We have been to Positano before and the Sirenuse is a most fantastic hotel of the highest quality for decades. |Most Recently- we rented Villa Dei Fisici in Positano for our family of 15 and it was perfect.|Elegant, absolute best location, AAA clean, as represented and all professional…polite and capable in house service. |Highly recommend on many levels. |The pictures almost define the property and experiences. ||Miami Beach residents

To say that our stay and experience at the Villa was magical is an understatement. From the moment David greeted us upon our arrival to the last day it was pure perfection. My daughters wedding was like a fairytale. Again, David made sure everything was done perfectly. The breakfast cooked by the resident Chef was fresh and delicious, and he also prepared all the wedding food which was simply outstanding. The accommodations are amazing and the house staff was so kind and catered to our every need. They felt like family. The pool and the views are second to none. The flowers, and grounds and rooms are kept impeccably clean. It was the stay of a lifetime a truly amazing trip and experience!

Beautiful Villa in Positano with proffesional cooking appliances to satisfy a proffesional chef available to cook your private parties. Superb pool area with bar. Minimarket close by with delivery service. Short walking distance to restaurants and beach. Do know that have will get good exercise walking up and down stairs in Positano. Do not bring a car. You can rent a scooter nearby to visit sorrento an Amalfi Coast, or just hire a personal driver to drive you about.

We spent 5 days enjoying Positano and the coast with this Villa as our home base. Pros: the house itself is beautiful and very spacious with a great terrace, great views and pool, and the house manager, David, is wonderful and very accommodating. It has large beautiful bathrooms, with good air conditioning as well. The housekeeper is also terrific. Cons: the house is a bit tired and needs to be refreshed to be at the top luxury travel, where it is priced. While he was lovely, the house needs a better cook. But the real challenge is getting to/from the house. This house is not meant for people who are not extremely fit and wanting to do lots and lots of stairs and climbing. If you just want to hang at the house, it's wonderful. There is no car access to the house. David was very kind to arrange a tiny car on demand, but it's not practical. My suggestion is they have to buy their own golf cart -- others had them in Positano, and it would be a game changer for the experience of this house.

Five unforgettable days in this fantastic historic villa in Positano. The staff is very helpful. The villa always clean in every corner. Very comfortable beds and beautiful solarium with pool and bar side. I hope to return soon to this paradise

Villa del Fisici is a beautiful property fantastic views over Positano,very spacious and comfortable,|Excellent bedrooms & bathrooms, nice kitchen.The swimming pool is fantastic & has its own bar.|9 of us stayed here and there was plenty of space for every body.The only thing i would say is that it is a good walk up the steps to the Villa. The Villa is truly magnificent. We reserved the Villa for a family vacation and it accommodated all 16 of us with ease. We used the entire Villa but have been told you can rent just a bedroom too. Franco could not do enough for us! He was a great asset to the beautiful Villa. Also the food prepared by Franco and the Chef was fabulous. Just can't say enough about what a great time we all had. Thanks Franco !!!

When I selected this villa for a group of friends, I knew I had selected a beautiful property with great amenities. What I wasn't prepared for was the fantastic service provided by Franco, the property manager. From the moment we arrived by minivans until leaving the villa 1 week later we could not have asked for more. I was advised by the rental agent to expect 4 hours of maid service daily, what I hadn't been told was that Franco would arrive at 6AM daily to bake fresh croissants every morning and prepare a buffet breakfast superior to that of most 5 star hotels. He made dinner reservations for us and came back in the evening from his home in the next town to make sure we were safely on the shuttle buses he had arranged to the restaurants. One of the highlights of the week was a dinner prepared by a chef and served to us on the terrace of the villa as we enjoyed watching the sunset over Positano. || The only downside to the villa is the walk back up to the villa from the lower part of town. It is approximately 15-20 minutes up many stairs. You can take the town bus most of the way or a taxi. We preferred to walk as it helped burn off the pasta and delicious food we couldn't pass up.|| I travel very frequently and always prefer to try something new but when I come back to Positano this is the place I'll be staying.

Had a lovely experiences at the Villa dei Fisici. It's quite high up the hill, but you're rewarded for the trek with an incredible view of Positano and gorgeous sunsets. It feels like you're the guest of a rich Italian family, staying their villa; no crowds, no packs of tourists. Just you and the white curtains rustling gently in the breeze. The grounds are very pretty - the building itself is rustic in the Amalfi tradition but the room is lovely and well-equipped. ||Franco was fantastic, making amazingly perfect Italian breakfasts and helping with any need. I left behind a item as I was leaving, and he even got it to the post office to ship it back across the Atlantic. THANK YOU!

Just returned from our week at Villa die Fisici. The villa is large, with a pool and has great views above the town. It is near a mini mart, which delivers and runs a tab, very handy for that bottle of Prosecco before dinner. There are eight bedrooms, two are part of a suite and share a bath (best for a family) and of the remaining six rooms with ensuite baths, one is quite small. All but that small room are bright, airy and have great views, nice conveniences like AC, balconies, good amount of outlets, magnifying mirrors etc.||What really distinguishes Villa die Fisici is the service personified by the manager Franco. Franco was there to make us an amazing lunch on our first day and breakfast every day including our last day when we left at 330am! And Franco breakfasts are amazing productions. He is absolutely charming and supremely helpful including arranging for a private chef for a dinner on the villa balcony. When one in our party was injured, Franco made sure care was arranged immediately. ||We had a wonderful time in Positano!

We rented the entire Villa out and were 16 family members from 8 yrs to 75 yrs traveling from the States. We had an amazing week! The Villa is just beautiful---the views-priceless! Location wise the Villa is situated high above the Sirenese Hotel/Eden Roc hotels etc. The rooms are all authentically decorated, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The AC worked well and the pool was refreshing on a hot day! ||||Franco, the caretaker is a gem! He could not do enough for us. He was kind, attentive and whatever we needed he provided. His service was exceptional and noteworthy!||||The Villa is a hike to get to and there are a lot of steep steps/hills ( I walk and exercise all the time and it was a workout) It takes about 10 minutes to go downhill walking the steps to get to the shopping area of the town. 15 min to the beach-downhill. Uphill allow for about 20 minutes from beach to villa if you are in good shape and able to walk easily--Much longer for those with physical challenges. We had two family members that have trouble walking. They were able to take a taxi near the villa to be in closer proximity to the beach/town when we went for the day. The taxi would drop them off near the villa home. The steps are many and steep and will definitely be a challenge for elderly people or folks that need assistance with walking/knee problems etc. Ladies, bring flat shoes with you! ||We went out to 2 restaurants for dinner in Montepertuso-La Tagliata and La Terra. They will both send a van to pick you up and the food was delicious!||We had a chef for part of the week who cooked delicious authentic Italian meals-(breakfast & dinner) Sitting outside on the terrace for dinner with views of the sea was spectacular. Also, there is a market down the steps right near the villa if you would like to buy groceries, wine, beer etc.||Villa Fisici is an absolute gem in Positano! This was my 3rd time to Positano and the experience of staying in a Villa was exceptional!

A group of 7 of us traveling together just spent a fabulous evening at the Villa dei Fisci. While the climb up to the hotel is a bit exhausting, the reward once you arrive- is a breathtaking view! Magnifico!! We had the entire top floor of the Villa, with a connecting balcony and totally enjoyed sipping our wine and chatting while watching the sun set. Be prepared to walk some steps down to the ocean floor, but what fun we had exploring the area. Breakfast was delicious as well! This place has charm and location dialed in... We plan to come back again soon, and rent the entire Villa next time. A good value considering the location and views.

C'est vrai.... il nous a fallu 1h30 pour trouver le chemin d'arrivée de la villa car elle nichée sur la colline et accessible......à pieds uniquement. MAIS quel bonheur d'entrer dans ces liuex, luxueux, chargés d'histoire. Il s'agit d'une très belle demeure avec quelques chambres et suites. Elle se situe sur les hauteurs de Positano, c'est le seul bémol, car depuis le centre de Positano juqu'à la villa il y a 465 marches ! Une fois l'éffort accompli...c'est le bonheur et le calme absolu. Franco, le maître des lieux est d'une gentillesse et d'une disposition totale. A REFAIRE

Villa fantastica posizionata in modo superbo , con vista unica su Positano. Camere uniche nel suo genere , con affreschi e panorami unici. Ottima accoglienza .Servizio Piscina incluso. Un solo week end non fà apprezzare la bellezza del posto . UNA VACANZA DA RE. Ci ritornerò appena possibile.

Penso senza alcun dubbio di aver soggiornato nell'abitazione più bella mai vista . I soffitti e le pareti della casa lasciano di stucco i servizi piscina bar biancheria e assistenza sono perfetti. La connessione wifi nel gran salone sempre illuminato permette di rilassarsi nel miglior modo, per non parlare della piscina situata proprio sotto la nostra suite... Davvero un sogno .. Una favola.

son stato a villa dei fisici in compagnia di 3 coppie di amici , abbiamo prenotato 3 suite : la suite red passion con iacuzzi idromassaggio,la blu sute e la green suite davvero uniche , molto eleganti tutte con vista mare .siamo stati accolti dalla sig. ra paola che ci ha offerto un magnifico cocktail .la villa è davvero molto elegante e ben curata , il bar vicino alla piscina afrodite è davvero unico molto elegante .ho trascorso intere giornate a parlar con i miei amici in piscina divertendomi e rilassandomi come non mi succedeva da tempo, per questi motivi consiglio a tutte le coppie di amici di scegliere villa dei fisici per una vacanza da re.
