This is an enchanting villa with history and recent renovations for ease and comfort, set in the most splendid Tuscan countryside. The surrounding vineyards supply the wine, and the olive trees the oil, served with the gourmet dinners. Frederica and John are the nicest and most hospitable couple who will insure your stay is perfect.

Wir haben bei Federica und John unsere Sommerferien verbracht. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gut gepflegt und ist schlicht weg eine Einladung in die Toskana.
Die Unterkunft entsprach zu 100% der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Sie war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das große Highlight war der 20m Pool und die vielen Angebote für die ganze Familie, wie zum Beispiel die Tischtennisplatte, der Kicker, ein Volleyballnetz und auch ein Bolzplatz mit Toren zum Fußball spielen.
Abseits der tollen Anlage waren Federica und John bezaubernde Gastgeber. Direkt bei der Ankunft wurde uns verraten wo in der näheren Umgebung gute Lokale zu finden sind und welche Tages Trips man machen kann.
Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit und bis zum nächsten Mal.

We had a wonderful holiday at Antico Borgo La Torre. The beautiful estate is breathtakingly beautiful with a fantastic, well-maintained pool. The apartment was also lovely, spacious, tastefully decorated, and clean.
We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the hospitality. The atmosphere on the estate is friendly. Federica, John, and their children are exceptionally helpful and create a pleasant holiday atmosphere. We also enjoyed delicious wine from the estate and enjoyed pizza evening with the other guests.

We will definitely be back!

Purtroppo gli appuntamenti vengono consegnati freddi e dopo tre notti l'appartamento era ancora freddo nonostante il riscaldamento sempre acceso. Non c'è la pompa di calore ad aria calda solo radiatori che non riscaldano a sufficienza e non aciugano l'appartamento dall' umidità: noi eravamo al primo piano non oso pensare quelli a piani terra. Come scuse ti presentano il conto del riscaldamento da pagare a parte alla modica cifra di 2,50 euro a metro cubo. Nel ns caso 80 euro per stare al freddo. Mai più. P.S. problema sollevato anche da altri ospiti di altri appartamenti prima di noi..riflettete..

😢: Quand nous sommes arrivés, la maison n'avait pas été chauffée depuis un moment. le chauffage au gaz étant en supplément, nous avons du chauffer très fort pour passer de 14° à 19°... d'où une note très salée au final !.

Un posticino perfetto per rilassarsi tra le colline toscane. Noi avevamo prenotato l'appartamento "Viola", decisamente confortevole e bello fresco anche nel caldo estivo. Piscina perfetta per nuotare e con temperatura ottimale, a pochi passi dal nostro appartamento. Natura, laghetto e vini di loro produzione. Ci è piaciuto.

😊: Es ist ein historisches familiäres Weingut, was liebevoll renoviert wurde, so dass man eine schöne Ferienwohnung hat.
Federica und John sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Eine Unterstellmöglichkeit für unsere Rennräder wurde z.B. schnell gefunden. Genauso gab John uns eine Führung über sein kleines Weingut.
Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, man kann von da aus gut Wanderungen und Rennradtouren unternehmen. Man konnte von dort aus sowohl nach Florenz, als auch in die historischen Chianti Dörfer mit dem Auto gelangen..

Diese Unterkunft ist einfach unglaublich! Ein riesengroßes Gelände, tolle Unterbringung, unsagbar freundliche Gastgeber:in und unzählige Möglichkeiten in der Umgebung und vor Ort, um einen entspannten Urlaub zu verbringen.
Hinzu kommt der köstliche Wein, der vor Ort angebaut wird.
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Insieme ad un gruppo numeroso di amici (34), abbiamo deciso di affittare l'intera struttura composta da 9 appartamenti e si è rivelata un'ottima scelta. Il podere si trova immerso nella natura. Peccato che, avendo soggiornato a fine aprile, la piscina non fosse ancora agibile, ma abbiamo davvero sfruttato tutti gli altri servizi offerti. Ci dispiace solo aver disturbato la quiete del posto, e del vicinato, ma ci resterà per sempre il ricordo di aver passato davvero delle bellissime giornate e serate presso l'antico borgo la torre. La disponibilità, comprensione e gentilezza di Federica sono davvero enormi. Abbiamo avuto anche la possibilità di visitare le cantine ed acquistare dell'ottimo vino ed olio di produzione propria. L'unico appunto è che, per alcuni appartamenti, sarebbe stato carino che fossero stati un pochino riscaldati prima del nostro arrivo. Abbiamo comunque risolto richiedendo l'accensione delle caldaie e pagando la quota di riscaldamento a parte. Consiglio vivamente.

Beautiful and calming spot outside of Florence. Our apartment was cozy and small but had what we need to spend a good time. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. They gave us a tour in the wine production before a really delicious wine tasting.

The kitchen could be better equipped, but since we had food provided by the retreat, we didn’t need to cook.

I definitely recommend coming here to spend a relaxing time.

Cercavamo un posto per rilassarci e la struttura si è rivelata il luogo perfetto per noi. Bella, ben curata e pulita, ci ha fatto trascorrere 9 giorni da favola fuori dal mondo.
Ottimo punto di appoggio per visitare le principali città d'arte della zona.
I proprietari sono gentili e disponibili.
Anche il nostro cane si è divertito tantissimo.

Location da sogno per un matrimonio da favola. Delizioso e caratteristico borghetto immerso nel cuore della campagna toscana. It's been a pleasure to us to stay in Antico Borgo La Torre during our Toskany Trip. The place is very nice, perfect swimming pool (with gradual depth what is important for children in different age) but the most extraordinary are the friendly hosts who always make sure that the guests are feeling very well during the visit. For sure I can clearly recommend the place and will come back there again.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus war ansprechend eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet, es waren nur ein bisschen zu wenige Teller da. Der Pool ist wirklich toll und oft stand er uns alleine zur Verfügung. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und zurückhaltend. ||Das einzig negative waren die vielen vielen Mücken. Und die Gartenstühle sind ein wenig unbequem. Am besten ein paar Sitzkissen mitnehmen.

Das Antico Borgo La Torre Agriturismo ist definitiv etwas für jemanden, der es ruhig und erholsam mag. Abseits vom Dorf mitten in den Feldern und den Weinbergen in sehr ruhiger Lage gelegen. Die ganze Anlage/das Landgut ist sehr malerisch, extrem gut gepflegt und bietet Erholung und toskanischen Flair pur. Der Pools ist toll und gut gepflegt.||Die Besitzerin Lucia ist sehr hilfsbereit und spricht (wichtig, da wir null italienisch sprechen) gut englisch.||Das Appartement: sehr groß (2 Schlafzimmer, Küche mit Esstisch, riesiges Wohnzimmer und 2 Bäder), perfekt gereinigt, klasse ausgestattet - was will man mehr. Die beiden Bäder waren gerade mal ein Jahr renoviert, top!||Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!

Alles in allem war der Urlaub im Antico Borgo La Torre sehr schön. Wir sind mit kleinem Kind (10 Monate) gereist und da hat man einen anderen Blick auf die Dinge in einer Unterkunft und die Umgebung. |Generell war unsere Unterkunft aber sehr schön (Appartment Viola) mit einem großen Wohnzimmer und offener Küche, sowie seperatem Schlafraum und Abstellkammer. |Die Außenanlage ist sehr schön angelegt und wird ständig gepflegt. Es gibt einen Pizzaofen, eine große Wiese, eine weitere als Fußballplatz umgebaute Wiese, einen See mit großen Karpfen (Angeln auf Anfrage möglich, aber Catch & Release) auf dem man auch per Ruderboot paddeln kann, sowie einen Pool, der jedoch im Mai noch nicht geöffnet hatte. WIFI war sogar auch vorhanden, jedoch nur am Hauptplatz des Geländes und extrem langsam bis teilweise so langsam, dass man kein 4MB Foto verschicken konnte. Aber besser als gar kein Netz.|Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und immer für uns da. |Babybett wurde uns zur Verfügung gestellt.||Einzige Mängel waren die alten Töpfe, die mal erneuert werden könnten, ebenso sollten die Messer geschärft werden und vor allem der rostige Wäscheständer sollte entsorgt und ausgetauscht werden. Außerdem war das Sofa extrem durchgesessen. ||Fazit: Service 5+ Punkte, Gelände 5 Punkte, Preis 5 Punkte, Ausstattung Appartment 3 Punkte.

My first trip to Europe and we were lucky enough to come across an ad for this place and even luckier to be able to book an apartment at only a few days notice. Our accommodation, a 1 bedroom apartment, named Rita was beautifully renovated from a building several hundred years old, in the middle of a small Chianti Vineyard and Winery. A great kitchen with a washing machine was wonderful for travelers who had been staying in hotels. We were close enough to do a day trip to beautiful Sienna and the next day we took the train from Figline Valdarno to Florence for the day. Our Hosts were wonderful and helped us with information about trains and the best places to go for shopping and restaurants. I was thrilled to be able to watch the Chianti grapes being crushed and to be shown the cellar and get to taste the wine straight from the vat. We were able to buy their delicious wines and olive oil very cheaply, Yum!! We bought 3 bottles home to Australia with us and wish we had been able to bring a lot more. The beautiful Tuscan countryside helped to make it one of the highlights of our 7 weeks away. Hope to go back one day!!

Bellissimo borgo, egregiamente ristrutturato, a pochi minuti da Firenze. L'appartamento, dove abbiamo soggiornato in 7, molto grande e spazioso. Stupendo l'enorme camino nel salone! Tutta la famiglia entusiasta. Ci torneremo di sicuro x visitare ancora un po' di toscana.
