She didn't just plan our wedding; she was a true partner who brought our vision to life with warmth, expertise, and a flawless attention to detail.
From our very first video call, Valentina made us feel completely at ease. She took the time to truly understand our style as a couple and what we envisioned for our special day, all while respecting our budget. She possesses an incredible network of the best local suppliers and used her expertise to perfectly curate a team of professionals for our day, from the breathtaking location to the incredible food that our guests are still talking about to this day.
Valentina's deep knowledge of Sicily and Cefalú was invaluable. She expertly navigated us through all the necessary paperwork, helped with language barriers and made our visions come to life, all while ensuring a stress-free process. If there were any issues on the day, we certainly didn't know about them, she handled everything with such calm and poise.
Our wedding day itself was absolute perfection. Seeing everything come together, the stunning venue, the beautiful decorations, the perfect flow of the day, we could not have asked for a more magical wedding day. Every single detail was executed flawlessly. Thanks to Valentina, we were able to relax, be completely present, and soak up every joyous moment with our family and friends in the most beautiful location.

Valentina at Dragonfly Weddings helped create the most beautiful, unique and perfect wedding. Not only was it the best day of our lives, but a good majority of our guests said that it was "the best wedding they had ever been to" and not just because it was in Sicily :)

We chose to get married in Sicily to celebrate our Sicilian heritage. We live in New York City so it was important that we partner with someone in Sicily to help plan our special day. We knew right away that we wanted to work with Valentina during our first Zoom call. She was very excited about our vision and reassured us that what we wanted was possible. She also is incredibly kind and welcoming and we instantly felt a connection. Although she is based in Cefalu, she was open to helping us plan a wedding in any other part of the island and we opted to get married at Casa Delle Terre Forti in Aci Castello.

Throughout the planning process, Valentina exhibited a great sense of patience and tranquility. As many brides can be, I constantly had lots of questions about everything and she made herself available to answer them, which helped put me at ease. We also appreciated that she treated this relationship like a partnership which allowed us to still play a prominent role in the planning process, which we really liked.

About 5 months before the wedding, Valentina helped us plan a trip to Sicily to meet with some of our vendors. She helped coordinate the menu tasting, a venue tour, hair/makeup trial, and even a trial with our photographer. There was a lot of coordination and some travel all throughout the island but she made sure that we got to do as much as possible in the time that we were there.

During the wedding week, she helped coordinate a welcome cocktail hour at the hotel that we were staying in, a wedding rehearsal at the venue followed up by a beautiful pranzo at a winery in the foothills of Mount Etna, and an amazing beach party at a local lido for the day after the wedding.

The actual wedding went AMAZING. Everything came together wonderfully and we truly had the times of our lives. Valentina helped find the best vendors - from the personalized stationary, the beautiful flower arrangements, the amazing bartender, the most delicious caterer, the kind and welcoming MUA and Hair stylists, and the incredible photographer/videographer set. She also took care of all of the details and coordination day of so all we had to do was get ready and enjoy!

We would 100% recommend Dragonfly Wedding and would 100% re-do our wedding day if we could! We're so lucky to have made a friend in Valentina.

Valentina made our destination wedding an absolute dream come true. We live in Toronto, Canada and have never visited Sicily so we depended on her a lot! She flawlessly executed three stunning events: a welcome dinner at a beautiful villa, the wedding ceremony at Le Calette, and a breakfast in Piazza Duomo. She truly understood our vision and brought it to life perfectly. Throughout the planning process, she was incredibly responsive and always available via email or cellphone. Valentina went above and beyond to plan the most magical wedding for us in just under 1 year.

As we live in Ireland, we were initially quite worried about putting our trust in someone who we had never met. We had several Zoom calls to get to know Valentina and to find out all about the services that Dragonfly Wedding had to offer before we signed a contract.

After just a few Zoom calls, we had no doubt that Valentina would be able to deliver an exceptional wedding for us. Through completing a questionnaire, Valentina gained an insight into who we were as a couple and what exactly we wanted on the day itself.

Throughout the entire planning process, we found we had zero stress. Valentina really & truly thought of everything for us. Valentina also helped us to keep within our agreed budget which we found is one thing that can really spiral out of control if trying to organise a wedding solo.

The day of the wedding went by so smoothly. Valentina made sure everything ran like clock work which in turn provided us with a stress-free, fun and relaxing day. Our guests were also blown away by the entire experience and we couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out.

Myself and my husband agree that if we were to do it all over again, we would again choose Dragonfly Wedding to help us with it all. We can't recommend Valentina highly enough and we are so grateful for all of her hard work and dedication.

Our Cefalu wedding was absolutely perfect! It wasn’t easy for us to plan the wedding from the United States and that’s where Valentina came in. She took our vision for the wedding and made it come to life with every detail we asked for and more. Cefalu is a beautiful place and we definitely fell in love with everything about it and all the people there. Valentina and everyone she works with (photographer, florist, violinist) was amazing and made our wedding a dream come true. We can’t wait to go back to Cefalu and celebrate every year!

We were so blessed to find Valentina. We decided a little late to do an elopement in Cefalu. Valentina was able to make everything absolutely perfect. From flowers to our photographer everything was professional and stunning. The ceremony was memorable and meaningful. Valentina made our day so special. Ho contattato Valentina, se non sbaglio, 15 mesi prima del mio matrimonio, quindi è stato un lavoro molto lungo e composto da moltissime telefonate e messaggi. Valentina è stata un aiuto prezioso e fondamentale per il nostro grande giorno, è stata molto professionale e mi ha supportata moltissimo. Mi ha fatto sentire la futura sposa meno stressata del mondo, non ho dovuto preoccuparmi di nulla. E' stata molto precisa e attenta ad ogni particolare, tutte è andato ben oltre le mie aspettative.

Finding Valentina and Dragonfly Events was the best thing we did. With very little notice she pulled off such a special day for Anthony and myself.
