We arrived quite late in the evening, and the villa was hosting an event for more than 200 guests — the parking area was completely full. Fortunately, we met a kind member of the staff who guided us to the very last available space inside. That was the first sign of the exceptional service to come.

Dinner was pure excellence — truly unforgettable. Every course was beautifully presented and tasted divine.

Our Junior Suite was both elegant and comfortable, with a perfectly designed bathroom. The only improvement we could suggest would be to have the toilet and bathroom divided into two separate rooms for added comfort.

Breakfast the next morning was another highlight: an extraordinary selection of dishes, fresh pastries, and local delicacies — all enjoyed with one of the most breathtaking views over the Tuscan landscape.

In the morning, we had the pleasure of meeting the chef, who kindly showed us around the property — a wonderful gesture that made our stay even more memorable.

We will certainly return for a few days next time. This is exactly the kind of place where one wishes to stay longer than just a night.

The only small inconvenience was the number of mosquitoes inside the room — but, of course, that’s hardly the property’s fault and quite expected in Tuscany at this time of year.

We had the best time at Villa Dianella! There were so many great activities to do around the villa and the staff are the friendliest! It’s the best place to relax and enjoy amazing food. The views are spectacular. Thank you Villa Dianella we will see you again!

The rooms were beautiful. We booked far in advance and unfortunately got the room on the corner facing the function room and driveway. The rooms have oversized windows so we had to have the blinds down most of the time. The rooms were comfortable and well decorated. The bathroom was beautiful but mirrors were not over the sink so my husband had difficulty shaving. The mirrors are fixed to the wooden vanity.
The hotel appeared understaffed. The restaurant served delicious food and the service was great. Breakfast was great but there were fruit flies all over the breakfast buffet. The mosquitos were so bad we could not enjoy the outside sitting areas. Pool looked amazing.
The location is just outside of Florence. There isn’t much to do at night in the area and villa Dianella does not have any entertainment or anything to do in the evening. It’s very quiet.
The wine is delicous. The wine tour was average at best but interesting. We had 3 other wine tour experiences in Tuscany so we had those to compare with.
Overall we enjoyed our experience but would probably not go back.

I stayed here as part of a wedding party, and it was a wonderful experience. The villa captures the essence of Tuscany perfectly — from the beautifully detailed rooms to the breathtaking views. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and deeply satisfying. The staff were warm, kind, and accommodating, making us feel so well cared for. I would love to return and experience it all again.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt auf dem Weingut. Die Villa überzeugt mir großen Räumen, viel Stil und modernen Annehmlichkeiten. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und auch der Frühstücksservice sehr angenehm.

Da es sehr heiß war, haben wir den Pool und den großen Garten insbesondere mit Hund nutzen dürfen. Es ist ein absoluter Genuss, dass man hier nicht nur mit Hund anreisen darf, sondern sich auch in den Räumen, dem Restaurant und auf dem Gelände aufhalten darf.

Da es nur 12 Zimmer gibt fühlt es sich jederzeit sehr persönlich an und man findet immer einen ruhigen Platz auf dem Gelände. Die Umgebung ist auch kulinarisch sehr zu empfehlen und die Ausflüge nach Vinci oder San Miniato sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Restaurant haben wir zum Mittagessen ebenso besucht und waren begeistert. Preis-Leistung stimmt!

Die Weine von Dianella sind sehr, sehr gut. Insbesondere der Vermentino hat uns geschmeckt und es wanderten auch ein paar Flaschen aus dem Shop in den Kofferraum.

Tagsüber hat es sich in der Ferragosto-Woche und vielleicht auch auf Grund der großen Hitze etwas verlassen angefühlt. Der Service war nicht direkt greifbar.

Auch wäre es bei dieser Preis-Kategorie angenehm, wenn man auf dem Zimmer eine Falsche Wasser finden würde und möglicherweise ein kleiner Willkommengruß mit Blumen oder kleinem Gebäck der Region.

Un avis mitigé ! Le lieu est magnifique. Superbe villa au milieu d un très beau jardin.|Quelques remarques : l accueil est très moyen certainement pas à la hauteur d un établissement de ce niveau. Pour la chambre on peut déplorer l absence d un frigo certes il y a une cave à vin (business oblige)!|Une climatisation bruyante dans la chambre /pas de climatisation dans la salle de bain et un vrai jeu de piste pour trouver une prise de courant qui fonctionne. Ampoules HS bref certainement pas au niveau qu ils prétendent ! |Pour le reste le restaurant est très bien/ très bonne cuisine/vins excellents/ service très pro et agréable. |Petit déjeuner excellent !

We spent 3 nights at Villa Dianella and absolutely loved it. The place has this magical, slightly mysterious and nostalgic feeling, you can really sense its 16th century Medici villa history, but everything is elegant, well-kept, and comfortable.

The surroundings are stunning, whether you're having breakfast, tasting wine, or just relaxing by the pool, it all feels like being on a Bridgerton movie set.

We were lucky to meet the owners, who both were kind, welcoming, and really helpful.
A big thank you to Alessia, who made us feel right at home with her always friendly and professional attitude, and helped with anything we needed: wine tasting, showed us around the estate, travel tips.

Just back from a fantastic stay at Villa Dianella.. We were there for five nights but would have been happy to have stayed a fortnight. The hotel itself is gorgeous, beautifully styled all in keeping with its history as a Medici family hunting lodge. There is a lovely pool to help keep cool on hotter days. We also loved eating at the restaurant which is small enough to feel intimate though with expansive views across the vines and the valley. The wines themselves are exceptional - a complex but easy-drinking rose; fresh, acidic vermentino and full bodied reds that are so typical of the area. Lastly, a big shout out to the staff, including Manuel in the restaurant and Arsenio who took great pride in the huge plate of gluten free bread he delivered me every breakfast.||Would go back every year if we could.

Estuvimos en Dianella en marzo y fuimos sólo una noche ya que queríamos vivir la experiencia de poder alojarnos en una bodega con los viñedos de paisaje, y elegimos este lugar porque nos pareció hermosa la casona. Realmente no nos equivocamos, el lugar es increíblemente hermoso y lleno de paz. Reservamos una cata que incluye un paseo por las instalaciones con la explicación de cómo realizan ahí el vino y un almuerzo con maridaje que fue increíble. Todos nos atendieron muy bien. Dato a considerar ya que nosotros cuando llegamos no sabíamos, no hay una cocina abierta todo el día como en un hotel, por lo que a la noche nos tuvimos que ir el centro de Vinci a un restaurante y cuando volvimos estaba todo apagado y cerrado, te dan las llaves de toda l casa pero nos asustamos un poco ya que no había nadie más que nosotros. Igualmente la experiencia fue estupenda.

Hemos pasado unos días espectaculares en esta villa, muy confortable y familiar, con una rica historia, ya que era un pabellón de caza de la familia Medici. Muy recomendable, un sitio tranquilo, cercano a los sitios principales en la Toscana.
