The staff is truly exceptional—so hospitable and welcoming from the moment you arrive. Monica, Raffella, and Elena have been absolutely wonderful to work with, setting up meetings with potential vendors and guiding us through every step of the planning process. Their support has been instrumental in helping us bring our wedding vision to life. Highly recommend!

Hosts were amazing. Almost as stunning as the villa and the view. We were there for a wedding and it was spectacular. Everything was well planned and executed seamlessly. We had the whole villa for the weekend. All the wedding activities were onsite. Day of arrival pizza party under the trees allowed all the family and friend to connect / reconnect if we hadn't already by the pool earlier in the day. Day of wedding brunch on the terrace set us all up nicely for the afternoon ceremony in the garden. Appetizers / drinks after pictures continued in the same fashion as everything leading up to dinner. Spot on and well thought out. Loved the pickled quail eggs! Finally, dinner... The Villa team set up the most beautiful and elegant table I have ever seen. Flowers were gorgeous, candles and place setting over the top. All in all, a most magical weekend celebrating the newlyweds. Raffaella, Monica and Florian were attentive and made the time spent with them a beautiful experience. Highly recommend.

We were so excited to stay in this villa but unfortunately it was a bit of a dissapointment, maybe due to the end of the season. ||I guess we got upgraded to the main villa instead of a room with jacuzzi. Villa was of course very beautiful and our room was huge. It felt like you were in a museum but in the end it was a bit of a eerie stay, it felt that it was already closed for the season. ||Our rooms were cold (luckily with the AC we were able to heat them), at first we didn't have any hot water for the shower and the bathroom was super cold during the entire stay - they fixed the hot water in the end of our stay. There were also these Asian stink bugs in the rooms, which was a bit of inconvinience even though they don't do anything but neverthless not a nice feeling to share a room with them. At the end of our stay we tried to close all the window panels for them to stay away, as they tend to crawl inside for some warmth.||Breakfast was actually quite ok for couple of mornings. It would get boring for a longer stay and I do understand other guests saying it could be much better in a place like this.||We would have wanted to swim but it was too cold with no hot water in the shower so skipped that and no jacuzzi option either, which was one of the reasons we picked to stay in this accommodation. All in all, it was such a let down for us.

We planned our entire wedding at Villa Alta from the U.S. without visiting once — and it was the best decision we ever made. Monica and Rafaela guided us through every step with care, professionalism, and so much heart. The venue is even more stunning in person than the photos, and the staff went above and beyond to make our micro-wedding weekend flawless. From the ceremony to the pizza party and pasta class, every detail was perfect. Our guests are still raving about it! We stayed here for 5 nights to relax at the end of our holiday. Beautiful old villa with lovely views. The pool area with Jacuzzi makes you feel like you are at a spa. There is a train station and buses nearby but the trains only really operate morning/early afternoon (but allowed us a quick trip to Lucca - 10mins each way). Both trains and buses will need you to use an app in advance to get tickets. We got lunches at the villa and went to the local village restaurant most nights for dinner, which we loved. The village restaurant is not open Wednesdays so we got a bus into Pisa and arranged for the Villa staff to pick us up later that evening. The option for transfers from railways stations/from Pisa/to the airport was great (paid) as we didn't have a car.
All staff at Villa Alta are wonderful. A big thank you to Florjan, Rafaella and Monica for making our stay so special.

Immerso tra ulivi e oleandri, fichi d’India e agavi, tra aranci e cipressi sorge questa villa che dall’alto domina il tratto tra Lucca e Pisa da cui si può scorgere la torre di Pisa. Location da sogno che ti permette di godere nel pieno silenzio la natura a bordo piscina. Le parti comune della villa e le stanze sono tenute alla perfezione. Noi abbiamo soggiornato nella suite mimosa di dimensioni enorme e con arredi come tavoli, sedie e lampadari di design. Immersa in un parco bellissimo la piscina ha la tranquillità che ci si aspetta dall’ambiente. |Prioritarie e personale molto gentile e disponibile. Inutile dire che è un posto da tornare mille i una notte.

Nous avons séjourné à la Villa Alta à San Giuliano Terme avec nos enfants pour leur faire découvrir la Toscane… et le charme a opéré instantanément. 🌿

La propriété est tout simplement fabuleuse : un jardin enchanteur, des arbres majestueux, une lumière dorée à couper le souffle… Un décor de rêve, presque irréel, qui invite à la contemplation et au repos.

Mais parce que le lieu frôle la perfection, il mérite aussi des prestations à la hauteur. Le petit-déjeuner, par exemple, est très en dessous du standing : peu de choix, des jus industriels alors que des orangers chargés de fruits bordent la propriété – quel dommage ! Et la piscine ainsi que le jacuzzi gagneraient vraiment à être mieux entretenus.
Enfin notre salle de bains était vraiment très limite.

Un lieu magique, qui pourrait devenir exceptionnel avec quelques attentions supplémentaires ✨

We got married here in May 2024 and it was, without question, the most magical experience we could have hoped for. Planning a destination wedding from the UK could have been stressful, but thanks to Monica and Raffaella, the incredible sisters who run the villa, the whole journey was smooth, enjoyable, and even fun!

From our very first video tour, we knew Villa Alta was special. When we finally visited in person, stayed for a weekend, and then returned for our wedding, it felt like coming home. Monica and Raffaella were there for every detail – warm, responsive, and fully committed to making our day perfect. Their advice and local knowledge were invaluable, and they always made us feel like we were in safe hands.

The venue itself is breathtaking – panoramic views, peaceful surroundings, elegant rooms, and plenty of space for guests to relax and celebrate. It’s romantic, authentic, and truly unforgettable. Our guests are still talking about how magical the weekend was – and many are already suggesting we come back for our 10-year anniversary!

We couldn't recommend Villa Alta more highly. If you want a stress-free planning process, a stunning Italian setting, and hosts who genuinely care about making your day special, this is the place.

We recently had the absolute joy of hosting our wedding at Villa Alta, and we genuinely can’t put into words how incredible the experience was. From the moment we arrived, Monica and Raffaella went above and beyond – not just as hosts, but truly as our wedding planners in every sense.

They had every single detail nailed from start to finish, making the entire process feel seamless and stress-free. Their warm, welcoming nature made us feel completely at ease, and their organisation was second to none. Whether it was scheduling, décor, or managing logistics on the day itself, they were always one step ahead – ensuring we could just focus on enjoying the moment.

We also can’t recommend their suggested suppliers highly enough. Every one of them was professional, talented, and a pleasure to work with, which made everything run so smoothly. The food, when cooked by Sandra...simply wonderful!!! Mr.Florian's confidence as well as kindness provided a secure environment to relax and enjoy this slice of heaven...

Abbiamo trascorso qualche giorno in questa incantevole Villa, posizionata a 15 minuti da Pisa e da Lucca.
La location è stupenda, immersa nel verde e nel silenzio assoluto, personale accogliente e pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza.
La piccola piscina e la vasca idromassaggio sono incastonate tra agave e fichi d’india, cipressi e siepi di rododendri e immergersi per un bagno rinfrescante guardando il cielo e la vegetazione ti da una pace assoluta.
Le padrone di casa, persone davvero gentili, pronte a dispensare consigli su cosa vedere nei dintorni e a prodigarsi che tutto fosse soddisfacente.
Colazione a buffet, dolce e salato, con prodotti da forno e pasticceria.

Io e mio figlio Francesco abbiamo soggiornato in villa per 4 giorni e 3 notti in occasione del Campus annuale di Chitarra Jazz tenuto dal M°Alessio Menconi. La permanenza in villa è stata a dir poco piacevole, vista su tutta Pisa e dintorni, si è immersi nella natura essendo la villa circondata dal verde, munita di giardino, piscina e outdoor gym per chi volesse fare anche attività all'aperto. Colazione, pranzo e cena ottimi, un'eccellente occasione per assaggiare autentici prodotti toscani. Le proprietarie Raffaella e Monica cordialissime e disponibilissime sin dal nostro arrivo in aeroporto (ci hanno fornito il servizio Shuttle direttamente fino la Villa). Le camere sono dotate di affreschi caratteristici e di aria condizionata, pulite e ben tenute. Parlando con le proprietarie siamo venuti a conoscenza che non solo è una location molto gettonata per matrimoni ma ospita anche eventi musicali e culturali di vario genere, da concerti di musica fino a ritiri di yoga! La cosa, visti gli spazi della Villa, non ci ha sorpreso. Vivamente consigliata!!!

Villa in posizione strategica per le escursioni nei borghi toscani cosi come alle città di Lucca e Pisa. Eleganti gli ambienti interni e suggestivi i paesaggi collinari. Le padrone di casa Raffaella e Monica sono state accoglienti e disponibili dandoci preziosi consigli durante la nostra permanenza. Top!

Een warm welkom tijdens onze vroege aangekondigde komst. Wat een oprijlaan, zo mooi. We hebben genoten van onze 3 nachten verblijf hier. In de watten gelegd. Een chique accomodatie waar je je wel op je gemak voelt. De ontbijtruimte met buffet is geweldig, vers en gevarieerd. De kleinste kamer overtrof onze verwachtingen, zachte handdoeken een heerlijke regendouche, goede bedden, slofjes en ern minibar. Uitzicht op de tuin, wakker worden met vogelgeluiden. Genoten van het knusse zwembadgedeelte. Goede uitvalsbasis om Pisa, Lucca en Cinque terre te bezoeken en natuurlijk de beeldschone dorpjes in de buurt. Rafaella, Monica, Sandra en Janflor, iedereen informeet naar je, tijd voor ern praatje. En fantastische tips gekregen wat te bezoeken, restaurant tips. Wij komen heel graag een volgend keer terug, zou er zelfs voor omrijden. Ik beveel dit hotel van harte aan. Niet enkel als trouwlocatie maar ook zeker als hotelgast om hier tot rust te komen en je verwend te voelen. Dank jullie wel voor de fijne dagen, team Alta Villa.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 giorni e 2 notti in questa bellissima villa d’epoca in una posizione molto strategica (si trova tra Pisa e Lucca).
Abbiamo dormito nella stanza “Rosa”, molto pulita e curata, con letto a baldacchino e due finestre che affacciavano direttamente sul davanti della villa con un panorama mozzafiato.

Al nostro arrivo ci ha accolti la signora Monica che fin da subito si è resa disponibile e ci ha coccolati in questo bellissimo soggiorno.

La colazione a buffet è curata nei minimi dettagli ed è molto varia (da salato a dolce).

La villa presenta anche una piscina aperta tutto il giorno e abbiamo avuto il piacere di provare anche la vasca idromassaggio privata in mezzo agli ulivi.

Nel complesso è stato un soggiorno molto piacevole, da tornarci sicuramente per un weekend di tranquillità lontano dal caos della città.

Bellissima struttura immersa nella natura, un posto perfetto per rilassarsi , a pochi chilometri da Pisa.
Camere stupende con gli affreschi e molto spaziose.
La colazione si deve ordinare ed è davvero buona, disponibile anche per celiaci. Piscina sempre pulita e giardino super curato.
Le proprietarie sono due sorelle simpaticissime e super disponibili in tutto. Da ritornarci !

villa en lo alto de una colina conservada a la perfección. elegante, preciosa. Habitaciones bien decoradas. el personal es encantador y dispuesto a darte buenos consejos para actividades o salir a cenar. Hay que tener en cuenta que las habitaciones están en una segunda planta sin ascensor pero se te olvida enseguida cuando estas bañándote en su piscina y jacuzzi con vistas inmejorables. La terraza donde se sirve el desayuno también es preciosa.
