Without a doubt, the best choice we made for our Italian wedding was hiring Laura. We worked with Laura for about a year to plan our Sept 2025 celebration, and we quite literally could not have done it without her. Usually, when you read that, it sounds like hyperbole. But we really mean it. Our wedding was not possible without her.

Laura became a trusted partner for every aspect of the wedding. She had great vendor recommendations, excellent coordination, and stayed on top of every moving part as our day got closer.

We also had so much fun on every call with her. She’s energetic, creative, and low-key hilarious. By the end of our time together, it almost felt wrong that we wouldn’t be checking in anymore. You go back and forth so frequently and in such detail that it didn’t feel like working with a planner at all. We miss you already!

Even through zillions of emails, Laura kept us on track and organized. She kept a master Canva that left no detail undocumented and spreadsheets that tracked every euro we owed to vendors. For every question, Laura had the answer.

We also had the opportunity to visit Florence 6 months before our wedding to do a site inspection and tasting. Laura shuttled us (plus my parents) around to each visit and we had the best time. Even months out, Laura was going above and beyond for us.

The day could not have turned out better. It rained earlier in the day, but Laura was calm and assured us it would clear up and be beautiful. And she was right. The sun came out and everything was perfect. When we arrived for the ceremony, the setup was exactly as we imagined. Everything ran so smoothly and we know it’s all due to Laura’s flawless coordination.

Our guests told us over and over, “This is the best wedding we’ve ever been to,” or “This is the best party we’ve ever been to.” Or even better, “This wedding looks straight out of a bridal magazine.” We’ve been to many weddings in the past and we’ve never heard responses like this to anyone else's. When people said it was beautiful, they meant it.

This was all due to Laura’s tightly buttoned-up plan of attack. She starts with an empty digital binder with almost 100 pages and slowly, you work together to fill in the missing questions with answers. Then she connects all the dots. This process takes months to work toward but by the end, the day flows so smoothly, you forget there was ever a person behind the scenes pulling all the levers, talking to all of the vendors, making the event run on time, and preventing disasters. It was perhaps the most stress-free party we’ve ever attended. Notice how we said ‘we’ve ever attended.’ That’s because our wedding day felt like a party we got to enjoy, not an event that we had to manage.

I just finished up a wedding (May of 2025) in a venue outside of Florence, and it turned out to be absolutely beautiful! It was a straight-up fairytale come to life, the perfect manifestation of my wildest dreams. It was a lovely memory I will cherish always, and I credit Laura and all of her hard work for the way the day turned out.

There are about a million reasons I could give you for why you should hire Laura and a whole host of stories I could tell you about how she made my wedding the best it could possibly be, but google has a word limit, so heres just a few.

She Is Organized
If there is something in a wedding to plan, Laura has an Excel spreadsheet, a three-part plan, and a backup in case all else fails already prepared for it. One of my favorite things she offers is a 60-page planning template, which we filled out together, that became a sort of master key for the whole entire wedding. It included mood boards, color pallets, budget sheets, charts and graphs, detailed timelines, vendor contacts, and every other conceivable detail that goes into a pitch-perfect wedding.

She Works Hard
From the beginning to the very end, Laura was there, working hard and diligently as if mine was the only wedding she was planning (it wasn’t). A few examples to give you an idea of what I mean when I say hard working… I hired Laura on a Friday afternoon, and on Monday morning, she was out at the venue recording a walk-through and talking about ideas for the ceremony. When we visited, she spent a whole day driving us around to meet our vendors and showing us around the city. A month before the wedding, we spent almost 10 hours going over all the last details until there was not one question left. On the wedding day, she was the last to leave and did not go home until the last candle was packed away and every other vendor was long gone.

She Responds Quickly and Consistently
Throughout the course of planning, Laura and I communicated on almost a daily basis, sometimes via email, sometimes via WhatsApp, and sometimes (for the really tough stuff) over Google Hangouts. She was always very quick to respond and never took longer than a day or two to get back to me.

She Received Deliveries and Stored My Stuff
Laura saved me loads of money in shipping costs and costs generally by allowing me to have things delivered to her and by storing those things safely until the wedding day.

She Knows Her Stuff

Laura helped my son and new daughter-in-law create the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever attended. She worked tirelessly with them before the wedding day to design a meaningful, deeply personal ceremony. I think Laura became a friend as well as a wedding planner as she worked to make their day unique to them.

There were so many calls and meetings from the States to arrange for the best photographers and videographers, best officiant, best florists, the best beauticians for the bride and her guests, and the best musicians available in the Tuscany area. I don’t know how she had time for any other clients, but I am certain all her clients get this level of attention.

An Unforgettable Experience – Laura Made Our Dream Wedding a Reality

If you’re considering Laura as your wedding planner, stop thinking and just book her. She was, without a doubt, the best decision we made during our wedding planning journey. Warm, kind, endlessly helpful, and incredibly dedicated—Laura made our wedding experience stress-free and joyful.

We found Laura through a recommendation from our venue. We interviewed three wedding planners and exchanged emails with around 10 others to request packages. As Americans getting married in Italy, it was essential for us to work with a local planner who spoke Italian and had strong connections with the best local vendors. From our very first video call, we fell in love with Laura’s personality. She was friendly, approachable, and so easy to laugh with. I knew I needed someone supportive, especially since I lost my mom many years ago and wouldn’t have her by my side. My husband was incredibly supportive, too, but given his busy schedule, much of the planning would fall on me. I’m so thankful I had Laura for this journey.

In February, we flew to Florence to meet with vendors, have a tasting, and tour the venue in person. Laura spent two full days driving us around to take care of everything, and it was an absolute blast. It felt like spending time with a dear friend rather than running wedding errands. She made the experience fun, seamless, and truly memorable.

Once the planning was in full swing, Laura’s organization and attention to detail were exceptional. We would describe our vision, and she’d go out, handpick a collection of vendors, and gather their proposals into a beautifully organized presentation. We’d meet with two or three finalists on video calls, and Laura took care of scheduling and coordinating everything. She helped us find top-notch vendors who fit within our budget, and we couldn’t have been happier with the team she assembled.

We decided to have Laura plan our entire wedding weekend, including a welcome dinner, the wedding day, and a day-after BBQ for our 56 guests. Laura was present at every event, making sure everything ran perfectly. By the end of the weekend, all of our guests—and even our families—had fallen in love with her. She was such a big part of our celebration that when she left on the final day, everyone gathered by the pool and spontaneously clapped and cheered for her. It was a truly heartwarming moment and a testament to how much she meant to all of us.

Laura consistently went above and beyond. Her husband even helped us by accepting packages we shipped from the U.S. ahead of the wedding. She wasn’t afraid to advocate for us when issues arose, like when we had a problem with extra lighting at the venue. Communication with her was seamless—we had a group chat with Laura, my husband, and me, along with email updates for the important details. She shared all our contracts and proposals in a Google Drive and created beautiful planning documents. I’m a very organized person, but these documents would be invaluable for any bride, organized or not.

We truly couldn’t have done this without Laura. We’re based in New York City and have already invited her to visit us—that’s how much we care for her and enjoy her company. She is worth every penny (and probably charges less than she should for the amount of work she does). Nachdem wir uns für Laura entschieden haben, hat Laura intensiv mit der Suche nach einer Location für uns angefangen. Da wir nicht selbst Vorort sein konnten, ist Laura zur gewünschten Location gefahren und hat die Location für uns besichtigt und uns per Video call dazu geschaltet. Wir konnten Laura und ihrer Experten Meinung zu 100% vertrauen worauf hin wir die Unterkunft gebucht haben, ohne vorher Vorort gewesen zu sein. Laura wusste genau was wir wollen.
Nach der Unterkunft ging es in die Detail Planung. Auch hier hatte Laura einen genauen Plan und ist Schritt für Schritt mit uns vorgegangen. Wir haben passend zu jedem Thema, Catering, Blumen, Fotograf… eine Auswahl an Dienstleistern zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen, was für uns die Entscheidung leicht gemacht hat.

Laura war immer erreichbar sowohl per E-Mail als auch per Telefon. Sie hat Termine mit den einzelnen Dienstleistern organisiert und hat uns als Übersetzerin unterstützt und den ein oder anderen Rabatt für uns verhandelt.
