Where do I start… we had our wedding here in October and it was the most perfect week ever. We planned from California and didn’t see the villa until we arrived for our stay. Any expectations were beyond exceeded, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to have Alice plan the wedding of a lifetime. Since the early booking phase with Nello, everything was seamless and straight forward. 5-star service from the house manager Gennaro, 5-star service from the villa staff daily and on event days (we held 3 at the villa), 5-star rooms and views. We felt like royalty all week and our families cannot stop talking about how amazing everything was. The villa/wedding staff & vendors know exactly what they’re doing, and they are all experts in my opinion! We had no issues that I was aware of on wedding day (as it should be). My only advice is as a US bride, trust the process and have faith that everything will be perfect and beautiful! And be prepared for stairs :)

Last Monday, I had the pleasure of working at this incredible Villa. It wasn’t my first time in this beautiful Positano, but it was my first time at the villa, and it did not disappoint.

The entire day was made even better by the amazing staff and the owner, Alice, who went above and beyond to make everything perfect.

The terrace where the couple held their ceremony was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that made the moment even more special. The dinner area was just as beautiful, and the food was nothing short of impeccable.

Can’t wait to be back at this dream location!

My husband and I got married at Villa Oliviero in October, and we stayed there with our family for the duration of our wedding events. From the moment we arrived, our experience was incredible. Alice, Nello, Gennaro, and the entire VO team made us feel at home and like we were part of the family. We had older family members staying onsite, and they took special care to ensure they had what they needed and were comfortable. The newly installed elevator (which runs from the main road up to the level where the villa is) made access so much easier for all of our guests. During dinner, a massive storm hit the area, forcing us to move our dancing and dessert from out on the lower patio to upstairs where we were eating. The team acted so quickly to ensure there were plastic drapes covering the entire upstairs area and even had people holding multiple umbrellas in a small area where water was getting in to ensure our guests stayed as dry as possible. They worked with our planners to convert the inside of the villa to a dessert/champagne reception area and then disassembled our dinner table, including chandeliers, so we could begin our dancing on schedule. The villa is beautiful and has some of the most stunning views I've ever seen. At the end of our wedding events, I wanted to move in. Our wedding would not have been the magical experience it was had we had it somewhere else. Thank you to everyone at the villa for welcoming us with open arms and making our time there unforgettable.

We were there for our daughters wedding. The steps and stars and climb were unbelievably tough but at the top at the bills was a incredible experience with Gennaro who managed everything and our lovely cook who i can’t ember get name exactly and alice. Best experience, s short story about s friend who needed assistance during our stay. She had some difficulty with the stairs. They were so compassionate and so helpful. Ed we’re all very grateful. The breakfast every mornikng royalty and the wedding event itself were exceptional. Thank you to the whole staff that helped us every day

We recently had our wedding and 4 night stay with our families at Villa Oliviero. We loved every minute of our experience and only regret not booking the full week stay. We received the highest level of professionalism and service during our visit. Alice was incredibly helpful with everything planning and logistics-related prior to and during the stay, and she never seemed to get frustrated or tired with our back and forth emailing and zoom calls. On arrival, we had immediate assistance from several staff members to help with luggage, give us a tour of the facilities, etc. We had multiple events (cooking class, brunch, welcome event for 80, wedding for 80) which all went seamlessly thanks to the amazing staff who truly seemed to enjoy the events. We were also blown away by the food at all events, and had several guests say the pasta at the wedding dinner was the best they had throughout their entire trip throughout different parts of Italy! We would like to also shout out Genarro, who was the go-to person for our week for any requests, big or small. He was always there to help with a smile, even when what we were asking for may have been unreasonable. His presence was very calming. We already look forward to returning to the villa which I am sure we will do in the upcoming years. Thank you for a truly magical week!

Villa Oliviero is the most magical place. My wife and I just had our wedding there after almost two years of planning with Alice and booking with Nello. We are so grateful for their kindness, accommodation, and making our dream come true. Love to Gennaro and the amazing team in the villa as well. I hope to return one day with my family and could not recommend this incredible place or the team more!

Wow.... where do I even begin? I got married at Villa Oliviero this October and planned the wedding with Alice for over a year from the U.S. without ever seeing the venue in person. Once we arrived to Positano, met Alice in person and saw the villa, we were immediately at peace with our decision to have an international wedding, especially in Positano. Alice is absolutely amazing, and the villa has the best views in all of Positano, hands down. The steps up to the villa are completely worth it, and we truly had the best wedding experience of our lives there. The rooms are all beautiful, and the staff was extremely attentive and accommodating to our every need. Alice also knows exactly which wedding vendors to hire for your wedding day, and they are all absolutely amazing. I will never be over our florals, cake, the food or any detail. Having our wedding at Villa Oliviero was a dream come true, and I could not recommend this magical place more for a wedding venue in Positano!

I very rarely write a review BUT Villa Oliviero is too amazing to keep it a secret any longer! I went there from NY for my Goddaughter’s wedding. EVERYTHING was SPECTACULAR!||The location, the staff, the service- truly a dream come true! Nello, one of the owners helped us every step of the way. They send you prompt replies to ANY questions or concerns. The staff could not do enough for you once you are there. The accommodations are comfortable and beautiful.||Even if you are not having a wedding or special event this is an amazing place to stay!||Nello I could never thank you enough for all your help and for making Jessica and Peter’s wedding the most spectacular day ever!!!||If you are going to Positano try and book a stay at Villa Oliviero

We were lucky enough to stay at Villa Oliviero for 4 nights and host our wedding and welcome party at the Villa. We had a PERFECT stay and wedding. Nello communicated promptly with both us and our guests to help them arrange nearby accommodations. Alice was AN AMAZING WEDDING PLANNER. If you book the Villa for your wedding, you have the option of using Alice (co-owner of Villa with Nello) or another outside planner. Trust me - you don’t need an outside planner. No one knows the vendors and the Villa like Alice. She was responsive, reassuring and helped us narrow down our choices, always providing helpful suggestions. She deeply cares about you and your guests. When it looked like it might be cold at night, she ordered extra heaters. She would send me weather updates and encouragement. And on the night of - she would magically appear out of nowhere with a question or comment to make your experience even better. Truly, my friends and family had a lovely stay and an AMAZING wedding. It went off without a hitch and I was so relaxed the day of because I knew Alice had it all under control. I cannot recommend Villa Oliviero enough. (Also the food from Maria and the service from Gennaro and the other staff was spectacular.) 10/10

Villa Oliviero is unlike any other villa on the Amalfi coast. We stayed here with our closest friends and family for our wedding that took place here as well. It was the best week of all of our lives! Not just because the views are incredible and the villa is stunning but the staff makes you feel like family. Gennaro went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. Everyone at the villa is warm, generous and kind. My wedding was beyond my wildest dreams, The food, service, bar, wedding planner and all her recommendations (Alice) was OUTSTANDING! I cried when it came time to leave because I felt like family. Thank you Villa Oliviero for the indelible memories. We can not wait to come back!

This is a review for a non-wedding related stay - we just stayed for a vacation! We stayed in the Li Galli room which has an amazing private outdoor terrace and the most perfect view of the sea and cliff side. The pool and main terrace area also have perfect views. The service was excellent. Breakfast delicious. We would absolutely return and wouldn’t change a thing! For future travelers - there are a LOT of stairs involved to get up to the villa (from the villa down to the beach/town, we counted about 450/500 stairs total - we are active, in our late 20’s and early 30’s and doing this every day in the very hot weather several times a day got cumbersome by the end of our trip), so if you have trouble with stairs you might need to look elsewhere, which is a shame because this villa is PERFECT. Someone from the villa did help us carry our bags up and down which was great. Hope to be back soon!!

Where to begin. After a quick google search of spots to have a destination wedding on the Amalfi coast, we quickly found and fell in love with Villa Oliviero. Over the next 10 months or so we coordinated our special day with the wedding planner Alice, and the logistics with Nello. After months of looking at images and reviews and others weddings at the villa I thought I knew what to expect. But everything completely exceeded my expectations. It was a total dream. Despite the terrible weather on our big day, everyone had the most amazing time. All our guests told us it was the most special wedding they had ever been to, that the food was amazing and we were all in complete awe of the views. The pictures simply cannot do this magical place justice. Our stay in Villa Oliviero has been the happiest time of our lives. We were very sad to leave. If you are considering renting the villa or having your wedding there, don’t hesitate! Just do it. You won’t have any regrets. Thank you to all of the staff and family for giving us an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives.

I never take the time to write reviews but Villa Oliviero and it’s amazing staff deserve praise. Villa Oliviero and it’s staff led by Genaro beyond exceeded my expectations for our wedding. The Villa is stunning and it was a lifetime of happiness to have my loved ones altogether in a beautiful place. Genaro and the rest of the staff made us feel at home and comfortable. Any nerves about the wedding were immediately washed away by seeing how the staff cared about how the wedding turned out as much as we did. We are already looking forward to a time we can return to Villa Oliviero. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Where do I begin? ||||The Why.||My wife and I just had our Wedding at Villa Oliviero on Sunday May 5th 2019. We rented this villa for four nights after seeing photos on social media. This was a big trip for us and everything was planned remotely without seeing/ experiencing our wedding selection first hand. ||||The Prep.||Although we were nervous in planning, Alice helped us throughout the way and made sure everything was exactly what we wanted. Communication was great throughout our planning journey and it shows that the entire staff at Villa Oliviero is up to speed and well informed about each situation. ||||The Arrival.||Upon arrival, the staff greeted us and our party and the bottom of the hill where a car can no longer travel. The staff took our luggage all the way up to the Villa, it was a much longer walk up than we expected, but it is much easier not having to carry your bags. After a thorough check in process including a tour of the property and amenities including the hot tub, pool and sauna, we all settled into our rooms. The view basically anywhere at the villa is absolutely stunning. The villa had more than enough room to host our entire guests for meals and drinks at any time of the day. ||||The Wedding.||From dusk to dawn, the entire staff at the Villa was extremely organized an efficient and not a hair out of place. Unfortunately, our destination wedding was accompanied by some of the most unfortunate weather... clouds, rain and wind. We originally planned to have the ceremony on the Red Terrace for it's detail and beauty, the weather wanted otherwise. Since it was raining on and off, the staffed moved all of the seating from below to a different terrace and back down again once the clouds had cleared; although I'm sure it was a hassle to constantly move everything back and forth, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and make the wedding perfect. After the ceremony, the waiters were ready with drinks and appetizers for the cocktail hour, glasses never empty and the apps were fantastic. While we continued shooting pictures, our guests were enjoying the cocktail hour until they were seated at the perfectly symmetrical imperial table. The waiters were nothing but professional and met the expectations of a fine dining establishment. Since we did not try any of the food beforehand, we were nervous with how our choices would turn out. We stuck to a seafood, pasta and fish meal; the portions were perfect and the flavors were amazing. All of our guests were taken away (and we have some picky eaters). ||||The End||This was an amazing decision and the value far outweighs the price. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a destination wedding in the magical town of Positano. My wife and I did spend a lot of time planning on our end, which made it easier with the wedding planner from the Villa, but if you do your homework and properly relay your wants to the planner then you can trust her completely. I definitely look forward to renting the villa out for another event in the future. Special thanks to the chef for the phenomenal food and best pizza hands down.

We rented Villa Oliviero in August 2018 for our wedding and had an amazing experience. All of the staff were very helpful and Genaro really went out of his way to accommodate us and made sure our special day would be unforgettable. The villa was clean, peaceful and beautiful. Alice organized everything and did a great job. She deserves 5 stars as a wedding planner, she really made sure that we had 0 stress. She did magic that day and our wedding was that much better. She also has a great taste when it comes to flowers, they were beautiful and fresh. Some guests couldn’t believe they were real. The music was extraordinary and the wedding cake was exactly like the picture we provided. Food was delicious especially the Risotto, it was one of the highlights. Nello was very pleasant and lenient. We established good communication with him and he was very understanding. Our guests were happy and told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Everything exceeded our expectations. If you are planning a wedding or anniversary, we strongly recommend villa Oliviero. It is worth every penny. It is an unforgettable experience and we will definitely return in the future.

We rented Villa Oliviero from Sept 5-8, 2018. It was an unusual date range due to other bookings, but it was perfect for us. |The staff is perfect, kind, professional and the food is wonderful. The Oliviero family are amazing; Nello with booking logistics and Alice with her meticulous wedding planning. The location is high up above Positano and intensive on walking, but it is worth every step. Our family had the greatest time, enjoying breakfast on the white terrace every morning. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and Alice has a great network of vendors (florist, photographer, live band, etc). I would absolutely do it all over again. We are talking about our 10 year anniversary 😀

Villa molto bella, e anche le camere non sono da meno! La vista toglie il fiato, sconsigliata per sfaticati in quanto dalla strada più vicina ci sono un circa 4 min di strada con scalini, naturalmente le valigie ve le portano i facchini. Sicuramente è un luogo da vivere quasi unicamente li sul posto in quanto si può godere di tutti i comfort e di conseguenza inutile spostarsi. Non ho potuto godere della cucina della villa in quanto noi abbiamo soggiornato ora ad inizio stagione per cui usufruivamo della cucina come meglio credevamo potendo anche cucinare ma senza la presenza di uno chef. Tornando a noi ve la consiglio vivamente!
