Barbara and her team were an absolute dream to work with. They created such an incredible atmosphere for our day, she found all of our amazing vendors and executed a truly fairytale wedding for us!! We loved working with her and truly I cannot say enough how thankful we are for her thoughtfulness, attention to detail, kind words during the nerves before the ceremony and creativity to keep us within our budget! When we first decided we wanted to have a destination wedding in Italy we started looking/contacted multiple wedding planners to have zoom meetings to discuss our wedding vision. When we found Sinfonia Weddings right from the beginning Barbara made us feel so comfortable, she understood exactly what we wanted. Barbara went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations.
Coming from the US to Italy for the first time we had no idea what to expect.
Even though we had a small elopement wedding , every single detail was planned out perfectly
From the venue, florists, violinist, transportation, officiant, photographer, dinner, hair & make up crew, Boat ride.
Sinfonia Wedding really made our dreams come true, we will be forever grateful and thankful.

Abbiamo potuto realizzare il matrimonio dei nostri sogni e i nostri invitati ci hanno fatto un sacco di complimenti! Senza di lei non saremmo riusciti a realizzare nemmeno la metà di ciò che è stato fatto! Barbara è stata sempre professionale, gentile, disponibile e ci ha tolto veramente molto stress che comporta l'organizzazione di un matrimonio. La ringraziamo veramente con tutto il cuore!

I wouldn’t have posted this if I had not yet again saw two posts using our private video and images of our wedding day on Sinfonia wedding’s website. I had asked to not post, but it is what it is.

To be quite honest, I really pushed for Sinfonia to be our planner over a year prior to our wedding day. Despite a few meetings where our family seemed to push back, I continued to push for Sinfonia because I believed in them. I was really disappointed because I was their biggest advocate - I had even promoted them in the USA among my circles.
They are incredibly passionate and I think for the most part understands the style that you are looking for.
However, we ran into some issues with the planning after selecting our dream venue (which took some back and forth until we found it)
1. Quotes
From a general business standpoint, it is quite normal to ask for three vendor quotes for florals etc. so that you can get the best price out there. We faced situations where she thought one was enough and it caused unnecessary tension when asking for additional work to be done
2. Details and pushback
She tends to miss key details. It’s not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but I will give examples (1) we wanted rosemary on each plate at my wedding, we thought we had agreed because it was in our picture sent across. Unfortunately this was missing. In any case, it rained and our decor was not really important after all.
(2) Her florist did a good job but it wasn’t exactly what we wanted. Either way it turned out beautifully. But yeah, for those focused on details, maybe it would make you upset. I didn’t mind because at the end it was gorgeous regardless.
(3) I think checklists are super important. Not just on the day of the wedding but in the days prior. Important details like the vendor bringing furniture (all chairs and tables) for our wedding rehearsal were missed.
I spent a good portion of my rehearsal dinner running around checking on guests with wet hair because Sinfonia weddings did not arrive on time nor ensure this with the vendor. It was sad and not what we had imagined. Definitely not what we paid for
3. Timeline
The wedding was over an hour late to start. Sinfonia wedding advised my guests to be at their pick up locations punctually. They waited an hour in the summer heat to be picked up. Many complained about this. This was outside of the planner’s control, however knowing that this could happen, perhaps there could have had a better timeline and have guests arrive slightly earlier. When you pay for a venue, time matters.
4. Thank goodness for the venue
Venue was incredibly professional. Without the venue, the wedding will have had key details missed and a ton of panic. My friend was my officiant - I’m so glad about this - because she also took over some control of the ceremony etc.
5. Important music
Our first dance song was missed. They played single ladies instead. I had to get my friends to connect to the wifi to play the song on YouTube.
6. Videos and photos continue to be shared online - each without our consent.
It was pretty sad to see someone had shared our wedding video before we saw it. Sinfonia Weddings publicly shared our video prior to informing us and we had no idea that the preview had been released. I asked it to be removed, primarily because one of the venues did not allow us to post images on commercial sites. Our wedding videos and pictures continue to be shared on Sinfonia Wedding’s Instagram each time without consent.
7. There is more, I’d be happy to share key details, including text messages as evidence.

Overall, our wedding day was beautiful. The venue was lovely and professional, our loved ones were there, and my husband and I had each other. That really is all you need to be happy. While we may have been unlucky perhaps with our experience, I wouldn’t recommend Sinfonia Weddings as a planner. I would probably pick a venue out yourselves and have them recommend vendors instead.

Barbara is absolutely outstanding! If you’re looking for a wedding planner for your Italian wedding, look no further. Barbara is the best there is.

We are beyond grateful that we found Barbara to plan our Lake Como wedding. Living in the US, we had to rely heavily on our planner to help us make important decisions. Barbara did not disappoint. She was incredibly attentive; she kept in touch with us as often as necessary via WhatsApp and Zoom. She took the time to understand our esthetic, and she stayed true to our vision until she brought it to life. She did our sight inspections and ensured nothing less than excellence for us every step of the way.

Because she is the best in the business, she knows the very best vendors. Barbara connected us with a DJ, custom dress designer, florist, hair stylist… each one as talented and kind as the last. The wedding was an absolute dream, thanks to Barbara.

We recommend Sinfonia Wedding to the highest extent, she was an incredible pleasure to work with!
