If you are in the Aviano area for drills (or stationed) at the base... or just in the Pordenone area, you've got to book a wine tasting at Pitars. The vineyard is beautiful regardless of the time of year, the staff is extremely friendly and the wine tasting was nothing short of amazing. The wine is superb and the prices are excellent - you can't go wrong, so be sure to pick a bottle. (we picked up three cases and I have NO REGRETS. :)

Pitars delivered an absolutely exceptional experience for our large group event! Planning a wine tour and tasting for 45 people all the way from Australia could have been daunting, but Ilaria made the process incredibly seamless. Her responsiveness and helpfulness via email during the planning stages were truly impressive. Upon our arrival, we were genuinely amazed by the beauty of the venue and the warmth of the welcome.

A huge thank you to Ilaria and the entire Pitars team for their outstanding hospitality in hosting such a significant event. The ability to conduct the tour and tasting entirely in English was a fantastic bonus, making the experience accessible and enjoyable for everyone. From the exquisite wines and the stunning venue to the impeccable hospitality, every aspect was faultless. This made our event a truly unforgettable experience for all our friends and family. We wholeheartedly recommend Pitars for their incredible wines, beautiful setting, and fantastic service!

Siamo stati accolti da Vanessa per una degustazione ed è stata una mattina piacevole in sua compagnia, ci ha fatto visitare la cantina con la spiagazione dei vini dalla raccolta dai filari all'imbottigliamento, ci ha raccontato la storia della famiglia Pitars e poi ci ha accompagnato con la degustazione versandoci vari tipi di vini tutti molto buoni. Stasera ho aperto una bottiglia di Refosco duemila18.....a dir poco commovente.
Azienda con vini buonissimi. E la location è bellissima, perfetta per eventi di ogni tipo.
Il personale che ti accoglie, è preparato e disponibile alle varie richieste.
Prezzi più che onesti per la qualità che propongono.

Esperienza piacevolissima.
Bella location, con una sede elegante e una vista sui vigneti e il territorio circostante dall'ultimo piano. La visita guidata è stata molto interessante, con un giro all'interno della sede stessa e nei sotterranei dove risiede il vino per l'affinamento in botte.
La degustazione poi è stata generosa, e i buoni vini assaggiati raccontati con passione e competenza.
Il personale è stato molto accogliente, gentile e alla mano, e ci ha fatto trascorrere una bellissima mattinata.
Da ripetere in futuro, portando qualche amico a conoscere la realtà.
Consigliatissimo.

What a great day. We went for a retirement ceremony and stayed for a tour and wine tasting. Let’s start outside. An amazing beautiful place set in a wine field. The rows and rows of viniards were stunning to see. Once you walk into the building you will be amazed and the selection of wine available. We sat upstairs for the ceremony and the architecture is out of this world. Look around and explore what is there to see. Look at how the joists come together and you will be amazed. Great location for a ceremony by the way. After the ceremony we did the tour and then a wine tasting. Absolutely a blast to be there. They have wine for all price ranges and the staff was extremely informative and professional. The location is perfect and you will not be disappointed. Thank you for the great experience.

This is a hidden pearl in Northern Italy. Fantastic wine, service, and people that know and understand what winemaking is all about. Although we had no tasting appointment ”Deborah” made us feel at home and provided us a tour of the cellar along with the wine tasting. We picked up our favorites and shipped it home. Shipping is a service they also provide. Our host was well informed and spoke near perfect English. I highly recommend you experience Pitars Winery.

Great wine tasting experience. Not booked in advance but Valentino gave us a nice explanation about their wines and the region. Amazing location, excellent cost-benefit wine, for sure or fixed destination when visiting the region again.
