Siamo stati in questa struttura per festeggiare il capodanno ed è stata una bella esperienza.|La location è da favola, antico borgo ristrutturato con cura, mantenendo un gusto "antico". La cucina l'ho trovata per la maggior parte delle portate ottima e innovativa. Qualche "azzardo" culinario non l'ho apprezzato, ma questo è gusto personale.|Una nota di merito va spesa per il personale che gestisce e lavora nella struttura. Tutti ragazzi giovani con un garbo e una disponibilità nel soddisfare ogni richiesta che mi ha sorpreso. Ottima squadra alla quale va il mio grazie. Non ho dato 5 stelle perché secondo me ci sono pochissime cose da migliorare. La sala da pranzo del camino è poco illuminata e facevo fatica a vedere bene il cibo servito| Nel bagno della camera c'è un gradino poco evidenziato che potrebbe creare problemi di inciampo. Ma sono piccoli dettagli facilmente risolvibili. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno magnifico! La struttura situata in luogo tranquillissimo, perfetto per ricaricarsi. Lo staff, con la sua cortesia è stato eccezionale. Un plauso alla cucina: cibo ottimo e preparato tutto da loro, compresi i prodotti per la colazione. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura a tutti coloro che cercano relax, qualità e ospitalità.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno semplicemente magnifico in questo agriturismo!
​Fin dall'arrivo, siamo rimasti incantati dalla tranquillità e dalla bellezza del luogo: una vera oasi di pace, perfetta per ricaricare le energie e staccare completamente la spina.
​La cortesia e l'attenzione dello staff sono state eccezionali; ci hanno fatti sentire coccolati e a casa in ogni momento.
​Un plauso speciale merita la cucina: il cibo è straordinario, autentico e preparato con materie prime di altissima qualità. Il pasto, compresa la colazione, sono stati un'esperienza sensoriale indimenticabile.
​Consigliamo vivamente questa struttura a chiunque cerchi relax, natura, qualità e un'ospitalità di cuore. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare!

Half november heb ik een 'Taste of Umbria' week mogen meemaken. Wat een fantastische week! Leuke excursies, heerlijk eten, hartelijk personeel. Echt lekkere menu's gemaakt, en veel geleerd. En op een fantastische plek. Zeker een aanrader!

Borgo Castello Panicaglia was voor ons een ontdekking!
We genoten er van een week ”taste of Umbrië” die nog lang zal nazinderen. Een fijne groep, een doordacht concept, boeiende uitstappen en momenten vol kookplezier vormden samen een perfect geheel. Alles was tot in detail uitgewerkt. Het team is van uitzonderlijke klasse en Mira, Emma, Paulo en natuurlijk Sergio verdienen een extra compliment. Absoluut een aanrader.

La location è davvero molto carina e il personale è stato gentile e disponibile, ci hanno accolto con molta cordialità.|Tuttavia, ci sono stati alcuni aspetti che hanno reso il soggiorno meno piacevole: la camera prenotata come matrimoniale aveva in realtà due letti singoli uniti, quindi non particolarmente comoda. In stanza abbiamo trovato due cimici e la mattina dal bagno proveniva un odore sgradevole di fogna. Inoltre, mancava la TV.|Il buffet per la colazione era invece molto ben fornito e la qualità del cibo è sicuramente apprezzabile.|Peccato, perché con qualche attenzione in più ai dettagli e alla manutenzione sarebbe potenzialmente un ottimo posto.

Wauw, wauw, wauw! Afgelopen september mochten wij hier onze bruiloft vieren met onze familie en vrienden – wat een geluk! Toen we in 2024 een midweekje op bezoek kwamen, waren we al onder de indruk, maar onze bruiloft heeft werkelijk al onze verwachtingen overtroffen.

De locatie is adembenemend mooi en perfect onderhouden. Alle kamers zijn stijlvol ingericht en het voelt echt als thuiskomen. De ongedwongen, warme sfeer maakt dat iedereen zich direct welkom voelt.

Het eten was werkelijk fantastisch! Je proeft de aandacht en liefde die in elke maaltijd wordt gestoken. Zo leuk om te horen dat er vooral gebruik wordt gemaakt van lokale producten en dat ze hun eigen groenten en kruiden verbouwen. Ook de lokale wijnen die werden geschonken waren heerlijk – elk eetmoment voelde als een culinair feestje!

En mocht je nog niet overtuigd zijn door het eten en de locatie zelf, dan word je dat zeker door het team. Het hele personeel straalt gastvrijheid uit en werkt keihard om alles perfect te laten verlopen, maar neemt toch de tijd voor persoonlijke aandacht – je komt echt in een warm bad terecht. De communicatie was goed, vriendelijk en duidelijk. Het team heeft plezier met elkaar en is goed op elkaar ingespeeld. Een speciale vermelding voor Tom & Nicola: zij waren fantastisch! Ontzettend vriendelijk, professioneel en zo goed in hun werk. De kinderen waren met name dol op hen. Zij hadden de tijd van hun leven en wij dus ook.

Wij kunnen niet wachten tot we weer terug mogen naar de Borgo – deze plek heeft ons hart gestolen en raden we zonder twijfel 1000% aan!

I stayed in this hotel 2 nights 3 years back. It was a cosy place and one of my best experiences ever.
The owners were really nice and helpful. The food was extraordinary with very reasonable prices. I would like to go back but it is full all Summer.

Where do we even begin to describe the magic that occurred between 1-3 Sep 2025?? To say that the Borgo and the team made our wedding dreams come true is an understatement!! You all exceeded our expectations and truly brought our vision to life.

The entire journey, from the moment we set foot in the Borgo on 9 May 2024 and meeting Mira for the first time, to the numerous emails exchanged and video calls had, to the day we finally got married on 2 Sep 2025 and having everything taken care of by Emma, Desiree and Nahdia — all of it has been seamless and so incredibly smooth sailing.

- Mira, thank you for selling us the dream, and convincing us to pick the Borgo to hold our dream wedding.
- Nahdia, thank you for the last minute arrangements with Bella Trio and being the dog whisperer in ensuring Tokyo made her way down the aisle.
- Desiree, thank you for ensuring the room arrangements and setup were immaculate and for being on top of all the crazy wedding details + items.
- Emma, thank you for being so calm and collected throughout the frenzy of the big day, from managing the ceremony music to giving us the outdoor dinner despite the silly weather, and the final fireworks display. Perfection, perfection, perfection.

We could go on forever but just a big collective thank you to the whole team. Thank you all for being so patient, so adaptable, so kind, so accommodating. Thank you for all the last minute changes, for being so flexible with the ever-changing weather, and for looking out for us. Thank you for being so gracious with our guests, and making them feel at home. Thank you for planning, coordinating and ensuring all our needs are met. Thank you to the staff for everything they did and how they showed up.

We came to the hotel for my brother’s wedding, and stayed for two and a half days during which the entire hotel was dedicated to the event.
From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely incredible.

Giovanni personally welcomed each guest, walked them to their room, and gave a lovely introduction to the hotel. Throughout our stay, the service remained outstanding — warm, attentive, and seamless.

The team responsible for the wedding was exceptional. They were kind, detail-oriented, and incredibly professional — truly on a world-class level.

The hotel itself is stunning. Each room is unique, and all of them are beautiful in their own way.
Everything was perfect, and all the guests had a wonderful time.
Highly recommended for a wedding or any special occasion — we’ll never forget this experience.

Wij hebben een paar weken geleden onze bruiloft bij de Borgo gevierd. Wat was dit fantastisch! Wij en onze gasten hebben ontzettend genoten van de prachtige locatie, kamers en het fantastische eten. Echt fenomenaal. Maar ook de kundigheid, professionaliteit en enthousiasme van het team is noemenswaardig. Zoveel gasten hebben achteraf nog benoemd hoe uitmuntend het team is!

Deze locatie is echt uniek in zijn soort en een aanrader voor vakantie of bruiloft!

Our third time at Borgo Castello Panicaglia—and this time, it was for our wedding. Honestly, we’re still speechless. Every single one of our guests was blown away by the beauty of the property, the comfort of the rooms, and most of all, the warmth and dedication of the staff.

We had a three-day wedding filled with our wild friends and loving family, and despite the chaos, the Borgo team delivered the best service we’ve ever experienced—anywhere in the world. The staff worked tirelessly behind the scenes, always one step ahead, making sure everyone was taken care of and that every moment was perfect.

The rooms are phenomenal—beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and full of character. The event team and planners were so helpful throughout the entire process, and on the wedding day, they functioned like a well-oiled machine, keeping everything running seamlessly.

We’ve heard from so many of our guests that this was the best wedding they’ve ever attended—and we know that’s thanks to the incredible team at the Borgo. They’re not just professionals—they’re genuinely kind, passionate people who pour their hearts into what they do.

We’d do this wedding all over again every year if we could. We’ll definitely be back—whether it’s for a holiday or vow renewals. This place is an absolute dream.

OMG what a divine place. My daughter picked the Borgo for her destination wedding and, wow, did she pick the most perfect place. The scenery, the rooms, the food were all beyond compare. The staff went out of their way to make everything absolutely ideal. I don’t have even one small complaint, it was all exceptional. This is a 5 star plus venue. If you are considering a destination wedding, I would HIGHLY recommend the Borgo.

Wat een fantastische week samen met mijn dochter in Borgo Castello! Het was een onvergetelijke ervaring waarin alles klopte: de sfeer, de activiteiten en vooral de mensen. We hebben intens genoten van de pasta- en pizzaworkshop — samen kneden, lachen en proeven was een van de hoogtepunten van onze reis. De truffeltocht was magisch en gaf ons echt het gevoel even één te zijn met de natuur.||Een speciaal woord van dank aan Robin, Inger en haar moeder. Wat een lieve, gastvrije mensen die altijd voor je klaarstaan. Niets was te veel gevraagd en we voelden ons vanaf het eerste moment helemaal thuis.||Borgo Castello is een plek waar je niet alleen Italië proeft, maar ook de warmte van mensen die met hart en ziel iets bijzonders neerzetten. We komen zeker terug!

È la seconda volta che soggiorniamo in questo paradiso terrestre, lontano dal caos della città, immersi nel verde, con una tranquillità e serenità incredibile! Abbiamo ritrovato la stessa armonia, pulizia, accoglienza e prelibatezze culinarie. Il bello di questo posto è proprio la formula SENZA PENSIERI: pensa a tutto il fantastico staff che c’è! Puoi chiedere qualsiasi cosa, sono sempre lì pronti ad esaudire ogni tua richiesta con un sorriso ed una efficienza fantastica. Siamo andati con la nostra bimba e anche per lei c’è stato un bel po’ di divertimento… dalla cooking class alla loro sala piena di giochi Montessoriani per bambini :) complimenti a tutti voi chef Luca, Sergio, Giovanni e tutte le altre persone che hanno reso questo soggiorno come sempre indimenticabile! GRAZIE GRAZIE E GRAZIE ancora alla prossima!

Borgo ristrutturato con cura. Personale giovane, gentile e davvero efficiente. Arredi, mobili e suppellettili di gusto, ma gli armadi delle camere a nostro avviso non adeguati esteticamente. Colazione valida e varia e cena davvero squisita. Si potrebbe migliorare: caldaie delle due camere familiari in cui abbiamo soggiornato rumorose, piastrelle di un bagno delle due non all’altezza della camera, pavimento in laminato dell’altra anch’esso non altezza della bellezza dell’intero contesto. Posizione comoda per quasi tutte le mete classiche umbre. Prezzo importante per un agriturismo pur di alta qualità.

Out in the sticks. Need car and you may have trouble finding it. so spend enough time checking out the location to avoid driving in the wrong direction. definitely for nature lovers.|A lot of stairs but splendid view once we got to our family room. Probably a haven for family with young kids. Seems like to offer all kind of activities during the kids holidays. check out their website for more details.||Pizza dinner that took place on the heated patio was great. Very attentive and motivated service staff. ||Bfast relaxed very nice with huge selection of sweet pastries. Personally I would have preferred more bread selection and less pastries. Home made granola was delicious and so was the banana/berry milkshake! ||Makes sense to spend more than one night there to take advantage for this wonderful place.
