Our wedding in Positano truly went above our expectations. From start to finish, Simona and Michela handled every single detail with attention and care, making the whole experience feel effortless and just perfect.

They patiently answered my billions of questions, kept communication smooth and clear, and were always available whenever we needed them via Zoom and email. They plan so many beautiful weddings, but they made me feel like I was their only client. They made the it actually enjoyable - I didn't feel much stress during the planning process because I trusted that they had everything handled.

During the three days of wedding festivities, they were there for every moment, making sure everything ran perfectly. Having two of them was amazing, because one of them was always available.

Simona! HIRE HER!!! Words cannot express our gratitude for Simona and the Happy Brides team! Absolutely incredible! Simona was incredibly responsive, communicative, patient and dedicated! She was detail-oriented while not making us feel overwhelmed. She was great throughout all stages - acquiring vendor options and quotes, helpful in vendor selection (without being pushy), all the way through to the day of coordination. We are based in the US and she did a fabulous job translating our vision to the various vendors. Simona was extremely flexible with schedules and time changes and always seemed to put our scheduling needs above hers.

The entire Happy Brides team made the day of much easier than anticipated! From collecting paper suite and reception items the week leading up to the wedding to ensuring exact details were met the day of. Literally everything - ensuring the table was set exactly to specifications, flowers transitioned from one area to another, menus and paper items placed in their correct locations for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception, etc.

We had a light rain shower during our outdoor dinner - Simona and the team did absolutely everything to make both my husband and I, as well as our guest, completely calm. She found a way to find 50 umbrellas for guests to share while withstanding the beginning of the shower and seamlessly transitioned us inside to let the shower pass. During this time she ensured the table remained dry outside, guests were enjoying beverages and speeches inside and the caterers were waiting with just enough time to serve delicious and warm food when the rain passed 20 minutes later. This allowed us to enjoy our dream table with all of our guests outside. This created a core memory for everyone!

As far as personality, she has the sweetest demeanor and seems to work well with all personality types a bride and/or groom may have! I’m very type A and have a lot of ideas. She executed everything so well and improved my vision more than I could imagine!

We cannot recommend Simona enough! She’s became a friend for life!

We got married in September 2025 on the Amalfi Coast with 45 of our closest friends and family.

From our first meeting with Simona, we felt like we were in good hands. We worked with her and Michela to plan the wedding, and they exceeded every expectation. Choosing Happy Brides Weddings as our planning team was the best choice we made in our entire wedding planning journey. After a year and a half of planning and countless emails, we are so happy to say that our wedding weekend was straight out of a fairytale - truly the best days of our lives.

They planned our entire wedding weekend including our welcome party, wedding day, and farewell brunch. They found our wedding day venue, our welcome party venue, our florist, officiant, caterer, DJ and basically everything else related to our wedding events - we owe so much to them. Every vendor they connected us with was exceptional and fit our vision perfectly.

Simona and Michela were both so lovely to work with. They were incredibly responsive, patient with all of our questions, and always made us feel like we were their only clients. Even with one of our family members who was older, they were so helpful with making sure he could get up and down the stairs and ensuring he was comfortable. Their attention to detail and genuine care for our guests truly touched our hearts.

We feel like we became friends with them along the way, which made the entire experience even more special.

They understood our vision and brought it to life in ways we couldn't have imagined. On the day of the wedding, everything flowed seamlessly, and we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment.

We couldn’t have dreamt of a better wedding day. Everything was incredible and we are so thankful we chose Simona to be our wedding planner. Where do we even begin! Simona was overall absolutely incredible and helped us plan the most magical wedding we could ever dream of.

When we started out we knew we wanted to get married in the Amalfi Coast but otherwise had no idea what we wanted. Simona helped us to pick an incredible region (Ravello - we had never even been there before) that ended up being our favourite place in the world (and all our guests ended up saying the same!). Along the way she gave us so many amazing recommendations - the perfect amount of options to choose from amazing vendors (not too many that we felt overwhelmed). All of the selections were perfection - venue, music, flowers, photography, videography and beyond! She also helped us to plan an incredible welcome dinner for all our guests.

When it came time to selecting an officiant Simona offered to do this for us (symbolic ceremony) and it was absolutely perfect especially as we had gotten to know her so well over our wedding planning process.

Simona was so responsive, always open to specific requests and always made herself available by email or Zoom for regular check-ins to review the progress.

Planning a wedding across the world is not easy but Simona made the process a breeze. I cannot even express how happy we were with the final result!

Let me start by saying I cannot imagine our wedding being any more magical, and this was all thanks to Happy Brides Weddings. We were a slightly different clientele than most destination wedding planners expect as we are Americans who have been locally in Italy for a short while but still didn’t know much Italian at all or where to begin in planning our Amalfi Coast wedding. We met with a few planners before landing on Simona, and we knew the minute we left our first meeting that she was the one for us. She was incredibly warm and patient, and immediately picked up on my vision for our wedding-before I had even been able to fully form it myself. We wanted a mixed experience of planning online and in person when possible and she made that such a fun, memorable, while also efficient experience. Throughout the planning process she listened and delivered on every whim we had while suggesting beautiful ideas to make our wedding truly stand out.

Come wedding day, it ended up raining most of the day, yet Simona somehow made that into a god send with the most beautiful indoor ceremony while keeping our garden vision alive for the terrace covered reception. I never once worried as I knew she had it all under control, complete with a reassuring smile throughout the whole weekend. So many of my fondest memories from this weekend include Simona as she just radiates such positive and calming energy. I would also just mention that all of my vendors were just as excited to be working with Simona and as I was! Both for her kindness, professionalism, and artful vision that they have come to expect when working with her. I think such high praise from those in the business themselves really says it all. Thank you for everything, our wedding still feels like a dream come true.

I cannot recommend Simona enough! From the moment we met, she impressed us with her professionalism, attention to detail, and eye for design. Throughout the planning process, she kept us organized and on track, while also making sure we stayed true to our vision for the big day.

Simona was also very easy to communicate with. She was always responsive to our emails and calls, and went out of her way to keep us in the loop about every decision and detail. She was also great at helping us choose and manage all the different vendors involved in our wedding, and made sure everyone was on the same page. She was also extremely helpful with planning travel details and logistics that made our entire wedding/honeymoon trip easy and organized.

Simona was the most wonderful planner I could have possibly hoped for. My husband and I are based in the US, and we hired her in late 2019 for our destination wedding on the Amalfi Coast. Shortly after we began planning together, COVID hit, and there was a lot of confusion and emotional uncertainty. Simona was attentive, understanding, and kind all throughout the long process of deciding whether to continue with the destination idea - and once we decided it was still what we wanted to do, she was on top of everything right away.

She was incredibly helpful and organized during the ~2.5 years of planning, fielding all of the 1 billion questions I had for her every week, and incorporating every detail I’d asked for that was actually possible. She coordinated for us a happy hour event, a welcome dinner, the entire wedding including an afterparty at a nearby wine bar, and a post-wedding boat day for us - and all 4 events went off basically without a single hitch. I had at least 12 guests come up to me and tell me it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and still have people raving to me about it almost a month later.

Not only was Simona fantastic throughout the planning process, but during the events she was just amazing. She was everywhere she needed to be, yet never in the way; she anticipated every need before it occurred and either took care of it, or discreetly came up to ask my preference during a lull. Anytime I needed her, I could look up and she’d find me. There *will* be things that go wrong on your wedding day, but with a good planner, they can mostly be fixed before they affect anything. For example:
1. Right before my bridespeople and I walked out for the ceremony, an opera singer began singing loudly for an event at the property next to our venue. It drowned out our string musicians and was all you could hear in the ceremony area. Simona simply hopped on the phone, appealed to the other venue, and the singing stopped.
2. Our band (not coordinated through Simona) arrived very late for our post-dinner dancing, throwing off our planned schedule a bit. Simona seamlessly re-worked the order of the cake-cutting and first dance, and everything went perfectly.

Lastly, to any non-Italian bride who is thinking of doing a destination wedding in Italy, I cannot stress enough that you MUST have an Italian planner who is ideally from that area. There is no substitute for someone who knows the vendors, knows how to approach everyone, shares a native language, and innately understands all cultural nuances - it will put everyone more at ease, and any small issues that arise will be dealt with easily.

And to any bride at all, if you are considering the Amalfi or Sorrentine Coasts, go with Happy Brides.

The references she provided me highly recommended her and I experienced first hand why they loved her so much. Her communication skills are SUPERIOR! She always follows up and follows through and in a timely manner.
First off, relinquishing control to Simona was easy to do. She is trustworthy, professional, experienced, patient and very friendly. She knew perfectly what I was envisioning once we provided guidance. She verified information multiple times with us, to include the day prior to our 20th vow renewal. She knew how important it was to reassure us that everything was going to be perfect.
The vendors she recommended were incredibly professional and friendly. The day of, Simona was putting in all the work to make sure I could focus my energy on enjoying the moment which can be difficult to do for someone who has to be in the know about everything; but I felt reassured after working with Simona for so many months that she knew what she was doing. I could relax!

Simona exceeded all of our wedding expectations and so much more. She was informative, responsive and her kind personality made her a pleasure to work with. She kept in constant contact for the full year before the wedding whenever a decision had to be made. Simona created the most beautiful table design and archway for the ceremony based on only a few photos and ideas from myself. She is creative, with impeccable taste. She was also out officiant, which made her presence there even more special.
Planning a destination wedding seems like a daunting task, with so many details out of your control. But the moment I emailed with Simona, I knew she would make this easy for me. My wedding day was STRESS free. I don’t think many brides can say that. I felt secure and comfortable that everything would go accordingly, and it did. Simona helped me chose an incredible hair and makeup artist, and they did not disappoint. My photographer was also incredible beyond words. From when we got engaged a year and a half ago and chose Simona as our wedding planner, to the day we got married, Simona has been an outstanding professional. She always responded to any and all questions promptly and thoroughly. I can say we definetly would not have had the same amazing wedding day without her help every step of the way. She was there to meet with us in Sorrento 1 year before we got married there and was regularly in touch with updates as they came up. You can tell, once meeting Simona that she is genuinely passionate about making your wedding so special and honestly makes you feel as if you are her only client, even as she is arranging different weddings all at different stages at the one time. We felt that we were in very good hands with Simona, and all of her advice steered us in the right direction each time. She has a great relationship with vendors and seems to really enjoy what she does, which comes across and makes the whole wedding planning process less stressful. She was able to make suggestions and then be flexible with us if we had certain things in mind as well. I feel it was very collaborative and she never tried to take over or dictate anything. She was a joy to work with and on the wedding day, everything went so smoothly, which was a real credit to her months of planning and preparation. Simona was also incredibly organized from a pricing and financing point of view at all times and was incredibly transparent in the invoicing of items purchased which also removed the stress involved in the paying of wedding bills from such a distance.
We are also an Irish/American couple and Simona did an excellent job of simplifying this process for us to ensure our marriage was legal and legitimate on the wedding day. We can say this now that the wedding is over but we both feel Simona is generous from an overall pricing point of view. Given the amount of work that she covered throughout the year of planning and the standard of work we both think that she should be charging far more. Her response to that comment was that she enjoyed supporting boutique weddings. Amazing.
We truly believe that we would not have been able to achieve this quality of support and collaboration with any other wedding planner and could not rate Simona highly enough as a wedding planner.
