We got married at Villa Clodia in October of this year and it was the most incredible experience! The entire team made every day (we rented out the villa and several additional units for 5 nights) the most special and memorable experience! Every single guest (35 total) said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! There are not even words to describe how amazing the team was and how easy they made it for us! The villa was so beautiful and the whole town is so friendly and loves the people who stay there! I would give more than 5 stars if I could! ❤️thank you so much Charlotte and team!

If we could give more than 5 stars for our experience with Villa Clodia, we would! Where do we even start with reviewing the villa, the staff, and our incredible wedding weekend? The photos of the villa don't even do it justice -- the rooms were beautiful and even better than pictured, the bathrooms were newly updated, the pool, outdoor space, and view were by far more beautiful than what any image or video could do justice. Everything was clean, well maintained, and gorgeous. While the breakfast buffet had a small selection, everything was always delicious and it was a huge hit with our friends and family staying with us at the villa. Everything was fresh every day, and the staff were accommodating with any dietary requirements (my niece is allergic to eggs and everything was always labeled) and freshly made coffee every day!
There aren't enough kind words to offer the incredible staff at Villa Clodia. Everyone was so kind, accommodating, and you can tell they love their jobs. Even the staff where we had language barriers were kind, patient, and had some fun with trying to communicate with one another. The staff were one of the highlights for many of us, receiving care and help throughout our stay. The service overall was by far the best service I have received at any hotel/accommodation in years.
We planned our wedding from the Netherlands and while Italy is not too far, we did everything through email/chat/calls. The communication between myself and Letizia and Charlotte was always spot on. They will answer any and all questions for you -- there are no silly or small questions to ask. Their professionalism and quick response time made wedding planning almost easy to do! They provided us with recommendations for our vendors and we went with their top recommendations for DJ and florist, and my gosh they were right with their recommendations! I can't imagine what our wedding would have been like without Charlotte and Letizia, all their support, their kindness, and their love. It truly felt like we all became a family during our time together, and I finally understood why people would mention crying at the end of their stay -- it felt like leaving home!
I could continue on with the incredible experience we all had at the villa, but I'm afraid there just wouldn't be enough time or space to do so. The best experience and wedding EVER!

My husband and I were blown away by our whole wedding experience at the Villa Clodia. It feels like you’ve stepped into a movie! Manziana is the sweetest town with really cute shops, cafes and gelato spots. The Villa itself is so beautiful! Each room is beautifully decorated and the views from the windows are crazy! I couldn’t get over how stunning everything is. My party had so much fun swimming in the pool, walking into the town for wine and gelato. The staff is beyond amazing especially Charlotte. She was so sweet and made the wedding planning seamless. I was worried planning a wedding in other country would be difficult but it all went great. The wedding day itself was perfect! The villa recommended the perfect DJ and photographer and our whole party had a great time. I am so happy with the whole experience and I can’t wait to go back!!! We can not thank Villa Clodia enough for making our wedding an unforgettable experience. I feel like I had the best wedding ever and I left a part of my heart in Manziana.

È il posto ideale per una fuga dal caos della città, ma anche per festeggiare e naturalmente per un matrimonio immersi nella natura e nella storia. Le camere sono principesche, ognuna con un dettaglio che la rende diversa dalle altre, ma tutte arredate con la stessa cura. Guardare il sole che sorge dalla mia camera è stato un momento di puro relax e bellezza. Lo staff è super cortese e disponibile. La responsabile che gestisce gli eventi e i matrimoni è molto preparata e attenta ai dettagli. I padroni di casa sono appassionati e super ospitali. È uno di questi posti che, come entri, ti senti a casa, coccolato e a tuo agio. La terrazza ha una visita mozzafiato e già solo per quella varrebbe la pena passare lì del tempo. Nelle vicinanze c'è un parco meraviglioso per gli amanti delle passeggiate o anche solo per riscoprire un po' di natura. Io ci tornerò sicuramente e non vedo l'ora di organizzare lì un evento.

One of my all-time favourites in Italy, especially for events. A tremendously beautiful location with beautiful art and furniture. Absolutely clean, well-equipped rooms, very helpful and friendly staff and a great outdoor area. Nicely located in Manziana, with high quality restaurants in walking distance. We will definitely visit again soon.

My family and I have spent two summer vacations at this wonderful villa in the charming town of Manziana. The setting is gorgeous, the rooms were wonderful, comfortable and large and the staff is so friendly, helpful (planning excursions and in-site events) and professional that we always felt very well cared for. It’s a perfect place, about an hour away from Rome, to feel immersed in the Italian countryside.
Villa Clodia is a must-do experience.

Il Relais è gestito molto bene dall famiglia Scanu si trova a Manziana dalla parte nord occidentale del lago di Bracciano. Piccolo borgo, pulito e con qualche peculiarità storica, è un' oasi di tranquillità e di bellezza paesaggistica.
Camere confortevoli e pratiche.
Colazione e litri servizi di livello.
Ha una piscina con vista del lago e dell campagna circostante formidabile.

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary at Villa Clodia in Manziana, and I can honestly say it was a dream come true. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect — the setting, the hospitality, the charm of the villa, and the warmth of the staff made this one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives.

Charlotte and Letizia went above and beyond in every way. Their attention to detail and genuine care made us feel so welcome and special. The staff was equally incredible — kind, professional, and full of heart. A very special mention to Nelo, who helped with our anniversary dinner. His spirit and humor made the evening so joyful and memorable.

The villa itself is stunning — full of character, elegance, and surrounded by the peaceful beauty of Manziana. It felt like we had stepped into a storybook. While we visited several cities throughout Italy, Manziana was by far our favorite. The quiet magic of this place is unmatched.

The staff also arranged for our entire party of 12 to enjoy a unforgettable e-bike ride through the Italian countryside. A definite must!!

If you're considering Villa Clodia — book it. Whether it's for a special event or simply a peaceful Italian escape, this place is pure perfection. We are already dreaming of returning someday. We came from America to get married at Villa Clodia and it was everything we dreamed of and then some. We spent 4 nights total at the villa, and Leonardo, Letizia, Charlotte and team took care of everything from the time we landed at Rome airport to whenever we got on the train in Manziana to head to our next stop. The dinners they made were all extraordinary, and the peace and quiet of the villa combined with the extraordinary views made it an unforgettable experience.

We had our dreams come true having our destination wedding here, as it was nothing short of magical. We stayed on the property for five nights with our closest family who were going to attend the wedding, and from start to finish, everything was perfect.

The venue itself is breathtaking—the hotel, the grounds, the entire atmosphere feels like something out of a dream. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the incredible staff. Letizia and Charlotte were the heart and soul of our planning process. Their warmth, flexibility, and consistent communication (always replying within 24 hours!) made what could’ve been a stressful experience feel easy and exciting. It was clear from the start that their only priority was making sure we were happy and that our wedding day was everything we’d dreamed of—and it absolutely was.

We hosted breakfasts for our guests and a pizza party rehearsal dinner on site, all of which were seamless, fun, and delicious. And the wedding day itself? It went off without a hitch and was, genuinely, the best day of our lives.

We are forever grateful for the care and love that went into every detail. If you're considering this venue—do it. You won’t regret it.

My daughter selected the Villa Clodia for her destination wedding and it was a spectacular event bringing friends and family together from EU, US and Indonesia to celebrate this event together allowing us to celebrate and get to know our extended families! The entire staff was warm, very helpful and especially the owner along with Charlotte and Letizia in bringing together a worry-free event. The food was delicious and really show-cased the attention and skills of the staff!
Charlotte and Litizia attended to every detail to ensure success and really showed the experience and skills in managing every detail of the event making it truly worry-free.
The location and the amenities were also amazing. Villa Clodia sits on top of a hill and the window of our room looked out on the rolling hills and the nearby lake and providing an amazing and peaceful view in the morning. The pool was perfect, relaxing and overlooking the same view.

Siamo state a Villa Clodia per due giorni per staccare dalla routine romana… e che dire: è stata una meraviglia.
La villa ha mantenuto intatta la sua identità, e appena varchi il cancello ti sembra di fare un tuffo in un’altra epoca. Ogni angolo è curato con gusto e attenzione, la pulizia è impeccabile, e si respira un’atmosfera calda e autentica.

Lo staff è gentilissimo e accogliente, sempre presente ma mai invadente.
La vista dalla camera è semplicemente mozzafiato, di quelle che ti riconciliano con il mondo. Anche il nostro cagnolino è stato accolto con amore, libero e felice come se fosse a casa sua — e infatti è così che ci siamo sentite: a casa.

Un soggiorno che lascia il segno.

I had my absolute dream wedding at Villa Clodia. Charlotte and team made the experience so seamless. Planning a destination wedding without ever having seen the location, has never been easier!! They honored all my requests and exceeded all expectations. The rooms were beautiful, large and very clean. We fit 33 people!! The rehearsal pizza party was gorgeous and the wedding itself was magical. You can tell how detail oriented they are!! Staff was excellent and very attentive. I couldn’t be happier with their service and care. They helped me select all of my vendors which were absolutely amazing, arranged transportation, and we very responsive to any request or question I had in the process. 10/10 highly HIGHLY recommend. Still waiting for my professional pictures but here are some from my phone!!!

E' proprio una villa, che ha mantenuto nel tempo - ha una storia secolare - le sue caratteristiche di casa, quindi sembra di andare a trovare la nonna. ||Noi abbiamo dormito nella dependance, comodissima per il parcheggio (gratuito) ed indipendente dal corpo di fabbrica principale, accessibile con pochi gradini e un ascensore. L'area piscina è bellissima, con un panorama invidiabile.||La camera avrebbe bisogno di un po' di vita: concepita per tre o quattro persone, ha una tenda che divide il letto matrimoniale dai divani letto e un arredamento veramente poverino. Il bagno è comodo, ma un po' retrò anche lui. Televisore invisibile dal letto, per quanto è piccolo. Sono presenti phon e frigobar.||Per contro, il personale gentilissimo si è prodigato in indicazioni turistiche e nel soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza alla colazione (ricca). L'hotel non ha ristorante e Manziana offre poco, meglio spostarsi sul lago. Prezzo forse un po' altino (120 euro) per un tre stelle.

We stayed here from 6-13th August and I couldn't adequately describe how amazing it is. There isn't honestly anything negative that I can think of. Leonardo and Charlotte are really helpful and will welcome you with smiles. They never seemed to tire of answering my many queries beforehand.||The eleven en-suite rooms are spotlessly clean, large, with lots of storage and the added bonus of air-conditioning. There is flexibility offered with twin beds/cot/double bed options in some rooms and three rooms are situated in an annexe apart from the main house - perfect for noisy guests!||The villa is situated in a small town which has bars, pizzerias, a gelateria, and small shops. However it is within very easy reach of the coast (20 mins drive); Lake Bracciano - which also has various beaches and some excellent restaurants - and Rome - the train station is five. mins walk from the villa and takes you straight into Rome. Fuimicino Airport is around 1 hour by car and there are two very reliable taxis available.||Catered meals are offered by the villa and we had a celebration birthday lunch which was outstanding and will be remembered forever.||The only negative I can think of was that we had to leave!
