my partner and i came for the day. we booked a daybed at the beach club in advance… and wow, everything was just wow. the views are gorgeous, the water is clean, the staff is attentive and kind… we had such an amazing time. we will def. be back.

Inconsistent quality for consistently high prices. You have to remind yourself over and over again that you're paying for the location.|The location is an absolute dream with amazing views from the (beachless) beach club and the hotel rooms. They offer drinks and snacks during the day which are consistently delicious and expensive (20€ for a Spritz or non-alcoholic cocktail).|The hotel rooms do offer a great view from the balcony, but were also tiny, dusty (not cleaned under the bed) and you could hear everything your neighbors were doing. It was the only place without a rain shower in the bathroom during our 2-week stay in Italy, even though the room rate was the highest.|We stayed here for 2 days and on the first day there was a wedding party in the location next door. They blasted very loud dance music from 2pm - 8pm which was deafening not only throughout the entire resort but also in the badly isolated hotel room. We complained multiple times and asked the service team for information how long this would continue. The service lady told us multiple times she would call and inform us but even after three requests and multiple hours just simply didn't do it. We had to leave the resort and get dinner somewhere else just to stop the noise.|The next day we complained to the other service lady and she apologized and said they will do better next time. She offered nothing in return. As the day continued we would eventually get a free drink. While that is somewhat nice, it's just kind of a joke compared to a full day of techno terror and lying staff at your "eden resort".|The food they serve is freshly made and of solid to high quality. We had several dishes on the menu, some of which were boring and mediocre, others were really nice. You pay 30€ for a small pasta with tomato sauce.|Other service annoyances were a glass splinter they had overlooked at cleaning in the restaurant area and my partner stepped on, which lead to a 1cm deep cut in his foot. Some waitresses don't speak English. When I asked for joghurt with fruit at breakfast she said they didn't have that and then continued to serve the table next to us (a couple that spoke Italian) some joghurt with fruit. Some of the pools were always closed for some reason and at 7pm they asked us to leave the pools because they would be cleaned now (which didn't happen for the rest of the night). When I payed upon our departure, the three ladies at the reception were talking about my tip ("manchia") in Italian, but I don't know what exactly they said. When I asked what they were talking about, they said it was nothing. Overall this is a disappointing service team for a place that thinks itself to be a high-class beach resort. The place clearly is a beach bar first and a hotel second. Having a fantastic location alone just doesn't make up for a badly trained service team in which some are doing their best while others are lying, joking about guests or simply refusing to do their job.|The owners of the place were even lying in their answer to my Google rating and insinuated I was lying in my review... That interaction just seamlessly continued the experience we had at the resort. This would be disappointing anywhere, but it's just highly inappropriate in a place in this price range.

Hostpitality at its best. Since our arrival by the boat we felt like in „White lotus”. Each member of Giardino Eden team was smiling, helpful, kind and spoke great English.

The food is amazing at any time of the day (breakfast, beachclub menu, dinner), the room had everything we needed and offered a great seaview, even the playlist was spot on.

Great to see the heritage of Mr Ugo Germani, who created this place, is cherished and continued.

We spent there one of the best weekends ever and definitely will be back!

Really came here for the great beach club vibes and chairs by the water. Not only did it scratch that itch but the lunch was delicious as well. A pleasant surprise when you need a break from the sun. Water was fantastic for a swim.

The beach club is beautiful and the vibe is great.
But you would think that the price of the snack bar is going to reasonable since you have to pay a ticket for being there, but no. And it’s not only that the food is expensive but it’s not that great.
So i would recommend to come here only for the beach and drinks if you’re hotel doesn’t have a beach, because it’s pricey.
The drinks and the pastries are good but the food isn’t worth it. Extremely overpriced for the quality you’re getting. And the service is okay, but for it to be a luxury beach club, you should be getting fresh dry towels every now and then instead of getting one per person for the whole day.

Those complaining about pricing should find an Olive Garden. This is an experience of a life time, the price comes with it.

Il Giardino dell’Eden è davvero meraviglioso.
Vorrei sottolineare in particolare i ragazzi con le magliette rosse, presenti sul posto: sono super gentili, alla mano e davvero bravi in quello che fanno. Se si apprezza il loro lavoro e magari si lascia anche qualche piccolo riconoscimento, secondo me è assolutamente giustificato.

Vorrei anche menzionare il giovane alla reception: Matteo. È estremamente competente, trova sempre una soluzione e dimostra quanto sia preziosa una collaborazione rispettosa – il rispetto genera rispetto. Grazie, Matteo!

Il servizio è già molto buono – ma, come nella vita, quando si mostra riconoscenza diventa ancora migliore.

Alle camere do 5 sulla fiducia perché noi siamo stati solo a cena in famiglia e comincio subito dicendo che ci è stato negato un tavolo più vicino al panorama rimasti poi liberi tutto il tempo della nostra permanenza quindi senza motivo valido ma do comunque 4 stelle al servizio perché le due ragazze sono state per il resto gentili e cordiali il cibo buono anche se qualche anno fa era ancora meglio mentre la location ed il panorama non hanno bisogno di presentazioni ed è meraviglioso anche il servizio barchetta che ti accompagna da e per la struttura che gentilmente (per il ritorno) ci ha offerto la struttura,peccato solo che a volte per una ciliegina si rischia di perdere l’intera torta .Esperienza comunque positiva anche se credevamo ancora meglio.

Location sublime, un paradiso terrestre. Atmosfera calma e rilassata.
Servizio impeccabile, una coccola per i clienti: gentili, simpatici, disponibili. Un’eleganza e galanteria unica.
Cibo a dir poco ottimo, da leccarsi i baffi dall’antipasto al dolce (indimenticabile cheesecake ai fichi).
Prezzi ovviamente elevati, ma giusti.
L’esperienza quasi ti fa dimenticare che devi salire 120 scalini con la pancia piena!🤣

Una location unica, suggestiva, quasi irreale: ci si arriva da terra oppure, per rendere l’esperienza ancora più magica, via mare con una graziosa barchetta messa a disposizione degli ospiti. Un dettaglio che anticipa l’atmosfera esclusiva che vi aspetta.||Il personale e la proprietà accolgono con un calore autentico, facendoti sentire subito a casa, ma con la cura e l’eleganza di un servizio di altissimo livello. Sempre disponibili, attenti, ma mai invadenti: una presenza discreta che contribuisce a rendere l’esperienza perfetta sotto ogni aspetto.||Il ristorante è un capitolo a parte. Riduttivo chiamarlo semplicemente tale, perché cenare ai Giardini Eden significa vivere un’esperienza multisensoriale. I piatti sono presentati con una cura estetica impeccabile, la qualità delle materie prime è eccellente, e ogni portata è un viaggio nei sapori mediterranei più autentici. Il tutto accompagnato da una selezione di vini e bollicine degna delle migliori cantine.||Ma è la vista a rendere questo luogo davvero indimenticabile: affacciati sul mare, con il Castello Aragonese che si staglia davanti agli occhi come un dipinto, si respira un’energia rigenerante. Qui non si viene solo per mangiare o rilassarsi, ma per ritrovare un po’ di sé stessi, per lasciarsi alle spalle il caos e abbandonarsi alla bellezza pura.

Let me start by saying the food is exquisite. Absolutely delicious. It’s also situated by the castle, which is pretty magical at night.

When we ate here last night, we arrived to an empty restaurant. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant with absolutely no view of the castle - it was hidden behind a wall. We kindly asked if we could have one of the tables by the water (they were all empty). They said the entire row of tables was reserved. We understood. We then noticed that there were additional tables next to those that also had a great view. One of them was about 15 feet from our table. I asked about it. They refused to let us sit there. Nobody was scheduled to sit there, they just didn’t want to accommodate us. If it were going to be a lot of work for them or some major request, I would understand. But it really was just saying no for the sake of saying no. They claimed “it might rain” as the reason, even though the skies were clear and there was no rain in the forecast. It rained for about 30 minutes an hour before but the storm had passed and there was zero sign of rain to come. (Update: it never rained again, as was very clear)

We left around 1030P and the restaurant only ever got about half full at its peak. That table sat empty the entire time.

Are they required to seat us there? Of course not. Was the refusal to accommodate when we traveled thousands of miles to be here for just a few short days frustrating? Absolutely. You see mixed reviews for this place. It’s never about the food. It’s always the service. And I understand why.

If they had just let us sit there, it would have made our night. It would have been zero sweat off their backs, yet it was more of a “no because I said so” thing than anything else. Have you ever met anyone who just enjoyed saying no because they could? That’s what it felt like.

Go to this place if you don’t care about good service and only want good food. If you want both, proceed with caution.

The setting at Giardino Eden is undeniably beautiful, but the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. Service was inconsistent—at times attentive, but often slow. We had to ask to move on to the desert.. they didn’t propose coffee.

Finding the entrance was also confusing. It’s poorly marked and looks more like a private house than a restaurant, which added an unnecessary layer of frustration at the start of the visit.

The desserts were definitely the highlight: well-prepared and enjoyable. At the prices they charge, they certainly should be. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn’t match that standard. The fish tartare, for example, was not that tasty but disappointingly small for such a high price.

Overall, a somewhat underwhelming experience. Giardino Eden has potential, but it needs to improve both its service and overall value to justify its upscale image.

Our two-day visit to Gardenia Mare was a tale of two experiences. Day one was a letdown,€240 for access (4-persons)but no proper sun loungers or umbrellas, leaving us uncomfortably exposed to the sun all day. Day two on the rock, however, was phenomenal. The stunning setting, breathtaking views, and some of Ischia’s finest food made it memorable. The staff earned a solid 5 stars, with our waitress and the catch of the day deserving 6 stars. Conveniently, the beach club is accessible via a €20 taxi boat (4-persons) from Hotel Miramare. Overall, a great spot, but confirm amenities beforehand to avoid disappointment.

Great location and the best possible greeting from the most polite woman from Lithuania.

Food - I was sick for the rest of the night and following day, this is the only place I ate. The same happend last year - very not nice.

And some of the staff have an attitude that is not for a place like this.
Other: overpriced wine, overpriced drinks - but great location.

Perfect honeymoon location. We are here for 5 nights and this is day two. This hotel has been everything we wanted and more. The room on arrival has been simple, elegant and sparkling clean. The space and decor are restful and airy and the bed is comfortable. The terrace with private shower and sun loungers is wonderful. And the scent of jasmine and the sound of the sea is a perfect backdrop. ||The staff are all super friendly and welcoming without being in your face. The food was beautiful, fresh and tasty. Breakfast is wonderful. The pools are well kept and relaxing and the seating areas are really peaceful with something for everyone. ||If I was to make tiny recommendations, for guests staying still/sparkling water in the room should be free. And perhaps a list of possible ideas for breakfast as it’s clear the chef will make anything wonderfully but sometimes in the morning the brain needs some ideas. Other than that there is nothing to improve this amazing place.

Posiblemente el restaurante con la mejor ubicación de Ischia. Traslado en barca con un recorrido impresionante, vista del castillo Aragonese al fondo, y cono colofon un extraordinario Beach Club para pasar el día.
Precios acorde con el lugar, pero totalmente justificado.
