We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Ca’ Pa’ in May. It is an utterly unique and wonderful place. The rooms are simple but luxurious, the service is excellent and extremely personal, the views are to die for and food is delicious - and the recently arrived maitre d can do enough to ensure that you are well looked after. The icing on the cake is the sea access and sun bed area which is totally stunning. We will definitely be back soon and can’t recommend this hotel enough. Thank you!

My wife and I had an incredible stay here. It felt like a hidden oasis. The staff, the kitchen, room and atmosphere was incredible. Perfectly placed in between Positano and Amalfi but without the crowds. Cannot recommend enough.

Dieses Hotel ist zusammen mit seinem professionellen Team ein echtes Juwel in der Region. Einmalige Aussicht, exzellentes Essen (Danke an den Spitzenkoch Giovanni und den souveränen Oberkellner Guiseppe) himmlische Ruhe, eine traumhafte Terrasse in den Klippen mit Zugang zum Meer, ein üppiger Garten mit floralen Schönheiten und einem Concierge Team (allem voran Sara) die für uns sämtliche Annehmlichkeiten wie Taxiboot Buchungen, Vespa Verleih, Car Parking, Restaurant Buchungen und sogar die Hotelbuchung auf Capri, stets unaufgeregt und professionell erledigt haben. Grazie und wir werden wieder kommen.

We had a truly memorable stay at Casa Privata. The villa and gardens are breathtaking — the moment you arrive, there’s a sense of calm and serenity.

The location is exceptional, with a beautiful pool and sun loungers set dramatically along the cliffside.

What really sets the experience apart is the team — warm, attentive, and always ready to help. They made us feel so well looked after throughout our stay.

Do note that there are quite a few steps down to the villa and the pool area. It wasn’t an issue for us (helped us to burn off all of the amazing pasta!) but may be challenging for others.

Меня очень тепло встретили, помогли донести чемоданы. Комната была просто потрясающей, такой красивой и чистой, удобные кровати и подушки (для меня это важно), очень рекомендую room New York с восхитительным видом на море и терассой, а также видом на Дуомо.

Очень красивые виды вокруг, ухоженная территория, дизайн виллы просто чудесен, вокруг цветут различные цветы, лимонные деревья, мимо проплывают катера, поют птицы… восторг!

Большое спасибо Саре и всем ребятам за гостеприимство и самые прекрасные впечатления.
Еда в ресторане была безумно вкусной.
Пляж заслуживает отдельных похвал.

С удовольствием вернемся еще❤️

We had an amazing stay at Ca’ Pa’! The property is beautifully aesthetic, with sun beds right next to the cliffs, offering the perfect spot to relax and soak in the stunning views. The staff were incredibly responsive and helpful, especially Sara, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.

When we encountered an issue with the hot water, they fixed it in no time, showcasing their commitment to guest satisfaction. The sea view from the property was breathtaking, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot to enjoy the sunset!

If you're driving, they offer parking arrangements (for a fee) at a nearby garage, along with porters to assist with luggage, which made everything so convenient. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to our days. Our room was spacious and featured two bathrooms, making it ideal for our family.

Overall, Ca’ Pa’ exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Holiday of the year in capa private. I love the garden and seaside view and privacy very much. They own the best view of AMALFI coastline.

The room is design I like it as we. Even the bathroom is a little bit small but acceptable.

The garden restaurant is great with best view. Everything is just slow down there.

If there is any chance, I prefer to go back again, especially when the lemons are ripe ❤️

We had the most beautiful vacation we've ever experienced at Casa Privata near Positano. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the incredible cleanliness and the charm that this hotel exudes. Here, you experience the true essence of Italy. The food is absolutely delicious, and the warm, family-like atmosphere immediately enchanted us. You feel like part of the family, while privacy is still highly respected—a rare and wonderful balance.

One of the most unique aspects was the loungers on the rocks, offering direct access to the sea—an absolute dream! We had never experienced anything like this before, and it made our stay even more special.

Another highlight was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They are incredibly friendly, anticipate every need, and offer service at a level rarely seen. We were especially impressed by how helpful they were, even when we wanted to assist with something—they simply took care of everything, allowing us to fully relax.

Our heartfelt thanks go to the entire team at Casa Privata. You gave us an unforgettable stay, and we hope to return very soon. This place is simply magical, and we recommend it wholeheartedly to everyone!

De beste beslissing van ons huwelijk is om NIET bij Ca Pa te trouwen. Rosa was totaal niet transparant mbt kosten en alles draaide om haar en ze kreeg niets voor elkaar. We hebben de locatie twee keer bezocht, maar het was zo slecht georganiseerd dat we er vanaf hebben gezien. Het eten (zogezegd bereid door sterren chefs) was duur en slecht. Ik wil graag andere mensen voor teleurstelling behoeden want we moesten halsoverkop op zoek naar iets anders. De locatie is prachtig, maar dat is het dan ook.

Volg je gevoel. Het eiland zit vol lieve mensen en prachtige locaties dus zoek verder.

I spent three wonderful nights at this hotel. The staff were lovely throughout and reached out proactively to ask if I needed additional assistance. The hotel itself is extraordinary and the location is outstanding. It’s literally magical. I highly recommend this hotel. Also, there is a great value-add in staying in Praiano. It’s a quiet place that is not flooded by masses of tourists. It’s only a small drive away from Positano. But you can return at night to an idyllic town and a beautiful hotel, while enjoying the glory of the Amalfi Coast in splendid quiet and serenity.

Was great stay with the lovely hotel! Great decor on the room and all the staff are super friendly to prepare a cake on the arrival for my birthday! Only is the location is little hidden and need a downhill walk to be reach the hotel but still quite an adventure! Highly recommend if you’re looking for unique destinations.

Ca'Pa' is such a beautiful place, the pictures somehow still don't do it justice. It's so tastefully and beautifully designed and the private spot by the sea is incredible - it doesn't quite feel like real life. The pool spot is gorgeous too.

The staff were moreover absolutely wonderful, being able to request things over WhatsApp was really handy, and everyone was so lovely and helpful.

Some of the negative reviews here mention the food being not the best and expensive but to be honest you could say the same for pretty much everywhere in Amalfi, and we still had some lovely dishes (the cuttlefish and fennel was 👌)

If we come back to the coast, we will definitely stay here again!

BUYER BEWARE! I booked a reservation at this hotel in May 2024 for a June 2024 visit. Immediately after booking, I reached out to the hotel via email, Instagram and over the phone to arrange private transfers from the airport as well as other activities. ||I reached out multiple times across multiple platforms over the course of a two week period and did not hear back. ||After perusing their Instagram and other reviews online it appeared that the hotel might be closed or at a minimum something fishy was going on as other travelers have noted. ||Today, one day before my booked arrival for this hotel (which I could not even properly cancel because I have not been able to get a hold of anyone), I received a text message from someone at the hotel to confirm my information for our stay. I immediately responded to let them know that we would not be joining them and shared screenshots of my attempts to reach out with no response. ||AT WHICH POINT the business has attempted to charge my card over and over and over various amounts, but still has not even responded to me. It’s honestly laughable. I was smart and proactively notified my credit card company of the issue after the first week of not being able to get a hold of anyone at the property. But they are still trying to charge my card various amounts and have not even responded to me since I let them know I would not be joining them and why!||at a minimum the management of this hotel is unprofessional and unresponsive. I can’t speak to the experience of staying there, but I certainly would not recommend it and tell any travelers to proceed with caution.

Do Not Pass that gate! This is a horrible place. From the moment we were met at the top of the steps by 3 guys in dirty clothing to porter our bags down the mountain trek I thought where have we booked.||We arrived down the steps and were greeted by a stern ‘sit here’. The gates then closed behind me and I began to ponder on what type of prison i have landed in||Shortly after we were brought to our room. We were provided no key to our room. We were then shown the room and told ‘do not touch light switch or it will break’|We then heard the screams of a child in the room beside through the gaps in the walls. The hell begun to deepen||I sat on the bed to gather my thoughts, only to discover the lack of hygiene in the room(dirty bed sheets, dirty floor, strange scents)||The paper was falling of the walls and nothing like the image portrayed on their marketing materials. The furniture was falling apart.||I then went to use the bathroom and discovered we bad none(it was a shared bathroom with the Villa which is not highlighted on their marketing)||I then made the decision it was time to go. I went downstairs and spoke to the reception staff(this guy was actually very friendly, one saving grace for casa privata). He understood my issues immediately and directed me to his angry manager. His manager put me onto a lady who claimed she was the owner of the hotel. I explained our situation and she said ‘she understood’ and would ‘waiver’ the charges. I mistakenly thought the ordeal was over. ||I returned to the prison cell to collect my partner and bags. We made our way out but were then stopped at every corner by staff trying to prevent us leaving. Once i got to front, the gate was locked, I was doomed, I felt intimidated and frightened by the manner I was approached.||The manager came and then demanded ‘you pay in full’. I told my issues and described their false marketing , the noisy and dirty rooms, and the other issues. He still refused. I advised him his boss told me the fee would be wavered. He said ‘i am manager, you pay’. This continued and i was then passed back to the lady who advised me earlier she would waiver the fee. She denied this on this call and acted very erratically, she then said I dont own the villa, its not my decision’. The horror got worse||As the aggression continued from the manager i thought this is not going to get any better so I offered €1,000 as a gesture to escape. He refused. Eventually I settled at paying an ‘escape fee’ of €1500. The nice guy on reception actually apologised(it came across to me as if this was a regular occurrence). Once the escape fee was paid the gates opened, an air of stress and fear finally left me.||I quickly booked another hotel and ran. As soon as i got to the top of the steps I felt a sense of freedom again. i had left the dirty prison and was finally free to view the splendours of the Amalfi coast.

We got married at Ca' P'a in July 2023 and it was a wonderful experience. We could not have asked for a more special few days in Praiano with family and friends. The staff was extremely accommodating, kind, and above all just lovely people to be around.

We worked with Rosa and Giuseppe throughout the planning process - exchanging a lot of emails and connecting on Facetime a few times and everything went extremely smooth for all three of our events (welcome dinner, wedding, and day after pool party). Planning a wedding overseas is a bit overwhelming, but Rosa read every email, remembered every detail, and was extremely patient/helpful when we'd change our minds, etc.

In all honesty, some of the reviews I read worried me at times but I have to say that was absolutely just not my experience with Rosa and the Ca' P'a team - everyone and everything was exceptional. Each event was better than the last and designed so beautifully.

Also, the property is absolutely stunning. The rooms are extremely well kept and the interiors are designed to perfection. Waking up there each day during our stay felt like a dream. Our family and friends really enjoyed the pool and beach access. We spent the majority of the time jumping off the rocks into the sea.

Lastly, the food was delicious - no matter if it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner - you could always count on incredible dishes. Our guests continue to rave about our wedding meal.

Overall, our time at Ca' P'a was truly one in a million, and we will return any chance we get. We could not have picked a better place to get married and would recommend it to anyone considering it.

To Rosa, Giuseppe, and the Ca' P'a team, thank you for giving us the most incredible memory. We have so much love for this special place.

My husband and I had an incredible stay at Casa Privata. The property is incredibly beautiful. Everywhere you turn there is something to take in and it's easy to spend an afternoon just walking around taking photos of everything. The pool was beautiful and we loved sitting down by the sea. The water access is so unique! We also loved our room and the breakfast provided. Most importantly, the staff was so incredibly helpful and friendly. We interacted a lot with Luigi and Berni in particular and they were so kind.

Oh my gosh. I am so happy we found this place!! We wanted to stay in positano but couldn’t find any availability. We are SO glad we stayed here instead! Praiano is stunning and not packed like positano. The views at Casa Privata is insane and you have a private area by the sea on the cliff with access to the water. All the staff is so helpful. Out of all of our requests not a single staff member said “no” once! Everything we asked for, they accommodated! The food was better than any of the restaurants we went to. Coffee and breakfast was amazing. The pool is quaint & clean. The garden is peaceful. Massages in the breeze were so great after a day spent on Capri! We will only being coming here when we visit the amalfi coast! Stunning!!!!!
