I would like to share my experience with Daniela as a wedding planner, who organized our civil wedding in Italy in 2022.

As German citizens living abroad, we entrusted Daniela as a local wedding planner to take care of planning our wedding in Italy. Unfortunately, the planning was not transparent for us and not as swift as we would have liked. Despite our request for early planning, we were repeatedly delayed, with the explanation that we still had plenty of time. This prevented us from being able to rely on some vendors by the time of the planning.

Another point of criticism concerns Daniela's recommendations regarding vendors. Contrary to our agreement, she recommended expensive vendors from cities like Florence and Prato, instead of supporting local businesses. Our wedding budget (which we had agreed upon with her in advance) was eventually exceeded by more than €10,000, and we would have liked a better overview from Daniela of potential savings and alternative, more affordable vendors.

On the day of the wedding, many arrangements were not adhered to. There were discrepancies in the implementation of details, including the ban on using mobile phones during the ceremony, the order of entry before the ceremony, the use of rice instead of olive leaves, poor coordination and communication with the guests, the absence of a gift table, and a lack of utensils during the cake cutting.

The worst part, however, was being informed shortly before the wedding that we could not legally marry. Despite repeated communication about my dual citizenship, Daniela assured us that everything was resolved. Shortly before the wedding, she informed us that there were complications, and we could not resolve the issue in time. Our wedding in Italy, planned for 1.5 years, therefore remains only a symbolic wedding.

Overall, we are deeply disappointed with Daniela's service and would have preferred a more professional and reliable support for one of the most important days of our lives.
