Riccardo Cigno recently photographed our wedding in Positano, Italy. We had travelled all the way from New Zealand to marry in this beautiful destination and Riccardo not only managed capture the scenery amazingly, he captured more than that, he captured the heart and soul, the emotion on the day. He told a beautiful story from start to finish through his photos. Riccardo made us feel comfortable, he was clear with his vision, gave great direction and is a kind, genuine character.

Riccardo Cigno is one of the most talented photographers we have ever met. He is a true artist who captures the beauty and emotion of loving couples getting married. The photos he took of my son Ruwan and his beautiful bride Hilly in Positano, Italy were breathtakingly beautiful. He is very professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with.

We are based in New Zealand. We spent over a week researching photographers in Italy. There were plenty of good candidates but one clearly stood out from the rest. It was Riccardo Cigno. After looking at his portfolio, we decided on him straight away because his photos were not only beautiful, but also portrayed heart and soul. We are amateur photographers, and we know this is not easy!! Working with him from 18,500 km away was never a barrier.

Riccardo is also a truly wonderful and kind man. We feel we not only found the right photographer, but also a friend in Italy.

We chose Riccardo to be our wedding photographer after looking through his portfolio and his blogs. We were delighted to have been one of the lucky couples he accepted the request for. His photography was what we appreciated as a couple as he uses natural light which gives a light mood to the photos. This was the kind of setting and mood we wanted to capture on our wedding day so we really appreciated his style. As my husband is generally camera shy, we thought that a reportage style was well suited to our needs as we will also be able to enjoy our wedding day in its most natural form without spending the day retracing our steps to cater to photography. We selected a wedding package as well as an pre-wedding photo session in San Gimignano. We love this town and Riccardo was looking to photograph in that town so it worked out perfectly. During the pre-wedding photoshoot we got to understand his style and became friends. He has such a warm, encouraging and easygoing personality which helped my husband feel comfortable in front of the camera. We enjoyed the afternoon walking around various spots in Sam Gimignano we would not usually have spent time. Having this rapport with Riccardo really helped on the wedding day. We were already familiar with his style, so we were flowing through the day naturally. He also photographs seamlessly which meant we had no interruption to our wedding day. He was able to capture all the important events and moments with great attentiveness. He is very professional and his dedication is reflection of his passion. The wedding album and wooden box was an absolute work of art. The storyline of our day set out in the album was beautiful and well selected, all set in a state-of-the-art album that we will continue to cherish for years to come. Riccardo is not just our wedding photographer but also a friend whom we will continue to stay in contact with for a long time. It was an absolute honor to have him photograph our wedding.

We booked Riccardo for our destination wedding in Tuscany. Working with him was a great experience for us and our guests. He was able to capture all the feelings and emotions of the various moments in his pictures. Everytime we look at our wonderful pictures, it's like we are there again!

We worked with Ricardo for our wedding on June 06 at St. Peter's Bascillica in Rome. I can not even begin to describe how incredible this photographer is. Not only was he attentive to our every need, and adaptive to the unique demands of the Vatican, but his pictures were the most beautiful wedding photos I have ever seen. Ricardo did not simply treat us as a professional, but he treated us like an old friend, and he made the entire photography experience fun, exciting, and unforgettable. I still can not believe how beautiful our pictures came out, and he managed to get us every single shot we asked for, no matter how challenging. Believe me when I say there is not a single better option out there for your professional photography needs. I only hope my wife and I have cause to use him again in the future.

Riccardo has raw talent. We are a couple from the UK who were married in Abruzzo August 2015. As it was a destination wedding, we unfortunately had a lot of guests that weren't able to make it. Through this talent, he artistically captured the spirit and emotions of our day. We loved his "photo-journalist" approach and whilst he did beautifully classically staged shots (must haves of course), our favourites were his candid images. We look back on the photos now and are transported back to the day. We have now also been able to share these images with friends and family not there and have them feel like they didn't miss out. This was really important to us.

The fact that he also speaks fluent English, in a predominantly uni-lingual part of Italy, sealed the deal for us. I can't wait to see where he goes with his career and use his services again (for babies, families, anything we can find really!). Tanti Grazie Riccardo! We really couldn't be happier!

Lo consigliamo a chiunque abbia intenzione di sposarsi ed affidare il loro giorno più importante ad una persona che lo racconti in modo veramente esemplare.
