We stayed a few nights here but were very disappointed by the pricing. This is why we send the following message via WhatsApp and Mail after our stay, on which we didn't get any answer.

We recently stayed at your hotel and would like to share some feedback. Unfortunately, our experience was overall rather disappointing – especially considering that one night cost €420, which led us to expect a much higher level of service and comfort.
In particular, we were dissatisfied with the following points:
There was no service available at the pool.
Housekeeping did not even replace the towels on the first day.
Overall, the service and amenities did not reflect the premium price.
Given the high cost, we had anticipated a far superior experience. Instead, we felt that the value we received did not justify the rate charged.
I would appreciate it if you could clarify how this pricing is justified and whether there is any way you can offer us compensation in light of this experience.

Maybe the management will answer here - in the same way he answers to other negative reviews on this platform. Please check those as well. It's worth it and tells a lot about the management.

Anyhow. We will not come back and spend +400€ a night for a B&B.

We had a wonderful time at the Dimora, which is surrounded by typical Tuscan hills, with distant view of the sea.|The outdoor area and olive grove are lovely and just what you want from a Tuscan holiday. The swimming pool area was also very pretty.|Our room was spacious and well appointed, and our bed very comfortable.|The staff was welcoming and very friendly. Next time we will stay longer!

Die Lage und der Ausblick ist wunderschön! Toller Sonnenuntergang und herrliche Ruhe. Das Apartment mit Sauna hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Wir waren eine Woche dort und konnten gut abschalten!

Kulinarisch waren wir leider enttäuscht. Es gab jeden Morgen das Gleiche (Birnen aus der Dose fanden wir nicht angemessen) und Anspruch und Realität stimmen nicht überein. Wir wollten an zwei Abenden im Hotel essen, was uns vorab zugesichert wurde und am jeweiligen Morgen hieß es dann kurzfristig dass die Küche geschlossen sei. Es wäre gut wenn man vorab wüsste wann die Küche offen oder geschlossen ist, da man dann planen kann. Das Abendessen, das wir hatten war in Ordnung. Leider waren zwei Rotweine, die wir gerne getrunken hätten nicht verfügbar.

Sehr schade und unprofessionell, dass der Hausherr keinerlei Kritik annimmt.

Best hotel we have ever stayed at.. it is extraordinarily beautiful. The views are incredible and it has an amazing infinity pool. Very private and secluded feeling. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Die Finca und die Aussicht sind wirklich beeindruckend – eine sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage, die zum Entspannen einlädt. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig und qualitativ hochwertig.

Weniger überzeugend war leider die Verpflegung zum Mittag- und Abendessen. Einige Gerichte auf der Karte waren nicht verfügbar und mittags/nachmittags gab es lediglich Salat oder Tomate-Mozzarella. Gerade weil das Hotel recht abgelegen liegt, wären ein paar Snacks wie Sandwiches oder Eis wünschenswert.

Das Abendessen war in Ordnung, allerdings eher durchschnittlich. Während die Fleischgerichte wirklich super waren, blieben die Vorspeisen und Pastagerichte deutlich hinter den Erwartungen zurück – hier bekommt man in anderen Restaurants bessere Qualität.

Insgesamt ein wunderschöner Ort mit tollem Frühstück, bei der restlichen Küche gibt es jedoch noch Potenzial, da hätten wir für den Preis deutlich mehr erwartet.

We stayed in the beautiful Monte Cucco suite for our honeymoon and it was absolute perfection.

Every evening’s dinner was a highlight – the gnocchi were (almost!) better than my Nonna’s, and the Florentine steak was cooked to absolute perfection. The whole experience felt romantic and luxurious, from the exquisite artwork and furnishings to the stunning gardens and serene pool. The view, especially at sunset, was truly unforgettable – those deep red Tuscan skies will stay with us forever. Highly recommend to all visiting Tuscany!

This place is beautiful! Design of rooms (we stayed in Serra), pool, restaurant (indoor and outdoor) and the view over the Tuscan hills are amazing. We appreciated the good taste of everything. |If you look for a quiet place, intimate and elegant relatively close to Montalcino / Pienza, Val d’Orcia, this is the place.|The food is tasty, but there are limited choices. Nevertheless, for a 2-3 days stay, it should be fine.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer der Kategorie „Suite mit privater Veranda“ gebucht. Bei Ankunft sagte man uns wir hätten ein Upgrade bekommen und hätten nun ein größeres Zimmer. Laut Fotos auf der HP war es eine „Suite mit Garten“. Uns gefiel aber weder das Zimmer noch der „Garten“ und wir baten darum uns ein Zimmer in der gebuchten Kategorie zu geben. Man sagte uns das sei nicht möglich, da man komplett ausgebucht sei. Das bedeutet ja nun auch, dass diejenigen, die unser Zimmer eigentlich gebucht hatten, es auch nicht wollten und statt dessen unser Zimmer bekommen haben. Ich bat darum zu prüfen, ob am nächsten Tag jemand abreist und wir dann das Zimmer tauschen können. Auf erneute Nachfrage beim Abendessen, wurde mir gesagt, dass zwar jemand abreist, ein Tausch aber dennoch nicht möglich sei. Wir baten um ein Gespräch mit dem Besitzer. Der kam, war sehr unfreundlich und versuchte uns zu erklären, dass die Zimmer alle gleich seien und war total genervt. Wie kann ich denn so mit meinen Gästen umgehen, die knapp 500€ pro Nacht bezahlen und zudem nicht das bekommen haben, was gebucht wurde. Dieser Mann sollte kein Hotel führen. Er ist dafür vollkommen ungeeignet. Hinzu kommen noch viele weitere Aspekte: Der Pool hat seine besten Zeiten hinter sich, das Essen und die Getränke dort sind überteuert, die Betreiber sprechen kein Englisch (eine Angestellte übersetzt oder das Handy wird zur Hilfe genommen) und alles kostet extra. Man will sogar eine Gebühr erheben, wenn Gäste nach 18.00 Uhr anreisen. Es waren für uns sehr unschöne drei Tage und in dem Preissegment gibt es deutlich bessere Alternativen. Der Ausblick ist zwar wirklich traumhaft schön, bedeutet aber auch, dass man 20 Minuten in den nächsten Ort fahren muss, wenn man nicht das überteuerte Abendessen und er Unterkunft haben möchte. Wir sind oft in der Toskana und haben schon einige Unterkünfte gesehen. Dies war das mit Abstand schlechteste Erlebnis, das wir je hatten.

Fantastic place to stay in the Tuscan hillside with amazing views across to Cinigiano and down the valley to Grosseto and the sea in the distance. The location is wonderful, and like most Tuscan villas you have to navigate a dirt road for 2km to get there, but it's totally worth it to relax in the calm and peacefulness of the countryside. Great staff and friendly service with lovely home cooking. Oh and the sunsets are spectacular! We will definitely be back.

Wir waren im April 2024 für einige Tage zu Gast und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Auch wenn das Wetter zwischendurch regnerisch war, hat das unserer Freude keinen Abbruch getan – dank der herzlichen Gastgeber fühlten wir uns rundum wohl.
Ein kulinarisches Highlight: Bei William gibt es die besten Pappardelle mit Steinpilzen! Auch ansonsten war das Essen durchweg ausgezeichnet.
Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Lage ist wunderschön, Toskana pur. Der Fernblick ist grandios, ein Fernglas mitzunehmen empfiehlt sich, wir waren im Mai hier, daher ist alles grün und steht voll im Saft. Hier gibt es nichts auszusetzen, alle sind herzlich und für einen da, ganz dezent und zurückhaltend aber da. Toll ist die Küche, die vom Besitzer Abends zubereitet wird. Ich empfinde es eher als Einladung eine gewisse Zeit hier verbringen zu dürfen als einfach ein Hotel zu besuchen. Daher ist es eher eine Gastgeber Situation und diese darf gerne angenommen werden. Die Ausstattung ist sehr schön zusammengestellt, also auch etwas fürs Auge. Einfach entspannen, die Abgeschiedenheit genießen und glücklich sein. Viel Freude dabei

Wir waren Mitte April 1 Woche im La Dimora. Ein absoluter Traum. Diese Location ist so perfekt angelegt! Die exklusive Alleinlage, die tolle Aussicht. Wer Ruhe in luxuriöser Umgebung sucht, ist hier richtig. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeitende und der Capo am Herd verzaubern den Aufenthalt zusätzlich. Hervorragende Speisen zu sehr fairen Preisen schmecken vorzüglich. Ci siamo sentiti molto a nostro agio con voi. Grazie.

Our 4 day stay could not have been more relaxing and wonderful. The setting of this lovely estate, of 8 rooms, on top of the hills, allows uninterrupted & spectacular views from any place of the territory.||The pool area offers utmost tranquility again with breathtaking views of the rolling Tuscan - hills allowing pure enjoyment. ||Room was the size of an apartment, charmingly furnished, with a private terrace facing the sun-set-side, including outside table and sun beds. ||Adjacent to the dining area is a spectacular terrace with lounge chairs, inviting for Aperitivo’ while inhaling the stunning undisrupted countryside, which can also be enjoyed for breakfasts.||Delicious Food composed out of freshest ingredients and a good wine list can be enjoyed in a gorgeous dining room, with a generous buffet of delicious appetisers.||Beatrice, more than just a host, will make your stay extraordinary. ||If you look for a Tuscan escape in a picturesque, movie-like setting, away from noise and troubles, seek no more.||Thanks to Beatrice, William and Team for a fabulous time.

L’essenza dell’essere.
Abbiamo trascorso 5 giorni in questa magnifica dimora immersa nella Maremma toscana, dove l’unica cosa che conta è lo stupore di quanto la nostra terra sia meravigliosa. Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti da Beatrice, fantastica ragazza che ci ha mostrato la dimora e la nostra stanza. La cosa che subito ci ha colpito è stata la sua gentilezza, dolcezza e passione per questo meraviglioso posto. Poi nei giorni successivi abbiamo avuto modo di conoscerla meglio e non basterebbe un libro per scrivere di quanto questa ragazza sia eccezionale. In questo posto percepisci tutto quello di cui l’uomo ha veramente bisogno: silenzio, natura, gentilezza , raffinatezza e buon cibo. Tutta la dimora è stata curata nei minimi dettagli, nulla è lasciato al caso. I tramonti che si possono ammirare dalla piscina sono esperienze che ti fanno venire la voglia di non abbandonare più questo posto. William è un ottimo padrone di casa ed è grazie a questa sua creatura che noi possiamo godere e parlare di tanta bellezza. Insieme al suo staff: Monia, sempre molto professionale e attenta alle esigenze richieste dal cliente , insieme ai suoi figli e accompagnati da alcuni originali collaboratori rendono questo posto, un posto del cuore. We stayed last week for 2 days in the Luxury Suite. The good things were its beautiful, isolated location, a stunning view from the vanishing edge pool, and the beautiful grounds. The suite was very spacious with a private outside sitting area. The bad thing was the non-functioning air conditioning. The outside temperature was 92F, and inside it could not get cooler than 85F. The airco came repeatedly on for 10 seconds and then shut off for a minute, while the air coming out wasn't even cold. Staff kept saying to us this was normal. On top of this there is a shower in the middle of the room (with open ceiling) with no ventilation/exhaust system, which made the suite also very humid. Staff could not offer a simple fan and the place is too isolated to buy one. Other guests complained about this to us as well. So if you cannot stand heat and humidity, this place is not for you. Other than this everything is wonderful.

La struttura è splendida, immersa nella campagna toscana con una vista mozzafiato sulle colline. Il giardino e gli spazi comuni sono mantenuti in modo maniacale, un'oasi davvero curata e rilassante. La piscina è spettacolare e offre momenti piacevoli sdraiati sui lettini all'ombra delle pergole, avvolti dalla vegetazione e distanziati dagli altri ospiti, una soluzione molto gradita che offre privacy e tranquillità. Camera ampia e ben rifinita, anche se avrebbe fatto comodo un supporto per le valigie, considerando l'armadio di dimensioni contenute in rapporto alle dimensioni e al prestigio della camera. Colazione abbondante e variegata servita in terrazza, così come la cena di buona qualità. Non apprezziamo il fatto che il pranzo sia servito in contenitori di cartone e posate in legno in confezioni monouso con tovagliolino, come un takeaway in una pausa pranzo di lavoro in città, con obbligo a pagare un supplemento per la consegna o in piscina o in camera, uniche opzioni disponibili: non sarebbe male, come già era nel passato, poter consumare ai tavoli del ristorante con piatti e posate. Peccato che durante la permanenza di 5 giorni non siano stati sostituiti i teli per i lettini in piscina peccato che aver lasciato sul pavimento del bagno un asciugamano perché pieno di formiche (ci sta, siamo in campagna) non sia bastato per farlo sostituire (è stato semplicemente ripiegato e messo nel mobile lavandino). In generale non ci convince la gestione di una struttura che ambisce ad essere di lusso, e che ci riesce nei prezzi non trascurabili a cui vengono vendute le camere. Stonano piccole economie, come il pane surgelato che bisogna prendere al buffet, il costo del coperto della cena servita direttamente sul piano in pietra (bello) del tavolo, scelte legittime ma non consone al posizionamento. Encomiabile lo sforzo del personale, tra tutti Monia, sempre cortese, che fa del proprio meglio per soddisfare il cliente. Spiacevole che per il pagamento del conto con carta di credito o bancomat venga richiesto di pagare i costi di transazione. Dopo aver protestato, facendo notare che questa pratica è deprecata, l’importo ci è stato restituito. In sintesi un posto oggettivamente molto bello ma che purtroppo non raggiunge del tutto le aspettative.

La posizione e la struttura: incantevoli.
Un giudizio dello stesso tenore non può essere espresso sul servizio offerto, in rapporto al prezzo richiesto per il soggiorno e gli altri servizi.
Un costo di € 450/ notte esclusivamente per il pernottamento e colazione (26-28 luglio 2024) , cui devono sommarsi i costi per ogni altra comodità non inclusa (dal servizio al tavolo per il pranzo, al servizio in piscina), non giustificano affatto la tipologia di servizio che viene offerto.

All’arrivo nessun membro dello staff provvede ad accogliere i clienti: questi, dal parcheggio, devono percorrere un tratto di sterrato/strada bianca con la valigia.Lo stesso dicasi per la partenza.
Sebbene il numero delle camere e degli ospiti non sia elevato, la presenza di una sola persona che si occupi contemporaneamente della accoglienza e del servizio ai tavoli per la colazione il pranzo (anzi, light lunch!!!) e cena, è francamente inaccettabile. Non si trova una simile organizzazione neppure nelle pensioni a conduzione familiare, con tutto il rispetto per queste strutture ricettive.

La colazione è ricca e abbondante sia per quanto riguarda il “dolce” che il “salato”. Il servizio purtroppo è lento: anche solo avere l’ acqua calda per il tè richiede una lunga attesa, tanto che si rischia di arrivare a metà pasto senza alcunché per accompagnare i cibi solidi.

Quello che viene definito un light lunch ( prosciutto e melone, insalatone o caprese, servito in piccolissime scodelle di cartone ed inizialmente con posate di plastica) è qualcosa che, per la quantità, al massimo può essere qualificato come “snack”; per un costo esorbitante di 16.50 euro a pietanza, bevande escluse.
La piscina, a sfioro sulla vallata, è molto suggestiva, è dotata di gazebo e lettini.
Dopo il light lunch, nel corso di un caldo pomeriggio estivo è stato possibile per noi reperire l’unico membro dello staff, cui chiedere qualcosa da bere e da mangiare, solo dopo le 17.

La cena prevede, oltre ad un buffet composto da verdure, insalata e crostini, la scelta tra 4/5 primi ed altrettanti secondi.
Ebbene, durante le due cene nel corso del nostro soggiorno, il buffet non veniva riassortito di ciò che mancava perché consumato dagli altri ospiti e, nel corso di entrambe le serate, alcune delle pietanze ( una per tutte, la pappa al pomodoro) previste nel menu, o non erano presenti o, se disponibili, soltanto nella misura di una porzione; le alternative proposte, ad esempio le tagliatelle ai funghi, in entrambe le cene erano poco cotte.
Il servizio e le modalità di presa della comanda sono discutibili. Occorre prima attendere che l’unica addetta venga a prendere l’ordine per poter accedere al buffet. Una volta ordinato, il tempo di arrivo del vino, considerando che i tavoli sono soltanto 5, è francamente troppo lungo. Il tutto tralasciando un consistente ricarico sul costo delle bevande.

Da ultimo, l’addebito di €13.50 (!!!) quali spese per pagamento elettronico, espressamente vietato dal Codice del Consumo.
