“Magic in Umbria". Our family spent a week at Le Torri di Bagnara in 2023 to celebrate a milestone birthday. Our visit could not have been more magical. The medieval castle has been updated but maintains its historical legacy in a beautiful and luxurious way. The accommodations are first class in every sense. Bicycles and walking paths are available to explore its 1500 acres. Dinner was prepared for us 3 of the nights and Alex helped us pair our wines perfectly with the amazing meals of pizza, barbeque and porchetta prepared by their chefs. The outside terrace was the perfect venue for our evening dinners. Marcella assisted us with all details and was very accommodating. The staff couldn’t have been more pleasant, professional or helpful. The location allowed us the opportunity to make day trips to Assisi, Siena, Cortona, Perugia and Montepulciano/Montalcino. The remaining days were spent relaxing around the beautiful pool. There were many other amenities on theproperty that we chose not to use as the pool was our gathering place with its amazing views. Zenaide is the perfect hostess and surprised us with a gorgeous floral bouquet for the birthday celebration dinner. The dinner was topped with a delicious strawberry cake. We couldn’t have scripted a better week and the weather cooperated perfectly. The property sits high on a hilltop which makes driving up interesting but also offers quiet solitude, privacy and amazing Umbrian valley views. It was definitely a dream trip come true.”

Visited the Castle for a wedding. The grounds are stunning. The countryside and castle are very rustic Italian. Unfortunately the first day we were staying there, we left our room (which was the little casita off the driveway) for an excursion on the grounds. Upon our return to our room, post housekeeping, it was quickly discovered an expensive item was missing. We notified the house manager immediately and although she offered to ask around, it was obvious they didn't care. Very disappointed!
