Villa Zagara exceeded every expectation.

From our very first conversations through the final moments of our wedding, the entire Villa Zagara team was nothing short of exceptional. Planning a destination wedding comes with a lot of moving pieces, and Dorotea, Dario, Alessandra, and Angelo handled every detail with professionalism, patience, and genuine care.

What stood out most on the day of the wedding was how flawlessly the staff worked together as one team. It truly felt like a large, highly coordinated group ensuring that every guest had the same experience at the same time — from dinner service to transitions throughout the venue. Despite the property spanning several acres, moving guests between different areas felt completely seamless and thoughtfully planned.

Guests were genuinely surprised by how smoothly the evening unfolded, from one moment to the next, without ever feeling rushed or confused. That level of coordination and logistical planning allowed us to stay fully present and enjoy every part of the celebration.

The venue itself is stunning, but what truly makes Villa Zagara special is the people behind it. Their dedication, warmth, and attention to detail allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our wedding day. We couldn’t recommend Villa Zagara — and this incredible team — more highly.

It’s difficult to put into words just how incredible Villa Zagara truly is. I had my wedding there this September, and I honestly cannot fault a single thing. From the moment you step into the villa, it feels like discovering a hidden paradise. There are multiple beautiful areas to use throughout the day, which meant every part of the wedding felt fresh, unique, and full of its own joyful energy.

The flowers were stunning, the villa itself is breathtaking, and the viewpoint overlooking Marina Grande, especially at sunset, is simply unforgettable. The food was also outstanding; every single guest told me it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding.

The staff deserve a special mention, as they were exceptional from start to finish. Everyone was incredibly attentive, and no guest was ever left waiting. A particular thank you to Dario, who went above and beyond to look after my elderly grandparents, even driving them between areas in the golf cart. They were truly treated like royalty.

Even before the wedding day, the experience was outstanding. The villa tours and menu tasting felt like special occasions in themselves. Everything was handled with such care and attention. The entire experience was flawless, and my wedding day was genuinely the best day of my life. I only wish I could do it all over again.

We have been lucky to celebrate our wedding at Villa Zagara in July 2025 and it was just a DREAM.
This villa is magnificent, with a gigantic pool, romantic vibes, wonderful chef and kitchen with local tasty products : it cannot get any better. The villa is located in the center of Sorrento, which makes it very convenient for your guests to arrive from closeby hôtels. The owners and the staff are extremely nice and helpful, they will make you feel like Family. There is also an underground room to be able to dance the night away until late. The food was excellent. The face that it has various areas like la piazzetta, the pool, the olive trees etc makes it perfect for the various moments of a wedding. Look nowhere else, this is the place to be to get married with immaculate vibes and your guests will remember for EVER!

Villa Zagara was truly the dream location for our wedding. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was special, but experiencing our big day there was beyond anything we could have imagined. It is such a romantic and magical place.

One of the best things about the venue is the layout—there are so many different beautiful areas to utilize, which makes the wedding feel incredibly unique and personal to us. It didn't feel like a "cookie-cutter" wedding factory; it felt like a private paradise.

The planning process was seamless thanks to the incredible team. A huge shoutout to Dorotea and her entire team for being so attentive, professional, and warm throughout the planning and on the actual day. They made sure everything ran perfectly.

And the food—absolutely spectacular! Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. It really was the best day of my life, and I would recommend Villa Zagara to anyone looking for a breathtaking destination for their wedding.

I very rarely leave reviews. But, in this instance it is well warranted. My daughter got married there on October 8th 2024. It was an all outdoor wedding and storming that day. The villa along with our wedding planners pivoted and made a raining outdoor wedding spectacular. They moved us to a green house that was spectacular and made it every bit as special. In addition to that, they had to carry all the food from the kitchen under umbrellas. The food arrived all hot and perfect. Not once did my daughter feel like she was cheated out of a beautiful wedding day. Everyone down to the waiters were amazing. Hats off the the Villa for making the best out of what could have been a very stressful situation for my daughter. 100% recommend!

We booked Villa Zagara for our wedding venue and it could not have been better!! We didn’t see the villa at all before but it was more beautiful than any of the pictures. Also their team, especially Natalia and Dorotea, were extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process and helped so much with the spatial planning of all of it. The villa has such diverse grounds it’s perfect for any type of aesthetic or offers the opportunity for each part of the wedding to feel different. The staff as a whole was so accommodating and made sure we were able to be present for the entire event! I can’t speak highly enough about the people and the place!!

La storia di una delle più incantevoli e suggestive parti del mondo che si fonde con gli aromi e i sapori di una terra ricca di cultura e bellezza. Le piante officinali fanno da cornice ad uno spettacolo di fiori e ad un giardino curato nei minimi dettagli, un percorso di odori sotto la lunga galleria illuminata che ti inebria e tutto ciò diventa quasi irreale!
La cucina è solo un percorso di profumi e gusti eccellenti!
La balsameria! Cosa dire? Un posto intriso di passione e impegno!.
Un posto unico, magico.

My husband and I got married here in September 2023. Villa Zagara was the absolute best! Their team is PERFECTION from their Villa coordinators, Dorotea & Noemi, to their chef and maitra d Angelo, they were the best! Every detail of our wedding was executed perfectly!!!! The coordinators were very responsive and were on top of every part of our wedding planning process. They eased our anxiety about everything. They had every recommendation and gave us the best insight. The day of, they were beyond professional and on top of every single minute. They communicated perfectly and every minute was perfection. The food is to die for!!!! Everything was made from their gardens and was so beyond fresh. I would highly recommend this place for the most absolute dream of a wedding!!!! They treat you like family and I truly can’t wait to go back and visit again! We stayed at the Villa the night of our wedding and the next morning they prepared a beautiful breakfast for us. We truly can’t thank them enough for making our day absolutely perfect!!!! GRAZIE MILLIE🤍🤍🤍

My husband and I got married here in April 2023 and I truly cannot say enough about how gorgeous this venue is and how incredible the staff is. They’re absolute pros and they clearly know how to run an event to make it feel truly special. The food and wine (very important to us!) was awesome, the grounds were impeccably kept, and the service was excellent, and all of the other vendors they recommended to us - from the florist to the musicians- provided flawless service beyond our expectations. Our guests were wowed, and it felt like a wedding that cost 3x what we paid for it. Thank you, team Villa Zagara- we hope to come back for another event one day!

If I had to pick two words to describe Villa Zagara, it would be Surreal and Family. Villa Zagara is set in the heart of Sorrento and is one of the most beautiful places in Italy. The venue has the largest secluded private gardens within Sorrento, spectacular views, a beautiful pool and mouth watering fresh food. The amazing ambience provided an enchanting setting that made our special day even more unforgettable.
Italy is renowned for its hospitality and warm-hearted people, and Villa Zagara's staff far exceeded those expectations. Their team of experts worked harmoniously to transform our wedding dreams into reality. They went above and beyond making every detail feel like pure magic. Their genuine warmth, attentiveness, and unwavering commitment to flawless execution made us feel not like mere guests, but cherished members of their own family. Our only regret was that we had to leave such a special place and our new found family behind.

A small piece of private bliss in the stunning Sorrento coastline. Cannot speak highly enough of the location (it's beautiful) but a special mention goes out to the staff, who always went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. Natalia, who was our main point of contact, couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. In addition to our stay, we opted for the Italian cooking class, which was fantastic. Everything is as advertised if not better and highly recommended for any couple looking to getaway and relax.

My husband and I had our wedding here and we couldn’t have dreamt of how amazing this venue and our wedding turned out. I am really struggling to put into words how magical this venue is. I recently got married at Villa Zagara and could not have picked a better venue if i tried. The attention to detail that the team put into your wedding day is incredible. When i first visited the venue a year before my wedding i knew i had to get married here. Every corner of the venue offers something unique. Dorotea, Noemi, Francesco and Natalia thank you so so much for everything. You went above and beyond to ensure my wedding day was perfect. I felt like an absolute princess and pretty much all of our 120 guests said it was honestly one of the best weddings they have ever been to. The first time my dad saw the venue he cried!! The best day of my life and i honestly believe this is down to the team at Villa Zagara! The food is outstanding the best italian food I have ever tasted. If you are considering having your wedding at Villa Zagara please just book it you will not regret your decision. I cannot wait to come back to this magical venue to relive the moments and memories that were created in such a special place. They really do make you feel part of the Villa Zagara family. Thank you once again to all the team and I cannot wait to see you all again soon. Xx

Nel cuore della città di Sorrento, Villa Zagara è la location ideale per dare vita a uno dei giorni più importanti nella vita di una coppia
Il parco di Villa Zagara è bellissimo sembra un enorme giardino incantato dove racchiude storie e segreti del passato. In esso si trovano olivi, cipressi, ortensie, noci, limoni, aranci ben curati e tante altre piante e profumi. Inoltre c'è una piscina olimpionica, fontane e una scala in pietra che sembra essere stata scolpita nei secoli. Luogo veramente affascinante con una terrazza dove si può ammirare il mare incantato di Sorrento. Il cibo gustosissimo, il personale gentilissimo e attentissimo a soddisfare immediatamente i commensali. Villa Zagara ha dato un contributo eccellente al matrimonio della nipote di mia moglie. Stupendo, superlativo. La location la consiglio a tutte le coppie che vogliono rendere il loro matrimonio un giorno memorabile.

If you are looking for a PERECT WEDDING VENUE, you are in the right place 🤩

We celebrated our wedding on May 7th and had the most beautiful celebration.

The venue itself is gorgeous! And has many beautiful separate areas to host different parts of your event.

The food was delicious and service was top notch. We did a special menu where we had separate stations for appetizers, where chefs prepared fresh mozzarella, sliced meats, grilled cheese sandwiches for us - such a beautiful experience!
So so so happy with our choice!

It has been a pleasure working with Dorothea, Noemi and Francesco who helped us organize the event and were calming me down when we thought it was going to rain :)

Ci sono tantissime location e poi c’è Villa Zagara.

Un paradiso terrestre racchiuso in un giardino che trasmette in ogni angolo i segreti della sua storia. Cura dei dettagli, qualità e grandissima professionalità: sono questi gli ingredienti che renderanno ogni evento unico e diverso, permettendo a ciascuno di poterlo realizzare esattamente come lo si desidera.

Ma c’è una componente che rende il tutto ineguagliabile ed è il fatto di “metterci il cuore”. La famiglia Apreda e il team sono persone magnifiche con un unico obiettivo: rendere ogni evento speciale e far godere agli ospiti di ogni singolo istante.

Abbiamo scelto Villa Zagara per il nostro matrimonio e la risceglieremmo altre mille volte.

Una delle ville più belle della Costiera Amalfitana. Immersa nel verde, con tanti ulivi e piante di arance e limoni, una bellissima piscina olimpionica e una vista incredibile sul golfo di Napoli. Insieme al mio attuale marito abbiamo deciso di sposarci in questa villa. Abbiamo trascorso una notte magica ed abbiamo scelto il menu di mare che ci ha lasciato molto soddisfatti e l’assistenza è stata impeccabile.
Sicuramente, una delle serate più belle della nostra vita. Ritorneremo presto!
