Lati positivi: la posizione della struttura, su una collina bellissima, con vista sulle crete senesi e anche la struttura del castello in sè, ottima la prima colazione. |Lati negativi: non è assolutamente un 4 stelle, le camere andrebbero completamente ristrutturate. Sono piccole, anguste, arredate con mobilio vecchio e rimediato. A che serve un enorme frigo-bar se è vuoto e non c'è neppure un bollitore per farsi un the? La struttura è praticamente isolata dal mondo (e questo potrebbe essere un lato positivo) e non dispone nè di bar nè di ristorante diurno. C'è un solo abat-jour per il letto matrimoniale, due vecchi condizionatori che funzionano male, finestra che dà su una siepe. Il bagno è un disastro: vecchio, piccolo e senza nessuna comodità e con la doccia piena di muffa. In pieno inverno non c'era acqua calda e neppure il riscaldamento. Abbiamo protestato alla reception e ci hanno detto che c'era un guasto (ma leggendo le recensioni si capisce che la cosa è strutturale), nessuna scusa, nessun rimborso. Insomma come rovinarsi un week end romantico.... Sconsigliato!

Esperienza profondamente deludente.
Una struttura che si presenta come relais di charme ma che, nei fatti, non garantisce nemmeno i servizi fondamentali. Durante il soggiorno mancavano sia il riscaldamento che l’acqua calda, una situazione gravissima e inaccettabile, soprattutto considerando il periodo e il livello di prezzo richiesto.
Dormire al freddo e non potersi fare una doccia calda non è un semplice disagio, ma un grave disservizio che rende il soggiorno indegno di una struttura che ambisce a essere di livello.
La gestione del problema è stata insoddisfacente: nessuna soluzione concreta, nessuna reale attenzione verso l’ospite. L’atmosfera “da castello” non può giustificare carenze così evidenti.
Purtroppo il fascino del luogo non compensa una mancanza totale di comfort essenziale. Non tornerò e non lo consiglio.

Un vero disastro! Mancava l’acqua calda, il riscaldamento non funzionava, il bagno pieno di muffa pke in essenza di estrazione di aria, la finestra della camera da letto era totalmente bagnata dall’umidità, |La cosa peggiore è che non c’è nessuno nella struttura che possa prendere la decisione di fare qualcosa, ci è stato negato di parlare con il direttore. Ho soggiornato recentemente al Castello di Leonina e mi trovo costretto a dividere questa recensione in due parti nettamente distinte: l’esperienza gastronomica, che è stata sublime, e la qualità dell’accoglienza alberghiera, purtroppo deludente. Ristorazione: Un’eccellenza assoluta|Il vero fiore all’occhiello della struttura è senza dubbio il ristorante. Abbiamo partecipato al Cenone di Capodanno ed è stato semplicemente super delizioso. Ogni portata era curata nei minimi dettagli, con sapori ricercati e materie prime di altissima qualità. Si mangia davvero benissimo e lo chef merita un plauso speciale per aver reso la serata indimenticabile dal punto di vista del gusto. Hotel e Servizi: Esperienza da dimenticare, purtroppo, a fronte di una cena stellare, il soggiorno in hotel è stato segnato da gravi mancanze strutturali che non ci si aspetta da una residenza d'epoca di questo livello:|• Comfort della camera: Il riscaldamento era praticamente inesistente. Abbiamo passato la notte al freddo.|• Servizi idrici: In camera mancava l'acqua calda, rendendo impossibile anche solo fare una doccia confortevole.|• Benessere: La SPA non era funzionante, privandoci di uno dei servizi principali per cui avevamo scelto la struttura.|• Connettività: Il Wi-Fi è pessimo, quasi inutilizzabile, il che isola completamente gli ospiti.|Se cercate una cucina d'alto livello, il Castello di Leonina è il posto giusto. Tuttavia, la gestione della parte hotel necessita di interventi urgenti: non è accettabile soggiornare in inverno senza riscaldamento e acqua calda.|Tornerei sicuramente per il ristorante, ma non per pernottare finché non verranno risolti i problemi tecnici. Chiederò il rimborso del pernottamento. Do comunque 5 solo per il ristorante.

This castle was a great place to stay during our Tuscany adventures. The staff were the best part of all with Elena at the front desk helping us out right from our arrival and offering some travel hints/driving suggestions (we had rented a car in Siena).
We sat in the outdoor patio the first afternoon and had drinks/snacks and viewed the countryside. We did have dinner the first night in the restaurant and service and the food was perfect and reasonably priced. Breakfasts were GREAT with lots of options from eggs, bacon, cereals, juices and fruits and lots of treats. The maintenance team were awesome in dealing with an issue with our room safe (within minutes) and even returned a few minutes later to replace a flickering lamp bulb he had noticed (which we hadn’t even mentioned).
We were worried about the taxi company who we reached out to, to pick us up at Enterprise Car rental in Siena on our departure morning to take us to the train station. Roxana at the front desk tries to help by calling them twice to pre-book a cab. The taxi company advised a bicycle rally was planned for the next morning in Siena and they didn’t know if they could pick us up in the event there were too many bikes in the area or road closures and suggested we should just go there in the morning and use the app to book but no guarantees they would pick us up (even after we suggested we would walk a few blocks to open rod’s should that be needed. With an early train booked and concerns about the (terrible) taxi service we were concerned about getting to our train on time. The night before Roxana called them twice on our behalf in efforts to help but no luck. She worked to arrange alternate transportation to be sure we got to the train from our car rental drop off and we made it to Sorrento the next day on time and rested! She went out of her way to help us and the staff at this place are GREAT in all ways.

This was a last minute choice for a seven day holiday in Tuscany. Our original hotel announced they were closing the day before we were due to fly.|We wanted somewhere from where we could tour Tuscany, but was of an excellent standard, quiet and peaceful.|This completely fulfilled our requirements.|The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It’s essential to have a car.|The hotel really is a castle and the building is spectacular. |The staff are terrific, the food excellent, the room was large and very comfortable and it was so peaceful. The views are spectacular.|It’s only 20 minutes from Sienna, and ideally placed to explore the beauties of Tuscany.|We had no complaints. |With one of us being vegetarian, the restricted selection of dishes on the dinner menu was supplemented by the chef providing additional ‘specials’.|Thank you to everyone at Castello di Leonina.

Road tripping with my partner around Tuscany. We wanted an agriturismo type stay, but found it quite difficult to find something off season (end of October) we stumbled upon this beautiful property for affordable prices. Booked it last minute, rolled up in the dark. Easy to find, park, get room. Really hospitable staff. Beautiful property (the pool area is closed off in off season - making sunrise hard to see. We were too late but I bed sunset is amazing, and viewable in the winter). Unique stay with kind employees. Very comfy bed! Ten minute drive from small town with food options.

Aspectos positivos:Ubicación a 15 minutos de Siena, fácil localización y precioso entorno. Habitacíón e instalaciones agradables. Piscina bonita. Personal de recepción muy agradable. Se descansa fenomenal. No hay ruidos|||| Inconveniente: NO HAY PERSONAL. EL botones ejerce a su vez de cocinero asi como de camarero de pisos. Trabaja en exceso . Teniendo en cuenta que el lo hace todo, se entiende que no hiciera una cama , que hubiera en mitad de las escaleras un calcetín que allí estuvo horas, para luego lanzarlo debajo de una cómoda del pasillo donde quizá siga a día de hoy, ....La culpa no creo que fuera de este señor, por supuesto, sino de la escasez de personal .||EN cuanto a la limpieza, digamos que no es un 4 estrellas.||wifi no funciona demasiado

No tenemos el hábito de ir a estos lugares, nos sorprendió la vista de las colinas de Siena, hermosos trigales a punto de cosechar, un entorno espectacular, nos tocó una habitación separada del edificio del hotel, muy cómoda y apacible, desayuno discreto, wifi free con algunas dificultades de señal, para destacar la piscina al aire libre y un restaurante estilo terraza de excelencia, con muy atención y exquisitos platos, formidable vista al atardecer, con muy buen clima. Ofrecen además distintos tipos de masajes que nos parecieron algo excesivos en su costo.

El hotel está en un lugar muy bonito, las vistas son preciosas y el área de la piscina también. Sin embargo, las habitaciones son muy pequeñas y anticuadas y el baño era también muy muy antiguo. Además había veces que las cañerías olían fatal por el hotel y la habitación. ||Cenamos un día en el hotel y la comida estaba muy rica.

Pésima relación calidad/precio en un entorno muy bonito. El paisaje se corresponde estrictamente con el paisaje que asociamos a la Toscana. El hotel, en un edificio antiguo espectacular, está rehabilitado y decorado con mal criterio. Pero el coste sigue siendo el de los hoteles buenos.
