Our visit to Borgo Riccio was incredible!!! Meeting Angela and Alberto was the icing on the cake!!! If you want to immerse yourself in Italian culture, surrounded by ancient olive trees, exceptional views & close proximity to the sea you won’t be disappointed. Let’s talk figs 👀 Be sure to ask Angela & her crew about the one of its kind Ficheria!!! What an experience!! Highly recommend a visit!!!|We also hired a boat and went up the coast!! Great trip and fun day on the water for those of us truly needing a good dose of the sea and salt air. |Angela’s home truly makes you feel you have definitely landed in Italy with all the history that comes with it. She, being a true blue Italian loves her heritage and is happy to share it with you. We experienced a magical tour by night visiting the Paestum lit up in all its glory ..wow!!!|Let’s not forget our incredible breakfast feasts!!!!! Chef Tooshad excelled (apologies if I’ve mis spelt your name) Will be hitting the gym on return home. 🤣|Lastly thank you Andrea for taking great care of us!!! Questa struttura è stata recentemente completamente ristrutturata con encomiabile buon gusto. Esterno- interno non c'è una foglia fuori posto o una lampadina fulminata che non venga prontamente sostituita. Dopo una piacevolissima prima visita ci sono tornato una seconda volta per continuare a scoprire il Cilento. I proprietari della struttura hanno la capacità e la pazienza di far passare agli ospiti una vacanza incantevoli nella loro terra.

Posto molto bello e rilassante. La piscina è un plus. Personale super carino e disponibile. Ottima pulizia e molto gentile Andrea che la gestisce. Angela ed Alberto padroni di casa raffinati e dispensatori di ottimi consigli. Unica pecca manca la colazione e un minimo di bar essendo la struttura un po’ isolata tanto da richiedere l’auto per spostarsi.

Amazing quiet, very authentic and human experience. Andrea is amazing person who treated us very well and discussions were like a part of the experience. From the views, walks and breakfast view was amazing too, the area is very inspiring, mystical and transcendent to have new ideas, thoughts and new inspirations. Thank you for this experience!!!

Siamo stati con mio marito in una struttura nel Cilento conosciuta come una delle Dimore storiche di eccellenza del territorio. La vallata, la distesa infinita di verde, i salottini vecchio stile in ferro battuto, una gradevole piscina, hanno reso la nostra vacanza estremamente piacevole e rilassante. Poi visita di Paestum la meraviglia delle meraviglie. La sera concerto De Gregori e Venditti.

Posto fantastico. Elegante, discreto, accogliente, silenzioso. Luogo accessibile a tutti i luoghi di interesse turistico (spiagge) ed archeologico (Velia, Paestum), ma immerso nel verde e lontano dal caos. Il manager ci ha accolto con grande professionalità e gentilezza. Camere arredate con gusto. Colazione varia, sia dolce che salata. Alcuni dolci sono anche fatti in casa. Piscina curatissima con ombrelloni e sdraio comodissime. Prima volta per me nel Cilento e anche grazie a Borgo Riccio, ne porto con me un bellissimo ricordo. Assolutamente consigliato.

Posizione stupenda immersa nel verde delle prime colline alle spalle di Agropoli. Stanze pulite e in ordine. Andrea che già conoscevo, ti mette a tuo agio e si rende disponibile per farti trascorrere un poacevole soggiorno. Consigliato per che è in cerca di relax.

Di passaggio per andare in Sicilia, abbiamo soggiornato, mio marito ed io, per una sola notte, in questa location deliziosa: un attento restauro ha reso questo luogo fruibile ed affascinante per noi viaggiatori. La dimora è distribuita su più terrazzamenti, immersa Iin una natura mediterranea fantastica, ha una bella piscina e le stanze sono di una pulizia perfetta ed arredate con gusto. La perla di questo posto è l'accoglienza, curata da Andrea, un giovane preparato professionalmente, gentile e simpatico. Andrea si è occupato personalmente, anche della colazione, pagata a parte, servita in una sala panoramica: una colazione superba! Tutto freschissimo: brioche, mozzarelline e ricotta di bufala; acquasale (una specie di frisella-biscotto, frantumata, bagnata con acqua, condita con olio, e pezzetti di pomodoro fresco); poi frutta, pane croccante, ed una confettura di fichi prodotta con i fichi presenti nel loro stesso giardino...insomma, che dire, torneremo in questo posto delizioso e,ci auguriamo, che Andrea ci accoglierà nuovamente!

Silenzio, confort, attenzione ai dettagli, una accoglienza senza confronto, praticità. Il nostro (troppo) breve viaggio in Cilento non sarebbe stato lo stesso senza l'esperienza di Borgo Riccio, molto più che un semplice alloggio per la notte. E senza i consigli e le attenzioni costanti di Andrea che ci ha accolto e indirizzato passo per passo nelle nostre escursioni per questa splendida parte di Campania avremmo perso luoghi e sapori che sono invece indimenticabili.

Posto ideale per chi cerca una vacanza rilassante e lontana dal caldo e dal caos delle spiagge affollate. Tutta la struttura è molto bella, fresca e silenziosa. Per gli spostamenti è necessaria l’automobile ma nel raggio di pochi chilometri c’è praticamente tutto. Se siete curiosi, la dimora storica ha anche molto da raccontare.

Struttura accogliente e tanta storia da raccontare.
Ideale per trascorrere dei giorni in totale relax. Lontana dai rumori e con una stupenda vista sulla vallata.
Ottima la piscina per un bagno rigenerante al rientro dalle gite giornaliere.
Angela e Alberto sono molto premurosi e a disposizione degli ospiti.
La nostra prenotazione non comprendeva la colazione ma, in camera, ogni mattina trovavamo acqua, succhi e snack dolci.
Abbiamo mangiato degli ottimi fichi, colti dagli alberi della struttura.

My 3rd time to Italy and the Amalfi Coast, and bottoms up best and most comforting experience I've ever had; the hosts Alberto and Angela are the most caring and loving people that you could expect to feel so welcomed and willing to help and guide you with anything you were willing to do. Alberto and Angela helped us discover sights, tastes and history of the Amalfi Coast that we would not have had without getting to know the two. Probably one of the only places in Italy that has AC in each room even though not necessary because Borgo Riccio is poised along the mountainside near the Amalfi Coast and gets a beautiful breeze at night. Location was easy to navigate from, renting a car is best, but there are taxis, the hosts can arrange for travel, train station in Agropoli (safe beautiful little beach town not very touristy and great prices at restaurants) which could get you to either up or down the the shore of Italy. Alberto and Angela, thank you so much for everything, you both made our trip so special and would have been very difficult without! We will be back and 10000% recommend!!!

Everything about this place was perfect. We had been travelling in Italy for three weeks already and got here after having done the beautiful, but harrowing drive along the Amalfi Coast. What a welcome refuge! We were greeted by the beautiful owner and great lady of the house Angela, who gave us such a warm, welcoming and helpful greeting and meeting. We were exhausted from two days of scenic drives and just wanted a quiet couple of days before carrying on to Puglia. This was it. Angela listened to what we had been doing and asked what we liked. She then made perfect suggestions for how to spend our time there: dinner that night at a splendid restaurant and an after-dinner gelateria, both of which we could walk to in the village, a visit to a gorgeous and quiet uncrowded beach for the next day; then a trip back to the hotel to have time in their gorgeous swimming pool, followed by an after-the-heat-of-the-day evening visit to the nearby exceptional ruins of the ancient Greek city of Paestum that ended at a restaurant she recommended to watch the sunset and night-time illumination of Paestum. ||We were in the upper house which is like a mini-castle. The room was perfect and included fridge, beautiful views out the windows. Breakfast was stellar. We had the local acqua sale tomato and polenta crouton salad along with a wide array of other excellent breakfast choices, including the best home-made orange marmalade we have ever had. The second morning we even had freshly made pear cake.||||We cannot wait to come back and spend more time there and explore the beautiful region. Thank you so very much!||||Chas. Scott

Perfect resting place for a relaxing stay. Spent 5 nights here exploring the area and I have to say Angela and Alberto were perfect hosts. Angela spent time advising us of places to go and not one of her suggestions left us feeling disappointed. Great restaurants and great itineraries. Room was away from the main house and very clean and tidy with good air conditioning. Total piece and quiet in nice surroundings. Walked Into town several evenings to join the locals. Highly recommended. Staff great.

Trato muy amable, las sugerencias de lugares a visitar merece la pena tenerlas en consideración ya que hay sitios a los que si no es dificil acceder.||Las instalaciones son perfectas ya que han guardado el encanto de la época pero convensría que todas las habitaciones dispusieran de aire acondicionado
