Snuggled up in the hills of San Leo Bastia is an experience like no other, with hosts that feel more like friends than just business owners, food & wine like you’ll never have again, and tranquility to transport even the most overworked and face paced person to a serene disposition. Our excursions ranged from visiting Assisi, to a local winery, to Cortona and a local market there, and even a local farm for some cheese making! And each step of the way, Tony and Danielle had thought of it all! We never wanted for anything, and afternoons lounging by the pool with wine in hand was the perfect wind down after our daily excursions before dinner. These 2 are quite the magnificent duo, and you would be remiss not to spend a week at Casa Miedi, soaking in the culture and finding yourself wishing for just one more day.

If you are looking for an authentic experience in Italy - casa miedi is truly a GEM. Danielle is an unbelievable chef and host. She sources all ingredients locally and pours her heart and soul into every meal. I’ve never eaten so well in my life. Tony can take you on excursions of local towns, wineries, churches - places that tourists would never find on their own - and does it all with a deep gratitude of getting to share his love for the land and culture. They create a space that is unmatched in esthetic, passion, and genuine joy to share the beauty of Umbria! You will not regret booking a stay here - one of the best decisions of my life!

We had the most amazing stay at Casa Miedi! My fiancé and I stayed with some other family members for 5 days. This house is a beautiful place tucked into the hills of Umbria. All of the rooms had plenty of room and were very well equipped with everything you need. We stayed in the room closest to the pool and it was very private and separated from the main house. All of the rooms have their own private entrances. This place is not an Airbnb, it is an all-inclusive stay in one of the amazing private rooms in Casa Miedi. Danielle and Tony are the most welcoming and accommodating hosts I’ve ever met. The tours they took us on were so cool and not places you would normally be able to find on your own. Even though it was hot, the rooms have ceiling fans which made it much much cooler. We also chose to go to Italy in July which is going to be warm no matter what. Plus their property has an amazing pool which we spent a lot of time in. Danielle and Tony make you feel like apart of their family! Danielle’s cooking is out of this world, every meal we had was absolutely amazing. We can’t wait to come back again in the future! I wish I could give this property more than 5 stars because it more than exceeded all of our expectations. This was the most relaxing vacation, thank you Danielle and Tony!!
