We first met them at my sister's wedding in Cancun in 2022 and when my sister got her photos back, there was no question about who we'd hire for our wedding in the Dominican Republic this year.

Working with Johnathan and Gisel was a great experience. They were very easy to work with from the start to finish! Our wedding planner Alba recommended Cossu Photography and once I looked through their portfolio I knew I wanted them to be our photographer! We booked them for a shorter amount of time(4-5 hours), but they captured so many amazing moments that were important to us. It rained on our wedding day too which made it more difficult to take photos outside, but they made it work and our photos turned out amazing. They really captured our personalities and the emotion throughout the day!

We had the pleasure of working with Jonathan & Gisel for our 3 day Indian/American destination wedding and had such a wonderful experience. We selected Cossu Photography back in 2019 after falling in love with his style and photos online. They were accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding a full year due to COVID and once the wedding arrived they were prompt, professional, and just so amazing and easy to work with. They captured every key moment of our wedding weekend so perfectly. Jonathan even risked having a phone almost dropped on his face to take the perfect photo of the bridal party cheering their champagne glasses! The emotions they were able to capture through each photo were truly incredible. The delivery of the photos to us was also very timely which was very important to us. Jonathan and Gisel were incredible to work with! I fell in love with Jonathan's work from other destination bride recommendations through social media. When I reached out, an interview was held to make sure what we wanted for our wedding was something Jonathan could do and that our visions and the style we were looking for was compatible. We booked Jonathan for 8 hours for our wedding, a trash the dress shoot (underwater in a cenote) and a sunrise session the morning after. It was everything we could've dreamed of! Jonathan and Gisel made us feel so comfortable and went with the flow of ours and our guests' craziness! They captured incredible moments during the entire day and plenty of candid shots of our guests as well. If we had to repeat our wedding, I'd choose Cossu Photography again without hesitation!

We searched for the perfect wedding photographer who could capture a multi-day, interfaith wedding in Isla Mujeres. We wanted someone who could fit in with our amazing friends and family, who could wrangle all the people running in 100 different directions, who could capture all the magical moments in a photo-journalistic manner. After literally interviewing 10+ photographers, we were hesitant to reaching out to Jonathan as we assumed he would be too expensive given his many global awards and given how amazing his work is. We had a call with Jonathan and his amazing studio manager, Heather and immediately fell in love with them. They had a way of deeply listening to our desires and we truly felt heard. We got a custom quote for the multi-day wedding and we felt his prices were reasonable and we were pleasantly surprised how easy they made the whole process! We arranged to have Jonathan and Gisel come several days before the wedding for a “pre-wedding shoot”. This was SO MUCH FUN! We got to know the two of them and they became like family to us and the PHOTOS are AMAZING! A week later when they showed up to shoot the wedding, they fit right in and all of our guests thought they were long time friends of ours as they truly fit right in and exuded the amazing LOVE that surrounded us that weekend. Jonathan and Gisel have an amazing eye for creative shots, they captured everything we wanted and we were BLOWN AWAY by the amazing photos! The whole weekend was a dream come true and they captured it so well. We could not be happier with the photos and more importantly for the friendship we established with them! We were very pleased with the work of Jonathan Cossu and his amazing team for our November 2019 wedding! We didn't want to spend any time posing for photos and preferred that he just captured raw emotions, and he definitely delivered! I had a very diverse bridal party, and Jonathan managed to capture everyone's beautiful skin tone with the light, which I know is not easy! The team was very professional and organized prior to the event, which definitely made me feel relaxed as I was wedding planning. I researched many photographers before I made my decision to go with Jonathan. We purchased the base package. However, upon receiving the final product, we regret not getting a higher package with a larger collection of photographs because Jonathan's work was absolutely amazing! Jonathan Cossu was the photographer for our wedding in October 2019. We had an indian destination wedding in Cancun with over 300 guests, and spanned over 3 days. We really wanted someone that captured all the candid moments of our wedding, and when we started researching, we stumbled upon Jonathan's work and felt he would be a perfect fit. When we visited the resort a year before our wedding, Jonathan came to meet us and visit the resort as well. Meeting him in person made us feel like we were in great hands for our big day.

Its probably 3 years ago we had our wedding photos done by Jonathan. I cannot recommend more highly. I am a photog and should know better but I've never gotten around to printing a lot of our images. Well I just moved my tech over and lost my wedding album. Jonathan had left my gallery up and I was able to download again, this to me is above and beyond good service. Jonathan was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in Tulum. We met Jonathan on our first Tulum visit and instantly connected with his energy. My husband is probably the worst poser I know. But Jonathan and his team just made shooting so enjoyable.
When it comes to the wedding day, everyone was impressed by his energy and patience. He was always on time (early actually), and seemed to have endless energy! I know some wedding photographers could be burnt out after years working on projects like this. But Jonathan and his team no-doubt LOVE what they do, and this vibe was just passed on to everyone around them-- which is so crucial for the big day !!
They were so easy to communicate with, responded whenever we reached out-- that helped with our anxiety on wedding planning. After the wedding, Jonathan sent us a sneak peek before all pics were ready so we wouldn't wait anxiously. We ended up receiving our final album sooner than we expected---WE LOVED IT. He captured all the color, moves, emotions, and special moments that we wanted to remember. Who isn't picky when it comes to their wedding photos ?! However, Jonathan's taste and skills exceeded our expectation.
My brother-in-law and his fiance was so impressed by his work and cannot wait to work with him at their upcoming wedding!
