😊: Sehr freundliche Inhaberin. Wir haben uns oft und nett mit ihr unterhalten. Da wir beide nicht italienisch sprechen, fanden die Unterhaltungen in englischer Sprache statt, was absolut problemlos war. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut. Große und gepflegte Poolanlage..
😢: Ein Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer wäre nicht schlecht gewesen..

We were very impressed with everything! What a cool spot! Beatrice was so helpful and knowledgeable with everything.

We had an early departure on our last day and we asked if we could have some quick food in the morning and she made us sandwiches and provided those and a banana for us the night before😀 would highly recommend.

😊: Les installations, la gentillesse du personnel, le petit déjeuner fait maison, vous vous régalerez. les attentions de Béatrice ainsi que son équipe. Nous avons séjourné avec notre chienne, et un grand merci pour les câlins quotidiens, l’attention pour elle. Trouver un établissement qui se dit dog friendly s’est bien mais qui l’est réellement c’est vraiment une chance et nous sommes très heureux d’avoir pu séjourner dans cette villa..

Just returned from a 5 night stay. We had an amazing time in Barga and Villa Moorings is the perfect location to relax and explore the area. Beautiful 1920s art deco building retaining many original features - if you want authenticity and a friendly family atmosphere then this is the place. I can understand that some people might find the old furniture etc a bit 'quirky', but we loved the character. Breakfast was amazing, everything was kept really clean and the staff were super friendly. Thanks everyone!|(p.s. Roseanna says "ciao Anna - ci vediamo presto!")

This property is well looked after and very impressive with it's old world grandure. Because of it's age some things were worn and weren't 100% but then that is reflected in the price and makes it more quirky. Both owners couldn't do enough to help and offered suggestions when asked. Will definitely be going back as we have family living nearby. Thanks very much and will see you there soon. All the best Steve M.

Beautiful building, beautiful owner, beautiful rooms. Very kind, helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. Such a wonderful place, very central. Very welcome pool and garden! Will definitely be coming back soon. In fact I don’t want to leave!! ❤️

Durch die Einrichtung wird der Gast an den Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts zurückversetzt.
Der Pool ist sehr sauber!
In Barga gibt es tolle Restaurants und von Barga aus kann gut die Umgebung erkundet werden..

Eine wahre Perle. Eine modäne Villa mit Jugendstil-Elementen. 4 m hohe Zimmer mit Ausblick auf die Bergketten der Toskana. Ein 20 m langer, blitzblanker Pool. Das ganze ruhig gelegen mit zuvorkommender, unaufgeregter, familiärer Führung. 200 m entfernt lässt es sich durch die verwinkelten Gassen von Bargia schlendern. Ein Jammer, das dieses Paradies 1000 km von Zuhause entfernt liegt.

Die Villa, 1924 erbaut, ist in der vierten Generation, man spürt die familiäre Atmosphäre. Das Haus mit Garten und Pool ist unfassbar schön, sehr historisch und entsprechend eingerichtet. Wir wohnten im Turm und hatten eine entsprechend grandiose Aussicht. Die Familie gibt sich viel Mühe, jedoch kann man das Frühstück nicht mit den Hotelstandards gleichsetzen. Manches wird ein wenig improvisiert, dennoch war alles da. Hoffentlich kann das Haus weiter erhalten bleiben!
