My now husband and I hired her for both our wedding day in Florence, and a pre-engagement shoot some months prior to the wedding for some photos for the wedding invites, website, etc,. We hit it off instantly after a video call and meet up for the pre-engagement shoot and knew she was going to be a lot of fun to work with on our wedding day.
We chose her mostly because we liked her photography work, but she checked all of the other boxes too. Beautiful work, communicative and responsive, in our price range, photography prices/packages we wanted, and prompt gallery uploads.
I highly recommend JoAnne for your photography needs. She and her second photographer so absolutely captured the feeling and essence of our wedding day that it's unreal. I look back and I'm not sure how they found the light and other composition to capture such beautiful photos.

Wow, what can we say about Joanne! From our very first call we just knew we loved her - from her personality and passion for photography to her genuine interest in us and care of exactly what we were looking for on our big day.

We wanted a focus on moments of our day, showing ourselves and our guests enjoying ourselves with some special candid moments of us, nothing posed and didn’t want to spend too much time taking photographs. She listened to everything and captured our day perfectly, exactly how we wanted. We barely felt she was there and just blended in, she guided us on some of the more “posed” shots and made this comfortable!

Joanne’s work is incredible - I knew we wanted to work with her since I first saw her beautiful photos. We travelled to Ravello to take our wedding photos outside of the hectic wedding day events - and it was a great decision. For anyone considering booking JoAnne to capture their special day, I have no hesitation in recommending- you will not regret it! When we were planning our wedding abroad, we knew having the right photographer was essential but we didn't want the hassle of flying out a photographer from the UK. When we came across JoAnne and looked through her work and wedding packages, we just knew she was the one for us! JoAnne’s photography is PHENOMENAL, and every wedding portfoilio we browsed captured all the elements of what a wedding should entail. JoAnne's photography looked like something out of a magazine! Stunning!

As soon as we made contact, we conversed with JoAnne’s assistant, Kim, who was absolutely fantastic and her customer service was excellent. Kim was always so kind and informative and would provide regular communication and keep us informed along the way with any questions we had. Although we never met, I know she would be a lovely person.

When we initially met JoAnne via online video call, we instantly felt at ease. JoAnne was warm, friendly and full of useful information (and tips before the big day) we knew we were in safe hands and this also broke the ice before the wedding day too, especially for my husband who was feeling reserved about the thought of his photograph being taken. As soon as JoAnne arrived on our wedding day my whole family clicked with her, she worked so hard, took complete control whilst also floating by effortlessly taking photos and her aura was so calming. She felt like a friend who we had known for years!

Throughout the wedding JoAnne and her partner Pasquale were absolutely fantastic and so professional-they both went above and beyond to capture our wedding in the best light possible (no pun intended!), given that we were faced with thunderstorms and dark skies on the day! Their energy and zeal made the photography so fun and we loved the whole experience! We didn't let the storms deter us but rather saw it as an adventure and as JoAnne termed it 'chasing the light'. JoAnne knew all the best places for capturing amazing photos and had even researched a plan-B knowing that the weather could have an impact! I was also grateful how JoAnne helped me with posing and how to get the best out of the photography experience- I was so appreciative to have this guidance seeing as I had never had my photograph taken professionally before and can lack confidence.

JoAnne's partner Pasquale also needs an honorable mention- what a genuinely lovely guy and such a skilled photographer! He really was a credit on the day, worked tirelessly, and couldn't do enough to make sure our photographs and day in general ran effortlessly- I'm sure by the end of the evening Pasquale must have fluffed my dress train and veil over a hundred times! My husband, father and brother all commented on how attentive and sincere Pasquale was, from helping them to get ready, fixing their buttonholes and coordinating everything! They are truly grateful for Pasquale's assistance throughout.

If we could give JoAnne and her team a 1000 star rating we would- she truly is the best photographer and master artist in the whole of the Amalfi Coast (we did a ton of research!) and is worth her weight in gold! We are so lucky and grateful to have had her capture our special day and provide us with such a wonderful experience!

Joanne, and her partner, Pasquale, were so great to work with on the day of our Italian Wedding. Joanne had so much energy that you couldn’t help be excited about each photo she took. She knew all of the great locations for amazing pictures. She is very funny and makes you feel like the most amazing couple alive in the world. Her assistant is also great and made the entire process very easy. The end product was truly amazing and better than we hoped.
