever run into. All their suggestions - from restaurants to vineyards to walks - were spot on. The restaurant was excellent. We did several of their theme dinners and they were great. Our room was very comfortable. It looked out over the grounds and to neighboring hills. So many nice little touches.||Would we go back? In a minute.

La Moscadella is a perfect vacation for anyone visiting Tuscany for the first time or as many times as you can visit! Castelmuzio is a destination if you want to center yourself in the heart of the most beautiful Tuscan countryside. If you never leave the property, the views are awesome, the food perfection and the staff the most welcoming of any hotel in Italy. Booking La Moscadella last April and now in October was the best decision we've made traveling. Usually visit the Napa Valley in October but since our experience in April was so magical, we chose Italy for the Fall and took advantage of the olive and grape harvest! What a treat!|Let Erika and the concierge staff book your experiences...they have many to choose from and if driving as we do, they place you in the very best areas for parking as well as where to eat etc. etc. Spot on with each adventure.|Please experience olive oil tasing with Allesandro, cooking with Walter and Annalisa|and have wonderful breakfasts with Julia and staff. Amazing choices!|We're hoping to make this an annual visit!

This was our second visit to La Moscadella this year. Wonderful stay in a very comfortable suite. Great people - so helpful planning each days trips. A car is a must. Dinner was great. Super cooking class - cocktails, soup, pasta and poached pear for desert.|The location is great for day trips in Tuscany - from Sienna to Montepulciano and beyond.|We will return.

Wow! What a fantastic time we had at La Moscadella! As you read through all the previous reviews, a common theme comes through: Impeccable grounds, beautifully decorated guest rooms, careful attention to the smallest of details, ect. I certainly agree with all of them. But, one of the things I loved the most was the people. It's clearly a top down style of operation at La Moscadella, and the top is Isabella and her family. They set the tone for the way things are run and I must complement her on her hiring. Each and every person working there is excellent at what they do. Beginning with the reception/concierge staff. Erika, Alice, and Annalisa were always available, willing to assist in any way to make our visit the very best possible. The wait staff were fantastic. Mara, Francesco and all the others (whose names I can't remember...sorry) would go above and beyond to serve those beautiful and delicious meals. Kudos to the kitchen staff! We had the pleasure of taking a cooking class with Executive Chef, Walter and assisted by Annalisa. We will have those memories for a lifetime. The "experiences" offered were all very special and just what we were looking for from a visit to Tuscany. Can't recommend this place enough! Grazie mille!!

This was our third time staying with The Isabella experience. Isabella and her team have created heaven on earth at La Moscadella. Our 10 days there were magical. The property is impossibly beautiful. This is definitely luxury with every little detail you can imagine. Yet it is comfortable and feels like home. The staff goes above and beyond every minute. Take advantage of the many planned experiences and events, immersing in Tuscan life. Dinner in the restaurant is excellent. We cannot wait to return.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at La Moscadella! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The room and grounds were in pristine condition, clearly cared for with great attention to detail.

The breakfast and dinner menus were fantastic—so good, in fact, that we made sure to try every single dish during our stay! Each meal was a true highlight, showcasing fresh ingredients and incredible flavors.

The location is fantastic, offering a peaceful countryside setting while being perfectly central to several charming little towns, making it easy to explore the area.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend La Moscadella to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Tuscany!

This place and energy of this place is amazing. The entire staff is incredible and go above and beyond. Everything is taken care of to the most precious little details. The views to the val d’orcia and montisi town are so pretty. We stayed in the villino and couldn’t have asked for a better place for this week of relax - great location to all the towns and borgos around, montalcino, montepulciano, and full of other great restaurants close by.

Wow! One of the most beautiful stays I’ve ever had in my life. The attention to detail in the room and in the property, the friendliness of the staff, the view… I cannot recommend this place enough, it truly was magical. It’s an hour and a half drive from Florence, there are many beautiful towns to see nearby, the recommendations are prepared for you in a book in your room, we were spoilt for choice. I will miss my beautiful breakfasts at La Moscadella. This is a place I hope I will keep coming back to..

Our family with 2 adult kids and my mom, loved la moscadella! It was a breeze from booking period till the end. Their concierge, Erika, was very efficient in helping us plan our activities and booking the restaurants for us. They have a wide range of suggested activities to choose from so it's easy to plan. And they prepare a summary of your chosen daily agenda complete with the suggested time of departure from LA moscadella and the link for map directions. ||The rooms and the whole place and decors are just lovely! A mix of classic ambience with modern amenities. They pay attention to all traveler's needs, even the little details like hooks, and even a yoga mat for each room! And they provide so many freebies in the rooms like fresh fruits, nuts, wine, snacks, etc. Breakfast was also very good, with breads/croissants, cheese and tomatoes, prosciutto, salad, eggs, yogurt, fresh juices, hot chocolate, etc.||We loved our stay there and were very sad to leave after 3 nights. We hope we can go back again someday!

From the very start, the experience is outstanding. The attention to detail and planning the trip was amazing. Very good recommendations were given for local activities as well as restaurants. The room itself was very luxurious and extremely clean. The staff at the hotel, including Alice at the front desk were simply wonderful people. We booked the villa and deluxe suite for our family of 6 for five days between our busy visits to Rome and Florence. This facility is first class with excellent amenities, friendly and helpful staff, and remarkable Tuscany setting. Our 9 and 12 year old grandsons relaxed with table tennis, darts, and swimming. The villa even had a game of Uno. We enjoyed the excellent breakfast buffet in a beautiful patio setting with gorgeous views of the Tuscan hills. The grounds have several areas to sit and relax with books and/or a bottle wine and snacks. Our villa included a welcome spread of snacks and sweets, fully stocked picnic basket, bottle of Chianti, fresh fruits and vegetables, and juices. We were able to cook two lunches in the fully equiped kitchen. The onsite restaurant is well known for its excellent cuisine, and we enjoyed 3 delicious dinners. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed and recommend the Isabella Experience.

I am in love with La Moscadella! We had the most incredible experience, and were absolutely spoiled by Isabella and her entire staff.
We arrived late in the day, and although we were the only dinner guests at that time of night, we were served a beautiful and luxurious meal. This was such a treat after a long travel day, and we immediately felt at home. Every meal we had at La Moscadella was impeccable.
The grounds, interiors, and rooms are spectacular. I never wanted to leave! There were so many special touches in all of the unique spaces that enhanced our time at La Moscadella, from the beautiful spread of snacks in our room to the special toiletries to use in the bathroom, everything was just beautiful.
I can't say enough good things about the staff at La Moscadella. They helped us arrange some activities while we were guests, and I am beyond grateful to them for their guidance. We really felt pampered during our entire stay, and Isabella herself is the most lovely hostess.
I cannot recommend La Moscadella enough as an absolutely stunning accommodation in Tuscany, and I already can't wait to return!

This is the most wonderful hotel we have ever stayed at. The attention to detail and hospitality sets it apart from all others. The warm welcome, the help with planning our time, the access to activities/tours/experiences, the comfort of the room with provided snacks, a fully stocked mini-bar, access to laundry, the food, the property in general were all INCREDIBLE. We desperately wished we spent our entire time in Italy here at La Moscadella instead of jumping to other cities. There's so much to do and see and you won't regret spending relaxing evenings at your home base.
