Beautiful, right on the Ocean with stunning views, and direct access to the sea. If you have trouble with stairs or handicapped,I wouldn’t advise. There are no elevators and many (some steep) stairs, to get to pool, sea and room access. For us, it was of our favorite places we stayed, so peaceful.
I wished we had longer there!

Una lástima la villa es preciosa pero el personal de mantenimiento la usa con sus hijos pequeños, molestan, hacen ruido, impidiendo el descanso de los huéspedes, se meten en la piscina con juguetes, gritan, molestan en el desayuno. Los dueños deberían cuidar mejor este aspecto.

Wow, just wow! What an incredible spot, directly on the sea, historical, beautifully maintained, perfect for our 3 night stay as a couple. We had an incredible stay in the Moresca room, all the way at the bottom of the property. Incredible view from the balcony to the sea, quiet, serene, perfect access to swimming in the sea and a beautiful pool. Don’t let the negative reviews steer you away from this place. It is the Amalfi coast, it is an expensive place, the road is far from the sea, obviously you will have to walk many stairs, obviously you will have to pay for services. It’s the way the world works in this part of the world. The villa is absolutely stunning, all of the recommendations from the reception on boat rentals, restaurants, transportation were spot on, fantastic recommendations, we had amazing meals, met amazing locals to help us with boats and transport. The car park is extremely convenient as well. Anywhere you look on the coastal road you will be in danger as other reviewers have mentioned. It is a very busy road in the high season with scooters, cars, buses, pedestrians, etc. If you’re a smart traveler and not an ignorant tourist you will highly enjoy your experience at this Villa. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Thank you for an amazing stay on the Amalfi coast.

Somos de Argentina y estuvimos en Villa Scarpariello por 4 noches ya por tercera vez hace unos días. Volvemos cuando podemos ya que es una Hermosa villa rodeada de un entorno increíble de árboles, follaje, piezas artísticas antiguas y nada más y nada menos que con ese maravilloso Mediterráneo a sus pies. No puedo dejar de mencionar la atención inmejorable de la Gente que trabaja y está en el lugar, Federica, Francesco, Yenny y Luigi, uno de los dueños. Uno se siente como "en su casa", pero en un paraiso UNICO y muy acogedor.

Our three-night stay at the most beautiful villa on the Amalfi Coast was nothing short of magical.
With direct access to the sea and surrounded by vibrant flower gardens, truly felt unique and rare & we were so blessed to find it!
The stunning views from our bedroom, the terrace overlooking the shimmering waters, while having a glass of wine was what vacations stands for.

The villa was exceptionally well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly, special thanks to Luigi, & Christine they were a wonderful hosts!
The breakfast was better than we expected, with all fresh products & basically everything you need - bakery, eggs&bacon, fresh OJ, cup of cappuccino.
You have to pay for extra cup of coffee.

The communication through WhatsApp made everything rather easy & fast, without overwhelming us with personnel.
And it added to this serene peacefulness of the place!
If you want to escape - this is the place to hide!

While the location was a bit off the main tourist path (to Amalfi village is 20 min walk), which might not suit those looking for nonstop hustle and bustle, it added to the charm of our getaway.

The closest restaurant & pizzeria is 5 min walk & it was great!

The other evening we took a golf car ride to Ravello, which we suggest as it’s much nicer & we found out also less pricey than taxi.

One of the worst places I’ve stayed in. The “hotel” is like something from the 1960s and is way below modern acceptable standards. There is no WiFi and there is no modern facilities. Rooms are terrible and uncomfortable. There are no staff and those who you interact with don’t speak english. There is over 100 steps to be taken up and down to rooms. And if you need any help or towels it’s extra costs. Literally. If you need help with your luggage it’s €10 per item. Really! And €5 for towels to use. When we left early we were moving large suitcases and one of the workers walked past my small girlfriend on steep steps with the case and just watched her struggling. Please do not stay here.

O ponto positivo inegável desta Villa é que realmente é uma casa lindíssima e que nos faz sentir a viver numa verdadeira casa típica da costa italiana. Para além disso, tivemos oportunidade de conhecer o staff que foi muito simpático connosco. O mesmo não se pode dizer dos anfitriões Assunta e Francesco. Não sabem de todo receber hóspedes, zero simpatia e zero atenciosos. À chegada foi nos aberto o portão e entregue as chaves, não houve se quer umas boas-vindas, uma apresentação geral da Villa ou a partilha de algumas sugestões, apenas, nos foi dito qual era o nosso quarto, ficamos sem perceber se foi por não falar inglês, tal foi a ausência de comunicação… Durante a estadia ninguém percebeu se havia ou não uma recepção, como era dito, e os restantes serviços pareciam também inexistentes. Faziam chegar as informações e comunicações por email, como solicitação de dados para o check-in, o que não é nada prático, uma vez que, estavamos de férias.
Durante a estadia consumimos 4 cafés expresso que um dos membros dos staff gentilmente nos trouxe, que foram cobrados no final no valor de 5€ cada, um valor manifestamente desadequado com o serviço que era prestado. Não só a questão do valor, mas achamos uma desconsideração a cobrança desses cafés, quando não houve qualquer cortesia por parte dos anfitriões, nem umas águas nos foram disponibilizadas no quarto. Apenas, nos foi deixada uma chaleira (nada para a utilização da mesma), uns pratos empilhados, e uns copos de plástico (não deixa de ser irónico uma villa de “luxo” que cobra 5€ por um café disponibilizar copos de plástico)… 
Em suma, a casa é ótima e acabou por fazer valer a pena a experiência, apesar de ser evidente uma enorme falta de manutenção, em contrapartida, o serviço é uma miséria… Qualquer coisa que precisem aconselho a dirigirem-se primeiro ao staff, pois certamente encontrarão uma maior disponibilidade e simpatia. 
P.S. Antes de partilhar esta avaliação, expusemos o nosso descontentamento à Assunta, e a sua resposta foi “é a sua opinião, que não concordamos”, esta resposta mais que evidencia a atenção que têm com as pessoas que recebem.

I will t to be as objective as possible and listing facts.
Positive:
- the villa is beautiful
- the direct access to the sea is great
Negative:
- the entrance of the villa is on a busy street in a very dangerous spot. The car park is on the other side of the road; very dangerous to cross
. - the access to the sea opens around 8am and closes around 6pm. Meaning that if you want an early swim or a late swim, you can’t do it.
- reception is supposed to be open between 9 annd 5, but i never saw it open, all communication were done via email ( thing that i personally like to avoid at least on vacation)
- there is a late check in fee of 40 euros if you check in after 5pm 😂 i mean that is not a relaxing start ( i discovered it after booking but maybe i missed it from the website, not sure).
- there is not actual service, you are left on your own. The is no bar or ‘real restaurant’. Both the dinner and the breakfast needs to be agreed in advance and have a fix price. If you want something on the spot you cannot have it.
- we manage to get 2 coffees from the kitchen. Nobody knew the price. We received the bill after checking out: 5 euros per espresso!!!
- the menu of the dinner is very limited and pricey ( 60 euros pp for starters, one main and dessert)
- the fridge in the room does not really work as is one of the those fridges without compressor

We were so excited to stay here before the trip but left completely disappointed and underwhelmed.

Some of our biggest complaints:
- 40euro charge to check in after 5pm (must check in between 2-5pm)
- 40euro charge to check out before 9am (must check out between 9-11am)
- I've never slept on a mattress as uncomfortable as these beds
- There is nobody on the premises for a majority of the time we were there if we needed anything such as waters, extra towels, basic amenities you would expect
- We received a very direct text during our stay outside food and beverage is strictly prohibited especially in the shared spaces such as the decks and pool but there was nobody on the property to order drinks or food at the pool from
- The hotel is directly off a busy street so we felt sort of trapped on the property. There is no pharmacy or market walking distance and these things are not provided on the property.

Visited for 5 nights on our honeymoon and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The grounds are beautiful and full of historical pieces displayed all over. Our hosts Kristina and Luigi were the most hospitable, welcoming, accommodating, and friendly people. They made sure we had anything we needed.

Meals at the villa are extra you sign up for and were some of the best home cooking we could ask for. The ingredients are brought in daily and prepared to order for you. I can’t thank Kristina enough for her delicious cooking.

We explored nearby towns by foot, taxi, and ferry. It’s easy to get around, just have to choose where you want to go. We also got picked up by boat at the hotel for our boat tour!

It was our favorite to have a gorgeous place to relax in between city adventures to lay by the pool, jump in the sea, or relax in our room.

Can’t thank you guys enough! Can’t wait to be back.

We recently stayed 2 weeks at the Villa Scarpariello. We were very happy with the people there especially Assunta at the front desk who went out of her way to purchase medicine for me when I got a jellyfish sting on my arm. She was accommodating in any way needed and was so nice to talk with any time we needed anything. Christina in the dining department was an absolute joy to be with. She makes a wonderful breakfast and is so nice to talk with. All other people working there are wonderful to work with.
The grounds are well maintained, gorgeous, and compliment the amazing historic buildings that make up the Villa. Access to the sea, the gorgeous views from our room, and the general calm and peacefulness of the Villa really make it an ideal place for rest and relaxation. There are never a lot of people crowding the pool or the beach access, making this a wonderful private retreat.
Yes there are a lot steps and no elevator on the property. For us, this was a way to get some good exercise in and it was a positive.
Transportation from the Villa is simple with Alfonso the golf cart service for short trips to Amalfi, Minori, or Ravello and the Ferry out of Amalfi or Minori runs quite often and is a good way to get to the other towns on the Amalfi coast. We also really loved a private boat tour of the coast with Francesco with Atrani Boat Service who picked us up at the resort and took us on a wonderful full day on the water with multiple swimming stops and stops in Positano, Atrani and really anywhere else we wished to go, and returned us home to the villa at the end of the day. Truly a highlight of our trip.

Non esiste un luogo più magico e affascinante di Villa Scarpariello. Ho avuto il privilegio di trascorrere alcuni giorni in questo autentico paradiso e sono rimasta davvero estasiata dal mio soggiorno.
La villa è un capolavoro architettonico che nasconde viste mozzafiato e scorci che catturano gli occhi ad ogni angolo.
La cura per i dettagli è evidente ovunque: dalle camere lussuosamente arredate alle aree comuni accoglienti, ogni aspetto è stato pensato per garantire un soggiorno indimenticabile.
Ogni passo rivela una nuova sorpresa, e l'atmosfera storica impregna ogni centimetro della Villa; un luogo dove il tempo sembra rallentare e si può davvero assaporare ogni istante in completo relax.
È un gioiello incastonato nella costiera amalfitana, un rifugio romantico, un sogno diventato realtà. La posizione strategica consente di raggiungere con facilità meraviglie come Ravello, Amalfi, Minori e tutte le mete più ambite della costiera. Consiglio vivamente a chiunque cerchi un'esperienza indimenticabile di concedersi il dono di soggiornare in questo angolo di paradiso.

Increíblemente bello lugar de la costa amalfitana. Hotel y apartamentos con un delicioso sabor antiguo, muy bien conservado. El desayuno en la terraza con el mar a la vista es inigualable y la amabilidad de Luiggi y su hermana es espléndida. La bajada al mar simplemente gozosa y el descanso en las hamacas (con visera incorporada), fabuloso.
