We recently celebrated our wedding at Villa Mon Repos, and it was nothing short of perfection. From start to finish, the entire day exceeded every expectation we had. The venue itself is breathtaking, with stunning grounds and the most spectacular view over Isola Bella – a setting that truly felt like a dream.
The set-up was flawless, beautifully arranged to create an atmosphere that was both elegant and unforgettable. The food was impeccable, with every dish of the highest quality and presented with care, delighting all of our guests. The staff were exceptional – professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the day as special as possible.
The following day, we hosted a pool party and barbecue at the villa, which was the perfect way to continue the celebrations. Once again, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. Our guests loved relaxing on the beautiful grounds and enjoyed making the most of the pool – it created such a joyful, laid-back atmosphere after the wedding itself.
It was, without doubt, the best day of our lives, and we only wish we could relive it all over again. Villa Mon Repos will always hold the most special place in our hearts, and we cannot recommend it highly enough as a wedding venue.

Couples should proceed with great caution when considering Villa Mon Repos as their wedding venue.

I’ve attended two weddings there in recent years, and both couples faced significant issues leading up to their events. One couple even had to pay their deposit twice due to a “change in property management.” Shockingly, they found out after paying a deposit that the rights to host events at the villa had been auctioned after the previous owner passed away. Although the new team had access to the old booking agenda, existing deposits were not honoured.

While staying at a hotel overlooking the villa with the spouses, we noticed that on dates previously confirmed as booked, no events were taking place—suggesting that other couples may have moved their weddings elsewhere.

The venue is undoubtedly beautiful, and the staff are friendly. However, basic necessities like lockable bathrooms were missing at both events. Nearly everything required to facilitate a wedding is charged separately, rather than being included in the rental fee. Furthermore, third-party vendors recommended by the villa come at a steep markup, far above what’s typical for Sicily.

On the first of May 2025 we got married at Villa Mon Repos.
Everything was really fantastic.
The service and flexibility of the team were great.
From arrival at the villa to departure the next morning after the breakfast, the service was always personal and professional.
The food was super tasty, the beverages local and well appreciated.
The location obviously is superb, all our guests felt like they entered a film set.
We would like to leave a huge compliment to the team!

Non fatevi ingannare dal panorama. La gestione lascia a desiderare. Ho annullato la prenotazione dopo un solo mese, con un preavviso di 10 mesi, ma non mi è stato concesso alcun rimborso né alcuna possibilità di mediazione. Consiglio a chi sta valutando questa location di informarsi molto bene sulle condizioni prima di impegnarsi. Peccato per l’immagine che ne esce: oltre a noi, anche tutte le persone che ci conoscono avrebbero potuto scegliere questa location per i loro eventi futuri. In una città come Taormina, ricca di location straordinarie, la concorrenza è spietata: offrire un buon servizio fa la differenza.

Be cautious with the management: my experience was terrible. I had to cancel with 10 months’ notice and did not receive any refund, with no possibility of negotiation. I recommend anyone considering this venue to gather all necessary information before committing.
Taormina offers extraordinary venues—make sure to choose one with reliable service.

SCONSIGLIATISSIMI! La nostra esperienza è stata estremamente negativa. Nonostante un preavviso di ben 10 mesi, si sono trattenuti la caparra e hanno rivenduto la nostra data a un’altra coppia senza alcun rimborso. Durante le nostre comunicazioni ci dicevano che non c’era interesse per la nostra data, ma abbiamo poi scoperto che la dichiaravano occupata ad altri clienti. Questo atteggiamento dimostra una totale mancanza di trasparenza e rispetto verso le coppie. Inoltre, sembra che abbiano cambiato solo formalmente la società di gestione, mantenendo gli stessi dipendenti e manager, quindi nulla è realmente migliorato. Un vero peccato, perché la location è bella, ma finisce tutto lì. Non lasciatevi ingannare dall’apparenza e scegliete un posto dove professionalità e rispetto per i clienti siano al primo posto. Diffidate assolutamente!

HIGHLY DISCOURAGED! Our experience was extremely negative. Despite a 10-month notice, they kept our deposit and sold our date to another couple without any refund. During our communications, they told us there was no interest in our date, but we later discovered that they were telling other clients the date was already booked. This behavior shows a complete lack of transparency and respect for couples. Additionally, it seems they only formally changed the management company, keeping the same employees and managers, so nothing has really improved. It’s a real shame because the location is beautiful, but that’s where it ends. Don’t be fooled by appearances – choose a place where professionalism and respect for clients come first. Absolutely avoid!

I urge anyone considering Villa Mon Repos as their wedding venue to proceed with extreme caution. My wedding was booked here for July 2025, but just a few weeks ago, I received an email from the venue informing me (very candidly) that their management team had changed and that I needed to review a “new contract.” At first glance, everything seemed the same, until I noticed that the new contract required a new deposit amount to secure the venue.

This was concerning, as I had already paid a €3,000 deposit back in May of 2024. When I raised this issue, the venue stated that the change in management meant they could not honour the original deposit, and we would need to pay again to secure the venue for our date. Unfortunately, we did not receive a resolution, which left us no choice but to cancel our wedding at this venue. At this stage, our original deposit has not been refunded. As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly stressful experience. With just four months’ notice, we’ve had to find a new venue, reschedule our wedding, and coordinate over 60 guests flying in from Australia—many of whom had already booked their flights and accommodation.

I sympathise with any other couples facing similar difficulties. It is disappointing to see a wedding venue with such strong past reviews go through this kind of transition without more consideration for existing clients.

To the new management: A professional and transparent approach would have been to personally contact the affected customers via a phone call to explain the transition properly. Furthermore, you should have ensured that previously paid deposits were honored in the new contracts or an alternative resolution offered.

Quando abbiamo visitato la villa è stato amore a prima vista. Un posto incantevole con una vista mozzafiato…volevamo che il mare fosse protagonista del nostro matrimonio e da ogni angolo della villa è possibile vedere una distesa blu splendida!
Il servizio è stato impeccabili dal primo giorno dell’organizzazione fino al giorno del matrimonio. Christian e Valeria sono sempre stati super disponibili per qualsiasi problema o necessità. È raro trovare tutto ciò. Tantissimi nostri ospiti ci hanno fatto i complimenti per la villa, il cibo e il servizio!
Insomma un matrimonio che per noi sarà indimenticabile anche grazie allo staff della villa!

Absolutely amazing venue. The grounds are beautiful and they have the best event staff that I have ever worked with. We stayed for two days for my daughter’s wedding, hosting a welcome party the first night and the wedding on the second night. During the wedding dinner a severe storm rolled in as we were eating. The staff passed out umbrellas and everyone ran for the villa. It poured rain for about 15 min and then cleared. Within minutes the staff jumped into action, cleared and dried the tables and chairs, seated guests and served the ruined meal course again. Every single guest was simply amazed at the way the staff handled what could have ruined the evening. We danced and celebrated until after 1am. Words cannot express the gratitude that my family has for Villa Mon Repos and staff. It was perfect evening in spite of the rain, and the rain actually made the evening more memorable.

Rito simbolico sul prato e cena nel garden sotto un cielo stellato e il panorama di Taormina...
Una cornice unica e suggestiva che farà incantare gli ospiti.
La villa storica in stile liberty poi, si adatta perfettamente a diversi stili di matrimonio, dai più semplici ai più sofisticati.
Ogni volta che ritorno per lavoro è sempre un piacere, personale professionale e attendo ad ogni dettaglio.

I like this place, it's fantastic the view of the seaside( isola bella) during the day, evening but at night it's very dark!
The dish was good even the sweet , inside the palace was neat and even the waitresses were nice, gentle.
I think this location can be improved more even the dish, sweet .

Estuvimos dos días en Mon Repos con mi familia. El lugar es precioso. Rodeado de jardines y con una vista espectacular a l 'Isola Bella.
Ademas debo destacar la esmerada atencion de todo es staff, especialmente de Giordano y Eleonora que contribuyeron con su calidez a hacer inolvidable nuestra estadia.
