Stayed for a week at the end of June and loved almost everything about it! The most gorgeous views, lovely accommodations, staff was wonderful. The only downsides were the heat with no air conditioning and minimal fans, and I would have loved if they had more food options on site. Otherwise it was a wonderful time

We stayed 4 nights early in the season as a base to see tuscany. Montestigliano was more than we expected it is a stunning location the grounds are just amazing to walk around with a glass of wine the views are fabulous, the sensory garden is beautiful and peaceful.
We stayed in casa emilio amazing for sunsets and then lighting the outside fire.
Any early raisers we would recommend going to the courtyard and watching for the deers to appear from the olive trees. Just beautiful. Francesco & Maddelena super friendly and onhand to help any way they can.

We just finished our stay at Montestigliano and all we can say is wow! Francesco is the heart and soul of the property and was the most helpful, he truly made us feel like family. Whether it be helping us check in, answering all of our questions, and booking us reservations at local restaurants. He truly is a delight!
The property was stunning, the homes in immaculate condition and the grounds perfect for walking. Also they had a very nice property Donkey named Monte!
Cannot recommend enough and look forward to our next visit.

Really impressive story. Stayed for a wedding. The grounds are beautiful and worth spending the time to walk around. The catering service was downright impressive. Excellent chef and servers were to be commended. Rooms were quite nice and very clean. Just have to be comfortable sharing with other house guests.

Photographing a wedding at Montestigliano was an absolute delight. The villa's panoramic views of the rolling Tuscan hills provided a spectacular setting for every photo. Visto solo parzialmente. È un luogo magnifico dal punto di vista sia paesaggistico che agricolo. Un antico borgo ristrutturato dove organizzare eventi, ben organizzato e molto piacevole, almeno per chi sa apprezzare la raffinatezza e la quiete. Possibile alloggiare, mangiare e acquistare prodotti, soprattutto olio e vino di alta qualità. Isolato sopra una collina e circondato di uliveti, ma poco distante dalla strada Siena-Grosseto.

We stayed 5 weeks at Montestigliano this Fall. Our experience was magical. Our villa, Casa Massimo, was a delight - modern, spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful, quiet and allowed spectacular views. Francisco, the manager/concierge could not have been more helpful. The location is convenient to Siena and there are nearby villages with outstanding restaurants and all the essentials one might need. We will be staying at Montestigliano again, without doubt!!

This is the ultimate Tuscan experience. From the beautiful buildings to the views and the amazing staff. Accessibility to the region for food, wine, coffee, cycling and more is just at the bottom of the road.

Driving in sees you pass through the quintessential avenue of trees, typified by the region and the white gravel road that winds it's way up to the multiple properties at the top.

The host could not be more gracious and accommodating. Doing the on site dinners is a must as they are fun interaction and the food is great. Dinner night the sell the wine pizza night you can bring your own. The villas are spacious and clean with a rustic feel. |An amazing property!!!!

Stayed 5 nights in Casa Luisa with 5 friends and it was wonderful. The views are breathtaking and accommodations just perfect. Francesco and all the staff were very welcoming and I’m so glad we made it for pizza night. Damiano is an accountant by day and a chef and karaoke singer by night. Needless to say there was eating, drinking, singing and dancing throughout the evening. A wonderful place to stay.

Francesco is the most accommodating host we have ever met. He was so kind and helpful and even got us out of a traffic mishap. The grounds are meticulous and our Casa Damiano (house) was so warm and inviting, we felt that we were "at home." The location is very convenient to many sites, restaurants and the Autoroute. When you dream of visiting Tuscany, start by reviewing the website for Montestigliano.

Wat een heerlijke week hebben we hier gehad. Een prachtig authentiek dorpje, met smaak aangepast naar een fijne agriturismo. Familiebedrijf, waarin aandacht voor de gast centraal staat. Zeer hartelijk ontvangen, niets is teveel gevraagd.||Mooi appartement (casa Massimo) met 2 slaapkamers, twee badkamers, mooie woonkamer en goed uitgeruste keuken. Eigen wasmachine onder het huisje. Fijne meubels in de woonkamer, prima bedden. Geen airco, wel ventilatoren. Ramen voorzien van horren.||Twee mooie zwembaden (family pool en quiet pool), goede afmetingen, fijn water en goed meubilair rondom de zwembaden.||Twee keer per week gezamenlijke diners, erg gezellig en leuk georganiseerd. Eigen wijn en olijfolie. ||Fijne uitvalsbasis voor Siena en andere bezienswaardigheden in de regio.

We held our destination wedding with 50 friends and family members at Montestigliano and the venue and staff far exceeded our expectations. Each guest accommodation was comfortable, well appointed and full of historic charm. The setting was spectacular with its commanding hilltop views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. And the cuisine was spectacular! But what really made our wedding exceptional were the staff members at Montestigliano. From the moment we stepped on the property they treated us like family. They couldn’t have been more welcoming, accommodating, creative and thoughtful about each detail of our wedding events, which took place over the course of four days. Our guests jokingly told us that our wedding was so spectacular and special that it ruined all weddings they’ll attend in the future! We are eternally grateful for the kindness and love extended to us by the staff at Montestigliano. We will be back, without hesitation!

We booked our return trip to Montestigliano in August 2019, after having had to move it four times due to COVID19.||||Francesco and the Monte team were fantastic about this, and we finally go to use our holiday in September 2021.||||We have had THE most relaxing and amazing break, when we were finally able to return. We have stayed at Montestigliano many times in the past, but the beauty of this venue never fails to amaze.||||Our Villa was beautiful, clean and modern. We especially enjoyed the well equipped outside garden space, and walks from the Villa. The log burning stove in the garden, was especially lovely to sit around in the cooler evenings, whilst listening for wild boar.||||We pretty much enjoyed the estate and it’s two beautiful pools to ourselves, which was wonderful. We lapped up the peace, quiet and tranquility of the place, and became fully immersed in Tuscan living again, it really was the most relaxing stay after two very difficult years.||||We can’t thank the Monte team enough. Their friendly, personable approach made our stay so memorable,||||Thank you so much to Francesco, Ifat and team Monte for a fabulous stay. We very much hope to return and see you all again next year.||||Until then, stay safe and well xxx

What a fabulous stay and experience at this beautiful luxury Farmhouse in beautiful Tuscany. We were honored to be allowed to stay here out of season and with the place all to ourselves. We had the most amazing section of the estate in a 2 bed, 2 bathroom overlooking the beautiful valley below. Thanks Francesco for making our trip such a memorable one and for all the help provided for recommendations and bookings to restaurants and helping us with recommending the picturesque routes to drive to explore this beautiful part of Italy. Winter was certainly a good time to go with fewer people which I loved. The luxury villa certainly sounds amazing .... I will be back at some point in the future with family or friends! Highly recommend this place!

Location super! Personale squisito, attento, simpatico. Le stanze sono molto caratteristiche e si sente una grande e piacevole accoglienza in tutto l'agriturismo. Il panorama é da favola. Le pietanze e la qualitá degli ingredienti sono molto ricercati e apprezzati. C'é anche la piscina ben attrezzata con sdraio. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!

Four couples stayed here in early October, 2014. It is a wonderful place. The house was large and well furnished. We had 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms for 4 couples. The bedrooms are all very comfortable, the kitchen was up to date and we had an outdoor terrace on which we had dinner. Francesco is the estate manager and was extremely helpful with reservations, directions, and suggestions. He arranged for us to have a cooking class in the main building with a local chef. It was a little pricey but was a wonderful experience and produced an excellent lunch. Our house had a grass terrace overlooking the spectacular valley below. See my photo attached. We had access to 2 swimming pools. At about $500 US per couple for 7 nights, it was a really great deal.

Questo è un luogo incantevole, fuori dai soliti circuiti turistici. Nei pressi di Sovicille, vicino a Siena, ma soprattutto immerso in una natura spettacolare, fra ulivi e boschi. Sono diverse le case che fungono da alloggio, ciascuna con caratteristiche diverse, alcune più rustiche, altre più eleganti, ma dotate di tutti i comfort. Francesco, il direttore, è una persona amabile, davvero al servizio dei clienti. La proprietà è giovane e piena di energia. Il luogo è frequentato da clientela internazionale.
