Purtroppo do una stella perché l'esperienza è stata pessima.

Bellissima struttura, ben curata e ben mantenuta. Personale gentile e disponibile, ottima piscina ben organizzata con lettini e ombrelloni. Ricovero auto riparato dal sole, silenzio e quiete. Consigliato!

Cucina perfetta.

A piece of heaven in the hills of Tuscany. I had never heard of a Green Michelin star restaurant until I stepped into this property. What a beautiful property! From the wines, cocktails and amazing meal curated by the chef I was blown away. In three months span I was able to dine here twice. How lucky am I? This place is magical. There is also a hotel attached. I’m sure it’s a great place to stay too.

We had the "sustainable gastronomy" menu, with wine pairing for me but not for my pregnant wife. The staff and chefs were very accommodating and quickly adapted the menu to suit my wife. The food and service were immaculate. Beautiful dishes, they felt modern yet rustic. The wine pairing was impressive, professional and friendly sommelier. We stayed in the room verde natura. Lovely decorations and much effort in the details. Breakfast was also delicious, although a bit heavy on the gluten. Bread and pastry lovers will surely enjoy it. Would definitely recommend this place! Grazie mille

Dinning here was a fantastic experience. We had a beautiful and spacious table with a gorgeous view. The ambiance and personality of the place was inviting. You have a great mixture of family and home paired with a fine dining experience. It is conducive both to romance and those that are just friends or family. We were a group of three adult family members.||||Our waiter was very welcoming and was extremely helpful. He has a way of explaining food and drink that makes sense and with a language barrier that’s true talent. He had even personally translated the menu into English for us. We did arrive earlier on the afternoon and booked a reservation for dinner and that was how he knew we were English speaking. ||||This place may not be the easiest place to find by chance but if look there are many signs around the town that will lead you to it. ||||The food here really was very fresh and dining was like a taste of culture. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu both the dishes and drinks themselves but also the source of the products such as the grapes for a Tuscany wine compared to French wine, the deer from the forest next door, vegetables from their own garden and even the history of a dish and how they have made it their own. ||||They are a new place and they seem to be thriving. They told us they have even begun the process of making their own wine!!||||We stayed at a farmhouse about 20 minutes from this restaurant and next time we come to Tuscany we will plan to stay here instead because their rooms sound wonderful. ||||Our food was a wide array of things from onion marmalade on cheese, the most amazing bread baked in house, Tomato Pappa (a family recipe), goats milk on grilled vegetables from their garden, multiple types of pasta dishes and steak. It was a real treat.

This place is amazing. The staff is 5 stars. We had the worst time traveling from London to Italy for a family wedding. The trains in London were all canceled, and what should have been a 6 hour trip, turned into a 13 hour nightmare. We left London at 7:45 AM and finally arrived at Tenuta Le Tre Virtu at 9:00 PM. We were annoyed and aggravated. Immediately, we were greeted by Lorenzo. He and the staff immediately turned our nightmare around. They could not have been more friendly, or helpful. We settled in our room and came down for the 1st of several amazing dinners. From that moment on, the entire stay at Le Tre Virtu was nothing short of spectacular. ||||We cannot recommend this place enough. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere are incredible, and I challenge anyone not to fall in love with this place. ||||Lorenzo, Valentina, and the entire rest of the crew there have found a small piece of heaven right here on Earth. We shall definitely return.

We just spent 10 days at Le Tre Virtu with family and friends as a base for our wedding in Certaldo. If you want the short version:||Setting - perfect - 360 degree views, total peace and quiet, just idyllic.||Rooms - Tuscan charm with modern convenience where you want it but never at the expense of style or authenticity.||Location - Just 40 minutes driving from the Ponte Vecchio (we parked at Anglo American garage literally 100m from the bridge). Several beautiful and typical Tuscan towns within 15 minutes. ||Food - absolutely sensational. I have lived in Italy and traveled there over 30 times and only a handful of places, mostly in Sicily, matched the consistent level of sublime deliciousness we enjoyed at Le Tre Virtu.||Staff - Above and beyond. Consistently surprised us with gifts from their kitchen garden or fruit trees, wines or digestifs to try and always someone on hand to attend to you whatever the need.||Facilities - Beautiful infinity pool with views over the hills. A fabulous hang out space with massive sun umbrellas, an outside bar and a tuscan style barbecue on which they prepared stunning bistecca Fiorentina for us. ||Wedding Chapel - it's tiny but lovely and IF ONLY we had not booked our wedding elsewhere prior to booking accommodation, we would have loved being married on site. ||Wedding reception - This we did have at Le Tre Virtu and it was sensational. Food, wine, atmosphere, setting, all just perfect.||||If you want to know more...||||Since we enjoyed an extended stay, we got to know a lot about Le Tre Virtu and the great team that runs it. ||||What we enjoyed this August has been a labour of love over 5 years by owners Valentina and Christian. Every detail has been considered but most importantly of all, the renovation was done with meticulous attention to Tuscan authenticity. The main building dates back centuries, with even a link to the Medici family, but what impressed us most was that the new buildings had been constructed using many period materials such as beautiful ancient wooden beams salvaged from the surrounding areas monasteries, farms and palazzos.||||We used all of the rooms for our guests and I would say that the favourites were probably Luce del Cielo, Lavanda and the Suite, but all were absolutely lovely and each one has its own identity and style. Tuscan products were provided for the bathrooms which were a huge feature of each room with spacious showers and designer sinks, again artfully coordinated to work with the Tuscan style.||||The outside spaces are thoughtfully arranged and in three distinct areas such that kids splashing in the pool don't disturb those who prefer to relax with a book by the wedding chapel with views across the valley to Scarperia. The third area is the outside bar which is shaded and set on the brow of the hill so you have views in every direction. There are high top tables and chairs and it is wonderful for an evening aperitif and a game of cards or the like. ||||Chef George at Le Tre Virtu combined the freshest ingredients from their kitchen garden into dishes that were both innovative and delicious. His breakfast buffet featured home made breads, cakes, pastries and fabulous fruit tarts. The juices such as myrtleberry and blackberry must have been made within hours so freshly they tasted. We enjoyed using the brand new Italian cafe style coffee machine, doing our best Barista work every morning. ||||Lunches were either out and about or else we bought ingredients from the estate such as more of his fresh bread and combined with the local oil, tomatoes and basil from the garden. ||||For dinners we had the full range. His 'simple' dinners consisted of a 'taste' of Tuscany such as a morsel of local cheese topped with a fragolino and its coulis, followed by an antipasto such as a phenomenal creation that came presented in a beautiful cellophane bag containing cabbage, egg plant, tomato, porcini and scamorza that when you opened it hit the nose with promises of veggie heaven and the flavour was truly the most delicious I have ever enjoyed that didn't involve meat or fish. Next up would be freshly made pasta. We enjoyed pappardelle, cannelloni and agnolotti, all with interesting sauces that were familiar as Tuscan classics but had George's own twist. Gelato or fruits from the garden were usually offered as a little extra to finish the meal, even when we had not requested a dolce. Remember all this was the 'simple' everyday menu that we enjoyed at a price you would not have found in local restaurants of anywhere near this quality. For our wedding dinner we had multiple courses of his creation that are now a blur, but I do remember the absolutely perfect bistecca fiorentina! ||||George is a real artist and Valentina and Christian searched for over a year to find him and their effort has been well worth it. He is also a lovely guy and catered to the various kids in the group with special breakfast items, regular tastes and explanations of things from the garden or orchard and popping up with gelato just at the right times! ||||One of our few regrets (along with not being married on site) was that we didnt manage to find the time to take advantage of a couple of great activities that are available. There is a hiking route that runs along one side of the estate and a couple of times a day you would see people walking through the fields or riding horses which with stables nearby was an option we were offered. The gravel road leading to the estate is flanked by woods that are filled with both porcini and truffles. For just EUR 10 pp you can buy a permit and after instruction from a guardian you can forage for these delicious funghi on your own. If you want to take a truffle hunt with dogs and their owner that costs a bit more, EUR 50 pp but I'm sure it would have been a great experience. We did hire bikes and enjoyed exploring that way, but most of the time we just didn't want to leave the pool, the views and the fabulous food on our doorstep!||||One thing we did do which was a huge hit with the kids and some adults was to visit the Mugello race track. It's about 15 minutes drive and on non race days you can drive right up to the grandstand and walk straight in and all around the facility and watch local racing bikes speed around the track in practice sessions. It is very loud but amazing to see/hear them up close. ||||Locally the town of Borgo San Lorenzo is great for walking around, the market is very good and they have some excellent restaurants and shops. Scarperia is also very lovely and extremely old and well worth a stroll with a gelato. ||||Golf is also very close for those that wanted it at Poggio dei Medici. ||||Other staff included Daniela and Linda (who speaks English), both of whom looked after us and the rooms exceptionally well. They brought out games for the kids, made sure we always had tea and coffee facilities all day long, helped us with directions or activity ideas and the like. the night of our wedding we came back to the suite which Daniela had adorned with rose petals, satin sheets, origami towels and champagne, all prepared with great artistry. Daniela also took in our laundry and even ironed everything too. ||||For wine lovers, Christian was a great guide. He brought us down to his cellar and would not only give us tastings that usually ended in the whole bottle getting drunk, but also really knew his stuff and introduced us to many local wines that we might otherwise have overlooked. Valentina also gave us a variety of Tuscan digestifs to try on the house.||||Most of all, we were made to feel truly at home. While the staff was always there when needed, we never felt watched and enjoyed roaming the estate and using the facilities at our leisure. It was the most relaxing of stays and with daily culinary highlights, the fabulous set up around the pool and outside bar, we really didn't want to leave. Bravo to Valentina, Christian and their team, you have melded everything that is wonderful about Tuscany into one beautiful experience. ||||I cannot recommend Le Tre Virtu highly enough.
