Absolutely magical! Our stay at Villa Livia in Ischia was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking view of the Aragonese Castle—truly the best on the island, and right from the comfort of our front porch. It’s the kind of view you never get tired of, especially with a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine in hand.

The villa itself felt like a private paradise. Nestled among charming lemon trees just off our terrace, it gave us a sense of peace and seclusion, yet was close to everything we needed. We even had our own private scooter parking, which is a rare find in Ischia and made exploring the island incredibly easy.

One of the biggest highlights was the incredible staff—attentive, friendly, and always available either in person or via WhatsApp. They made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive.

During our stay, we got engaged on the island, and to our surprise and delight, the staff left a complimentary bottle of wine in our room to help us celebrate. It was such a thoughtful touch that made an already unforgettable trip even more special.

The included breakfast was delicious, served fresh each morning with local touches. If we could change one thing, it would just be to add a little more protein to balance out the offerings—but even without that, it was a great start to the day.

If you’re looking for romance, tranquility, and authentic Italian charm with top-notch service, Villa Livia is the place to be. We’ll be dreaming of that view until we can come back!

5-are all around (and I can be picky customer as it comes to hotels). Amazing view on the castle from the terrace, helpful and friendly service, comfortable room and spacious bathroom (very quiet, you open shutters to lemon trees and singing birds in the morning). And private parking - critical in Ischia where street parking is a pain and typically 2 eur/hour.
The only opportunity for improvement I can see is the water temperature: the shower was no more than lukewarm, but it could be a widespread issue on the islands as we had exactly the same problem in Procida.

The most perfect and charming boutique hotel with gorgeous rooms and the most amazing view of the castle Aragonese. Looked really upmarket and stylish, so the price was very reasonable. Breakfast was lovely. The hosts who run it were wonderful too. Would 100% stay again. Highly recommend getting up to appreciate the breathtaking sunrise over the castle.

Super nice hotel. Breakfast included was quite generous, though lacking on protein. Mostly delicious pastries and fruit. Fruit and leftover pastries left covered in the hall for guests to graze all day which was great (esp. if you're on a budget!). Rooms really nice, view of back of property and lemon trees. Only thing was our room had a wifi bar mounted on the ceiling and although they tried to cover it, there was definitely quite a lot of light at night. View is stunning in front of property, as seen in the photos. They offer really great amenities such as yoga and pilates, although a bit pricier than expected (per person €25 a session, don't know how long they are). Not bad considering I assume you get this view, though! Quite easy to find and convenient location. Only thing we didn't love was that while we were staying one day we noticed that the staff were setting up the front of the property (the only place to sit outside, go in the pool, and relax in a common area) was set up for a private party, baby shower by the looks. We as guests were not notified, and although they didn't say we couldn't use the front of the property, its sort of awkward to crash an intimate Italian party... thought it was a bit cheeky of the hotel. Otherwise great service in all ways!

Villa Livia was so nice, the rooms are so clean and comfortable. Easy to access with a code, large showers, comfortable bed. Refrigerator inside, a tv as well. There is breakfast in the morning, and snacks to enjoy throughout the day. The staff is so pleasant. I felt like everyone was so friendly and accommodating. There is a great view of the castle in front of the Villa. Lemon trees and greenery that surrounds the Villla. Very pleased with our stay!

Villa Livia is a fantastic place where you will feel like you are in your own private villa. Beautifully decorated and clean rooms, wonderful breakfast on the terrace with a view of the Aragonese castle. Staying in the garden next to the small pool in silence with only the sounds of birds will completely relax you. Marianna is a great owner who will guide you in everything and make your stay extra pleasant. A warm recommendation for a stay of a few days in this wonderful environment.

Our staying at the hotel villa Livia was amazing. I’ve never been in such a nice place in Italy. The place is really cute and good vibes. The room was great. You will sleep in a great bed very comfortable. The breakfast was good too. Very clean room every day. But the must is the host Francesco.we won’t forget his kindness, his advices and his sense of humor. We were happy to meet such a nice person. Ho soggiornato nella splendida Villa Livia con il mio compagno per 2 notti e 3 giorni, è proprio il caso di dire che la presenza del proprietario fa la differenza. La villa è unica, immersa nel verde e con una vista panoramica che fa da padrona. In giardino è possibile anche trovare un idromassaggio, una zona solarium e tavolini con poltroncine dove ti puoi comodamente rilassare, sempre nella magia del verde.
Abbiamo scelto la camera Aragona, che ha un accesso esclusivo al giardino, oltre ad essere la più grande di tutte.
Francesco, oltre ad essere uno splendido padrone di casa, ti aiuta e consiglia e guida fra i locali tipici o ciò che vuoi scoprire di Ischia.
Il prezzo è davvero nella media, torneremo sicuramente!

An absolutely beautiful property with the best view of the castle and water. The rooms were spacious, great air conditioning, wifi and beautiful decor. What really stood out was the amazing hospitality we received during our entire stay (and the breakfast was AMAZING). We had such an amazing stay and received the best recommendations and felt like we were part of a family and at home. This is truly a gem of a residence/hotel/bed and breakfast and we will absolutely come back - I could not recommend Villa Livia enough! We actually checked into an airbnb for the second part of our stay just to try something new (we booked this prior to even getting to Ischia), and about an hour after, we realized it would not even come close to what we experienced at Villa Livia, and Francesco and Laura welcomed us back with open arms, arranged taxis for us and made the rest of our stay better than we could have imagined. We can't wait to come back.

La villa, il panorama e il personale rendono l’atmosfera incantevole e super rilassante. Si ha sempre la sensazione di sentirsi a casa. La colazione è eccezionale con prodotti locali e tradizionali gustosissimi. Villa Livia... An idyllic place on Ischia! Francesco & Laura are incredible, considerate, always listening with valuable advice.

As for the villa, the view on the castle is amazing, the garden is magnificent. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated... It's just great.
The breakfast is very copious and varied.
