I booked a 3 hour cooking class for lunch here and it was the highlight of our entire Italy vacation. I had researched quite a number of cooking classes in the Sorrento area, but this one stood out because of the ambience of their farmhouse and that it was a private lesson. It did not disappoint. From the moment we started up the trail to the farmhouse, we could tell it was special. The cooking area is a very large open room with fresh produce everywhere - the aromas were intoxicating. It was great that the class was not just in some kitchen of a rented building like many in downtown Sorrento, but rather we had access to the entire farmhouse. Our instructor was Rossella, one of the co-owner siblings of the farmhouse, and she was just so much fun to work with, and she supplemented the teaching with great stories and reasons why we prepared the food the way we did. We even got to meet Rossella's father, who was the family florist, and see all of his unique floral creations. Weeks before we arrived, I had the option to set our menu, which I did, which was great because I was able to pick some things that my wife (who loves to cook) would enjoy making when we returned home. We made (and ate) bruschetta, fettucelle, stuffed lemon chicken, and tiramisu. We also got to enjoy some of their home made wines and alcohols, complementary. The whole experience was just so much fun and memorable, and I really think it was so much better because it was private (not shared with other parties) and because the farmhouse is just so rustic, cozy, and welcoming.

We booked the accommodation for our close family and friends to have a wedding party over a weekend. We wanted to book the whole place for accommodation to enjoy with everyone, Rossella and teams were really helpful at finding dates that would work as well as having a wedding party on the Saturday. The view is incredible, the location can be hard to find, we used whats 3 words for all our guests ( definitely hire a small car). It is hilly and a walk to the pool etc. But totally worth it ..the restaurant is rustic and homely with excellent food. Rossella and Luigi couldn't be more accommodating and made everyone feel welcome ( and we are quite a lively bunch). The wedding table was beautiful, and we opted for sagra contadina. We used 12 Corde for a duo and band for after dinner for dancing, they were also excellent.. Accommodation is rustic but very clean and the all our guests were comfortable and enjoyed the incredible views. Breakfast is very good. |The local village has some excellent restaurants as well, also a short walk from the accommodation but take flat shoes. Taxis weren't particularly easy and quite expensive, but there is a bus stop in the village and for a couple of euros you can get into Sorrento. If you are looking for an intimate and family feel vibe, this is the place.

Bellissima esperienza in un paesaggio davvero mozzafiato e rilassante, la struttura è particolare, fatta di terrazze e gradini vari, certo non adatta a bambini o a disabili. Le camere sono un po’ vecchie nell’arredo ma sono davvero molto pulite e dotate di tutti i comfort. Il personale è gentilissimo sia le persone alla reception, che il personale di sala del ristorante, le signore delle pulizie al mattino, le signore della colazione: a proposito di colazione, mai fatta una così buona con prodotti freschissimi sia Dolci che salati, consiglio vivamente le uova fatte sempre al momento! Il ristorante è stata davvero una sorpresa! Molta attenzione alle allergie e alle intolleranze. Belle le esperienze proposte tra i servizi: tipo come fare la pizza o come fare la pasta. Unico neo piscina un po’ piccola e non sorvegliata, (infatti c’è stato qualche turista poco educato) e nessuna attrazione disponibile in agosto (né animali, né mucche etc).

We reserved a cooking demonstration and lunch at Fattoria Terranova - it was a stop from Naples on our way to Amalfi Coast. We learned how to make gnocchi and ravioli and then were provided an explanation about mozzarella. We were provided a limoncello tasting and then had an amazing lunch with incredible wines. I highly recommend this lunch and demonstration because the chef and sommelier were so charming and educational. For our first day, it was incredible and we purchased olive oil there as well. Loved it!

We took many steps downward to reach the beautiful rustic farm. Once there, we were greeted by a sommelier for wine tasting and a multi-course dinner at the restaurant. The sommelier talked about foods grown on the farm, how grapes are turned into wine and the varieties of wines. We also tasted limoncello. Products such as olive oil and wine were available for purchase and can be shipped to customers. I did not visit the hotel at the farm. The farm accommodates other events, such as weddings, also. The food was delicious & plentiful. We were driven by golf cart up the hill to our bus. It was a good evening.

We were recommended by our air BnB to have dinner here. We walked from our BnB up the hill and had the most spectacular views at sunset over the ocean. What an amazing restaurant and the food was delicious and all sourced locally and grown on the farm. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to do the cooking class which would have been amazing. The atmosphere and excellent service was amazing too!

C'è poco da dire se non che qua si rasenta la perfezione.
Potrei parlare della gentilezza e professionalità dei proprietari, della struttura immersa nel verde, nei tanti servizi che offrono a partire da una piccola piscina con vista sul mare, ma la vera chicca è senza dubbio la cucina. Che sia stato colazione, pranzo o cena abbiamo mangiato divinamente. Piatti preparati con ingredienti locali e spesso autoprodotti capaci di farti commuovere tanto che erano buoni. Considerando poi il rapporto qualità-quantità-prezzo, qui vincono a mani basse.
Consigliato? No, vi obbligo proprio ad andarci!

La Fattoria Terranova è un posto che ti resta nel cuore. Si cena davvero in un giardino, circondati dal verde e da un’atmosfera che mette subito serenità. La cucina è eccellente, piatti curati e saporiti, e il rapporto qualità-prezzo è davvero sorprendente.
Ma la vera magia sono Rossella e Luigi: ti accolgono come se fossi un amico di famiglia, e in pochi minuti ti senti a casa.
È uno di quei luoghi dove non vedi l’ora di tornare, ogni volta che ne hai la possibilità.

El lugar es muy lindo para ir en familia ya que hay varias actividades para los mas chicos. Tiene un restaurante muy lindo y muy bien servido. La atencion es muy buena y el precio es acorde a lo que se recibe.

Concuerdo que llegar ahí es para quien cuenta con auto, ya que se encuentra alejado de la calle principal y la fattoria esta ubicada entre curvas en una colina. La habitación que nos toco sencilla, bastan pocas cosas para hacer una diferencia, como atornillar el porta toallas, el porta rollo, poner un lugar para secar las toallas, la tv no servía aunque no estuvimos gran tiempo en la habitación. Las fotos del jardín corresponden al área de recepción, desayuno y tienda. Estuve 3 noches, el desayuno era dulce con una gran variedad de pasteles, galletas, chocolate, café, algo de pan, escaso queso que se acababa muy rápido. El ultimo día me entere que a petición del cliente y con un costo adicional te podían preparar un desayuno a tu gusto (omeletes quizá, no había información. El wi-fi era en el área de desayuno gratuito.

Estuvimos dos noches en este lugar, como base para visitar la costa Amalfi. Solo lo recomiendo en caso de que tengas auto en Italia, de lo contrario es muy difícil llegar. A pesar de estar muy bien señalizado, entras en una gran cantidad de curvas que te pueden confundir, sigue siempre los carteles de la vía. Estando allí encuentras un lugar campestre con una habitación básica, limpia, que cumple con lo necesario para una corta estadía. Teníamos gran expectativa con el restaurante ya que los comentarios son súper buenos y realmente cumplió y superó la expectativa; excelente servicio y una comida exquisita en un ambiente muy acogedor en un lugar rústico pero hermoso.
