I’ve just returned from Tuscany after photographing the most incredible wedding at Podere San Giorgio, and I can honestly say this venue is nothing short of magical.

The setting is breathtaking — surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, and golden Tuscan light that photographers dream of. Every corner of the property feels authentic and full of character, with stunning stone buildings and beautiful outdoor spaces that create the perfect backdrop for a wedding day.

The staff were fantastic to work with, always helpful and welcoming, and made sure everything ran smoothly for the couple and their guests. From a photographer’s perspective, I couldn’t have asked for a better venue to capture such a special day — it truly showcases the beauty of Tuscany.

The most beautiful stunning wedding venue! We spend three amazing dream-days with our families and friends for our wedding weekend. We had the most beautiful time ever! At friday we had pool relaxing time with a fantastic pizza night! At the wedding day we had an amazing bellissima wedding dinner - fresh, local, saisonal, beautiful arranged. The quality of the food is over the moon - we loved every single course! The venue, the team and the food are so authentic and pure italian! The team is so professional, transparent and they know exactly what they do.
A big thank you at the Podere Team - everybody made a great job! We are full of beautiful memories and we‘ll never forget this place! Someday we‘ll return to Podere!

A Dream Wedding Venue!

This venue is absolutely stunning and perfectly located to host a beautiful gathering of family and friends. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the team has extensive experience with organizing weddings — everything was incredibly well arranged, which allowed us to fully enjoy the day without any stress.

The food was simply amazing. The pizzas on the pizza night were delicious, and the Bellissima dinner was a real highlight — flavorful, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the team. André and his team were incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely invested in making our wedding unforgettable. They were always ready to think along with us and went above and beyond to accommodate our wishes.

We couldn’t have wished for a better place to celebrate such a special moment. Highly recommended!

Nach unserer standesamtlichen Hochzeit im letzten Jahr durften meine Frau und ich hier unsere absolute Traumhochzeit feiern – schöner hätten wir es uns nicht erträumen können. Die Gebäude und das gesamte Gelände sind makellos gepflegt, geprägt von toskanischer Schlichtheit, Eleganz und zeitloser Schönheit. Von der Terrasse, auf der auch unsere Trauung stattfand, eröffnet sich ein atemberaubender Blick über die sanfte Hügellandschaft.

Vom ersten Kontakt bis zum letzten Abschied verlief die Kommunikation stets transparent, verbindlich und herzlich. Wir konnten vollkommen entspannen, denn um nahezu alles wurde sich gekümmert. Unsere Wünsche wurden diskret, präzise und mit großer Sorgfalt umgesetzt. Das Personal war warmherzig, unaufdringlich und hat mit unermüdlichem Einsatz dafür gesorgt, dass wir ein unvergessliches Traumwochenende erleben durften.

Kulinarisch blieb kein Wunsch offen: Vom Frühstück über den Brunch, die knusprigen Pizzen am Pizzaabend und die leichten Mittagessen bis hin zum festlichen Hochzeitsmahl am Samstag war alles von herausragender Qualität – stets perfekt zubereitet und liebevoll serviert.

Auch das Wetter meinte es gut mit uns. Zwar war es heiß, doch der alte Baumbestand spendete wohltuenden Schatten, und der großzügige, von einem malerischen Olivenhain umgebene Pool bot jederzeit erfrischende Abkühlung.

Wir sind rundum glücklich und hätten uns keinen besseren Ort für unsere Hochzeit wünschen können. Vielen Dank, dass wir diesen besonderen Moment an diesem magischen Ort erleben durften.

GRAZIE MILLE - We had an unforgettable stay at Podere San Giorgio. Everything was perfection, like a fairy tale from the moment we arrived. The hosts are wonderful, thoughtful, welcoming, kind, and extremely talented at their crafts. The views stun every time. The facilities are spacious and stunning. We were a large group staying at Podere for a one week yoga retreat where we practiced yoga, meditated, chilled by the pool, did Italian food workshops like pasta making, pizza making, tiramisu, indulged in the best food, and had a trip that marked everyone's heart forever. The staff went above and beyond to ensure all the guests were happy and satisfied. A true feat, they succeeded ten fold and we hope to return every year to this amazing location and team. Thank you Andrea, Anna, Andrea, Jeremy, Lucrezia, Marco, and the whole family at Podere for making our stay a dream come true.

Stayed three nights for our son's wedding but could have stayed here forever. This rustic farm goes a great job accommodating parties and making all feel welcome. The service and food were wonderful. The scenery was spectacular. The staff taught us to make pasta one evening and it was a fun group activity. Most of our meals were outside in a communal fashion and the staff did a great job explaining each food and wine selection. Don't go expecting modern facilities. There are no televisions, although the wifi was perfect. As written earlier, it's a bit rustic but that is in keeping with the setting. Consider this site for your wedding or other family event.

We celebrated our wedding at Podere San Giorgio in October and spent a few days here with a small group of friends and family. Andre has created a really beautiful place with an amazing team. We wouldn't change a thing about our stay. Andre was so incredibly helpful with the planning of our wedding, you can trust him to ensure the day runs smoothly. The rest of the team were great, all so helpful and friendly, we have never experienced such amazing customer service. The food was some of the best we ate whilst in Italy and the team made sure no one went hungry - so much food! I hope we can return one day!

Podere San Giorgio has a special place in our hearts because my husband and I got married here in July ❤ We fell in love with Podere as soon as we stepped in, and although this was the first place that we visited, we immediately knew that this was the perfect place to have our wedding. Andre and his team gave us a wedding of our dreams we never knew we had. From discussing our ideas, making us and our guests feel welcome from the moment we arrived, an absolutely magical ceremony, food and party, everything was better than we could have ever imagined. Andre has incredibly good intuition about what a wedding needs to be perfect. So if you are not certain about some things, you can trust him blindly and everything will turn out amazing. They put their heart and soul into everything they do from small flower details to an incredible 5 star meal with a farm to table approach accompanied by perfect wine. We can't thank Andre and his team at Podere enough for creating such a wonderful wedding weekend for us and the memories we will cherish for life. We can't wait to come back for our anniversary🥰

Cannot recommend Podere San Giorgio, Andrea and his team highly enough. We had a wedding for 60 at this location and it was exquisite. Everything went smoothly, the food was excellent, the location stunning and it was the most memorable experience. You will not be disappointed having your wedding here or even just relaxing with friends. We will be returning for our anniversary and can’t wait!

Andrea is an incredible host. We just had one night but felt incredible welcome in your beautiful house and gardens. It was the best stay we had in Italy. The place and food were amazing. Through Andrea and especially Alessio we felt super welcomed. The place is also really suitable for working or celebrations like weddings and/or birthdays.

Stayed here for two weeks with a retreat group and cannot say enough about how lovely this place is. The grounds are beautiful, calm and relaxing. The view is incredible. The buildings have classic charm but have been lovingly restored to be very comfortable. My room was on the ground floor in the main building with a queen bed with ensuite. The bed was very comfortable, had lots of pillows and a fluffy comforter. The bathroom had a hot shower with strong spray. It was not overly big but had a good use of space and the shared kitchen/living area between the two suites was fantastic. The pool is great and there is a lot of space on the property to find quiet.

The location is great. It is a short walk to Palaia, which I did frequently. There are lots of good walking/hiking areas out the front gate. Day trips to the hot springs, San Gimignano, Cinque Terre and Florence were all possible (though consider having Andrea hire you a van for Cinque Terre to make it easy for you!)

The cafe on site is excellent. The food is very good and they have a set menu as well as offer specials nightly. Alesso (head chef) is amazing; he worked in Michelin restaurants and brings that flavor and attention to detail to this property. Taking a gnocchi lesson with Alesso was a highlight of my trip. The best part of the cafe is they only use and source from local producers so they can tell you where everything on your plate is coming from. You can also have them set up farm trips to meet any of the producers, which was really special. Be aware that means you will only be eating things that are fresh and in season, like amazing peach juice instead of orange juice; I personally loved knowing I was supporting local farmers and doing my part to create sustainability. I also ate a TON of excellent food. And the wine by glass or bottle on site is the best I've ever had.

Andrea, the owner, is so eager to please you. Anything you want, just ask and he'll arrange. I really appreciated his restaurant recommendations, making reservations for us and all the little things he did daily to make my stay even better. You have a truly excellent host here and will be well taken care of! This is a wonderful place to relax and explore the Tuscan countryside.

Perfect in every sense. Very clean apartment with all the utilities that you might need. Thoughtful and welcoming staff who provide assistance all the time. Breathtaking view. Proximity to attractive towns and villages. Beautiful hikes tracks around. A cafe/ restaurant that allows you to enjoy a delicious authentic dinner without even leaving the farm. Olive tree surrounded “pool” for those hot summer days. A kid play area for the little ones. There is so much more that podere San Giorgio offers spiritually and it’s hard to put them in words. It’s a feeling that you take with you for life. Once you stay here, you will see how it becomes one of the best places you have ever visited.
