Magnifique un havre de paix en plein milieu des pouilles. Ma compagne et moi sommes restés trois jours pour un mariage. Le personnel et le service était super ils sont au petit oignons avec les clients et à l’écoute. Seul deux petits points négatifs la route était praticable avec une voiture du wrc, bon malheureusement ils peuvent rien y faire mais ça vaut le coup et la douche qui était vétuste.

Tenuta di Forte Sorgnano was the perfect venue for our Wedding, I cannot recommend it highly enough! The Castle was incredible and surpassed all of our (and our guests') expectations. Marco and his staff were so welcoming and provided excellent service throughout the duration of our stay. Marco was also very helpful and responsive in the months leading up the wedding, providing advice and answering any questions we had.

Tenuta di Forte Sorgnano will forever hold a special place in our hearts :)

Posto molto bello, immerso nella campagna, perfetto per ritrovare pace e serenità lontani dal caos e dalla frenesia della città. Le camere sono spaziose e ben arredate, abbiamo avuto qualche problema con i bagni che peró è stato subito risolto dal proprietario, persona cortese e molto disponibile. Buona e varia la colazione, bella e pulita la piscina. Attenzione solo alla strada per raggiungerlo. Seguite le indicazioni del titolare, ci sono circa 4 km di strada sterrata ed è bene seguire quella giusta perchè ci sono diverse opzioni ed alcune possono essere impervie. Consigliato.

Appena tornati da qsta magnifica esperienza presso la Tenuta di Sorgnano. Marco ,la sua compagna e la Loro fantastica equipe ( in particolare Gabriele e Rachele) ti fanno sentire veramente a casa propria. Struttura dotata di tutti comfort possibili; piscina spettacolare area barbecue, area giochi ,area didattica tutto immerso in un verde curatissimo e ben tenuto. Area parcheggio dotata anche di torretta elettrica. A poca distanza dalla struttura,suddiviso tra camere e vari appartamenti, si erge il magnifico castello millenario di Sorgnano dove è stato possibile fare la cena di benvenuto e di partenza. Una esperienza unica e indimenticabile con un panorama mozzafiato. La tenuta benché isolata si trova a 40 minuti da bellissimi paesi come Spello,Rasiglia, Bevagna e altri fantastici luoghi assolutamente da nn perdere.
Grazie ancora Marco anche per i tuoi mitici panini da me richiesti anche a orari fuori dal pranzo. Un saluto anche a Coccolo ,il gatto che protegge tutta la struttura.Davvero BRAVI!!!

Je moet even door het natuurgebied, maar dat is de moeite waard. Je verblijf ligt namelijk op een top met fantastisch uitzicht. Mogelijkheden in de buurt om te bezoeken en op het park zelf keuze om te zwemmen of te ontspannen. Eten kan ter plaatse maar in de omgeving is er ook genoeg om te kiezen. Volg de instructies hoe te rijden en dan komt het helemaal goed!

My husband and I recently got married in Tenuta di Forte Sorgnano and it was a magical experience.

From the very beginning communication with Marco was so easy, he provided all the information in relation to what could be done at the venue. After talking with Marco and seeing the magnificent photos of the estate we were keen to go and view it. It did not disappoint, in fact it was more spectacular in real life than the photos. Marco was such a pleasure to deal with and made our visit a great experience. The estate had everything needed to escape the hustle and bustle of real life including a pool, restaurant, bar, kiddies play area and lots more.

We instantly fell in love with the venue and booked it immediately when we got home. During our time planning the wedding Marco was extremely helping in providing information about the vendors and pointing us in the right direction. His kind nature always put our minds at ease every time we had a call with him, making the process feel like a breeze.

Considering we found the wedding planning process so enjoyable we knew that our time at Forte Sorgnano was going to be great, but we could not have imagined how amazing it turned out to be. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, all the staff were wonderful going out of their way to help us in any way possible. Everything ran so smoothly it was like a dream.

My husband, I and all of our guests have been using the words “fairytale wedding" to describe the experience.

The food was spectacular and Marco was so accommodating to dietary restrictions and requirements. Marco even organised a cooking class for some of our guests one of the days which everybody thoroughly enjoyed.

The day of our wedding at Forte Sorgnano is one we will never forget and we have Marco and all of his wonderful staff to thank for this.

We came across Forte Sorgnano, and Marco on Hitched whilst looking for suppliers for a wedding in Italy. After having our original hopes dashed, when a similar venue was closing for refurbishment, we were keenly seeking out a romantic castle in Tuscany or Umbria.

The process can be overwhelming and I had countless vendors reach out to me, some more professional than others. But the whole experience with Forte Sorgano stood out from the start - the communication was so thorough and professional, the pictures beautiful, and the flexibility perfect.

It's also really important to note that budget and logistical needs were really important to us and can be difficult to meet, but we loved Forte Sorgnano because it offered everything we'd hoped for, accommodated all of our guests on site and still came in at a reasonable price.

Marco was easy and professional to deal with from the beginning and put no pressure on us to book, but offered lots of ideas and creative options for how we could customise the wedding to our vision.

We visited a couple of times, and this venue does not disappoint in person. In fact it's probably hard to get the full impact from pictures, but it is a beautiful estate, surrounded by greenery, with a refurbished castle atop a hill and overlooking the hamlet. It has everything you could need - a restaurant, accommodation, staff, parks for the kids, swimming pool, hot tub, even a farm. We love that they produce their own wine, olive oil and honey - and couldn't resist buying our own.

We tasted the wedding food beforehand which was an amazing experience in and of itself - the food options were so varied and delicious - I've never had such great wedding food. We also tried out the wines but loved the Forte Sorgnano ones.

The wedding ran smoothly - with our guests experiencing the same wow factor as we did. The rooms were clean, check in process professional, and the food delicious. We had a pizza party and cultural ceremony the night before which was accommodated so perfectly and the perfect welcome for our guests.

The day itself was magical. The staff made us feel like royalty and the food and service was everything you would expect from Italy! The castle looked magnificient - and saying our vows on top of the gorgeous terrace was the most incredible moment of my life. There were so many unique and special touches throughout the day which made the experience unforgettable.

The next day Marco arranged activities for us including a truffle hunt, wine tasting and a pasta party - it felt like our own homemade holiday as well as wedding and we were so grateful to have this precious extra time with loved ones to celebrate and relax.

Thank you Marco and ALL of the team at Forte Sorgnano for the most amazing three days of our lives. We will never forget this incredible experience and can't wait to revisit. We just love the rustic, calm and inviting feel of this venue, and the unrivaled Italian hospitality on offer.

We cannot wait to return as guests for our anniversary!

Un luogo immerso nella pace, con uliveti e vista mozzafiato dal castello che vi sorge in cima. Attenzione solamente alla strada dissestata se non si hanno i giusti mezzi. Gentilissimo il proprietario Marco che ci ha saputi consigliare su itinerari e ristoranti.

We booked a four nights stay and celebrated our wedding here a few weeks ago, we had many guests come from Australia and honestly we could not have been happier with the venue, wedding, rooms, food and facilities. EVERYTHING was incredible, all our guests were so happy with their stay and the wedding itself was a dream come true. The venue is so tranquil with the most picturesque views and excellent spots to relax before and after the wedding. All of the food was amazing and some of the best we've had whilst in Italy. Marco and his team are very professional, helpful and go out of their way to make your stay the best possible. If you are thinking of booking a wedding in Umbria- do yourself a favour and book forte Sorgnano. We truly could not have asked for more on our special day. Thankyou again!

Meravigliosa esperienza!2 adulti, 2 bambini 8 e 11 anni e un cane di grande taglia. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, adulti in relax immersi nella natura panorama stupendo cucina ottima e tutti molto gentili e attenti alle nostre esigenze, bambini felici piscina sempre pulita e con giochi a disposizione. Appartamento spazioso con tutti i confort e stile rustico. Luogo immerso negli ulivi e fiore all’occhiello lo stupendo Castello che si vede dalla casa sulle colline ed è raggiungibile con una breve passeggiata di 10 minuti. Dalla terrazza del castello con un bicchiere di spumante si gode di una vista mozzafiato sulle colline. Grazie a tutti per averci fatto trascorre due settimane di vacanza memorabili.

Forte Sorgnano is an incredibly peaceful place to visit. Nestled in huge natural reserve, you are immersed in nature. On a hike through the woods, we saw both a porcupine and a wild boar, as well as wild hare. We’ve seen in some reviews that people complain about the road but it was perfectly fine to drive on. It’s made of hard packed rock and our car traversed easily. It’s absolutely worth the drive to get away from the packs of people visiting more touristy areas. All of the rooms are redone tastefully, it’s rustic but very very comfortable, the food served on site is both reasonably priced and superb and the owner interesting and kind.
In addition to being very family friendly, the refurbished Castle is a beautiful place for a wedding. Come visit. You won’t regret it!

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana in una camera standard, che più che standard era una baracca. Sporca, scomoda, vecchia, senza aria condizionata e con, in alternativa, una ventola attivabile con l'interruttore che però accendeva anche la luce. Per azionare l'uno o l'altra bisognava mettersi in piedi sul letto (ed io sono alto 184 cm) e tirare ora una ora l'altra cordicella. Piatto della doccia intasato, materasso (o meglio materassi, 2 singoli per un letto matrimoniale) scomodissimo. Abbiamo dormito malissimo e, alla richiesta di un topper, ci è stato comunicata l'indisponibilità. Chiesto una tripla per poter collegare il caricatore del cellulare alla presa: 24 h di tempo per averne uno. |La strada per andare e tornare dalla tenuta è poco praticabile: non asfaltata, in pendenza e davvero lunga. Privacy zero: finestra direttamente sulla strada. E, come se non bastasse, mancanza di un frigobar in camera.|Unica nota positiva il castello. Davvero ben adornato per cena con un'atmosfera e una vista mozzafiato. Per il resto, soldi rubati. Tanta incuria e indifferenza verso il cliente.

Siamo stati qualche giorno fa con la nostra cagnolina Mia , che Marco, il proprietario ha accolto con molta gentilezza. Il posto è molto bello, c'è pace, silenzio, natura, un ottima cucina e tanto tanto verde. Ringrazio molto Marco per la, gentilezza, ringrazio Davide, per la, carineria con la quale ci ha accolti a colazione. In 30 minuti si arriva ad Assisi. Posto adattissimo a bimbi, animali, coppie... Insomma a tutti!! Un esperienza che rifarei . Da Rimini ci abbiamo messo 3 ore. Quindi si può fare!!

Where to begin....we booked this venue for our Wedding, off the back of another review on this website - without visiting it as there was one weekend available and we were pushed for time! Well they say things are 'meant to be' and this venue certainly was for us. We are based in London but have African roots - we had family travelling from most continents and it was the perfect place for a rustic, relaxed reunion and then amazing marriage celebration at the end of our week on the property. The food was wonderful, the combo of self-catering or eating at the restaurant ideal. But what makes Forte Sorgnano is the people who manage and work there - they are SO welcoming and by the time the wedding day came we just knew they would do everything to make it wonderful - which it was. We filled the accommodation onsite and overflowed to Torre Burchio down the road which was perfect too. We enjoyed walks, runs etc along the peaceful roads, trips to the local towns and hanging out watching the most incredible sunsets every evening. We used the bbq areas, the pool, the kids loved the farm animals. We could go on and on about this as a holiday spot or a wedding, reunion, visit. Yes there is a long dirt road to get there but if you like wilderness, peace and quiet and family-like Italian food, wine and hospitality you can't go wrong. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Marco, Giuliano, Letizia, Lucrezia and Carol. We can't wait to visit again soon.
