Non ho aggiunto alcun aggettivo al titolo di questa recensione perché qualunque qualificazione,seppur eccellente,sarebbe stata riduttiva.L’accoglienza calda e premurosa.La suite elegante,confortevole,impeccabile per pulizia ed accessori.Il posto…che dire?Un resort curatissimo in cui perdersi per ritrovare un reale contatto con la natura .Una SPA che completa e impreziosisce l’atmosfera di totale relax e,il cui utilizzo esclusivo ,fa la differenza.|E poi la splendida serata di Capodanno introdotta da un aperitivo al bar che ci ha permesso di familiarizzare con gli ospiti a cui ha fatto seguito un cenone sofisticato ,creativo ,espressione della migliore tradizione italiana accompagnato da un duo di musicisti di gran classe .Il Brindisi nella splendida pagoda all’esterno è stato coronato da un favoloso spettacolo pirotecnico che ha inondato di luci e colori la vallata sottostante.Il personale sempre attento mi ha sorpreso per la costante operosità,per la discrezione e ,al contempo,la concreta visibilità al sorgere dell’esigenza del cliente.Vi ringrazio di cuore per averci donato un principio d’anno così speciale!|Impegni permettendo,spero di rivedervi presto.

Un soggiorno semplicemente indimenticabile. Borghi dell’Eremo è un luogo che va oltre ogni aspettativa: un’oasi di pace immersa nella natura, curata in ogni minimo dettaglio, dove il tempo sembra rallentare davvero.
Abbiamo soggiornato nella Presidential Suite e l’esperienza è stata a dir poco straordinaria. La suite è ampia, elegantissima, perfettamente inserita nel contesto naturale, con una vista mozzafiato che regala emozioni a ogni ora del giorno. Ogni comfort è pensato per offrire il massimo del relax e della privacy, con materiali di pregio, arredi raffinati e un’atmosfera di assoluta esclusività.
Il silenzio, la bellezza del paesaggio e la qualità del servizio rendono il soggiorno un vero lusso per l’anima. Il personale è sempre discreto ma presente, estremamente professionale e attento a ogni esigenza, facendoti sentire coccolato dall’inizio alla fine.
Borghi dell’Eremo non è solo un posto dove dormire, ma un’esperienza autentica, perfetta per chi cerca relax, romanticismo e un contatto profondo con la natura senza rinunciare all’eleganza. La Presidential Suite eleva tutto questo a un livello superiore.
Torneremo sicuramente. Un luogo magico che resta nel cuore. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of the best hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. Borghi dell’Eremo truly stands out in every aspect. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and beautifully curated.
The restaurant is outstanding — exceptional food quality, refined presentation, and a wonderful setting. The staff are highly professional, attentive, and genuinely make you feel welcome.
The massage experience was, without question, the best I have ever had. Everything is designed to help you fully relax and disconnect. The surroundings are stunning, quiet, and perfectly integrated with nature, making this place an ideal destination for true rest and rejuvenation.
An experience I would absolutely repeat

Meraviglioso: una sola parola basta a definire questo luogo di pace e bellezza. Ristrutturato con grande gusto, si presenta come un resort dal lusso discreto, mantenuto in condizioni impeccabili e sempre pulitissimo. Ottima anche la scelta dell’adult only, che contribuisce a rendere l’atmosfera ancora più rilassante.

Il personale è gentile, disponibile e altamente professionale.

Le stanze sono solo 15, per un massimo di 36 ospiti. La nostra, ampia e arredata con grande cura, era perfettamente pulita, dotata di ogni comfort e con una vista meravigliosa. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo la possibilità di riservare in esclusiva la spa. Ho anche provato alcuni trattamenti, eseguiti alla perfezione dalle ragazze della spa, pienamente all’altezza della qualità della struttura.

Un ulteriore punto di forza è il grandissimo giardino, curato in maniera impeccabile: un’oasi di tranquillità dove è un piacere passeggiare o semplicemente rilassarsi.

Ci siamo innamorati di questo posto: questa è stata la prima volta di una lunga serie.

Beautiful location in Umbria and some nice landscape around to visit, central to many of the towns you would want to visit.||Very warm and helpful staff led by a great GM Riccardo.||Breakfast was a true treat every morning.|Pricing was super attractive and fair to guests in my view.||Will definitely visit again and again!

Our stay at I Borghi dell'Eremo was exceptional! Driving up here felt like we were entering a different world. All staff during our entire stay was so helpful and kind. The property is gorgeous and the sunsets are magical. The food was fantastic - breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also really enjoyed the spa experience. Lastly, our room was beautiful and we appreciated the turndown service every night. This place in Umbria felt like a hidden gem. We would stay here again in a heartbeat ❤️

An absolutely magnificent hotel! ✨|Comfortable beds, a cozy room — everything, everything, everything was just perfect.|The atmosphere — pure love 💙|The nature around is like a fairytale.||The restaurant was amazing — the food was so delicious, finger-licking good! 😋|The only thing is that the spa might not be for everyone: the massage felt a bit too light, more like gentle stroking.)))||But overall, this is a place you want to return to again and again! 💫

Trovato in Internet per caso, appena ho visto le foto non potevo che rimanere abbagliato dalla meraviglia di questo posto una perla a pochi passi da casa mia (un oretta circa di auto),premetto che stavo cercando un attimo di relax per staccare la spina con mia moglie abbiamo due figli piccoli e chi c’e la mi può capire🤣…..detto questo mi metto subito in cerca nel menu del sito del Borgo dell’eremo e scopro questo meraviglioso pacchetto per la SPA eterea percorso in esclusiva per due persone con video che mostra il percorso che e il top in più con vista mozzafiato sulle colline umbre.
Perfetto decido di prenotare nella prenotazione persone qualificate e attente alle esigenze ,la stessa cortesia ,la ritrovo anche una volta arrivato lì una simpaticissima ragazza mi stava già attendendo all arrivo in struttura, parcheggiata la macchina propio davanti alla nostra meravigliosa e adir poco struttura della SPA con vista bellissima ci ha subito mostrato il posto e ci ha preparato per questa magnifica esperienza una volta finito il percorso io e mia moglie RIGENERATI ci siamo fatti due chiacchiere con il direttore persona gentile e qualificata che con, gentilezza ci ha spiegato la storia magnifica del posto e ci ha invitati in una passeggiata in questi magnifici giardini che sembrano quelli delle favole e dei film della Disney tutto perfetto tornerò per fare il pacchetto con cena inclusa vi meritate il successo che avete a presto🦾

We stayed in the 11th century abbey which is a couple 100m further from the main hotel. The room had wonderful amenities, the spa inside the room was welcomed on a rainy day, the private garden was peaceful and had great views.

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The restaurant on premise serves Michelin quality food without the fluff. That too has a wonderful view from the hilltop.

The whole stay was wonderful and we cannot stop thinking about the wonderful, relaxing time we had there. 100% would recommend.

Absolutely unique and stunning hotel, with brilliant and attentive staff and some of the best views in Umbria.

Our room was nothing short of exceptional, with lots of small exceptional details and lots of storage. We really cannot fault the hotel, the spa or the room - truly exceptional.

However the one let down is the restaurant for dinner (both the breakfast and lunch menu by the pool are very good). We were stunned by the lacking food and (for the area) expensive prices (but the food did look nice). The starters of Mille-feuille (not really, just a variant of gratin dauphinois) and L’Uovo (which turned out to be a cold, hard egg yolk in a crisp breading) both were underwhelming and poorly executed. Across every dish the same micro herb garnish was used as well as oils - which was a bit strange. The Risotto had an extremely acidic lemon sauce on top. And the main of Lamb had two overcooked, dry and somehow tasteless pieces of lamb. We thought the dessert (a play on a profiterole) may be better, but it turned out to be a poorly executed dish again with dry and stale choux. We were thoroughly disappointed by the meal. This opinion was shared by at least two sets of other guests, one of which we could overhear speaking about it in the dining room and one whom mentioned it to us the next day. It is quite simply the worst food we have ever had at a hotel restaurant of this class.

The saving grace was the exceptional wine list - and the helpful staff. They cannot be faulted.

Overall we love the hotel, and would certainly come back - however we would decide to dine outside the hotel in the future (which is not simple as it is quite a drive out - but would be worth the effort). The food is the only reason for the 4* review rather than the 5*.

Let me start off by saying the that location is stunning and very well kept. The rooms are huge and beautifully furnished and the staff is excellent and very kind.

I am leaving out a star due to the fact that I expected much better from the service at the restaurant. The food was good and the staff nice, but, At times it was slow, at other times staff is not very attentive and left empty plates on our table for quite a while.

For the kind of prices one is paying at this resort and for it being listed on the Michelin guide, I would Expect more.

I will however certainly try it out again in the future.

This is a stunning resort perched high on top of a hill with commanding and awesome views. It was a good few min drive up a gravel path from the main gate to get to the top. ||Check in was great with a quick tour and suite introduction. ||The grounds are absolutely stunning. The gardeners attend to the grounds and garden every morning and there are lots of butterflies and bees gently doing their thing. ||The chapel at the end of the resort was a nice walk and the whole resort feels very private and bespoke. ||There are lots of areas with seating where you can have a private moment with a glass of wine. ||It’s a great base to visit southern Tuscan towns and reception can guide you on places of interest. ||To improve: The gym is small though (1 treadmill and no real view). The restaurant for dinner was okay. The steak was so so and served on a skillet which meant that it kept cooking and a med rare was med well when it arrived. Breakfast was fine though. We ate outside for dinner after that. |AC in the rooms was very weak though but thankfully we didn’t have sunrise rooms. ||Despite this it was still a five star stay. The grounds are beautiful and how we imagined Tuscany.

Our 3 days were peaceful and completely content in this beautiful small hotel. The staff were so kind, obliging and ever helpful. The restaurant was excellent. The beauty of Bhorghi dell’Eremo was that there are only 15 rooms and so you never feel crowded and it feels peaceful and restorative. The spa is lovely too.

We had a perfect stay for one week in this resort. It is located about 45 min from Perugia (by car). It does take a few minutes to drive from the entrance gate to the hotel area, but in turn you get a faboulous view of the surrounding hills (up to Lago Trasimeno) once you arrive at the reception area. Perfect rooms (we stayed in a superior room), very clean, very quiet. We have also enjoyed excellent breakfasts and dinners in the restaurant. Very friendly staff. Beautiful garden where you can relax. The hotel is an excellent starting point to visit Umbria, with Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi, Spello, and Spoletto within 1 h driving.

Absolute perfection!

We only spent one day there for my belated bday celebration and we cannot wait to go back and stay longer next time. The suite we were given was so beautifully designed and furnished, so elegant and refined. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant there: delicious!! Stella, at the breakfast was so super nice and kind; Ion delighted us at dinner with his knowledge about wines and let us have an amazing wine tasting. My favorite: the spa!!! Next time I need to book 2 hours, one was not enough!
The peace and silence surrounding the property make it a perfect spot to retreat from the world. Blissful!!!

Luogo a dir poco stupendo, non riesco a trovare criticità. A partire dallo scambio di mail con le responsabili alla reception, sempre impeccabili, con risposte veloci ed esaustive per tutte le richieste e domande che ho posto. La loro tenuta è ben curata e, anche se il tempo non ci ha assistito, il luogo rimane magico. La camera è dotata di tutti i comfort, apprezzatissimo il piccolo benvenuto all’ingresso (da sottolineare la premura di avermi fatto trovare un dolcetto senza lattosio per la mia intolleranza!). La spa è molto carina, ma viste le condizioni meteo avverse, non abbiamo potuto utilizzare la parte esterna, e, a mio avviso, tale mancanza sarebbe dovuta essere motivo di accortezza nel prezzo. So che è una causa non imputabile a loro, ma magari avrei apprezzato una piccola attenzione in più (ad esempio, una ventina di minuti in più di fruizione della spa, un piccolo servizio offerto, non so), cosa assolutamente non dovuta ma che avrebbe fatto piacere. Ovviamente è una critica irrisoria, perché siamo stati benissimo e spero vivamente di ripetere l’esperienza. Il ristorante Essenza è stata la mia parte preferita, siamo stati coccolati dall’inizio alla fine e tutte le pietanze assaggiate erano buonissime. Il personale di sala è stato attento e preparato, proposte interessanti e carta dei vini importante. La colazione del giorno dopo non ha bisogno di descrizione, allego le foto per far comprendere la meraviglia di questo buffet.
Insomma, se volete regalarvi una coccola, questo posto fa al caso vostro; abbandonerete la macchina (e i pensieri) e vi farete trasportare dalla bellezza dei colori, dalla gentilezza del personale, dai profumi del paesaggio.

Arrivati da Roma con tre chihuahua alle due ragazze alla reception sono state molto cari ed accoglienti anche nei confronti dei nostri cani regalandoci dei biscottini per loro. Le camere sono molto ben tenute , spaziose con tessuti di pregio ed un ottimo gusto nell’arredo. Tutte le stanze sono climatizzate. Il wifi prende perfettamente. Pranzo: light lunch nel loro ristorante con un cameriere che ci accoglie con grande cortesia e familiarità. Pranzo ottimo. Spa: bellissima, pulita, le due ragazze eccezionali e molto professionali. Cena accolti da un ulteriore cameriere che ci sta preparando dei cocktail come aperitivo. Che dire dobbiamo assolutamente tornare. Anche in inverno e con una giornata un po’ uggiosa ha il suo fascino. PLUS: i cani possono entrare al ristorante e gironzolare nel bellissimo parco del resort. Un ringraziamento va a ION che ci ha deliziato con il suo sapere di vino. Veramente alti livelli. Complimenti.
